961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: May 18, 2023, 03:47:10 PM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.

It's very possible and has happened before this time, many people that have invested in some year back made a huge s of money on altcoins and they hodl them, the target is all about the bullrun season whereby the bitcoin reaches it all time high and set a new record for another, during this period, every other cryptocurrencies also surges and move up, but only few may not make reasonable changes and try to go down the opposite, those are the ones we often refer to as shitcoins.
Where as there too many people that had also lost their $100 trying to turn it into big profits. It's right that the key is to hodl them until bull run came where majority of the altcoins can go ridiculously high but the thing that people got wrong is investing on wrong altcoins that didn't even survive the bear market and becomes pointless during bull market. We should aim for tokens that can survive until bull market and not focus on meme coins as an example. OP should do his research into investing since the topic is possible and not too good to be true, We just need to be wise on picking the altcoin we want to hodl for a long time.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins ? on: May 18, 2023, 03:02:24 PM
People who had made good fortune out of memecoin likes it much more than the common cryptocurrency users. I'm not much into memecoin, but I prefer having specific memecoin for what it have delivered in the past. As stated memecoins were short term investment, if not we should've invested what we can afford to loss.

In recent days once again memecoin discussion have reached the cryptocurrency trend. Someone can be seen lucky and we should understand the risk in it and progress. Major thing required with memecoin investment is luck.
Really? I mean I see it as a short-term fortune more than just the long-term fortune. I am curious on what meme coin/s were in your portfolio in the past? I suppose it would be Doge Coin due to its popularity back in the days and they're even being used in casino I believe?

Meme coins became even more trending when Musk shilled the crap out of Shiba and Doge and now people are talking about them quite often. It's not really that much of a topic back then and in fact, I might not have read the word "meme coin" back in 2017 and 2018 here in the forum.
I think he doesn't have any meme coins in the past since he doesn't like it that much. Meme coins are just being given away before as far as I remember it's on year 2016 where I received my first DOGE that is given to me. DOGE that day is serving it's purpose as a tipster coin that is just being given away because of it's low value and high supply but today DOGE are for keepers and ELON really change up the game. I just regret it before that the DOGE I received as a tip before on a certain exchange (I forgot the exchange name) where close now due to bankruptcy and I didn't even had the chance to withdraw those doge from that exchange. It's a sad ending for my DOGE back then but yeah I didn't spend any money from acquiring that.
963  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 18, 2023, 02:28:20 PM
Refund is a strong word for a casino. I immediately checked this thread after seeing a refund title. It's really is the first time to see a casino that will offer a refund if users are not satisfied. I worry about the sustainability of the offer that you guys made, Do you have at least a mechanics on how it will work since I believe that it is a too good to be true offer. Multi account abusers will surely enjoy your casino! As it can easily be abused, The cash back percentage is pretty insane too. With the offers you guys showed here, It's too much for a casino and I think I'm doubting the future legitimacy of your casino.

Also you can try to improve your ANN thread since it's not very alluring to eyes of viewers.
964  Economy / Gambling / Re: vbetFTN.com | Leading Online Gambling Operator | 🎰 on: May 18, 2023, 02:00:03 PM
On the KYC tip, it looks like your casino's got folks uploading their IDs, which ain't exactly a crowd-pleaser, myself included. You only holla for KYC when someone's tryna bounce after a big score? Plus, any chance of some bitcointalk-only giveaways popping off down the line?

TC already updated in regarding it. No KYC is required after the withdrawal. So only the suspicious activities might lead to us requesting it so.

More giveaways and challenges will be dropping to the Games and Rounds soon. Oh yes, and the first one is already live.

Cheers,

That's nice that you are just requiring KYC to gamblers that has suspicious activity but I have a silly question about that. What happened if you detect the user cheating like using scripts, bots etc.. Will you still ask for KYC even if there are little to no use of KYC information to the alleged rule that has been broke.

That's nice that you have launched a giveaways and campaigns since you will have more visibility in this forum just like what other successful casino did when they started their advertisement in this forum. Aggressive marketing on social media is also effective as other casino do it also.
965  Economy / Gambling / Re: What all are your considerations before picking your go to sportsbook? on: May 18, 2023, 01:33:19 PM
Are there bookmakers now that definitely do not require KYC, even after a big win?

