941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 14, 2023, 07:25:03 PM
Can we use below example:
> Bet $100 to win $50 (odds 1.5x) or bet $10 to win $50 (odds 5x) with the same starting bankroll, lets say $100
In this case which one is better for me? The 2nd one will be my choice because I'm not a type of gambler who like to go all in with my bankroll.
However most of the time I like to play with small bet and hunt for big multipliers, I can enjoy this strategy more than to go all in.

Yeah, and it just shows that there are no one size fits all strategy. Really depends on how we see the risk just like the scenario that you laid out.
And let's say you love slots like me, this can also be applicable, you can used small bankroll and just go for minimum bet and see how it goes.
Or if I have big capital, I will start with some max bets per line at least and hopefully have a good multiplier and hit the bonus run.
So there are no best approach here, most likely depends on your strategy.
942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 14, 2023, 07:14:53 PM
That's a laughable move from their policy makers in Australia because it won't stop the people from losing billions more in illegal gambling. People won't stop gambling, but they're killing an industry for legal gambling.

Yep, that's true, they are killing the legal gambling in Australia for sure, and I think it might create a entirety of illegal bookies don't you think?
But on the other hand, the land based casinos might benefited here in the long run if the government tries to kill the online gambling business with this policies.
In any case though, its going to be difficult for the government of Australia to curb our the gambling industry.
People are resistant and will have to find out other ways to continue with their gambling addiction.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 11, 2023, 06:06:04 PM
I'm not really viewing Takuma as a threat because he doesn't have that one punch like his brother does.

We should disregard Takuma Inoue being the younger brother of Naoya Inoue when it comes to analyzing the fight.

Instead, we can consider saying that Takuma might not be a threat to Ancajas because of;

a) fighting experience
b) not a Knock Out specialist
c) the WBO Bantamweight title he owned was vacant prior

But personally for me, threat or not, I don't want to think that Takuma Inoue should be an easy fight for Ancajas. He is now a champion and will defend his first-ever WBO Bantamweight title in front of his fellow countrymen. It will fuel more to unleash his best performance as a champion.

Yes, so there's a lot of the shoulders of Takuma Inoue right now. I mean his brother has set precedence in the bantamweight already and we can say that he might want to follow his brother path too to become undisputed by it will not be very easy.
Because in his first title defense, it will be against a former champion and have a good knockout power in Jerwin Ancajas.
And we all know that Jerwin has all the tools to become a world champion again. And so Takuma Inoue here might be in danger losing his first title defense.
Unless he really trains very hard, but then again, even if he is the brother of the Monster, he can't be help by him once the bells ring.
With that majority here might go with Ancajas to win and it will be impressive if he can score a knockout.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 11, 2023, 05:53:35 PM
Anyway, I'm already expecting what you said because Shakur just proved it again that the guys are ducking him, including Haney. Now, nobody can argue that because that's what happened.

Well, without a doubt and as expected, Shakur Stevenson himself already made a move on the social media about the recent ducking incident where his supposedly foe for a championship fight, Frank Martin, suddenly pulled out after both camps have already agreed to a fight in November 16. But what is funnier is that I didn't expect that Frank Martin will response to it saying that he is not ducking anybody.

Yes, he responded by saying that "I ain't duck s**t", but it's very clear to us boxing fans that he avoided Stevenson.
Maybe down the line they are still going to fight, but after their supposedly negotiations and some insider information that both parties have agreed and they even had dates already narrow then and then suddenly the camp of Frank Martin calls it off? Then it's very obvious.

I mean it will help his case if he has some reasons to back up his actions, but the thing is, he doesn't have any.

Except that money ain't that good, easy as that.
But sometimes to have to take less to gain more, as what others boxers did throughout their careers and it paid off.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots with the purchase of bonus games - is it good or bad? on: September 11, 2023, 05:33:21 PM
for a player (like me) who doesn't like playing slots game and rarely connects to casinos... I believe that this "bonus" option which allows faster play... has a positive impact!  Cool
it makes the game less boring, faster, easier and maximizes potential winnings.
no I don't think it's a type of game that allows you to win more but in any case it's a game mode that I find somehow appealing.

