The point is my husband doesn't know that i have been secretly gambling and involving myself with gambling discussions and the rest, So, this morning when i woke something in me keeps telling me i should let him know to understand my involvement to practice gambling.
Does this worth telling him or not please i need you collective ideas.
Just weird though on how you can keep this secret to your husband, or anyone here who live a double life. Not saying that it is bad, but you have to ask yourself, what if you husband find it out? What do you think is his reaction? Do you think that he will understand you hiding behind you gambling? Again, maybe want you list is just an excuse for you to continue to gamble as for sure we have gone to that kind of experience before and we told that we have control our gambling but the truth is, it's very hard. In any case, just to be open with him, I will rather tell him straight in the face and see what will be the reaction. And hopefully there is no violent reaction whatsoever and maybe the next best thing he will do is to request that you stop gambling.

Let's discuss long-term profitable gambling strategies, as well as the elements of such strategies. It is not even necessary to back it up with winning statistics (although no one will mind). It is enough to write that “I think that this strategy is profitable in such and such a game or in such and such a form of gambling.” Elements of profitable strategies are also quite interesting for discussion. I know that for long-term profitability, risk management is of course much more important. However, what is equally important is what leads to profit in addition to risk management. If your profitable strategy is of a proprietary nature, if it is secret and you do not want to write about it, then you can limit yourself to general reasoning. I think that this discussion will be useful for everyone and perhaps it will prompt some of their own promising ideas.
It's either a hit or miss, simply as that as there are no profitable strategies for the long term. It's always gonna be short term successes in gambling. And with that, a winning strategy today is not an assurance that it will work on the same day. But I do agree that you need to have some kind of risk management, at least to minimized your losses when your strategy is not working as it should be (or as designed by you). Maybe someone can share their profitable strategy and not gate keep it, but then again, there is no guarantee. So for me just play whatever strategy or method you like but you should think that if it is not working then either stop or change it.

We could all notice that archieved ATHs after a particular Halving surpasses their previous ATH and normally, the long overview chart for the whole BTC price movement is an uptrend..
My question This Pattern, will it forever return true for every Halving or there could be a possibility of the New ATH not surpassing the successive previous ATH.
Well if the pattern holds true, then we can say that it will be always like that? Remember that every 4 years we have this halving and this is the catalyst. So for me this will continue and I don't think that it's going to break unless there is a drastic change in Bitcoin economy. So 2024-2025 will still be a bull run, it's just a question on what will be our new all time high. Prediction is that it will be in 6 digits. And as high as $180,000 - $220,000, but we will have to see. So exciting times ahead for being a Bitcoin enthusiast as this is what we all have been waiting for, block halving - > bull run - ? new all time high.

I like this way. but defeat is still defeat. whatever strategy we usually lose in gambling is a losing streak that is not good to continue. If we win, it's usually a streak. I think we have to know when to stop when we lose, don't let the profit or capital run out because we know that we have lost several times and are still continuing. so does victory. take a reasonable win so that we can enjoy the win without returning to the gambling site.
Who wouldn't like it? The thing is that any strategy in gambling is going or not or not at all. And also don't forget to add the element of luck in this strategy and the bankroll as well. If you are lucky then you can have that streak and maybe not used this strategy anymore. But if you are unlucky then you might want to try this out, but as I have said, bankroll is the key because of you don't have big money, then you can't recover and recoup as this is the main purpose of this strategy, get back and win all what you have lost by doubling every time.

BTC is also more stable and has more value than other cryptos, because it is the first among others and has a rather steadier market value of which competes with dollar and gold currently in the market of foreign exchange.
Bitcoin has more value than other cryptocurrencies because it offers for value. It's decentralized and secure, two features you will not find on almost all altcoins. Bitcoin is not competing with either dollar or gold. Yeah, it's the first and what we call prime mover, and it's a bit controversial to say the least, as the founder and creator disappeared and so early adopters either become curious or just sold their Bitcoins because they don't believed at it anymore since Satoshi is gone. It's not competing with gold, but they are being compared as Bitcoin is being called "digital gold". And as the title suggest, it's basic facts and I think majority here is already familiar with what the OP has posted.

Another weird thing is that he will put everything on the line here? I thought that Nery is only mandatory for his WBC belt. But it seems that other governing bodies as well has given the go signal in this fight to have their belts also put in the line.
Nevertheless, we haven't seen anyone had the blue print to beat Inoue, not even the best 3 fighters in this division, including Casimero and Akhmadaliev. And so I don't see Nery pulling a upset and again, this fight might not get over 10 rounds. I'm seeing the over and under at 7.5 rounds. ML? Nah, it's not going to be appealing to us, could be per rounds but it's going to be hard to predict which round is Nery going to be knockout or stop by Inoue.