I am not sure what you consider big, but some Gosus I know play "big" (with big deposits/withdrawals) at Stake and BC without KYC. In my opinion that "big" is everything above $5k... I guess even that amount is huge for many of us.

Before I choose a sportsbook or casino, I always check if it's BTCGosu approved. Almost 3 years now, without any serious issues, and those little things I had (mostly my mistakes) were solved. I also don't like KYC and after many years of playing in many popular casinos not even one of them asked me to do one.
I've also seen gamblers that still haven't received their KYC request from stake, I guess that casinos like this has a criteria in requesting a KYC from gamblers. Above $5k is big for me knowing that I personally haven't bet that kind of amount on a single bet. If you don't want to submit a KYC on a casino, You can try the casino mentioned above since as far as I know they don't collect KYC for no reason. Just follow their rules and you should be good to go. It's not an assured advise but taking a chance by choosing them at least there's no guarantee that they will collect your identification as soon as you withdraw.
966  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 17, 2023, 04:54:01 PM
Of course, we would wish to get our money back, but once it is gone from our hands, it cannot be recovered.
This is a classic trick used by scammers to deceive beginners in gambling.
They attract them by making them win money in the beginning and then take it away in one shot.
That's why having presence of mind and self-control is a necessity to survive in today's world.
It won't be recovered because they can easily flock away. This kind of scheme is existing in every countries and it is more prominent in active cities or tourist destination. I'm always skeptical on this kind of scheme and I know why I still don't fall for it, It's because I still haven't tried it yet. This kind of scheme isn't just by doing small bets but there are times that there are thieves on the audience using the chance of you being distracted by watching or doing gambling, they can steal your valuables easily.

It's an old scheme actually but it still works I guess since this kind of scheme are still being done by someone.
967  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is something big happening behind the scenes that no one is talking about? on: May 17, 2023, 04:25:15 PM
Is like many if these casinos are spending more than they can chew and for this reason they can decide to lower the rate of bonus they are giving out to there loyal customers which is not a bad idea. They may be trying hard to make sure that they fix some bugs in there platform to make sure they make more money from gamblers. They can decide to operate there casino any way they likes.
I don't understand how they can earn more money from gamblers if they fix the bugs on their platform. It is obviously true that they are cutting costs because they are definitely facing some economic crisis and aren't getting enough revenue to sustain their platform the way they could but these things are temporary for casino businesses as they earn pretty good most of the times.

And they obviously also can run their casino the way they like and can always change their terms and conditions and bonuses as per their will and budget without notifying their players though I feel they should let players know of any change.
I also don't know how to connect fixing a bug to earn profits from gambler but I guess he thinks about the losing trust of gamblers in playing in a casino that has some bugs? Established casino will have no problems in taking new gamblers in their casino, Maybe they reach the point that gamblers are the one come to them because of the trust that they built for a long time. I guess we can speculate that they are not getting much profit on their casino anymore or the bonuses is what causing them in getting lower estimated revenue. There are a lot of possible reason because they didn't disclose it to the public.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: May 17, 2023, 03:33:49 PM
The reason why many people has not been invest, is because of the Bear market, which is really affect Bitcoin price and Bitcoin is the driving force of cryptocurrency market, which to invest in alt-coins has been a challenge for New investors to come in to cryptocurrency market investment is the challenges crypto is facing today, but sooner, cryptocurrency market we explore the world.
Its the complete opposite. I personally believe that this is the perfect time to invest in altcoins knowing that their value are still low and there are a lot of hidden gems waiting to be plucked by investors. There are uncertainty of course but we are talking about investing, investing always has a risk. I don't want to be my old me where I'm buying and investing on tokens where it is on or near its all time high. We are in a cycle and I think that I'm doing what successful investors do before. The hard thing to do today is to find the coin we need to invest on.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 17, 2023, 02:54:54 PM
I've been around for a while so my tactic has varied a lot. I have choosen my coins and tokens by the fact they have:

Real world use case: When i came in i was told buy coins with actual real world use case. I tried to find those but so far i haven't found any real world adoption for anything other than permissionless transfer of wealth that's been done with bitcoin from the start. Maybe some smart contracts can be useful but they have not been adopted in any significant scale. There's potential in many of them, but most of them are now going to be adopted ever. And even their devs know this, yet they can't really say it as they want to sell their snake oil. I a still looking for even one that might be adopted.

