2401  Other / Off-topic / Re: What programming language do you love? on: June 13, 2014, 12:33:04 PM
My main language which I used every day is PHP. I enjoy that because it was quite quick and easy to pick up, there is a lot of documentation and a lot of tutorials/examples, etc... on the internet for pretty much everything I need.

I've also used a bit of Java when I was at university and a bit of C#. I disliked Java immensely, though for some reason didn't mind C# that much.

What about Coca Cola?Everyone drinks it all over the world.....in Atlanta in the 1880s, Pemberton sold a syrup made of wine and coca extract he called "Pemberton's French Wine Coca," which was touted at a cure for headaches and nervous disorders....also called “brain tonic”..............
2404  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people deny the climate change? on: June 12, 2014, 05:22:24 PM
Because propaganda. Simple as that, propaganda. They are idiots who listen to the propaganda from the right/corporate outlets and their "studies." They think there's some liberal control or conspiracy in government when liberals aren't anywhere in power.
2405  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best multiplayer Game You played? on: June 12, 2014, 05:14:10 PM
For fun, Halo 3 Custom games, spent well over 500Hrs logged in a total of over 3000K custom game matches, and 20 matchmaking. For competition, Battlefield 3 on PC its large scale settings, game play controls and design just made me enjoy it 10 fold as opposed to CoD which finally frustrated me.

You can be good when you work for money , but when you work something you love you can be the best !!!

That's only true in life ! Just do things you love and things that make you happy , money , car's , houses , everything is nothing if you are not happy with your life ...
Yes, you are right... Material things are of no value if one isn't happy with this life.. But don't you think nowadays these are the actual things which get happiness from.. Whether you agree to the fact or not but it is material things which are actually more important to us..
If we go on a vacation.. we are happy
if we buy a new smartphone - we rejoice..
If we buy toys for kids - they become and so do we..

So money is very important in today's world to taste happiness..

So, I just gotta figure out how to make money sitting on my couch watching TV.....and I'm set for life!!! It truly is what I love to do Smiley
There are people doing that already. lol they start online blogs and write reviews for TV shows. You can also write articles about TV shows on review sites and get paid per article or sometimes they pay you for each thousand view!

There is also an app where you can make $$ watching Tv. I don't think it's enough to 'make a living off' but it's still something. Cheesy

http://hubpages.com/hub/Make-Money-Watch...s-and-Tips

You can also answer tv related quizzes and surveys and get paid for it!
Don't you think petite tasks like these are completely crap... Getting paid to watched television.. completely bull shit... In fact, I won't call these stuff work at all.. They are merely time pass activities where you get to earn few peanuts !!

Thanks to all for your opinion.. I guess you are absolutely right... If one is talented and can showcase his skills, he is sure to be rewarded... But, I don't agree with you on the saying that standard is pretty much same all over... I guess standards are completely different in different countries..
Some countries you get appreciation too quickly especially in places where there is a shortage of labor and places where there's enough supply, it is really tough to walk up the ladder...
Here is a link to the current unemployment status in USA - http://www.tradingeconomics.com/united-s...yment-rate

Please go through it and interpret it correctly ..
I would like to point out that that unemployment rate has gone down from 6.70% to 6.30%, but then this is a very insignificant difference and it is possibly due to other factors such as less immigrants, people overseas for work, etc.
Thanks for sharing the link mate.. I did go through it and concluded that the unemployment rate in America is same, 0.4% difference isn't that significant at all.. But do you have any clue about the cause behind this?

Im thinking about using the water from our mountain rain to gather water.  Would be the less cost effective way then buying bottle water and storing them in tanks

I wanted to play on your site but did a investigation on you, you seem to be Hadrien Dorio and there is scam complaint against you on google and your website.  Play with caution here.  All you have to do is google his name I found your name on your registered domain.
2415  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you rather:... on: June 11, 2014, 02:20:19 PM
I would always choose to do something I love rather than struggling in something I hate...I might earn less money but will be happy and content deep down..
I am not the one getting in the rat race for money and loosing my life...
"People who have the opinion that money cannot buy happiness actually don't know where to shop..."

This is a very famous quote and I agree to it completely... Money can happiness indirectly.. If you have money.. you can indulge in various things and fulfill your desires, otherwise you just learn to be content..

I am about to finish a masters degree in business administration from UK and thinking to work in USA? Can anybody guide me right to the current employment conditions in the country? Few years back, companies in the country were laying off employees.. Is that still continuing ?
2417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you rather:... on: June 11, 2014, 01:25:19 PM
Would you rather: Make a lot of money doing a job that makes you miserable or barely make ends meet doing something you love? Thoughts?

Well, I would choose to make a lot of money doing a job that makes me miserable... because once I earn a good amount of money, I will be able to buy happiness as well as love..
