Today it houses a museum with a permanent exhibition called "fascination and terror" which documents the Nazis' rise to power from their humble beginnings in the early 20s to the brink of WWII. A visit to this museum is mandatory to all German school children and all German soldiers. Because the Germans understand full well that to fight ideologies such as Nazism, it is vital to combat historical illiteracy which is fucking rampant in this goddamn thread!
Eh, before you go casting stones, you might want to consider that... 1) In the U.S. exactly *no one* is mandated to travel to Gettysburg PA (or elsewhere) to get an education about our nation's true history with slavery and racism. and 2) Look at which group in the U.S. has gone around tearing down historical statues and monuments around the country... talk about historical illiteracy and suppression! (*hint* it's not the conservatives doing it)You can always change your vaccine status. To the Nazis, you could never stop being a Jew. I can't believe I have to explain this.
I guess you missed the whole point in a jaw-dropping, "I can't believe what I just read" way. There are millions of people worldwide that would rather die or be jailed than be forced by the govt to get an unsafe/dangerous vaccine (which has been proven by science data and the CDC's own admission btw) they don't want and didn't ask for. They are not going to give in to govt or societal coercion. Ever. They are not going to "change". Do you get it now? I can't believe I have to explain this to you. I swear, it's not the historical illiteracy in this WO thread that's the problem....it is the fkn off-the-richter-scale level of hypocrisy.

But in all this to me the United States is the interesting one. The left screamed and jumped at the Orange Man Bad thing because he was just like Hitler. Now they are left with a federal government that seems more like the thing they claimed they were worried about, rather than one that will let liberty prosper.
For a relative young country built on freedom I find that truly astonishing.
Luckily we still have a country (for now anyway) with States that have local laws, and governors that can override certain federal bullshit. Or at least challenge them and fire off lawsuits to sue the federal govt over constitutionality and civil rights. The trick is finding the right state in which to live.

I'm sure there's just "a spinning of semantics" going on with the FDA's request about Pfizer's vaccine data. Nothing to see here. I seem to remember my spinning of semantics comment applying to both sides of the aisle so get off you biased high horse. You're correct in that there are only two sides of the aisle: either you take the red pill and see this Great Plandemic Con Job for what it is, or you keep taking the blue pills and remain blissfully ignorant of it all. All I can say is, the truth is coming out, and history will not look back and smile fondly on what is happening right now. It's the McCarthyism "Red Scare" all over again. And personally, I will hold everyone that tried to strong arm, ridicule, condescend, and villainize anti-vaxxers responsible for their insane bullshit. There will be no quarter and no fks given. I'm sure when they finally all wake up from their mass delusion, they will suddenly have "selective amnesia" concerning their prior attitudes and actions.

There are some bitcoiners who have been into bitcoin for a decently long period of time and they hardly know shit about bitcoin It's much more worrying people who have been into fiat money their entire life (which is almost anyone) can't explain "money" either. Ask the average person what money is, and they have no idea. Ask them where it comes from, where the money for their mortgage comes from, and ask if they have any idea how much money goes around in the global foreign exchange market. People have no idea how it really works, and that makes them sleep at night. “It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” Also ask the average person if paying off their 30 year mortgage to own their home *depends entirely* on them 1) being employed with no major gaps, and 2) their salary rising for 30 straight years to at least keep up with real inflation. When they answer "yes", ask them what happens when #1 and #2 are no longer viable moving forward. Then watch them no longer sleep well at night.

<Posting a bunch of jaw-dropping insanity>
I can't believe what I just read. Your country has lost its fkn mind and you need to get out before things get worse. https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/17/world/coronavirus-newsletter-intl-17-11-21/index.htmlOh and look, the definition of "fully vaccinated" is changing once again. What a surprised that they keep moving the goalposts. How long until the definition is revised to "boosters forever"?

Rugged again haha. What a shit coin. Are you suckers really going to hold through another crypto winter? The writing is on the wall, sell before it gets worse.
So far I'm up with every piece and every whole BTC I've ever bought. Think I will listen to my string of successes rather than to people without any evidence of success warning about potential failures. Subtle Brag... It is. But those I've told about BTC whilst it was still easy to become a whole coiner STILL maintain gold is a great hedge against inflation. Becoming a whole coiner is now probably out of reach for the majority of the population in the west, let alone outside of it. But meanwhile gas prices against fiat just rose 17% in ONE day..... The lying media in the west are still telling the sheep that it is all Putin's fault. And they are also suggesting inflation per annum is only 4-5-6% And the sheep believe them. Let them buy their rubbish gold. From here I'll be looking for a 10-100x BTC by 2030. I'll even be happy with a 2x to be honest. I doubt gold will even do that. I would gladly recommend to anyone that wants gold (for whatever reason) to instead buy bitcoin now and hold. You can buy all the gold you want much cheaper later on with your long term btc gains.

Never leave the house? Stuck at home? You mean house arrest? Isn't that a form of punishment? Get rid of the cellphone and get some fresh air and meet some real people... face-to-face. What's the point of being Bitcoin-retired if you can't enjoy it? It was meant as a sarcastic joke. I agree with you wholeheartedly and still get out quite frequently...which btw is precisely why I moved to a U.S. state that still has civil liberties/freedoms intact. Unlike Commiefornia, or Australia. How's the lakefront property coming along Jimbo?

jbreher and I have some common non-BTC interests, and communicate outside of WO occasionally. I told him he had been mentioned somewhere in a "what happened to OG people" discussion.
He says to tell you all hello, we are still in the early stages, and "This is Gentlemen".
Its actually quite touching to see this post getting several merits. If jbreher were to come back here and say "Hey guys, I was completely dead wrong about spending years in the WO thread shilling for BCash with zero good reasoning" then the post might get one of mine. Otherwise, nah...he can fk off.

I am sure that the powers that be will dream up some other attack vector on Bitcoin should they lose the Tether FUD angle. After all, it is human nature to be fearful and takes years of experience before being able to see it for what it is, an emotion. An emotion that with a little time and experience one realizes does not have a hold on you unless you let it have one.
So as long as young noobs keep joining the Bitcoin movement then there will always be an attack vector. Only when Bitcoin has become so widely adopted to be at around 90% saturation, will those attack vectors no longer be relevant.
The "attack vectors" on Bitcoin are already here. They're called shitcoins, NFTs, and DeFi scams. Every couple years there will be new dujour ones, and they will be constant, never ending. None of them will have staying power though, because Ponzi scams never have staying power for very long. The worst will be complete rug pulls. The establishment elite do not own 90%+ of Bitcoin so they can't willingly and publicly promote and pump it, and beyond the "deflationary/sound money/inflation hedge" narrative they view Bitcoin as a very boring commodity. They know that there is no real bear case for it. They will still fill their bags with bitcoin to hedge, albeit slowly, because they absolutely know its true value. But they will constantly assault the public with shiny new, short term shitcoin scams and cons every couple of years. All these will have exciting, next-big-crypto-thing "narratives" that the elites can spin in the media, as a way to facilitate pump and dump fads that they control and can profit from. You can still see this in the MSM's "promote every crypto BUT Bitcoin" message that they continue to this very day.