Yeah, if you are that kind of person, who just want to see the results of the game, then buying bonus plays are good.
But sometimes there are gamblers who like to have some fun and so they play slots the way it was design, try your luck to see if you can get that big bonus.
So I guess there's nothing wrong with buying one, there are still that risk that it's not going to be worth in the end, or the buy bonus will give you that win that you are expecting in the end.
Again, for me I try it at times and the results is 50/50 on my end.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 11, 2023, 12:18:01 PM
Same with you, Canelo's fan based might bring that money plus the fact that interest if how Crawford will try to snatch the belt under Canelos possession.

We need more updates regarding to any possibility of this possible match up to take place,.

Yeah! you're right because this is the right time to make that fight happen cause Crawford is at the peak of his career and popularity which is why they need to look for a bigger stadium next time in order to make it a real historical event in the boxing history. This is how it should be, no drama whatsoever unlike with Spence they took a long time before they finally stepped in the ring. Crawford wants to make it happen, then Canelo should win his fight and then make Crawford's dreams come true.

It will still Canelo though as the A-side if he decided to fight Crawford.
Because it's obvious that he can still bring fans to whatever stadium is it and so it will result in a good live gate numbers.
Not saying that Crawford can't bring fans, but we all know that he hasn't had that following for casual fans, only hardcore boxing fans are familiar with him.
But the likes of Canelo wherein the whole country is behind it, he is really huge for the last 5 years or so.
And with that, the numbers, PPV and live gate will be very big if ever this fight is going to happen in the next coming months.
947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH LESS MONEY? on: September 10, 2023, 12:57:21 PM
-snip-
This is one of the ways that will maketh opportunity for us if we are serious and ready to go the next level. There are some airdrops that are profitable and can earn us a reasonable amount of money if we know how to go about it . trading is another way we can earn money from the little we have if we have a good understanding about trading and how to position our trades that will earn us a good profits whether we do it per time or full time.
Expecting free airdrops today is still quite difficult, unlike airdrops in the past that provided large incentives for airdrop hunters, and in addition to airdrops, there are many Bounties that provide large allocations for social media, article creators and other categories.
I myself can even get up to thousands of dollars when the project is successful.

Yes, this is no longer 2017, wherein airdrops can worth be like $100 in the beginning and then it will go up for more.
I guess those where the golden days of airdrops, like the Onion airdrop that I can remember, once of the biggest back then.

For trading, of course, you still need a large enough capital to get a commensurate profit income, but it is not easy.
Trading requires good analytical knowledge, it cannot be done only with reason and logic.

Maybe we can start at $100 and work our way up. But it's going to be very difficult in the beginning and maybe you can lose that initial capital of yours.
That's why it's really hard to make more money with less money. Because we wanted our money to work with us.
And so we need big capital to start win, like for example buy some Bitcoin worth $2000 and then just hold on it and wait what will be the return on the next bull run.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 10, 2023, 12:43:37 PM

It's not really a shame because Donaire has proved enough in the industry of what he can do, he achieved enough that Manny Pacquiao himself trusted and passed the torch to him to make the Filipinos proud, and as a Filipino, I'm proud of what he has become but when it comes to reality, it's hard to argue that Donaire is already in the sunset of his career while Inoue is still at his sunrise.

We can say that age might not be a factor but that is not really the case because let's not forget that Donaire is already at his 40s and it's hard to say really that he still have the power and speed to keep up with the guys who are still on the height of their prime like Naoya Inoue.

Good point and it's valid, if they met during Donaire's prime I can also agree that it might be a different outcome, just look what happened from the first met Donaire coming from a long vacation and almost beat that prime Inoue.

Fight gonna be fantasy though, I mean they met when Donaire might be in the sunset of his career. But yeah, maybe a prime Donaire that destroys everyone at bantamweight, or even a prime Inoue, it might be a different story. Donaire's weaknesses is fighting taller guy or moving up in weight class.
But if he remains at bantawmeight and fight smaller guys than him, he will have a good chance that he is going to knock that opponent out with either left hook or his upper cut.
The landscape though is very different for Inoue now, he is at the prime years and it's hard to see him beaten by Tapales here, IMHO.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 10, 2023, 12:17:36 PM
But here, in this new weight class, it's not all about the power, it's going to be a thinking game as well. Like you said, Takuma is not well known for his power and yet he has won the belt. Because he has that intelligent and hopefully the camp of Ancajas will have a good game plan here, otherwise it will be Ancajas 3rd lost in 4th fight which is not good for the former champion.

