So far this is going under what it is worth. At a minimum this is worth 1BTC + 1oz of silver!
I'm going to snipe it. Obviously.

I would be interested in the LOT; however, I would not be willing to pay/offer at retail individual rates.
If you come up with a realistic price, please let me know.

congrats and hopefully you sell out by then. in the event that you dont you could possibly have a trusted member here sell them for you, or you can sit on them for a year and come back im sure there will be a buildup of demand.
congrats and wish you well on your adventure.
You could ship the books to me (for example). You take orders and have me ship them off to the buyers. I am guessing that you will still have access to a computer and bitcoin while you're gone. Might be best if you could find someone in China to ship to the rest of the world since they have such very low shipping costs. Of course they might copy the book and sell for pennies.

Channel or forum? I believe this is the best forum for support. IRC channel #bitcoin or #bitcoin-otc would be a good live resource.
I have only ever needed to reload account to load up the transactions; however, you can also delete mycelium from the phone and then install / restore from your master seed. This takes some time, but also rescans and shows transactions.
There is no way to output a list from mycelium. You can export the public key and then use pycoin to generate the public keys for as many addresses as you want. And, if you don't have to many transactions, you could select to Sign Message with an address which gives you a list as well of the used addresses in order to sign the message.

Sorry. I thought everyone uses mycelium to track real coins. Thanks for the explanation.

How does this relate to Mycelium?

Some people didn't know about this thread until it (maybe) was too late.
I only received the email from the site at: Date: 2/24/2016 9:36:08 P.M. Pacific Standard Time
Which means, I was already 36 minutes too late in ordering.

Even though it is Casascius and I'm sure folks would get full proof and do an in-person trade, keep in mind that it's been a long time since his account was used regularly. Just a heads up.
He logs in often. Even up to two days ago. Plenty of time to respond to a thread from almost a month ago. Meh.

Making a counter offer to an offer is simply good business. I'm always open to opinions or suggestions. It will be interesting to see what the market is currently willing to pay for one of these, I might be way off base. Yes, I am sure it sold on the high end for the bar you know of. I agree that it's great business. I believe you will get what you want for the bar.

You purchased them? Several unfunded bars have sold for around 5 BTC. I don't think that's an unreasonable premium for a 1 of 8 Casascius. The most recent public sale is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1171146.0 that sold in less than two days for 5 BTC. around 5 BTC != 5 BTCSaying something was sold doesn't mean he got 5BTC. Also, 5BTC less than 2 months ago would have been on target with my offer, but the BTC price has gone up since then. Issue is you are comparing cash sale vs bitcoin sales now. If you want 5BTC, then stick to your guns and get it. Asking for 5BTC and then entertaining an offer of 3.5 is confusing. I was offering cash like everyone else, but if BTC, I would have offered more. (Not as much as mindtrip did though.) I hope you get what you want.

They did not sell for $1699.
Good luck. I'm out.

Have there been other sales recently?? I know there were 2 on ebay a while back, but I do not think they sold. They were priced around $2000. Yes, about 2+ months ago. The ones on ebay were $1500 and $1600. They did not sell on ebay. Seller did sell them privately, but don't know the amount, and I did offer significantly less. (The confusion people have is ebay drones might actually think they are funded and overbid.) I don't understand, why would it be sold 2k$? What is the point of buying that at such a price? There isn't a point. It's just a high priced piggy bank in which you might as well get a bearer bar since these say 100BTC on them. You wouldn't want to put more or less since it indicates 100BTC, although I doubt anyone would even put any coins into it. So, it's a piggy bank that no one would actually use. I concur with Michail but offer 900 I would up my offer, but honestly, that is what I offered on the ebay coins. So, without this being an auction and can't see the bar yet, I will not offer more. thinking of putting a price on it, but wondering why the price bidding is lower than a bought "void" .5BTC brass coin....just dont know how to value this with not many sales.
watching for now
More void coins made than bars. People like coins better since they can be graded (encased). No one really wants an unfunded 100BTC bar since they nearly have to put 100BTC in it to be called funded. Many reasons. VOID coins were made public and fewer people know about the bars. Problem with pricing on the bars is that only one person got them so no real public sales. One buyer having all of one thing means they are pretty much worthless and priceless. He is/was smart to sell off to various people as it puts value into as being obtainable. Various other reasons.

$775 (Just to get in on the thread)
Of course this isn't firm and I want to see actual pictures. I am not interested if removed from plastic, fingerprints, scratches, dings, and obviously if the sticker is removed.

I'll vouch for that user.

You have it now, or he actually responded to you? (I didn't get a reply.) Sad.

Big difference between Blazed's coin, and the examples with public keys not lining up to hologram windows, IMO. With the holo window, you know thats how they left Mike. Its not possible to be 100% for the series 1 coin.
Agreed. Most of mine are S1, and I have seen it; however, it can't be listed as an error since anyway can simply erase a character. ANACS will list the full public key on the slab, even if the full key isnt visible, if you can show them that the full key can be uniquely inferred .... ie you can see 7 of 8 characters, and even with just those 7, using a search on uberbills (or the casascius fulllist.txt), the full public key is the only one with those first 7.
It takes an emailed explanation to ANACS (and I include a print out of that email with the physical shipment) detailing all of the above. Hopefully they will then print all 8 chars on there. I have also managed to get them to do a reslab of a coin like this very recently (first came back with 7 chars, then reslabbed with 8, following explanation given).
In my experience, this is not correct and may have been an exception for you. I specifically provide a printed and emailed list each time I submit coins. The list shows full information (prefix, public key, funding day, year, demon, etc) including what I want said on the case. Each time I get my coins, they still do it slightly diff. I have even had to send coins back to have them re-case cause I wanted it to say GILT instead of Gold Trim. They were also saying "with 'Casacius'" instead of the serial/prefix. I know they use my printed list or at least look at it, because they check off each coin (not simply make (for example) 10 checks for 10 coins, but 1 at a time because the checks were diff orientation, etc). I guess nothing is perfect.

Oooh. Obviously, Mike is acting as escrow for his friend's family for the bar. Buyer pays Mike, he ships the bar. Mike pays family in USD.
That would be fine with me. Gotta get an update from Mike though. Might even be sold by now.