Good tokenomics: This i am still using as a reason to buy. Issuance rate needs to be sustainable, and distribution needs to be wide and fair. Marketcap needs to be low enough if we are not talking about the coins that already have the necessary net effect to attract developers and keep on growing more.

Team: I find this most important, without good team that knows their stuff you are destined to fail. In ideal case i choose professionals that are transparent and know what they are doing. They have coders in lead, their own legal team, and regular amas. Needless to say that i want everyone doxxed. So far every coin or token with anon devs that i have bought have vanished.

Right size marketcap: Most money i have made in this game is by finding suitable microcaps, like under $100k. If conditions are right, they can something like to 500k and above really fast, and i can take like 70% of my investment out potentially very fast. Rest of them stay for moonshot. But as a disclaimer i would like to say that while microcaps have have technically most room to grow, they also have highest changes of being rug pulls or slow rug pulls.

Trusting a tip from a friend: For some weird reason my newb friends have found some gems. They don't even necessary understand what marketcap means or how to do research. They might have bought because they liked the name. I see no reason buying them but they are making a killng with them. These days i throw some money on what ever they say. That might not be smart but i might as well.

Aping in to just tokens that has just been released: By doing this i don't have even the time to do decent research. I try to look everything as fast as i can and hope for the best. With this tactic i have found my best micro caps. I have also been bought into some instant rug pulls.
A good tokenomics and a good team is a good combo. A team that can manage a project for a long time and a sustainable token growth. One thing I'm also finding on a project is the what kind of project it is and what kind of product are they aiming to make. A good product is one factor that can make a project relevant to the market, as long as the product is inline with the trend, I'm pretty positive that the token value of that token will rise and project will have a massive growth. So far the biggest consideration I'm giving on a project is the project product as I want my next potential altcoin to be suited on future trends.
As far as I remember halos 50k group members yung axie group na nakita ko before na focus sa PH.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: May 15, 2023, 04:27:46 PM
Normal gamblers mindset in terms of playing. If you a responsible gambler you always stick to your plan and limits. Gambling gives too much excitements to the players reason why they urge to play more.
almost all gamblers find it difficult to do that, being responsible and sticking to the original plan is difficult for a gambler. although there are gamblers who have succeeded in implementing all of them. but I think there will be more gamblers who will not be satisfied with what they won. even more, gamblers will chase bigger wins.
all of this applies to all gamblers across a wide range of games, even those who bet on sports betting. planned to only bet $100, but in reality they could bet much more than that.
It's not right to say almost all gamblers since there are gamblers who can fully control themselves. It's true that majority of the gamblers doesn't have any control since casinos is still thriving and earning their money. I believe that becoming an addict is a come and go situation in our own life. Majority of the gamblers will realize it themselves in the long run as I realize it on my own that it is not a good thing to still continue the lifestyle of being a gambling addict.
972  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Taproot ano nga ba ito? on: May 15, 2023, 02:43:33 PM

First time ko marinig itong taproot nato at currently researching into it. Even yung ordinal is last week ko lang nalaman, I'm shocked na 2021 na pala ito at wala manlang ako nabalitaan at idea about dito. I think bitcoin needs an upgrade and I think eto na siguro yun. Syempre hindi pwedeng mawala yung negative thoughts about dito since yung ordinals ehh may possible problem na dulot, I'm still uncertain sa upgrade nato since wala pakong masyadong idea about dito pero possible maging catalyst to ng bull market if ever.

This kind of information should be shared to everyone kasi almost lahat tayo ay pwede maging possible victim ng hacking method na to. I personally don't even try to charge my phone publicly, unless na gumagamit ako ng sarili kong adaptor, pero if usb charging lang siya is hindi talaga ako nag chcharge. Tagal ko na din alam tong gantong way ng pag hahack kasi napanood ko dati sa youtube at even wala akong crypto assets sa phone ko is I still prioritizing my security kasi andami pwede magawa ng hacker once may access siya sa phone mo or nakuha niya yung files sa phones mo. Invest tayo sa powerbanks or other gadgets especially if may crypto kayo sa wallet niyo kasi alam niyo naman na pag nakuha yan is wala na yan chance maibalik sainyo.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins ? on: May 15, 2023, 01:52:05 PM
These days everyone is talking about the Meme coins and they are trending. Do you like investing in MEME coins ?

