Basically the creator of the project, Payu Harris went around to the media touting Maza as the official crypto currency of the Lakota nation. Then it came out that one or two of the tribal leaders had never heard of it and people panicked and it lost a huge chunk of its value within 2-3 days and people have been all over the threads and twitter calling it a "scam" coin because it was sold on a lie. The thing is there is some evidence the Lakotas official lawyer and the economic development council did know about it but either way the seed of doubt has been sewn and people have panic sold and people who called it a scam are gloating about it.

So what i'm trying to say is what makes Potcoin the "official currency of the Pot industry", who speaks for the pot industry, how many pot dispensaries have adopted it, not saying I have nothing against the concept of Potcoin but I just find it funny how monkeys run at the sign of a white lie of Maza not being "official" yet are ready to throw money into a coin touting the same credentials of "official" status. It is this kind of madhouse behavior that is just turning me off from ALL alts in general.

Why do people have such contempt for people who lose money? It's bad enough to pump and dump and make off with people's hard earned money yet you have to then shit on them afterwards.

Couple this with the story the FBI had a talking to with the tribal leaders, definitely some deeper machinations at work behind the scenes.

Look if Maza doesn't become an official native crypto, then no one ever will frankly. Why would the tribes break off and create their own when most of the work has been done for them already?

Surely too there is a better reason to adopt crypto, make money for the tribe changing the world rather than just relying on vices like gambling or tobacco sales.

What I meant by end of P&D is SEC heavily regulates this kind of stuff in the securities world, think Jordan Belfort and Wolf of Wallstreet. I'm sure if crypto regulations came in they'd try to rein in this kind of behavior (although not sure if they really can).

Same here I could have walked away with 12(!) BTC from an initial 1.5btc investment but thought it would hit AUR highs and held. But didn't AUR experience a mini pump before dropping and then going to orbit?

For the last 24-36 hours been lots of microselling on cryptsy and mintpal driving panic sellers out while they scoop up cheap coins.

A lot of whales have been constantly talking trash on twitter about it even though logically they should have moved on to a new coin to yack about.

People with little to no posting history popping up in the MZA thread talking smack too.

Finally for what it's worth, Fontas tweeted he thinks a MZA pump is incoming and over day ago says he thinks a lot of volume will be pouring in, it's a bit unusual for him to say such a thing being he only likes to promote his own pumps and usually keeps what coin it is secret.

So my theory is a pump is incoming, the question is will this be a quick dump or an epic AUR-like rise? ALOT of people got filthy rich on that AUR pump and I can't see why they wouldn't want to repeat that, especially when we are in a volatile time when governments are talking crypto regulation and the days of P&D schemes could be coming to an end any day now. I know if I made hundreds of thousands if not millions off AUR I'd want to repeat the same again myself, my 2 cents.