I do agree but it's boxing politics that really prevented us seeing big names like Bivol vs Beterbiev. Callum Smith might be a decent fighter, but he could still be the next victim of Beterbiev's power. But in any case, if this is a cherry pick fight, then so be it. However, if he wins here, I do hope that Top Rank will have to schedule their man Beterbiev vs Bivol.
There's no way that they can avoid each other, they are the only 2 champions in this division. And with the way fighters are reaching in this generation, they are going at a unification like Inoue, Crawford and Canelo at 168 lbs.
It's not just boxing politics but also global politics. The WBC banned Russian athletes from competing for their title. They have stated that Bivol is not eligible to fight for their belt, although for some reason Beterbiev is still allowed. Other sanctioning organizations have implemented a similarly stupid rule. https://www.badlefthook.com/2022/3/1/22956803/wbc-wbo-ibf-refuse-certify-title-fights-russian-belarusian-fighters-boxing-news-2022Now that Saudia Arabia seems willing to offer a lot of money to make it happen, perhaps the organizations will do what's best for the sport even if they do it for entirely selfish reasons. And with that, maybe we can say that it's good that Saudi Arabia has entered the picture in the last couple of years and hosting fights early on and then they going bolder and bolder with that big money they have. Governing bodies have no choice then, and who will deny if the oil money is going to roll into our direction. It used to be football with billions of sponsorship and player options. Now they turn into boxing so it's good for us in the next couple of years and maybe fights that we thought can't be made can easily be deal with their money in between.

We can also speculate on how much AJ and Ngannou are going to earn for this fight Does anyone knows the numbers? Definitely gonna be lower than Ngannou vs Tyson, but as the even is going to be in Saudi Arabia again, we might see some nice zeroes Btw funny how fighters negotiate for months and years about their opponents and paycheck, and now AJ fights in less than 3 months again. Ngannou has more time to prepare for it. Good question mate, so I did try to search for it, reports says that he earn $10 million in the Fury fight. But if you think that he will earn lower, you are wrong, Ngannou's reputation in boxing is growing, leading to expectations of a $20 million pay-day for his fight with Anthony Joshua, not including pay-per-view sales and sponsorships. Anthony Joshua is also expecting a significant pay-day, with rumours suggesting he may demand the same $50 million that Fury earned for his fight with Ngannou. Both fighters' earnings are expected to match the magnitude of the occasion. https://www.givemesport.com/anthony-joshua-vs-francis-ngannou-estimated-fight-purses/So Ngannou is the real winner here, after he goes to boxing, his 1st fight alone give him his biggest paycheck. And then we expect him getting more against AJ in the Middle East as the Saudi's is willing to shell out those oil money in boxing right now.

Dana White is getting desperate right now, and he looks more stupid with every new fight of Ngannou. Francis was so scared that he is now fighting with the biggest fighters in the world and he is doing it in boxing Against Tyson Fury I thought Francis didnt have a chance, but after I watched the last fight I think he can do even more against Anthony Joshua. I cant wait to see this fight, but even more I want him to see back in MMA. Joshua vs Ngannou wouldn't be any different from Fury Fight but i think Francis will win this time. AJ was not a big puncher when he was exposed by Ruiz. since this is happening in Saudi again then Francis will be pocketing millions again. His chances are high because of his power and we all know that AJ chin was broken already by Ruiz and exposed it and now AJ can't take punishment or getting hit in the chin by powerful punchers like in this case, Ngannou. Maybe AJ will try to run and cover, but if this fight goes to distance, he might not have that stamina just like in the Usyk fight wherein we see him getting tired in the championship rounds and Usyk stealing that important rounds. But if Ngannou like in the Fury fight, hit AJ early, this fight might not go to distance. He will certainly respect the power of Ngannou since he already witness what he can do. This will be tough for Ngannou to be honest, so I hope we won't get too hype with his 2nd fight in boxing after his impressive performance, because if Fury didn't make it serious, then I would say that Ngannou is in big trouble here. AJ is also a knockout artist, but he cannot be too reskless as that has been his weakness in the fights that he losses, he shoulld learn from his mistake. I think we are already hype and on the bandwagon of Francis after that great performance against Fury. And even if he lost that fight, it gain him a great deal of boxing fans and so as underdog, he could get a huge money bet. I see this fight like AJ vs Andy Ruiz, that if AJ will not be careful, he will end up losing by KO.
Or even worst, Francis power is really raw and just like what you said, even if he is careful, if Francis can find that small opening like in the Fury fight and time Joshua and hit him when he is not expecting, Ngannou will win by KO.

