Anyone think this could pull a CRY and hit 75 cents to a dollar?

I can forgive the instamine, it may have been a mistake, may have not been. What I can't forgive though is the Dark cartel charging 80 cents to a dollar for the coin for months when it had no anon function. Unless you were lucky to have a mining rig to get all those coins in its first 24-48 hours, Dark has always had a high barrier to entry for most people to accumulate a serious amount of coins. Not sure who to blame, if anyone for any of this, but that is really my main issue, it seems greed has dominated the coin since day 1 by the whales.

The Dark community is like the Lannisters, used all the dirty tactics in the book to smash XC/The Starks-- but there is hope, Daenerys Tar-vericoin can come and show Dark who is boss!

So are the ring nodes owned by you pnosker, I worry about it being a centralized solution...

Congratulations to atcsecure and his team, and thanks to everyone else, both those who tried to break it and those who didn't, I appreciate someone who is a disbeliever but at least attempts to prove their doubt rather than someone who just hurls mud. Now let's push on to the moon!

Am I the only one who is sick to death of hearing about premines?
It makes no difference to me whether a whale with 1% of the coins dumps or the dev, either way both are just as much a valid fear.

OMG I didn't know it was you guys doing this coin. I wish someone had told me earlier lol. Oh I missed out big time only bought a few in the IPO because some peeps in trollbox alerted me. I been worried mainly about my son's health so not been as active as I wished. Can I do a blog promotion for it? It's still early, only 3x IPO price plenty of room to grow.

As it happens, DRK is probably one of the better distributed cryptos and your "instamine" claims got blown out of the water weeks ago when it was pointed out to you that it had been more than compensated for in early trading.
Change the record please.
I don't mind the instamine thing so much as I hate the instaminers had the gall to charge as much as a dollar for months for DRK when it was just a normal X11 coin with no anon features. At least XC started off dirt cheap on the exchanges. Distribution never concerns me as much as everyone, be they miners or traders, get a somewhat fair shot to get coins cheap and easily in the opening days as reward for being first in line.

Just playing devil's advocate...let's say the basic structure of the POS/POW coin WAS made by loljosh, in the end if the product works does it really matter? I could care less if the keebler elves cobbled it together as long as atcsecure built a working anonymous system. I personally see nothing wrong with paying someone to do the grunt work if you can focus on the more advanced functionsof the coin, Even Evan is admitting he needs help and is now looking for qualified devs to join the Dark team but nobody spreads FUD about that.

Anonymity is not a toy. People trust their lives to anonymity. It must be fool proof, perfect, impervious to years and decades of future scrutiny and attempts at hacks and manipulation. I would argue that cryptography is the single most complex and difficult art to master in all of academia. It is the art of perfect secrecy, perfect trustlessness, elegant in its design and only the most genius of minds are worthy of such an endeavor. The significance of this undertaking cannot be overestimated.
Which goes to my point on why I think DRK is overpriced at the moment, "semi-anonymous" or "almost anonymous" is not the same as anonymous, period. For anyone who feels Dark is correctly priced or should be priced even higher, tell me, would you feel secure being in the role of the next DPR running a Silk Road style website and conducting daily transactions of tens of thousands of dollars or more in DRK? It's a simple yes or no question.

Autodonation code for BOOST in this coin on github?
We need George Zimmerman around to do something about all these scam coins!

I think you're missing his point. He was really being tongue in cheek This isn't just tech kiddy crap any more, this is cutting edge computer science in a field where people can spend and lose millions of dollars. I sincerely hope for the people invested in XC that it works out for them, but as someone who has been investing, mining and researching this technology field for months, I am very skeptical and currently not invested, although I was at one point.
But you have to admit XC wouldn't have taken off like this if Dark didn't have serious problems of its own. I have no problem admitting Dark is way ahead of the game and may be "the best" or most ahead anonymous coin at the moment and I'd much rather hold it if I could afford it, but people try to cover up the fact it has problems too, the whole instamine controversy, masternodes being hosted on Amazon servers, being ripe pickings for DDOS, etc. there wouldn't be a "search" for a better coin if there wasn't a need. At the very least I don't think Dark deserves to be anywhere near the 10 dollar and above mark until we have proven 95-99% anonymity at least and full disclosure of source code to insure the technology is safe. There is still no guarantee after all that either DRK or XC isn't some major honeypot, neither are truly following the fundamental natures of open source software yet people seem more inclined to worry about whether a dev is using github right or outsourcing some coding work to other devs.

As a holder of Darkcoin, I'm very interested in competitors claiming to achieve the same goal.
After the enormous rise in marketcap for Darkcoin, this weeks flavor of the month is apparently anonymity. Good luck with your investments.
If anonymity is flavor of the month then you'd better sell your Darkcoin now because people will get bored and move on to something new next month, no?

Here is mine. The logo is supposed to represent the head of a key implying security, the gold implying it is the "gold standard" of anonymous cryptocurrency and also gives a feeling of trust and luxury. The font is Eurostile which I feel is classy but also has a bit of techiness to it which fits well with the concept. Also the X can in theory represent the way nodes communicate back and forth to deliver encrypted data between machines. Here is 3 different versions, not sure which one I like best, but I think the XC shape fits well alone inside a define square/circle area which would work on coinmarketcap.

So when the wallet hits tonight I assume there will be a way to independently prove the decentralized anonymous transactions are going through on the blockchain to quiet the trolls?

People are buying XC now?
Looks like it! Release the Kraken!

If this coin can get on the Chinese exchanges it could be huge, Tibetan Mastiffs are major status symbols over there.

Are multipools still dumping coins, was pumping big and now dropping.

Forum is nearly done...
\o/ All new members will be manually vetted I'm not entirely against this but I would advise to make sure this doesn't turn into another ZBad/Zetacoin mess where only a very select few are allowed on the forum to see what is going on behind the curtain, we need to be as transparent as possible.
