There are big differences between that Christianity and Islam. they are able for compensations but at a much smaller scale than it actually happens. and from the religious point of view Christianity is weaker than Islam, much weaker, proof being their status today.
Agreed. Christians need to stop turning the other cheek, start beheading people in the name of their God, and seek solace in living in dirt floored hovels in between their calls to prayer to honor their God. Better yet, they should all just be killed in the name of hollow snackbar.
Personally speaking, I'd favor Western countries taking the gloves off when it came to dealing with Muslims.
For instance. Why not target Afghans suspected of collaborating with Taliban insurgents for reprisals? You could flatten the villages which provide aid to the insurgents, then execute the male population in a mass shooting. It would probably drive a more effective point home since they only respect extreme violence and force.

You don't think that wouldn't leave to more attacks against enemy combatants like 9/11? Keeping on giving reasons for revenge is a good idea?
They already have a lot of hate and revenge wishes on us,even if we give them more reasons or not........

It doesn't work for us because we capture and move without leaving a stabilizing force behind.

I don't believe concepts like truth, justice and equality have been suppressed. In fact, I think they have become more and more prevalent in today's society.
Truth - Edward Snowden and wikileaks exposing the us gov spying on citizens
Justice - The heavy media attention and interest directed towards the Zimmerman court case
Equality - The push towards the legalization of gay marriage
I believe that noble values are even more apparent and being fought for more than ever in today's generation.

I wouldn't count on this happening anytime soon.
If a valid constitutional convention occurs, it/they are not limited in scope. Everything is up for grabs.

Is Boko Haram a mobile group? How do they feed such a large amount of people? Or do they have a home base? And if they do have a home base, why hasn't it been raided yet?
Just introducing about Boko Haram, Boko Haram promotes a version of Islam which makes it "haram", or forbidden, for Muslims to take part in any political or social activity associated with Western society. This includes voting in elections, wearing shirts and trousers or receiving a secular education. Boko Haram regards the Nigerian state as being run by non-believers, even when the country had a Muslim president.

I think this may lead to good things and/or bad things. What are your thoughts?

Why? and what for? are my main thoughts. Maybe we should work harder on upholding and abiding by what we have now first.
2390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Lack of Major Wars May Be Hurting Economic Growth on: June 14, 2014, 01:25:42 PM
From the linked article:
“Rather, the very possibility of war focuses the attention of governments on getting some basic decisions right — whether investing in science or simply liberalizing the economy. Such focus ends up improving a nation’s longer-run prospects…War brings an urgency that governments otherwise fail to summon.”
Translation: We are stupid.
2391  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Best place in America to rape 12 year-old girls on: June 14, 2014, 01:07:50 PM
What is the punishment for sexually assaulting your 12 year-old step-daughter in Wisconsin?

A $6,000 fine and 60 days in jail.

Well.  Not for you.  This "punishment" is only appropriate for Billionaires like Curt Johnson who plead guilty to the crime last Friday.

"Wisconsin billionaire pleads guilty to sexual assault charge"

If you enjoy buggering little girls in Racine, Wisconsin and get caught, do be sure to get the same Prosecutor that Curt Johnson had, Racine County District Attorney Rich Chiapete.

Rich crashed his car while driving drunk last April.  After fleeing the scene on foot, he lied to the police who visited his house and told them he had been asleep for the last two hours.  This is a man who will cut you a deal.

Just read that this guy started having sex the girl when she was in 6th/7th grade.. Must be nice to be a billionaire and pay off the family. Anyone else would be in prison for years with a felony conviction..
2392  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Let's face it -- just because you CAN have children doesn't mean you SHOULD. on: June 14, 2014, 01:03:54 PM
People (not all, but a lot) do not make enough money to survive let alone pay for child care. But.....you DO NOT chain your child up!!! This child is no an animal. I don't really care what this man's excuses will be, because it's not about him, it's about the child and there is not one single reason why anyone would chain this little guy up!! Not being able to afford child care is no excuse (if that is even his excuse) period!
2393  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What good things has Obama had since he is elected ? on: June 14, 2014, 12:16:34 PM
Barack Obama has executed a whole lot of tasks.. However, the best of the lot is the killing of terrorist Osama Bin Laden and the end of war in Iraq.
That’s not true , he didn’t kill Osama Bin Laden , SWAT and FBI team did that , but yes that happened when he came to the office . But what you think about starting this war with Libya ? Is it the same like with Iraq just few miles difference same goal same oil same shits happening .
If you don’t know much about Obama that’s not the reason to make him look bad . He did some good things really take a look . and then judge ! But if you are president some people are going to like you some are not . That’s normal fact !

