So let's assume that if a tree fell on a house and killed someone, and your "god" could have prevented it, does that make your "god" Evil? because he didn\t stop that tree?
Ok, lets ask that in the context of what the Bible says happens.

If a tree fell on a house and killed someone who has a sinful nature prone to evil, someone though who has peace with his Creator, and as a result enter into the present of this Creator with great joy and no longer battles with this sinful nature (it now being gone), and is now in a place where there is no more pain or sorrow.....

if this Creator could have prevented this someone from entering into such joy, etc, but did not prevent it, does this make this Creator evil?

Nah.
You are in no position to challenge anyone else's honesty, much less to pontificate about what is "wicked", or "evil". You can't tell which end is up without one of your religious brainwashers programming what you believe.

ISIS is not to bright they now have U.S., NATO, Russia, Israel, Kurds just to name a few all ready to bring forth their destruction. They have managed to bring together an alliance of strange bed fellows for a common cause. They may win several battles but in the end they will lose the war.

The bubble has been blown, getting quite full and turgid.Just look at the S&P ramp 2009-Present. Those who get out at the right time make a lot of money. Those who don't get out get 2001'd or 2008'd.That is the game (401K/IRA crowd always lose).
1485  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Columbia student Emma Sulkowicz vows to carry mattress around university on: September 05, 2014, 04:58:26 PM
University police forces should only be in charge of apprehending plagiarists, food fight instigators, and perhaps bike thieves. Matters of assault should be handled by real police forces who use real court rooms. Rapists shouldn't be expelled. They should be incarcerated.

Obviously in this life, the evil can prosper while those who do good may suffer.  So, we can see evil is not always dealt with in this life.
You are an intellectually challenged emotional cripple who hides his mental deficiencies behind a religious label "christian".

You have no moral compass; you can't even tell up from down.  "Wicked" is what you learned last week in Sunday School, in whatever superstitious beliefs system you learned it, in whatever "hell" your religious brain washers programmed you to believe.

Do you honestly think anyone cares for your opinion?

What Happens to the wicked upon death?I guess it all depends on your favorite superstitious belief. Why not wait until after he dies...and ask Dick Cheney?

1489  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics Discussion on: September 04, 2014, 05:29:13 PM
American "Value Adding Entrepreneurs" just may be forced to abandon the USA forever, "IF" Collectivism survives.

Thankfully, this is neither a problem nor even of any importance.

It will be great fun to watch the US Economy operate with ZERO Private Sector revenue, and TOTAL Public Sector revenue!
1490  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics Discussion on: September 04, 2014, 05:19:32 PM
The most wonderful economic element is that there is NO FREE lunch! Those who receive 'handouts' become far to weak to survive on their own, and are therefore cast aside by their culture.

Still, while these Fiends hold political power they do erode our Middle Class by driving our Employers to other nations and they have done this with focused passion. This forced Middle Class Individuals whose jobs have been erased to consume their kids' education savings, and their own Retirement plans as they fought to survive.
Let me help you.  The "will to succeed" is born of freedom. The liberal statists have substituted dependency on government for individual freedom.  We are no longer FREE to succeed. Just try to start a free enterprise in this country today. Without some sort of government intervention or guarantee, (affirmative action?) it is damn near impossible, and in any event, not worth the trouble, because government is going to step in, tell you "you didn't build that" and take it.
DUH!!! I believe this is why so many thousands of former American Employers UNA$$ED the USA with a driven passion!Anyone with a two digit IQ must wonder how any drooling fool actually believed a single Entrepreneur "MIGHT" consider business as usual "IF" a FIEND Government ever inflicted any added costs against them!
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics Discussion on: September 04, 2014, 05:16:38 PM
The element MOST amazing to me has been watching the Liberals erase the "American Will to succeed," in less than a single decade! Just consider the huge number of able bodied Americans on Disability combined with those on Welfare programs, whose job skills are so obsolete they will NEVER again have a job.

1493  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fed Gov't Autopsy Finds Michael Brown Not Shot in Back on: September 04, 2014, 03:10:44 PM
It doesn't matter.

When we learned that Trayvon Martin was on top of George Zimmerman beating him, just as Zimmerman claimed and after all the denials from liberals, they just moved the goalposts. If it becomes a fact that Brown did assault Wilson and break facial bones, and it becomes a fact that when told to freeze, Brown taunted and then charged Wilson, the liberals will just move the goalposts again.
1494  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islamic State 'beheads second US journalist' on: September 03, 2014, 05:04:02 PM
The left, of course, would rather talk about Ferguson, Michael Brown, and Darren Wilson, and ignore Obama's fecklessness. We don't send American troops back into that cesspool.  Obama pulled them out and gave up all the ground they had gained, now we do NOT ask them to go back and die some more for the same real estate and the same raghead assholes.

