1321  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com -- Your Trusted Bitcoin Gambling Wallet (Upgraded Speeds!) on: July 12, 2016, 10:03:56 PM
I have to say i don't like this so long maintence mode moneypot is having now. I am testing their investment option, see how much i can earn a day and such with some small deposits with the idea to go more aggressive soon. This period of maintence where i can't access my funds are not good at all.

At least i see some movment from moneypot side on this thread, i also sent an email before to their support asking some API question and never got a response back, it was not an important question but there was no response, i can't imagine to have a big investment on this site while they go into maintence mode for this long periods of time ...

hope it gets fixed but unfortunatly moneypot is going down on my investment site list as more hours without service pass.

MP is currently dealing with a 25GB+ DB, plus a full move from one server to another where there's a lot more control (old method could only do a DB dump and import, which is highly inefficient, at best). This is why it's going through the longer than normal maintenance period. This is also a MAJOR upgrade to the network/infrastructure. So it's not just a small update. MP is making huge strides forward, and you're more than welcome to join us on the journey!
1322  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for investors on: July 12, 2016, 06:43:22 AM
Hey all you readers! Cyber has been very up-front about things so far. I started discussing this whole thing with him days ago, and so far he's shown a lot of dedication and knowledge in regards to this space. I'm actually working with him on a side project atm and we'll see how it goes, but he's shown that he knows the area and has a plan to set into motion already. I'm looking forward to seeing him grow (and growing with him)!
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 11, 2016, 08:34:56 PM
so acoinllc owns it. how much have you earned from moneypot every month if you have invested to them?
if they only require 0.01 btc like bitvest, i may also try them just to compare both and may invest more later.

Just for clarity, Acoin is one of the owners.  There are others and we use a democratic process that involves the votes of multiple majority to pass any decision on.

Speaking personally, I believe a lot of the feedback swapped between Acoin and the other members are due to personal conflicts and that Moneypot should be viewed entirely separate from these actions and comments as they are not related.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, I will be happy to answer them all in public or in private.

Thanks.

I second Doge's statement.

And to answer the profit side, it's up 10% or so over the past month. Note, however, that this is in no way a guarantee of the future. That said, MP has been doing exceptionally well for months now.
1324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: July 11, 2016, 02:29:18 PM
Investment is the same as gambling, you still have a chance to lose, you must understand the risk Cheesy

actually they only look similar when in fact they are not at all the same. when you gamble you have no idea of the result so you can win or lose at all times but when you invest you can calculate the risks and make a wise investment that has a very tiny chance of going wrong.

also in gambling you lose all you put down but when you invest in case of a loss, you will only lose a small part of what you put down. and that is a huge distinction.

Investments are always long term. Gambling is short therm, you lose your money faster as you wish.

Uh, investments are NOT always long-term. I seriously wish non-investors would quit spouting BS when they have no idea what they're talking about.

Changes to affiliate system.

You now need to apply to be an affiliate and show that you have the potential to drive substantial traffic via a high traffic website/blog or social media accounts.

All existing affiliates remain active an your affiliate links still work and you will still earn profit from players you have referred.
Except in cases where a player referred themselves to bet and gain rakeback.

Dude, what a fyckn flying smelling fuck?
Dude,  do u know that the reason why most btc gamblers gamble is because of anonymity?
Why the fuck do you have to come publicly and igignorantly defeat that purpose by asking for disclosure of personal details?
Here is your referal terms""To become an affiliate you must have a high traffic website or social media profile. If you would like to be an affiliate email support by clicking the red help button below.""""
MOST FUVKED UP SHIT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN BTC GAMBLING

I see nothing wrong with this. His goal makes sense: everyone and their mother does self-referring on sites that allow (because why WOULDN'T you, when you get guaranteed rakeback?). He's trying to fight this by making sure those that can utilize the system are actually able to help drive traffic.
What has that got to do with the anonymity btc gambling is unique for

Don't join the affiliate program. Simple. If you make the choice to join it (therefore agreeing to the rules), that's on you. You make that decision, not someone else.
1326  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] EYTubE Earn satoshi! on: July 11, 2016, 04:07:56 AM
Update:
I will accept 25 active users for the time being this cap will be removed soon and it will now be 0.024 Peercoin Per Video)
Enjoy 30 short videos everyday 1 - 3 mins tops)
I will make my next set of videos 1 min each I did not actually make these videos for this reason.