It's a new journey for Ancajas, and he should forget his losses and simply learn from them. He should strive to win the belt currently held by Takuma, as if I'm not mistaken, the Philippines doesn't have a world champion anymore. Losing this fight won't help his future, as if he keeps losing, opportunities will keep fading as well. So personally, I'm rooting for him to win and betting on him as well. It's a tough situation, considering this fight will happen on the home court of the champion. Ancajas needs to be impressive so that judges would award him the win in case no one goes down.

I think he has already move up about his back to back loses already. In fact he already won via knockout in his last fight that's why he has been given the first crack for the belt that Takuma got when his brother Naoya vacated the belt.

Of course, majority is rooting for Ancajas to win, we want him to get back on track and become a champion again. He used to be the champion at 115 lbs and he has dominated it for years. And hopefully when bantamweight is open now, we might see a lot of fighters really getting into the position and perhaps another unification fight in the future.

We would love to see unification fights in the future, as they are more entertaining compared to championship fights where one is a challenger. Inoue started it, even winning the undisputed fight, so hopefully, every champion will follow suit and not be afraid to risk their belt, even if they think their fellow champion could potentially beat them. This is a competition, and in order to gain recognition, one has to fight the best.

Every boxer wanted to get all the belts, specially now that we have the modern 4 belt era, that's for sure.
The problem though is that the promotion or the manager will have to settle a lot of things with the organizations that we already concluded that they are corrupt because promotions can simply pay and have their boxers goes for unification.
But it's very hard after you have won all the belts because there could be mandatory fight that might sit well with the schedule of boxers.
Just like what Josh Taylor did or even Inoue, they have vacated the belts and in the case of Josh Taylor he just got like 1 or 2 belts but he lost it already against Teo Lopez.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 10, 2023, 11:43:58 AM
So bad. This fight is off. It's already circulating quickly in the boxing community since yesterday. I don't know who's right or wrong. The purse bid was called off after PBC and Martin allowed Top Rank and ESPN to handle this fight. But once Martin receives the contract, he don't want to sign it citing he was low-balled by Shakur and Top Rank. Martin is guaranteed over a million dollars which will be his biggest purse in his career which seems very good already knowing this is also his first title fight. I guess he is okay with that money which is actually very big already but he felt low-balled upon knowing that Shakur is guaranteed $5 million.

Doesn't makes sense isn't it? When you have that big opportunity in the line to get that kind of money, then suddenly you turn it down?
I feel sorry for Martin though, maybe someone from inside calls it, maybe it was his promotion Spence who doesn't like what they see.

PBC fans will call this a low blow but Top Rank fans will call Martin greedy. Shakur is obviously the A-side here. Shakur just moved up but prior to that, he was a former 2-division world champion, former unified champion, and lineal champion at 130.

It's business though, we all know that someone will really have to start below at like $1 million offer and then make his way up if he becomes a champion.
So no excuses here, it was about the money and Frank Martin's camp became greedy.

The WBC, Shakur, and Top Rank are now looking at who's next in the rankings. But hopefully, they can still settle the issue. Maybe give Frank Martin $1.5 million before giving up on him. If Martin refuses then he is missing his chance of a title fight. I doubt Martin can contest and tell the WBC to make the purse bid since he and PBC already called it off in favor of Top Rank.

Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz and William Zepeda is rank 4 and 5 in WBC. But not sure if Top Rank are going to be interested on those names though.
Shakur will have to find a dance partner in the next couple of weeks.

I'm not creating this thread to wrong or offend anyone, because i have read so many post that is like fiction, even though cooperate with system, so many thread in Bitcoin discussion mostly newbies like me do frame a story that is not real in Bitcoin and also said a story of what they achieve in Bitcoin that is not real and present to the public to read and take as real story whereas it's a fiction, I want the reason behind someone given a fiction story to the forum. I want ask a question as an old forum user, is it not prohibited when someone discussed something that is not contrary to bitcoin education in this board.

