Another unfortunate cricket match between Pakistan and west indies today, match may be no results without completion due to heavy rain...

The match has been postponed by a day, because one of Indian player (Krunal Pandya) has tested positive for COVID-19. Few other Indian players will go through isolation who was in close contacts with him. Krunal Pandya had played the first T20 match. So most of the players was in touched with him. In my opinion, they should postponed this series now. There will be significant change in Indian squad if the match take place tomorrow. Krunal Pandya tests COVID-positive; second T20I postponed by a dayOnce again the question arises. How can someone get infected inside the bio-bubble? Lack of discipline seems to be a serious issue with the Asian teams. Recently we saw the example of Rishabh Pant, who went for the wimbledon match without wearing a mask. The final ODI between West Indies and Australia will be played in few hours from now. I am not sure which team will win this final battle as the batting of both the teams is uncertain and the one who played better will win the series. I would want to bet on this match. By looking at the history, betting on Australia may be somewhat safe. If it was a T20 i would have picked West Indies but in ODI they will only perform well once in a full moon against the top teams, so my bet is with Australia to win the match. I did not notice that the match already started. West Indies is struggling as they already lost 3 wickets for 47 runs and that too in 15 overs and one player is retired hurt, so it is more than enough to understand where the match is going  . West indies already lost 10 wickets collecting only a tiny collection 152 runs which very easy for Australian batsman. Australia already started their match and collect 15 runs in first over with losing one wicket. Time has come to drop Hardik Pandya. In the ODI series, he managed to score just 19 runs, and picked up just two wickets in two matches.
Agreed. He has been out of form for quite sometime now. He should be given more chances in the future though since he is a high quality finisher and picks up wickets now and then. But second t20 match which country would be winner please mention your comments.
I would be shocked if Sri Lanka actually manage to win the 2nd T-20 since some of the Indian batsmen actually under-performed in the 1st one. I don't think that will repeat in the 2nd one. Sri Lanka threw away golden opportunities in both the ODI and T-20 series basically so far. Actually India lost third odi match because Indian team given five batsman opportunity as a fresh batsman. If indian team management can't change their squad , they have to lost their match. |
