941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Covid-19 affect On Bitcoins on: August 09, 2021, 03:38:34 PM
Maybe the pandemic is a blessing I'm disguise in regards to btc and people paying attention to it! During the pandemic that resulted to a forceful lock down, many people lose their jobs, this situation also several to find comfort in online jobs and investment which has been very beneficial and helpful, thus I don't think Covid-19 will have any negative impact rather it will help people to look elsewhere.
942  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2021, 04:41:09 PM
I don't think they will except they have a reason that compel them to do so, infact, it also has to do with the mind set and perception of a government, those countries who are not crypto friendly will not consider this option, rather they will try by any means to avoid it, El Salvador is a crypto friendly country already so it was easy for them to make such decision.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: August 08, 2021, 02:30:04 PM
With all the rumours going around about usdt not being trusted and not fully audited, although it is the most popular and widely used in almost all exchange, nobody knows what will happen in near future or future what the team will be capable of doing, so for safety reasons, I will better choose busd since the are fully backed.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC still top1 on the cryptomarket? on: August 08, 2021, 02:16:27 PM
@op can you think of any other coin that should be in the top other than btc! Aside from being the number one crypto btc is also the most trusted of all crypto out there with the highest support from individuals and institutions as well, I don't think there is any other crypto that deserve that spot more than btc does, it has come a long way and should be at the top.

946  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Prominerz.com is Scamming on: August 01, 2021, 06:12:06 AM
I do not know anything about this website but I saw a similar thread above yours Prominerz where the poster was seeking forum members advise about this same site legitimacy, maybe you should visit the thread if you will find anything useful, in the case of next I think it is better to enquire deeply like finding reviews about the platform before making any payment, I hope you find a way to resolve your case.
947  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to earn Cryptos? on: August 01, 2021, 06:01:09 AM
I do occasional flipping and mostly investing what I can afford to invest, then I engage in campaigns here in the forum to earn crypto as well, I still find investment a sure way to earn crypto and also be able to buy the right project that will give some profit, investing is reliable and doing campaign's is not very reliable because of the type of people organising the campaign's, however, both investing or doing campaign's involves some certain risk which must be noted before engaging in either one of them.
948  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do you believe on signals? on: July 31, 2021, 09:04:08 PM
What signals! If they were good enough many traders would be using them alot by now, before many people thought they c make huge profit by using such signals but to trade, this is no longer the case as people are more aware and wise enough, majority I see on Telegram are most likely scam because they can invade your pm with useless signal ads looking for prey, better to learn TA on your own.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what's with "axie infinity"? on: July 30, 2021, 08:43:35 AM
What determines the long term price sustainability of a project is if it has a good workable product accessible to as many people as possible, it is pretty simple, the more there is a demand for axie infinity product the more the price will be sustained,
take example from binance bnb, what makes bnb so valuable is a working product, not just for the sake of hype and artificial pump, and i can say, in years to come bnb will continue to strive and sustain whatever price it is trading at provided binance is still exiting and doing well, same applies to axie infinity, all the devs need is improve in the product and expand if necessary.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best Cryptocurrencies To Invest in for 2021 on: July 30, 2021, 08:29:09 AM
2021 is the Defi year and most of the defi coins are a good potential investment option that can yield massive profits in the future

And with that, DEFI creators are getting richer and are forgetting the community and investors who are responsible for the growth of DEFI's projects, just look at this news:

Concern as Uniswap-backed 'DeFi Education Fund' dumps $10M worth of UNI

lately I have seen many cases of this type where the creators of Defi projects when they become rich become arrogant, steal, cheat and don't bother to respect the community of their projects. Is as if the Defi were an excellent way to make their owners rich and arrogant

the altcoin bull run this year has paved the way for more development in the yield farming sections of most def projects.

and started to appear many yield farming scam

What do you expect! this projects were not created with a good intention for long term purpose, after seeing several similar behavior from most of this so-called defi projects, i can't seem to trust anyone of them, at least not so easily because once the project has achieve a certain level of price, the next will be a cash out from the team and they will device any means necessary to do so, and also all this yield farming with high apy have something up their sleeve, anyone who is involve should be very careful, they can just disappear into thin air.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for ICO 2021 on: July 29, 2021, 01:45:05 PM
Someone above already recommend icodrops, very good site to keep in touch with all upcoming ico's, they even try to rate the project between rated and unrated to make your seach much easier, even with this, it is still very important to do your due diligent on any of the project you find interesting enough,
i notice most of the project are either making sale with one network or another, (example - polkastar, coinlist, dao maker etc) there is hardly any direct ico anymore, and most of this networks always have requirements before you can participate, sometimes exhausting.
952  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: July 28, 2021, 10:20:47 AM
Bullish all the way till year end, we can't ignore all the recent good news popping up now and then directly or indirectly related to btc, such positive news are what will take btc to the next level of ath, there is no need to be pessimistic it won't help our investment, already the price seem to be coming back gradually, it won't happen at once but it will surely happen.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America Approves Bitcoin Futures on: July 28, 2021, 09:06:51 AM
It is difficult to say that this kind of news is positive. Especially now in a bear market. It should be noted that the banking system and the confidential money market system are two completely different models. Even the opposition between centralization and decentralization.
maybe this is a good sign for bitcoin, but this may be inaccurate news, because we know the US government strictly prohibits bitcoin mining, and still prohibits their people from adopting bitcoin, but if this news is true and can be trusted most likely, this will be good news for bitcoin..

