Damn, that penalty for Atletico in the 89th minute might cost me dearly. A draw there would have pushed me over the line, and a draw would have been the fairest result.

Still, Liverpool looks good as a pick for the 8th question, considering that Arsenal and City are 0-0 at the half time.

Regarding all the sidebets - sorry fellas, but I lost track of those. Trofo told me he and Igebotz have one so I put it in the spreadsheet, if you want me to add yours as well just tag me in the thread or send a DM.

Damn Man City fr! I don't know what I was thinking to have gone for them  Angry It could have been a win for min if only they had manage to score two goals as City, or at least more! Because it's not looking like the Red Bull will get the top 2 position meaning I should be getting that point, but the most that will get me is into the penalties.

@Cryptofrka, at least you should have made some decent profit of Atletico Madrid's win, if you were able to go for the 5 mBTC stake, and winning in the penalties will also guarantee you a double profit, meaning a blessing in disguise after all.

At this point, might as well put money on Samsanova to win Beijing open, huh? Swiatek had a bad outing in the last GS, not sure this is really that meaningful to her (other than money and points, of course).

@buwaytress we are both 2-2 with only last question different. Others all 3, or Igebotz/mv1986 with 2 but 2 answers different, so only us both are in situation where one of us guaranteed to win.  I propose One final 1mbtc sidebet between us for Napoli so loser sends 2 mbtc to friendly winner?

Since I'm giving away money these days, fine, 1 mbtc on the final h2h. Just so I understand correctly, this just means whomever wins owes nothing to the friendly winner, as the loser will pay both stakes to the friendly winner, yeah?

There was no stopping Swiatek here! She came for blood and wanted to earn every bit of her respect back, dropping a set all the way to win the title, and the way she won both the semi final and final matches (6-2, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2) isn't anything short of a very bold statement that she's back! She just needed a bit of break.

Is it that Chelshit can't keep their nose clean or they just had to concede that one goal so as to just spite me ?? They sure started like a team would lose the game after that goal, but then they didn't.

Anyways what is the news concerning F1 race starting position ? Or should I just give up already Huh  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

That goal was on cucurella, and he could have done better to cover up the space, but our back set up is awkward. Who would have guessed Chelsea would come back from a one-nil deficit to score four goals? I honestly can't recall the last time this happened.

That Burnley goal screwed is all.

With Cryptofka ahead with 4 points and 3 questions to go, it's reasonable to guess he'll take home the cup unless he gets zero and some of us get 2 or 3 questions right from the remaining games to force a PK shootouts

For Cryptofrka to be an undisputed winner he'd need Atletico Madrid to not win, or the F1 to end between 50-54. If neither happens he'd head to penalties with some other user.

He's got the biggest advantage right now, he's biggest challenge in my opinion would be Atletico Madrid, they likely might just win against Real Sociedad.

Yes, as expected; the moment I transferred Sterling out, he becomes the star performer for Chelsea for that week. 1 goal and 2 assists so far with the possibility of 3 bonus points (he's currently leading the bonus system for the Burnley game).

I had a feeling he would deliver today but that's because I already took him out.
At this point Chelsea and Manchester United are not so far apart from each other when it comes to performance, you get to pick the best players of these teams and your team blanks  terribly and when you decide to move them out of your team they produce big results...
Just take a look, old time favourite Jackson was equally on the scoresheet after several blanks and today came through.

Nobody was expecting Scott Mctominay and Harry Maguire to be the only united assets to return this week to be fair.

But this Chelsea game is a huge trap. Do not buy any of their players unless you want to be disappointed next week. Especially not Sterling. (And no playing mind games here @Igeboltz  Grin)

And a bloody own goal had to ruin my Bernd Leno clean sheet, hadn't it?   Angry At least my Spurs assets did not disappoint.

I don't think anyone would be naive enough to fall for this Chelsea's obvious glitch against one of the worse teams in the league, Chelsea still lack composure and the players seemingly don't even know their roles on the pitch and are often looking confused during play, and it's not getting any better because one can't also predict what, how and who Pochettino actually want in this team, I didn't know that Cole Palmer is the new PK taker, or is it just a one time because if not, that should mean more playing time is intended for Palmer right ? If that is the case, then Palmer is the player I'd likely consider getting first from Chelsea ahead of any other outfield player.

Team a Tottenham pick for captain let us gather here for and let's take a bow  Sad

Yves Bissouma reckless and extremely unnecessary antics earned him his second yellow card and Tottenham are to forced to play the rest of the game with 10 men.

Fortunately for them Tottenham are able to score less than 10 minutes back into the game, but you can't a big spoil of attacking return especially for Son captaincy, but Maddison with an assist already will be a good point earned and could make him potential bonus point candidate for sure.

The first wildcard is for the first 19 games or until Christmas?

The first 19 games, but literally you have until the deadline of game week 20 to make use of it.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: October 07, 2023, 08:29:41 AM
No, no... If we can have wild sports in the BSFL, then it's fair that we have questions about national teams. Trofo or cryptofrka, can you confirm that there will be or won't be questions next week? Some of us want to organize friendly matches to earn this friendly tournament fee back Grin
There will not be any matches next week Smiley Friendly time has passed and now it is time for mandatory one week quarantine before season 3 starts. Use that time to invite some people to join if you have somebody that could be interested. Season 3 will last a bit longer and now is the time to join or leave competition.