No one is asking the United States to intervene directly in Iraq. But I can't understand why they are not helping the Peshmerga. The Kurdish fighters are armed only with light weapons and they are finding it increasingly difficult to take on the ISIS. But off course, there is the strong pressure from Turkey against arming the Kurds.
Time to end this once and for all.   If Obama doesn't do something, it's going to get very ugly over here, when ISIS shows up and starts hitting soft targets.  Americans will not take it.
My suggestion is NOT to kill all the Muslims in case they might become radicalized.  That's the point. My suggestion is that we continue to deal things in an intelligent, civilized fashion.   We do not kill people because of what they might one day do.  We don't kill people because of what someone who shares their religion does. When someone shows signs that they may be becoming radicalized, we watch them. If they try something, we try to head them off. If we're unsuccessful in prevention, we react - we arrest, we try, we imprison, or even execute. But we DON'T preemptively commit genocide. It's not who we are.

Ah, found it.  Not so quickly.  Ok, it seems to depend on how point #4 is read.  Bold faced is mine.   Does seem like Russia is breaking some of the other points, as an addendum.

http://www.cfr.org/arms-control-disarmament-and-nonproliferation/budapest-memorandums-security-assurances-1994/p32484

4. The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon State party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used;
1496  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NATO vs. RUSSIA? on: September 03, 2014, 04:20:16 PM
I thought it was regardless, because their nuclear deterrent from invasion was what they were giving up.  And if they were attacked using nukes, let's face reality - there wouldn't be much left anyway - either there OR here. That's why Russia can be bold with them - with a mad man at the helm in still nuclear Russia, just how much would we do?
True - and what was linked to was an English translation of the agreement.  I was pointing out that we were obliged regardless back when, and I think it was Sana8410 that posted the link.  I will see if I can find it - be curious to hear your input.
1497  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NATO vs. RUSSIA? on: September 03, 2014, 04:13:56 PM
Would NATO actually go to war with Russia to save Ukraine even though she is not a member? Wouldn't that be against their long established principles of staying out of scraps between non member states? If that was the case what would stop NATO from going after Isis [Islamic State] in Iraq and Syria? Is the fact they are preparing a possible conflict with Russia suggest that NATO's mission has changed? Should it change? Is this a new reality? A second cold war? What do you think is going on here?
The problem we have right now, is that we  (NATO) promised Ukraine that we'd protect them if they were willing to give up their nuclear arsenal after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Probably not the best promise to make, considering it doesn't account for a megalomaniacal  tyrant like Puten to come into power in Russia, but we did it. Now we have to decide which is worse - going back on our word and letting Ukraine fall, or risking all out nuclear war with the Mad Man of Moscow (AKA, hero of the American conservative movement).
And it did seem it was contingent on the use of nukes.  That said, currently, perception is that it is a promise regardless, and it may also be that NATO sees this as but the first step by Russia, to be dealt with now or later - not sure.

My understanding is that the promise was if nuclear weapons were used againsg Ukraine.  I had been thinking it was regardless, but someone then posted the link to the actual agreement.  I don't have that link offhand.

As for McGavin's links, I'm not a big fan of the Small Wars Journal, but Jihadica and Foreign Policy are pretty good sources.

For the most part, ISIS funds itself internally. Primary means of money are: smuggling, extortion / "taxation", kidnapping, the sale of oil both to Assad and to other parties through Iran, and the capture of monetary reserves in Mosul.

Other smaller sources include private funding (mostly from persons in Gulf States).
Thanks for the links, both of you.

I was wondering what you meant by sale of oil through Iran? I have a hard time seeing IS and Iran working together on anything, really.
1500  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll: A third of Men In Devout Muslim Pakistan Say Raping Boys Is Acceptable… on: September 03, 2014, 02:22:59 PM
Absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking as what chance do these poor little boys have. Instead of wasting money on nuclear weapons and plans to bomb western targets, why don't the government and extremists do something about protecting these children?

There are millions of street children in Pakistan and very few orphanages. To put it simply, Pakistan does not have sufficient funds to provide protection to all these children. May be it is time to popularize family planning there. If a country can't take care of its population, then may be it is time to limit the uncontrolled population growth.
What a disgusting man admitting to doing this but trying to justify it because he can't help it Then he goes off to the Mosque to pray knowing his God doesn't like what he's doing Why isn't he excommunicated from his Mosque They should be doing something to prevent these evil sex starved men from doing this.