Because it is not Altcoin section, you should post information how much in Bitcoin is 0.024 Peercoin. I'm sure that not many users can exchange that in memory. (or, at least tell us where we can check price of Peercoin)

1PPC is 65000 satoshi, so 0.024PPC is BTC0.00001500  Wink

Hey good/day all)
is that bad for 1 min each video?
my next set of videos will be 1 min each its because this set of videos were  not made for this reason
if not tell me a good amount that you think would be perfect and I will see how far I can increase your rewards))

I think 0.05 PPC would be good. As it is, it pays under $0.01 per video. Even sites like Swagbucks pay more than this and don't require nearly as much work.

Huh? I'm making plenty of sense for people who actually have experience in poker staking.

Are you from the U.S. and willing to sign a notarized contract to protect invested parties? How much are you looking to get staked for total, and how much of the pie does it equate to?

Is there any way to pull a private key from a wallet.dat file (unencrypted)? I was using the StakeBox and only took backups of the wallet file when it was already running. Apparently a couple weeks ago the wallet.dat file somehow got corrupted, so all backups and the main are all corrupt and the client can no longer read them. Really not sure what to do from here.

Have you tried using one of the corrupt wallet.dats on a windows install of the HYPER wallet? This method has recovered wallet.dats which were unrecoverable under linux, I have no idea why it worked.

Yeah, was under Windows when I realized the issue, Sad. Then I tried it on Linux again and it wasn't working there, either. I'll try an older version of the client and see if maybe that's it...

What's the cost for the server without colo, and what would colo be for the two years(to Dallas, since it's more central)?
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: July 10, 2016, 12:46:30 AM
and how much minimum investment there to get good profits?

Questions like this are stupid. Your earnings are directly proportional to how much you put in. If you put in 1 BTC, you make x. If you put in 2 BTC, you make 2x. If you do 0.5 BTC, you make 0.5x. This is like asking "how much money do I need to put in my bank account to get a good amount of interest?" x*percentageGained=yEarned.
1333  Economy / Gambling / Re: Funds in Escrow - Players Please Cashout on: July 09, 2016, 07:21:54 AM
Sorry to inform everyone but the room need to go down. Cashouts are being processed so please stop by and set your btc address of you havent already.  If your account is at the cashout limit of 300 bits or 0.3 in chips.

Awww, what happened?
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 09, 2016, 06:09:51 AM

They require only 0.01btc at most gambling sites that offer investments and with moneypot there is no minimum amount to invest.
As  soon as I deposited I went from 100% to 99% that stayed at 99% for a few days maybe 5 ? Then it went to 100% and I left it for some time and it was on 101% so finally a profit, I looked a few days after and I had 102% It still is 102% so its 2% in abour 3 weeks or so.

You must have invested RIGHT BEFORE someone won a lot, then. MP is currently up 18% over the past 30 days and up 3% over the past week alone.
1335  Economy / Gambling / Re: No Download Poker - 250% Deposit Bonus - Funds in Escrow on: July 08, 2016, 02:39:56 AM
250% deposit bonus for first time depositers

Your latest update affected balances. I went from 438 or so bits (0.438 mBTC) down to 0.1 mBTC after the update...

Looking into it. All players should have been moved to 1/1000 value as it has been expressed that is the easiest way for players  to use the 1 chip = 1 mbtc.

Confirming that the issue was fixed. Thanks, Smiley.

1337  Economy / Lending / Re: You cannot get a loan here? Move to getline.in on: July 08, 2016, 02:17:33 AM
Just a heads up. I managed to withdraw 0.001 btc from the bonuses I received from logging in daily. I noticed that the daily rewards are decreasing. It started from 0.0004 btc down to 0.0002 btc today.  Anyway, I wanted to invest but the listings I view are not changing. All were just the same loan listed from last week and I thought hey, the are provably not active. I hope you can do something to promote the site to bring life in it.

I've been logging in daily for days now. I got a bonus the first day and nothing ever since (I even invested in a user's listing on day 1, so I'm active).

Weird. It count daily login as "active" user.

Even more weird. I just checked and apparently within the last 2.5 hours I was given 2x as much as I got on the first day, lol. Not sure if that was manual, or it's bugged or something.

1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please teach me how to grow my bitcoin on: July 06, 2016, 07:32:13 PM
bitcoin is just like any other currencies. to grow it you need to trade it with other currencies with the role of buying low and selling high

Or invest. Investments pay off a LOT more with a LOT less risk if you aren't stupid.