We need to use that week to push out all the info about rewards, promotions, cup.... Who knows what else I am forgetting. Season 3 should be live 15.10 with questions for round 1.

That's actually better in my opinion too, I'd rather not start a new season during an international break, it's better to do so during a more unpredictable week after the break and you can take a positive excuse for starting the new season poorly.

The only con is that some players like Buwaytress would need to be sent postal mails so as not to forget their picks. Cheesy

It is really much more comfortable to create a squad without Haaland. For now my squad is like this. However I could change many things in my squad until tomorrow. It left me with impression of Hojlund's performance against Galatasaray can be effective in the league as well. Klopp's subbing off Darwin in the Europa League match to preserve him made me think that he would give him a chance in the starting eleven as well this week.

If this is your team and you are likely to still make drastic changes or player return into the team I hope you didn't save the new changes because the players you're trading out will be at lower prices and if you're getting any of them back you'll be paying the new price, meaning you could go even as far as 1m+ short from your initial budget in the process wild carding if you didn't make a final decision and keep reverting or bring a new player for another that you've had before.

There is an international break after this game week, you don't know what players will get injured coming back from the break meanwhile Saka, Stones and Gusto are all going to be back from their respective injuries and suspension after the break, and as expected regular starters, the rallying towards them would likely be back.

I can agree for Saka and Stones, have my sight set on Stones actually when he gets back and if he gets back his DM role. But why would you include Gusto in there? Surely, James has that RB spot firmly in his pocket and he is back from injury as well. Granted he is very injury prone and I feel like we will have Gusto back sooner or later but not that soon.

Gusto price is the major reason why I feel he could be an important have, Gusto is still at 4.2m and for Reece James looking at the number of setbacks he's consistently had over time might make him not an aggressive attacking option for Poch for the time being imo.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: October 06, 2023, 08:34:07 PM
Holding Sterling for another GW then Sterling to Palmer looks good if Poch keep him at the No.10 position behind the ST.

Yup, thinking about Palmer as well - but really dislike picking anybody from Chelsea. They will need to wake up at some point throughout the season though.

I really like Neto as a cheap pick, but don't know who to sacrifice from my strong midfield. Rashford is an easy choice obviously, but United really has a run of easy games coming.

Your Chelsea choice is it based on our current form or based on fan rivalry?  Grin

You should be concerned about your team since you have four depreciating assets, and if you do not manage your cash now, your team will struggle to get the right players. Remember that the richer your team is, the bigger your advantage.  Gusto, Estu, Saka, and Stones are all unavailable and decreasing in price. Only wildcard can now save your ass.

I think the damage is done already, even with wildcard he'd be buying into an expensive phase, the players he has have gone through their worse phase selling them now is pointless if he's going to be bringing them back into his fold soon. There is an international break after this game week, you don't know what players will get injured coming back from the break meanwhile Saka, Stones and Gusto are all going to be back from their respective injuries and suspension after the break, and as expected regular starters, the rallying towards them would likely be back.

I'm not even tracking tennis. Considering it's H2H against 9 other people, that one is unwinnable Grin

I like my chances with Sociedad though, especially considering that I'm the only one that went against Atletico.
I also strongly feel F1 won't be 55 or more.

The Red Bull team scored 43 points in today's practice race.If both Max and Perez maintain the same level of energy in the sprint race, a score of 55 or higher is feasible.

Trofo- We both have the same answer to the Tennis h2h question, therefore your only chance of getting a draw is if the F1 question favours you, as the rest of our remaining questions are the same.  LFC Bitcoin, Harkorede, and Cryptofka presently top the friendly cup with three points each.

I've not even been following the friendly cup, I never fancied my chances against 9 opponents knowing how much of marginal and safe answers I think I settled for.

But it seems you just never know, maybe I can fancy my chances now, but I'll be needing at least 3 of the next 4 questions to go my way because that seems to be the biggest questions of the most varying answers, that should put me in a goal spot.

Maybe I'll just place a local Sportsbook bet on the next four options to keep proper track of the result, because Binance has been very shitty responsively with an I have for over a few weeks now, so placing crypto bets have been somewhat off the table for me for a while now.

I just hope I'm not asking too much of Chelsea for a clean sheet win against a poor Burnley side, Red Bull F1 for less than 45 (this will be the most significant point for me as no one else does have this) and Man City with more goals than Loserpool... Than doesn't look so hard, does it ?!

Hoping Liverpool put officiating incompetence behind us this weekend and see a vengeful performance with a win against Brighton. I like what I see so far and an incompetent/corrupt bunch of officials in the Spurs game will not change that. The Red Men are going nowhere, I expect a win on the road at Brighton.

Elsewhere, the Arsenal vs Man City game should be a cracker. Hopefully we’ll see lots of goals, a draw would work out nicely for my team.