I guess members here can distinguish fact from fiction from totally trolling. And specially stories that came from newbies and too good to be true story?
For sure the members are going to ask him a lot of question to that point that we can say that he is just making up stories to get some merits.
So if you find new threads here, then you can ask the OP itself and if he didn't come back to answer then simply ignore him/her.
And then there are newbies who simply shill for certain projects and it's going to be obvious as well.
952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exploring Crypto Prediction Tools: Which Ones Have You Tried? on: September 09, 2023, 09:10:52 PM
Hey crypto enthusiasts  Smiley

I recently came across the platform https://crydis.com, which is an AI-driven crypto prediction service. It provides real-time market data analysis and delivers insights directly to your email daily. I've been using it for several weeks now and I must say, the results have been accurate and immensely helpful!

Navigating the crypto waters can be a daunting task, especially given the market's inherent volatility. But with Crydis, I feel I've been able to make more informed decisions based on their short-term predictions. It's been a game-changer for my trading strategy, helping me stay ahead in this crypto market.

However, as someone always looking to diversify my toolkit, I'm curious about other platforms you all might be using. Has anyone here tried Crydis? And if so, how does it compare to other platforms you've experienced?

Thanks!

Nah, it's better if you really immerse yourself about the technical analysis side of crypto and maybe you can really appreciate the volatility and uses it to your advantage.
Unlike using such apps or tools to help you out to make predictions. I mean do you really have to rely to crypto prediction tools and based everything on that app before you invest?
Or just used the old adage "do your own research" thingy?
Sorry to burst the bubble for you, but I'm not buying this so called prediction platform that you are trying to shill and promote in this community.
And obviously, others knows what you are doing here, so it's not a good thing.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 09, 2023, 09:00:13 PM

Well, if that's the case then there is a big chance that we can see the fight that we have been waiting for all these years. A fight where Casimero and Inoue will finally share the same ring and make the argument end once and for all. Although, after saying that, that also means that we're truly underestimating Tapales here because we're already assuming that by then Inoue is still the champion and that Tapaes was just a mere ladder to achieve Inoue's target.

I think every boxing fan wants to see that fight happen since that was the only fight for Inoue to prove he is the real monster if he beat Casimero, it would be a great accomplishment for him since he found the last piece of the puzzle for his achievement. As for Tapales, he won't have any chance to win the fight and it would be just a waste of belts to fight Inoue right now. Maybe he needs more time until he fights Inoue but if he really wants to try his luck then it's really up to him.

Tapales probably sees an opportunity in fighting Inoue; it's the money he would make, which is bigger compared to fighting an unknown boxer who would be his challenger. He's seizing the opportunity, win or lose; he would make a decent paycheck. But if he wins via an upset, it will be life-changing for him, and he will be recognized all over the world. With that to happened, I'm sure there are more opportunities waiting for him.

.we are all know that once a champion will have a fight against challenger then he can not say that he can earn a lot of money or even he can receives a good offer cause as we all know that only few around the world will watch your fights. Unless a champion vs champion then we can say that there a lot of people want to watch cause they will know that both fighter a re champion then they will see a good fight for sure.

The purse is already a guaranteed amount a boxer would receive, with additional earnings coming from PPV and other advertisements, depending on the outcome of the fight. In my opinion, the style of the boxers matters a lot because most of the boxers who are KO artists attract fans significantly, as they entertain the fans. This is unlike the boxers who are boring in the ring. Additionally, a champion vs. champion matchup does not guarantee good money, especially if both boxers do not take risks by being aggressive. To be specific, I don't find the styles of Haney and Shaku entertaining, which is why they don't generate good PPV numbers.