Do you like Meme coins and what are your Opinions on Meme coins. I understand Meme coins have no use case but they have hype and that's what you need to make money. Yes, the narrative of Meme coin is very short lived but it may give you 50x or 100x returns within no time.
Meme coins becomes prominent this season knowing there's a possible that people can get a crazy profits on having one. I personally don't have one because I see it as a very risky investment because of it's nature where there are no really utility on it. So many people got a massive profits in having meme coins but there are people who also at a lost after entering when it is at it's peak. We hear crazy stories nowadays about meme coins and this fuels up the hype. I just don't see myself on buying or owning one unless it's given for free. After the happy stories of meme coins, Expect sad stories of people who lost money on investing in it.
975  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 15, 2023, 01:14:58 PM
thanks everyone
They reopened my account, I withdrew all my deposit, but the bets I won became 1
That's still better than losing money, thanks everyone for the support.
Everyone should consider when they win bets here.

This is the first time I've heard of 1xbit.com reopening a locked account; I haven't seen or heard anything like it in a long time.

I hope this is not a socket puppet account by 1xbit.com, but if it is not a socket puppet account then congrats for receiving access back to your account and it was a very smart move for you to have withdrew all your money from it.

After all of these experiences, I doubt you'll continue to use 1xbit.com. Instead, make sure you do your research thoroughly before using any other casino so you don't end up in the same situation as 1xbit.com. Congratulations once more, bro.

Yeah, that is what I thought. We cannot be sure whether he is an actual gambler who suffered the same others have and got his accounts locked without reason or it is an alt account controlled by someone working for this casino. For now, I will give the benefit of the doubt to him.

Congratulations and please from now on, only gamble on reputable casinos which do not need to lock accounts or make gamblers to lose time like they did to you.

Be careful next time and always do your own research.

I'm a real player, I don't work for 1xbit. If I had read the comments here, I wouldn't have deposited in 1xbit. I think they can't find a reason to take my money, it's just a small amount for them ($140). 1xbit must have read my complaint here and unlocked it without telling me a word.
Oh that's a nice news to see. You can't blame people here for speculating that you are working for 1xbit since this is rarely happening that 1xbit really paid someone. They have been a known scammer for a long time now and I believe they are the most distrusted casino here that still try to promote their casino here. Can you post at least the transaction id of the money you had received from 1xbit to give people a hope? This is actually my first time seeing someone withdrawn their money from 1xbit and it's really a big news if you are telling the truth. But yeah, even you have posted it, The way that the community see 1xbit now will never change.

I believe na AI yung gamit niya para sa art at real world images with body stances yung reference yung gamit niya.

kaya gumawa ako ng Youtube to fund this project pero hindi ko na-expect na kahit mag bigay ako for free wala parin interesado.  Smiley
[/quote]Ganun talaga, hype goes down everyone become uninterested and it will go irrelevant. If ever this project is nailaunch last bull market where NFT games/NFT arts is still booming is I think bebenta to kahit mahal pa yung presyo since halos lahat gusto tumake ng chance sa NFT at problem na that time is yung supply ng good NFT projects. Sadly nawalan ng hype ang NFT since bear market at even established NFT arts, platforms and games is nahihirapan ngayong bear market.
977  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: May 14, 2023, 03:27:32 PM
So far, Duelbits uses Twitter as one of its promotional media and many people follow Duelbits and expect to get various kinds of promotions provided by Duelbits.
And this has always been a bone of contention for those ready with their account to get that promotion.
But if we find it hard to get it, we don't need to follow it and wait for further notification from Duelbits in this ANN thread.

Twitter is the more popular social media platfrom so it is not surprising that many casinos use it for their marketing promotions and code  giving activity.
Until now, Twitter is still popular among other popular social media.
But some use other social media because casinos see a development from social media such as TikTok, Instagram or others that can be a place to promote their casinos.
It will allow the casino to get the attention of even more people if they can make promotions there.
I think it's because other social media sites are regulated that much that a casino promotion is being showed less compared to other type of promotions. Also casino owner might know that there are many gamblers that are active on twitter compared to other social media sites this is why they chose to focus on doing promotions on twitter. I've seen several casino promotions on other social medias such as facebook and tiktok but the promotion strategy there is by doing affiliate marketing and influencers are the one who are really taking part of it but yeah twitter is the bias of people as they can speak freely there.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 14, 2023, 02:58:39 PM
The discipline in sticking with the set budget is the most difficult part of all. There will always be that one last bet and it will keep on going.  Cheesy
Taking a deep breath is also right, sometimes we are pulled into a black hole that we forget to analyze what is happening anymore. Recently, I lost some amount due to that kind of attack. Never rested. I thought I could take it back by forcing it but it didn't materialize.