Their is something I understand in this drama of bitcoin high transactions fees that we experienced now, but it's obvious that anytime bitcoin price is going up alot of people would like to exchange and make a profit because their mindset always being that the increment will not stay long and die off, so therefore the congestion is being that it follows the increment and some times is not caused by miners but many of us even hope that miners is the caused of unconfirmed bitcoin transaction or makes the congestion of bitcoin that warrant the high fee we experience.
I wouldn't call it a drama though, fees are supposedly low before this whole ordinal, BRC-20 exploit on the code and then causing the fees to go up that majority of us are complaining now. So before that, we can transact with at least 1 sat/vB. But then when someone see a loophole of the code itself and then advantage of it and think that he is doing good cause, everything was broken. Now it's on the 150's sat/vB again, in the last couple of days it did go down a bit, not much but manageable to some of us.

Although am quite certain about the bullish market season of 2024, just after the halving expected to happen, it is to note that altcoins and shitcoins have been dumping hard recently and every one investing in them should be careful not to make serious losses.
What does altcoin has something to do with the halving? they have been dumping hard because that's how it is, majority of them are being used as a pump and dump schemes. And if I'm not mistaken, pump and dump groups are still around and maybe their numbers are still growing up to this day. I am very certain about the bullish market season after the halving, and as such my advice to any true crypto/BTC investor who may become millionaires in the next 12-18 months, would be to hold tight and not let any short term corrections stop them or put them out of the market until the duration of their holdings is complete.
What are your thoughts?
Why not just go long for Bitcoin or even those strong altcoins and then see how it goes. I know that there are short term speculators, but it's not going to be for everyone as this game is full of emotions and so it's just better to accumulate as much as you can HODL and then don't speculate short term?

Take casino games for example especially jackpot casino games there is no way you can tell me that all of them are structured in such a way that they randomly always make money for the house if you ask me gambling is a fraud that has been used to trick people into believing that their choices matter it does not everyone that gambles is just there to make money for the casino unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about human nature 💔💔💔
It's what we call "house edge", thus, that's what you basically describe, and it varies game to game. Worst game that someone can play is slot machine, but it's the most popular games whether online or offline and this is where many people lost their money to begin with. However, if you are not that addict and play for some fun, it doesn't matter though, as it is also part of human nature as your put it in your argument. But if you are thinking to always make money when gambling? it's wrong mindset and we have discussed it here many times already. Just play what you can afford to lose and again, if you are lucky enough then you might win but it's not going to be like every time you are going to play.

Here is the video of the Ortiz vs Lawson, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaaSIvClFWcI don't know, but it seems that Tony Weeks has stop this fight early? What are your thoughts? Obviously, Ortiz has just started to get hot as he was out for the last 17 months and maybe getting a feel of it again. But Weeks for me stop it prematurely, Lawson is not hurt maybe he is but his legs is still there. There was a lot of controversy surrounding this fight because of the early stoppage. Tony Weeks has had some questionable moments before like when he allowed Andre Ward to low blow Sergey Kovalev multiple times which led to a TKO. He also stepped in too early when Rolly Romero was losing on the scorecards but he was gifted a stoppage win against Ismael Barroso. It can't be a coincidence that all these controversial stoppages always favor the A-side fighter. Was also shocked of the early stoppage but I think Tony Weeks did the right thing. Not sure of this but I have read somewhere that if a fighter won't retaliate on his opponent for six seconds then the referee has to step in and stop the fight. But in this case, I think Lawson was just busy defending and not seem to be hurt at any moment, that's where the controversy sets in. Ok, Tony Weeks has step up and says that he stop the fight because prior to the actual fight, Lawson has been cleared obviously and they get a second opinion and let the fight go as schedule (maybe they don't want another delay for Ortiz). “Another doctor was brought in and gave him the same examination and he tested negative for the aneurysm, so they cleared him to fight.”
The wild claim from the referee was denied by Eric Gomez of Golden Boy Boxing promotions. https://www.foxsports.com.au/boxing/boxing-referees-shocking-prefight-brain-aneurysm-claim-after-tszyu-rivals-win-rocks-boxing/news-story/bdb1c17960bfeae29761d4a9e12ba926So perhaps he just want to promote the boxer and who knows who are telling the truth. But at least he take precautions, however this will not sit with the fans and organizations for sure.

