If anyone is stupid enough to make a nuclear first strike it will be North Korea, Pakistan, or India. I was going to include Israel, but they are more likely to use chemical.
I don't think we need to fear one stupid nation using a nuclear weapon. This will not happen as almost anyone knows what a nuclear war will bring and that even the winner will be in fact a loser. What we should fear is an accident , and this thing will happen sooner or later , the only question is how many of us will survive , and how many hands and feet we will have after it .

A thread about bitcoin adoptions for different countries , age of users , and daily use would be far more interesting .

The most interesting thing right now is the way you two guys post... Now really , do you really have an order on how you do this . I am joking but if you check the last 3 pages , it's nemo , bryna , nemo , bryan , etc Back on the subject , have they already cleared the mess in the news about that canal water debit and it's impact on the agriculture? Last time rt published 3 different figures , I wonder if they come out with new ones.

He does understand the principle beliefs of the aryans right? You can be a "nazi' even if you are black and even if you are a jew. Nazism means national socialist but lots of people get the wrong idea about it.

Orban is just testing the waters... He couldn't care less about those hungarians , he's main objective is the independence of a part of Ardeal in Romania. But with each day passing his chances are getting lower and lower .

Well , this is the only thing that was lacking in the Ukraine , now we have to think and fear a nuclear disaster.

Simple increasing of average wage won't change anything, because this action will cause proportional jump of inflation.
And it will make a lot of business either shut down , go to the black market or move out of the country which will lead to less taxes and less jobs .

Sorry for asking but , what does it really mean "to be disassociated from" his activities? Because , I either have the wrong idea what that means or it makes no sense.

Guys, if you dont care that merchants are not holding onto their coins.....and not many new people with fiat are arriving in the system...do you think current price levels are sustainable? Merchants care about USDs received from your purchases and as third party services are selling your coins = eating what little fiat there is left, shouldnt the price drop in the long term?
If I agree with you that bitcoin will go to 0 because of the merchants selling the coins , do you agree on not asking the same question again and again ?

Hello,
I've been reading (only) this thread for some time now and would like to pose a question for discussion:
Doesn't the current low volume conditions make this market a potential "easy target" for someone (or some entity) to manipulate it for profit?
Seems likely to me.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.
Mark
If you try to manipulate the market , you need a bit of volume to do so and that will wake up both bears and bulls changing the whole picture.

Does anyone know about a better one-stop shopping spot to obtain the measurement for the totality of bitcoin volume?
User @JorgeStolfi tried to do that for a while, but gave up some time ago, partly because he found that several large Chinese exchanges (perhaps 30% or more of the total) were not listed in any convenient source, not even in bitcoinwisdom. And I was just going to nominate you for the job. Such disappointment.

Well 8000 mhs would mean ,that he has at least 900 R9 290. Even if he had that many , why would he mine Grø? there are way more profitable coins.
But isn't that making you think that " Democratizing Mining" is not really the strong point of the coin ?

It really amazes me...NOT... that Gazprom would do such terrible things , just like the US and EU companies. We had huge manifestation against fracking and drilling in protected areas all over the world , let's see how many will protest in Moscow. And how RT will cover the story .

Average wage in Poland is 680 euros , that's 34 euros /working day.
What about the blue-collar jobs? I am sure that the average salary for the blue-collar jobs in Poland must be well below € 34 per day. I won't be surprised if it is close to € 10 per day. In my country the worst jobs are averaging 200 euros , so , I doubt that there are any like this in poland. Also the minimum wage in Poland is 300 euros , so .

Looks like people are using their BTC for alt frenzies. Darkcoin has had higher volume on Mintpal alone.
Higher volume than what? As long as it's only traded against btc there , i doubt it can have "higher" volume. If the coinmarket cap is any indicator of volume, it appears that dark coin has achieved about half the volume of trading volume of BTC in the last 24 hours - even though the actual market cap of darkcoin is more than 200X smaller than BTC. Does NOT mean that Darkcoin is more successful than BTC, just that there may be a lot of volatility with darkcoin, and money to be made.. and likely easier to manipulate prices by smaller players. The volume of btc is calculated only from the usd/btc pair. It doesn't include ltc/btc , bc/btc So , that indicator is not that accurate from my point of view.

This petition to the White House will save "net neutrality" only when there will be no such thing as the White House.

This title is misleading. The article is just a rehash that says the new Russian regulations require them to pay, something that came out weeks ago. It does not say they are going to pay it. In fact, it says it would be unprofitable, since it is more than the revenue generated there by a large margin.
I cannot see MC/Visa paying. This gives Russia the ability to do a form of 'chargeback' against MC/Visa which they cannot stand. The outcome could be MC/Visa leaving Russia suddenly leaving Russia without them. Either way I have my popcorn ready, Bitcoin will benefit even if only slightly. RT: Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on foreign payment systems on May 5 that requires foreign payment systems to be levied at 25 percent of an average amount of transfers profit during one calendar day in Russia, to be paid each quarter to the Central Bank. The law will be enacted on July 1. Moscow Times: The legislation will require international payment systems who intend to remain on the Russian market beyond July 1 to place a security deposit in the Central Bank equal to the cumulative value of two days of transactions processed in Russia. Lols They are not supposed to pay anything , just make a deposit.