Correct, they already have guaranteed money here, and they will have just to follow the governing body's rule about how much money is going to be involved. And then the two parties will have to agree who will get the lion share.
I have no doubts that Casimero is the A-side here, maybe around 60-40 split or even higher as Oguni is already way past his prime and this fight is a tune up for Casimero.
The fight is going to be held in Japan though, so perhaps Oguni will have his fans watching this fight or maybe Japanese fans in general.
954  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰⚽️ Cryptoplay.io - Casino and Sportsbook | Race and Rise to Riches - $2M | VIP on: September 09, 2023, 08:25:12 PM
Yes, it looks like we have a new casino on the horizon here and trying to make it's way to top.
Nevertheless, competition is very tough though, just saying. But for us gamblers, the more the better, because we will have more options as to what casino's we want to try.
And if I may add regarding the promotion and marketing, I guess it's better if you will have like signature campaigns here so that your casino's will be exposed to the gamblers here.
As sometimes, gamblers might not be aware that there are new casinos, but thru signature campaigns only.
So best of luck, and also welcome to the community.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 09, 2023, 08:14:24 PM
I haven't seen enough hype about this fight. The media is more focused on Canelo and Crawford nowadays. I wonder if Eddie made the right call by signing Regis Prograis and Devin Haney. These guys aren't cheap and will be paid millions of dollars but they need to sell tickets, PPV, and convince companies for sponsorships. Maybe the fans are tired of Haney's boring style and while Prograis packs a punch, he is not that popular to the casuals.

Fight is still months to go so there are no hype currently. But maybe when the fight approaches, they are going to sell this fight as both are trash talkers. I do agree that Eddie might have sign this boxers for good amount of money so he needs to get it back. But not sure how, they need some good storyline to sell this fight to the boxing fans. And Eddie might be losing money in the end.

There's only one reason why the fight was moved: people are not interested in watching it. I'm not sure if this will really happen despite the announcement that it could take place later this year. It still depends on how the fans will react to this fight. If it's not going to be profitable for the promoters, it will likely be off this year. I would bet on the outcome; I think it's not going to happen this year.

With lots of exciting fights happening now, who would want to watch Haney, a somewhat boring boxer, against a non-popular champion?

It might be true. The real hype starts once the date of the fight is getting nearer. Both do not like each other right now so we might see an exciting press conference and face-offs during the fight week. Selling tickets in the venue might not be that hard but I guess the PPV buys will be only around 200k. Hopefully, we'll see good matchups in the undercards.

Maybe we'll make a friendly bet, I believe this fight will happen this year. Grin I still watch this fight live because I want to see if Regis Prograis can land his power shots on Devin Haney. Regis is not that popular but I like him, he is exciting to me because he knocks people out.

In addition, this will be a testament for Eddie, if he can really bring the hype on this fight. Previously, all of his fights involved high profile boxers like Canelo.
But since Canelo didn't sign a contract with him, and so he has to find fighter that can bring money for his business in the US.
And as we all know, he has been criticitized by his competitor, specially Top Rank's Bob Arum.
By chance if he losses millions here, then he might have to fight or sign popular boxers in his stable to at least break even in this fight.
I do agree that Regis is exciting because he is a heavy puncher, but he is not well known amongst boxing fans.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 09, 2023, 08:01:08 PM
And I read that this is for the interim WBC title at 135 lbs? What gives? I mean they still have their regular champion in Haney so why the hell WBC have to put up another interim belt on the line? It doesn't make sense. All they have to do is wait for the result of this fight and whoever it is, then fight their regular champion, be the mandatory fighter for the belt held by Haney?

I guess corrupt WBC will have to give way again to Top Rank to have another champion in the line for them. In any case, this is a good fight as I have said before, but Shakur for me has the better skills and will win the fight.

It's because Haney is moving up in weight class and wants to fight Regis Prograis at 140 lbs.
So for now, he can't defend his belt and they don't know what will be the decision or Haney based on the result of his fight.
For the meantime, their top rank fighter in their division is Loma, but Loma said that he didn't want to fight at least for this year after that lost to Haney.
And so the number 2 Stevenson become the highest rank fighter to fight for the interim belt against their number 4.
So whoever wins this fight, and Devin Haney doesn't want to defend the belt or will stay at 140 lbs, they might relegate the status of the winner here to a full and regular WBC 135 lbs champion.
957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Preparations for BTC Halving and bull market on: September 08, 2023, 06:25:46 PM
Is it too late already? I don't think so, it takes only a single day for Bitcoin to lose 40% of it's value and we still have few months before the next halving, That's a lot of time left and anything can still happen.