My little advice would be to set a time too. Schedules. This could make us avoid being addicted in the long run.
An example would be like just one hour of gaming or betting after lunch then we rest despite the losses. Again, it takes discipline before this can be done.
Because of the easy access to gambling sites, we can do it anytime but we should not be diving deep unless that is our job. If it's just a hobby, there should be a limit on when we should stop. Just like kids' playtime.
Actually, its not hard to discipline yourself because in the end it's your decision if you know to yourself that you are capable to follow your rules there's control on yourself and not just having only a bet. Always make sure your decision-making is on the right way, you are not a responsible gambler if you just keep ignoring and disobeying the rules you set in yourself. At the end of the day you are just fooling yourself with these said rules. Gambling on yourself risk management, stick to the agenda or plan and keep profit. If you have this you never been loss in playing gambling.
Even though it's not difficult, the reality is that not many people can learn to discipline themselves, especially in gambling, because many people have sunk into gambling deeper than other people. And they can't stop immediately, even when the money is running low, and instead, try to deposit more money. In gambling, you really have to have good control and self-discipline so you don't become addicted to gambling so that nothing bad will happen to you. We must be responsible gamblers to ourselves so that we can enjoy gambling as entertainment and not make gambling a way to make money.
Gambling has an addicting factor to it this is why there are many people who we can refer as an gambling addict. Disciple in hard when you feel the intense adrenaline rush came to your body. Many gamblers feel this at the first time but there are people want to constantly feel it that's why they become a gambling addicts. The feeling that people receive on the first time they gamble is the one that I believe can make them uncontrollable. There are people who can control it but there are other that can't. This is why it's hard to introduce gambling to a people that has no good self control because they can be addicted. We all know the feeling of winning and the frustration of losing, The discipline of not coming back to win again or to comeback in losing is hard for them.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 14, 2023, 02:03:31 PM
I was joining bounty from year 2017 till present i have experience joining different signature and social media campaign with good  earnings and there are also campaigns that is not profitable  and sometimes there are campaign that doesn't pay, because the project does not reach the hard cap when they launch ICO, most of the projects pays token that is not listed on exchange and we need to wait a months or maybe a year before we can sell our tokens and get the profit and sometimes we also buy tokens from the good projects that we promote and hold, can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investors patience?
I think it is on the name itself, bounty hunting. I believe it is different from an investment even though you are investing your time and efforts in making the projects promoting to investors who are willing to put their money on the project. Bounty hunters gets a reward for the things that they are task to and I think it is a like with a job. So if you compared bounty hunting into investment, It seems like being a job is an investment too. It's on my own perspective and I don't think if you guys will agree with me.

I also think it's not right to call yourself a investor in the fact you are just doing bounty hunter jobs.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: May 14, 2023, 11:26:56 AM
If you have frequently reviewed the activities on each project it will be easy to identify scams from new projects, their project scheme will always be the same and only replace the new project name and slogan to attract novice investors, so always check the project so it will be easy to recognize good projects and scam projects, both will surely differ even though scammers have the skills to make web appearance, whitetaper and etc look real but no scam is perfect.
Exactly, we can easily find out the characteristics of scam projects and for simple research then you can review bounty projects, if we can conclude potential projects and scam projects with simple research, the simplest feature is that they don't provide telegram or discord conversation services to avoid questions from members and investors, avoid scam projects by conducting detailed reviews for project/bounty analysis.
How is bounty campaigns helps to conclude that a project is a scam? Having a bounty project doesn't mean the project is indeed a scam or a legit project. I believe that there little to zero project that don't have a communication platform that they are using at the least. It's an untold mandatory thing to connect with your community by having a channel that you can talk to, Even scammers create one themselves because it is how they persuade their community on investing into them. There are various kind of research to do in a project and I believe that relying to the existence of their telegram or discord won't do a thing.