Arsenal vs Man City should be a game to look forward to, I just don't know if that will a be more interesting game compared to Brighton vs Liverpool, however, both games being played at different time after each other gives a bit more to look forward to in one or the other.

Heard Saka is supposedly in contention to be available, I don't know how true the news is but that'd be good news for Arsenal if fully fit, even though it was Mikel Arteta extreme form of carelessness and Ignorance that put him in this current situation.

Also looking forward to the Arsenal - City game, City will struggle against Arsenal's press without KDB. I'm probably gonna bet on Arsenal winning this one.

No game is currently being easy for City but without KDB they've been excellent still with Foden and Alvarez doing magnificent job with the chances creation, Man City biggest worry here might be Rodrigo, he's been a bigger blow to Man City imo.

Man, Jota just sealed the game. That took some sorting out but I do rate these Belgian teams anyway... but really, damn you Marseille. Or is it damn you Brighton? LTU_btc in the lead...

It's stupid Brighton in my opinion going down bad within that short time, and could finish their come back!!

They should have completed the damn come back or just get the f**k off ??! 11 Idiots!

Very terrible, He will use up my free transfer this week.

That's if he doesn't further drop significantly in prize before that and mess up your incoming intended transfer, I personally would have gone Trippier, but then Trippier already increased from the initial 6.7 to 6.8, and I think the hype or the form might be temporary so I'll just stick to budget for now and avoid unnecessary tinkering that'd end up costing me to take more points hit.

Damn, not so bad for me in the 2nd pool though, I just see I'm 4th on the leaderboard, meanwhile in SuperBRU even with an electron microscope, I'm still pretty much not visible  Huh
But It's still just matchday two, I believe it will equally be tougher to climb up the rank here when you supposedly have a lead the need to get conservative sets in, and 10 points in any match day will be almost enough to keep your pace alive.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2023, 09:59:07 PM
I thought i'll only get one or two points in the last six matches and then the late goals came in for Lazio and Man City giving me six points for both exact score.  Wink

I gained a lot of ranks in the Superbru leaderboard but not so much in the odds-based leaderboard.  Tongue I learned my lesson after trusting PSV too much to get the win at home and underestimating Sevilla to show up on the road.

I also have my own biggest mistake too, that's trusting PSG to win the battles of European Biggest Idiots, Newcastle looked literally like a team from the England National Division against AC Milan, and I felt such team can easily get preyed upon by PSG managed by clueless Jose Enrique.

I've not seen a utterly disgusting match, that's from my choice perspective though, but if I didn't have any sort of alliances, I'd have enjoyed the match.
976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2023, 08:45:00 PM
Alvarez and Doku rested for City so I guess they are starting next week. Newcastle playing everything they got and having a lead against PSG. Good work so far but I feel like they will burn out around New Year.

Not with Dan Burn at defence, it will take more than the new year to get this team burnout, they probably one of the best 3 squad depth in the league so except Eddie Howe can't manage the team properly they'll should do just fine to hang around, the form might that's for sure, just looking at their squad depth, if they're doing this okay with their best players from last season not even participating at their fullest yet, a healthy Newcastle side will be a force to reckon.

For me it looks a bit strange that Antwerp is so clearly favoured against Shakhtar, I don't see their advantage. Especially considering their recent performance - 3 0:0 games in a row in Belgian league and getting completely destroyed by Barca few weeks ago.

I'm glad to have had my stake on Shakhtar Donetsk but not all, I have the rest on PSG, however 6 points almost 4 Odds is enough for right now, especially with how the win came about, Shakhtar being 2 goals down at halftime and 3-2 up, but still conceded a penalty with what would have been the last kick of the game, thankfully Toby Alderweireld couldn't convert the chance.

I hate to say we might have to start playing catch up from the next round, well this is going to be fun, I just need to go all in against Barcelona or Man City the rest of the game week, I might get lucky on a 20+ points, I guess the pace and the bar have been raised high by some gutsy and lucky snows.

United lost to Galatasaray. Erik ten Hag's sacking must be imminent. I've never seen Manchester United play so badly, especially after selling Fred to Fenerbahce, and I'd say there's been a general lack of performance from them. If I'm not mistaken, I've staked heavily on Manchester United and Arsenal, but with both of them losing, it looks like I won't get many points this week.

That’s some tough luck man! I mean Arsenal having the lead, and Man United having the as well, not just once, but twice and both teams lost the game, I had the intention of going all in on Arsenal prior but having watched Arteta gave Saka no rest against Bournemouth made me change my decision totally and would rather lose it all on upsets than a ~1.6 Odds favorite that I can’t vouch for.

Most of the players are lowballing with their stakes on Real Madrid, there are only another player aside of me that put all 10 point on Real Madrid to win. Well If Madrid win today, its going to pay off for me because I didnt get any point last round. Another 40 minutes to go, this is pretty thrilling and its like Im betting with my entire fortune lol

Looks like a bet that will pay off eventually, Real Madrid have taken the lead yet again, and we are heading into the final minutes of the game now, but it's going to be an intensive final minutes.

Every single game today have its twists and turns absolutely today, Man Utd, Bayern Munich and Arsenal, every single game have been intensive and often unpredictable as well.