As for me and as far as experience goes, yeah it might be too late.
However, even in the bull run you can continue to grow and save Bitcoin specially right after the halving.
So I guess the name of the game is that, the earlier the better. Maybe last year if we start at the last 6 months, and then maybe invested or bought during the lowest low price of $15,500 and the continue till this year, we might have a big amount of Bitcoin in our wallet.
But I guess everyone is very different and as I have said, if you have experience the last bear market and bull run, you could have a idea when to start accumulating Bitcoin in preparation for the next bull run (how time flies, next year we will be at this cycle again).
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 08, 2023, 06:08:13 PM

With regards to the potential Canelo vs. Bud next year, it sounds crazy but really doable if Canelo approves it. If I were Canelo, I would take it since it is the biggest fight in boxing right now. He will be bashed a lot though if he wins and it could be worse if he loses to someone who moves up two divisions. I like Bud to win but I believe Canelo will be too much and destroy him.

No doubt, it would be the best fight ever since the guy will not hesitate to move just for the sake of beating Canelo and it will be the best opportunity for him as well because he won't need to sacrifice much since he is comfortable in their weight division, it would be best for him to accept such fight in order to fully raise their flag and we will seeing another huge fight next year once again.

Canelo should take that opportunity, as Crawford is at a big disadvantage if he moves up just to fight him. Take the win and earn a lot of money; that's good for him. He also has a big chance to destroy Crawford's dream of becoming an undisputed champion again. One thing that this fight guarantees is that both fighters are going to make a lot of money, so there's no reason this would not happen.

Good point, as we know that it's more on business and if the price is right, both fighters will be convinced to take one another, I think if Canelo will take this fight and win Crawford's hype will turned to him, I mean the current popularity of Crawford after beating Spence will go all the way to Canelo, and from that point, there's more money to expect whoever will be the next fighter to challenge him.

All will be depend on how the negotiation will work and what are the conditions between these two camps, but there's nothing wrong to expect if the fight will take place.

Crawford is enjoying the popularity he has now, and he wants to aim for a bigger challenge to become even more popular. He is not even thinking about his disadvantage; probably, as other boxers might just challenge a champion in a catchweight. However, Crawford is different; he wants to go up three weight divisions higher just to face the champion. I like the confidence of Crawford right now, as he leaves Canelo with no excuses for not taking this fight.

So, after Canelo beats Charlo, I think this fight will start to hype.

Crawford displaying this kind of guts and confident towards the whole boxing industry, it truly gives us a hard time to even doubt what he's thinking because we know that he wouldn't jump into cases that he knows he got only less chance in winning. And so I know that if he wanted to take this road then he sure do knows what he is doing, and we should trust them for that.

I even have some thought that he may have an upper hand against a man who literally owns and dominate his own weight class, Canelo Alvarez.

Most likely it was because of his confident win over Crawford, plus he and his team might see something in Canelo specially after the John Ryder fight.
Funny thing is that there are a lot of individuals in the boxing community that say Crawford can win. I say funny because one of them is his former manager Oscar dela Hoya.
But we all know where Oscar is coming from, and it seems that he is still hurt when Canelo severe his tie with him.
Seriously though, it boils down on the result of the Charlo against Canelo fight.
If Canelo wins, then maybe we can see his fighting Crawford next.

Nah, not sure about Food betting though, doesn't sounds right. But the world is moving very fast right now that we have weird competitions and sports already.
And for me I don't consider it a sports though, I mean how can someone categorically call it a sports?
Just like the majority, I'm not a fan of it and so I wouldn't bet if ever there will be one offered by crypto sports bookies.
I'm old school so for me sports like tennis, boxing, UFC/MMA and football.

Some people that are addicted hide their gambling activities because they believe if people notice the amount they spend on gambling, then they will be blamed. Some people might end up spending money that is supposed to be spent on their family members on gambling, which is wrong, so they won’t want their family members to know they are spending that amount of money on gambling.

Also, for some people, gambling is illegal in their religion, and most of them want to gamble, so they will rather gamble and keep it secret so that people won’t see them as bad people, so they decide to keep it a secret.

Anyone being responsible whenever gambling shouldn’t have to hide that they play sometimes.

I think there are positions or jobs that might require you to hold a lot of money and so not saying that you will steal something, but if you are a gambler there could be some temptations.
That's why if you work on that job, it's better not to gamble or not to show it to others.
Another good example if you are a government employee, at least in our place, it is frown upon if you have been seen in a gambling casino.
Of course everyone can manage their gambling activity or worst become a gambling addict. But there could be consequences when you have something to protect and then you still go and play and gamble, IMHO.