Adoption will not come at once, it has to go through process to get to that stage, the use government nay have strict rules regarding btc mining and acceptance but for some reason most big organizations in USA are able to associate with btc even in the face of this strict rules by the government, they say every problem has a solution, and somehow btc is penetrating deep into the system so who knows at some point the government will have no choice than to soften all this strict rules and make them more flexible.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Btc or Usdt? Which is better to gamble with? on: July 27, 2021, 09:11:18 AM
I had been gambling with btc since long time and even changed to some alts while fees in btc transactions were high. But after btc came down to half its ath, it had already flattened the curve for so many gamblers who doubled their btc but didn't sell it for fiat. I heard from some of my colleagues in crypto that Usdt is scam and may blow up some day, so is it a matter of worry that should stop me from gambling with Usdt? Or should I use it as a hedge against btc right now when the markets are so volatile and we are unsure of what may happen with btc's value?

Individual perception but personally i don't gamble with btc, i have held some percentage of my portfolio through the ath and sold some to re-buy when it dip, i am not much of a gambler so i like to maintain my position with the btc i have, right now am able to re-buy back with the dip which is good, however, i prefer alts flipping than btc, and this is something i do occasionally not frequently since my goal is long term.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: "Decentralized' exchange Uniswap starts blocking token access on: July 27, 2021, 08:26:12 AM
Well it shows nothing is truly 100% decentralized, people always claim dex are more secure because you have total control than cex but with this action it shows even dex can pull a fast one whenever they feel the need to do so after all they are owned by an individual or group and must protect their interest, if they can do this then certainly they can do more than this if necessary.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is looking to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year on: July 26, 2021, 01:37:41 PM
i take it this recent pump in price was as a result of the Amazon news or unconfirmed news for the sake of market recovery i hope this will turned out to be true and not some rumor flying around  Grin, it is long overdue, Amazon should already be thinking towards accepting btc as part of payment option, they have nothing to loss rather to gain instead.
957  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi on: July 26, 2021, 08:43:50 AM
Depending on how dip the investigation will be a customer should be on alert regardless, perhaps this could be nothing serious or not, but you should always keep in touch with the issue so you know when to make any serious decision, i don't use them but it is good to be prepared.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 25, 2021, 09:24:10 AM
Haters will always hate especially when you are growing as a business and your popularity is advancing well, binance started from the bottom like every other business and work their way to the very top, not only that they were able to expand the scope of their business smoothly by introducing different ways of rendering services, people may accuse cz of playing dirty games but for a business to succeed some certain decisions must be taken that others may not find very pleasant, Elon did not get to the top by being polite. You must learn to take the bull by the horn, people will always critisize no matter what you do.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have patience to count from 1 to 100? on: July 25, 2021, 08:17:57 AM
Now there are three questions in America. 1. The sluggish economy 2. High inflation 3. The outbreak of the epidemic.
Dow plunges nearly 900 points on July 19 2021.Bitcoin drops back below $30,000 yesterday.
All are disappointing signs. Many investors plan to sell Bitcoin. Most people lose patienceIn for cryptocurrency.
But In long-term trading, in addition to knowledge, patience is more important than any other factor. How do u think of it?

When things are good nobody complain about things are going too smoothly and they can no longer take it, but immediately things are a bit rough around the edges, complains are what you see on a daily basis, nobody said life will be smooth as butter all through, pandemic only started 2019 but before that time many people live a healthy life and has the freedom to do whatever they want without fear or restrictions, even then many did not appreciate their good health and freedom, now things have change but that don't mean it will remain this way, better days will surely come around again if we are patience enough.
We don't appreciate what we have until we lose it.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musk is going to hurt the Crypto Industry, sign this petition on: July 24, 2021, 10:01:29 AM
It doesn't matter what Elon Musk does or don't do, what matters most is how people react to any piece of information he shared online, only if the crypto community give him the opportunity to hurr the industry, he is not the only wealthy person in crypto who has invested, it is just unfortunate that some pay attention to him more than they should, good thing he is thinking more positive ways to be part of this space despite everything, I hope this time is for the better.
