But who would pay people to do this? First, to who or what is Uro a threat? I honestly can't see anyone that would be behind this. Second, why try to kill it through fud? I mean, there are probably better ways to kill a coin than FUD, I doubt any of their comments are having much of an impact.
It's not about it being a threat. It's about potentially MILLIONS of dollars at stake and if you are so greedy that you would do ANYTHING to try and get a coin as cheap as possible that could inflate your wealth significantly, why NOT pay some people to FUD a coin and drop the price? If you don't think the FUD hasn't had an impact you weren't there that day when everyone was excited from the price rise to .03 and then an army of sock accounts and newbies invaded the URO thread to FUD it and it tanked the price down 80-90% in just hours. Also consider for some people around the world, the prospect of getting paid .5 btc or whatever the going rate is to FUD a coin non-stop for a month beats sewing shoes or soldering electronics in a sweat shop. Ask yourself why Chang and crew hasn't fudded this heavily on all the other scam coins on bitcointalk? Where were they when I outed Darkcash? |

The problem with Litecoin is.....what is the point...all it differs from Bitcoin is speed of transaction. That's it. Any issue with Bitcoin's speed is easily solved by merchants going through backend service providers willing to insure that cup of coffee at 0 confirmations, and the odds of such daily low-cost business deals being double spent is very, very low.
It has no household name status like Bitcoin and in fact the name itself is probably poisonous from a marketing standpoint, people associate Lite as being something generic or inferior to the original i.e Diet Coke.
Faster confirmation coins are nice but they should do alot more than just be a copy of Bitcoin to justify their existence.

Anyone with half a brain can tell truthful, Chang and Guglimugli are being paid to do this, why else would they come day in, day out for over 2 months now trashing URO. I'm one of URO's biggest supporters but I don't live here 24/7, there are other coins I like and I also have my main job, what could possess someone to take such a hardcore interest in infecting this thread?
The one thing they can never answer either, if Nilesh and GES are scammers, why isn't there a single documented complaint online anywhere except for 1 guy upset they put a hole in his wall installing cameras?
Even BitcoinSachs with his penny auction site had a few dozen complaints online and he is small fry.

Personally I find it interesting the game has great graphics and looks professionally done but the marketing is lacking, there is no website, hell not even a basic working block explorer. While this may scare people off, to me this looks like someone who is concentrating on the substance first instead of the fluff, no hype involved. The fact 90 BTC suddenly flowed in overnight with barely any peep about this coin tells me somebody knows something. |

Like hell there wasn't, a coin doesn't pump to .03 and pull in millions in volume without a decent exit point. Anyway I'm still a believer in URO but i'm also realistic, I know what a major FUD attack can do to a legit project after what happened to Maza and I definitely would have cashed out some of my gains if I had been at a computer to do so and it could have REALLY helped me with some bills and debt and also buy MORE URO, but no instead some people wanted to be greedy and took Judas's money to create newbie accounts and send this coin spiraling to the ground. Personally I hope to make some money just so I can fly right up to one of those Bitcoin conventions and give Bryce Weiner a piece of my mind. But I guess he is too busy building his Razor road based off stolen Neutrino code for people to deal drugs and sell stolen Macbooks, what a stand up guy he is. |

I woke up that one morning with 40 BTC in my account overnight and went to work hoping to come back and see my life changed forever
Instead I log on 8 hours later to hundreds of new users invading the URO forum calling it a scam, a pisscoin, saying Nilesh isn't real and Jebus and Bryce losing their shit on twitter calling it a scam after only a day earlier promoting the hell out of it and the price dropped like 90%
Thank you Chang, thank you Bryce for "saving" me!