Proof you can please only some people some of times .

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/02/15/...citations/

I didn’t say only bad things . I would give him credits for that Improving the Economy, Preventing Depression and in fields of Wall Street reforms that he made . I can agree on that civil rights and anti-discrimination improvements that he made .

But as you said you can please only some people some of times . I don’t like Obama that's my opinion Smiley
According to a 2012 poll conducted by Gallup, a company famous for the integrity of their public opinion polls, 54% of Libyans approve of U.S. leadership, compared to only 22% and 19% respective approval for China and Russia's, and 75% of Libyans say they approved of NATO's military intervention in the civil war.

Well, what did you expect? Gaddafi was brutally oppressing his own citizens and killing the rebels and anyone who dares to speak against him en mass. His was an authoritarian dictatorship where ordinary citizens like you and I do not have a voice in what happens to us, our family and our neighbors.

Are you saying that such a leader should not be overthrown?
2394  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Favorite political figure? on: June 14, 2014, 08:16:58 AM
Reagan took America from being the world's largest creditor to being the world's largest debtor.
We don't even have to get into his scandals or his love for the Taliban to discern that he was a mediocre president at best.
Also he admitted he's the best president of my lifetime.
But that's not setting the bar very high Grin
2395  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Favorite political figure? on: June 14, 2014, 07:45:03 AM
Also I believe to some people Ronald Regan would be a favorite political figure

It's been 10 years since we lost you. RIP, you were the finest President of the 20th Century

Good Riddance!!!

FACT: The national debt more than quadrupled on Reagan's watch, from $700 billion to nearly $3 trillion. The trade deficit also more than quadrupled, to $137.3 billion. The budget imbalances--the exact opposite of Reagan's goal--were partly the result of the military buildup and partly because neither the administration nor Congress made any significant reductions in domestic spending. But the largest single reason for the mounting deficits was that the vaunted "supply-side" tax cuts failed to deliver their promised economic growth. In the six years of the Reagan presidency after the recession ended, the nation's private wealth grew by 8 percent. In contrast, in the five years between 1975 and 1980, a period often described by Reagan as unproductive, private wealth increased 31 percent.

Deal with it.

The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams (Isis) has imposed a strict set of Sharia laws on the citizens of Nineveh province just days after capturing the provincial capital of Mosul.

In a document circulating on social media attributed to the group, Isis warned tribal leaders and sheikhs not to "work with [the Iraqi] government and be traitors" while proclaiming that women should only go outside if absolutely necessary.

"For women, dress decently and wear wide clothes. Only go out if needed," read the document as translated by Al Aan TV reporter Jenan Moussa.

Further rules included bans on drugs, alcohol and cigarettes while public gatherings, the possession of guns and the carrying of flags not of the Islamic state were outlawed.

"For those asking who are you? We are soldiers of Islam and took on our responsiblity to bring back glory of the Islamic Caliphate.

"Money we took from [the] Safavid government is now public. Only Imam of Muslims can spend it. Anyone who steals [will have their] hands cut," the document translation read.

Without the eradication of Islam, this savagery is to be expected.

Trying to civilize a group of savages who would rather live in the 11th century instead of the 21st was a waste of American blood and money. Hopefully we learn from this colossal mistake.
Hows that xenophobic bigotry treating you?
There are sects of Christianity that are no better. I guess we better eradicate Christianity too huh?

I use openDNS at work, it works fine, but as Sana said, nothing will block 100%. These content control engines rely on the data these pages produce and it won't be 100%, that's a guarantee. They will be good, but nothing will be perfect, regardless of product.

It would be 100% if you were doing this stuff with your kid and not using the internet as a babysitter. No matter how good a filter is, there's zero chance I would trust it with my 5 year old.

Fixing the US Economy
Winning the war in Iraq

But the fact is that he started a new one with Libya ...
A lot of people would say for Obama. A wolf in sheep's clothing
Of course we won the Iraq war, for appropriate values of "we." if "we" is a bunch of multinational oil corporations and defense contractors, then "we" definitely won the Iraq war. Iraqi oil is now on its way to market. Without "regime change" the sanctions would still be in place.

Well this month, Friday falls on the 13th.

Friday the 13th.
Friday the 13th is widely considered an unlucky day in Western folklore. The idea of such superstition seems like a relic from ancient mythology; an irrational belief borne of ignorance in a time when gods were trusted to provide answers to the universe. Despite years of scientific and technological advancement and the evolution of human culture, superstition lives on in the digital age ….......