As much as I want to promote Bitcoin on social media with my friends, I take care of myself because of the cases about $5 wrench attacks. It's okay to promote it to your actual friends but sometimes, you need to put boundary on whom you're going to tell it because you don't know some of the friends on your social media have been tracking your move and might go against you and will come by to take your Bitcoin. Take it for these examples: It's all evolving, I mean in the beginning , nobody wants bitcoin and I think everything started in 2017 when we have a bullish run up to almost $20k and everyone though, hmm, we can make money out of it. And so criminals whether online or offline has a field day hunting those bitcoin enthusiast, rob them or their hard earn Bitcoin. That's why it's no longer to talk about Bitcoin in public to non-coiners as someone might be eaves dropping and then will follow you at home and uses that $5 wrench attack as we are now in their radar.

Or Mayweather will not pursue it. If they fight I do hope they'll fight their might considering many has been awaiting this for years already especially when they haven't retired from the boxing yet and for sure the excitement was still there but most was really into the intensity of the match and for sure if they fight again it wouldn't be there considering it's just an exhibition.
Still going to be for fun and entertainment as Mayweather is not willing to put his boxing records in the line. So he will pursue this for the money obvious as others have said. But for fans, we can still some excitement in this fight as we wanted to see a rematch that never happen and this is the closest that we might see them again in the ring although it might not be competitive if this is a professional fight and maybe there is a championship belt in the line. As for the clinch and dodge style of Mayweather, we are already used to that kind of fight from him. Others might argue that it's a effective method for him and no one has crack the riddle of his defense, his Philly defense and then his counter punching.

I can only feel it will cause volatility in the short term before the news and after the news, but in the long term we still have many other things to see about the possibility of all acceptance of bitcoin. The SEC may exert their power, but they are not the sole controllers and given the nature of bitcoin it is here to stay. I remember the "Tulip Syndrome" that was gradually forgotten when we had to be realistic that with bitcoin it was in a completely different state, and the comparison no longer applies much to that.
To be honest, I don't think that Bitcoin can even be compare to the Tulip Mania before. It was really a bubble and so just matter of time before it will blew up and bubble being burst. This market's scale is still too small, those who come early always keep their opportunities and also take risks, but anyway, as someone who has absolute faith in bitcoin, I expect there will be more and more large organizations pay more attention to bitcoin.
I think it's big enough to accommodate institutional money and retail investors. And I don't think that someone can manipulate the price before or even the approval of Spot Bitcoin ETF. Investors are too much for that right now, we will call it when we see that there are entities from behind trying to control the market. And I do think that the market is going to mature once we see the first Bitcoin ETF approval regardless of who is is going to be.

And it's all promotion for Casimero to call Inoue, and I think we will not be tired of at least waiting for this fight to happen. Or at least at some point in the future, when Casimero is still at least in his peak, this fight should be made. For sure there will be enough money to generate here specially if the fight is going to be in the US.
Casimero though is not getting any younger, he is in his mid 30's if I'm not mistaken and maybe just one fight we might see him on a decline. But Inoue has other targets, Neri first before Casimero and others can get their chances against the Monster this year.
That is why many are pushing this fight and mostly the promoters are reassuring that this fight will take fruition, for sure John Riel Casimero is really excited he really wants to fight Naoya Inoue for sure, well, even though Casimero doesn't do much against Naoya Inoue's training partner for sure what a boxer know that he can really defeat Inoue then in his mind he really can defeat him, for sure Casimero is really confident that he will win this, and for sure he got a solid trust in him, so why not make this fight happen, As fans we can also push this fight as much as we want, still up to the promoters to sit down and talk and if this fight make sense specially if there is huge money in the table for everyone and they are satisfied, then it can be made. Nevertheless, as I have said, Neri will get the first dibs, or we might see Casimero going against rank fighters first because he will have his chance against Inoue. So there's still opportunity for us fans to see this fight, if not this year, then we will have to wait.

I have come across Local gamblers who are addicted to gambling and had ruined their selves by themselves til they ran bankrupt yet they borrows money to gamble at all means even While being indebted.
I think it's no secret that if you are out of control of your gambling habits and you don't have the means to pay the people that you loan for, obviously as some point in time when the people that you borrowed money from are your relatives, your relationships will be affected if you don't pay them on time. So it may haunt you for the rest of your life if you don't pay them. Or at least decide when to quit and stop gambling for good. Maybe some of us have been in this kind of situation before, and maybe we did get out of our addiction and mend our relationships with our family members. But there could still be knee deep with debts and loans from their gambling addiction and can't get out.
