If you are so concerned about a multi-million dollar company stealing your ID and you have 100k to blow in Bitcoin I think you can afford a decent monthly credit/id theft monitoring service at $10-15 a month.

Really the coin is 90% complete anyway, all it needs is the zk-snarks and anything added on top is fluff. Even Satoshi "abandoned" Bitcoin and Charlie Lee doesn't do much with LTC, as long as the coin reaches the zenith of what it is supposed to do, provide total anonymity, I don't care if the dev runs off to the Bahamas never to be seen again. What more can you ask for?

Funny too how the last time time KEY pumped, Cloak got dumped, FUD team showed up and Mint got DDOSed. Sounds to me like someone doesn't want competition.

If anyone knew anything about crypto by now they'd know the innovative coins get dumped to high heaven and the scam/white paper ones get pumped. Don't rely on crypto whales to pump URO wait for the companies with REAL pockets.

Actually this analysis is spot on. It's not a knock against the coin, he even admitted it would have pumped on Mintpal 3 months ago, it's just the fact that the alt market scene is dying and no fresh money is coming in, market caps are just hopping from one coin to the next at best.

Whether name dropping Peter Todd is right or wrong, or whether Shadowsend improves on anonymity or not, it doesn't matter, history for the last 3 months has proven everyone will hype it up for a few days, dump it, and move on to the next anon coin named Darkercoin, Shadecoin, Muddlecoin or Dark Sewer coin or whatever. The fact Vertcoin implemented stealth addresses and was snoozed on proves the whole thing is about manipulation behind the scenes because it wasn't "new" or "sexy" enough.

It is a rinse and repeat cycle, most people here do not really want anon because plenty of solutions offered in the past work as intended.

Anyway good job to the dev if he delivers something new tomorrow but I am afraid the work will all be for naught.

This is the problem with the anon race, most of these coins are good enough for most everyday uses. Do you really need NSA-proof anonymity to buy 50 dollars of weed on the internet? Even some of the weakest "anon" coins are more than enough to sew doubt that would prevent an indictment or conviction in a court of law. But to paranoid teenagers they think nothing is good enough.

I wouldn't be shocked if they emailed farming.co.uk en masse telling them it is a scam to take down the article too.

I'm not a coder so I can't comment but I would think if the dev were the same as lolcoin and cso we'd be far more advanced by now as he'd just re-use all assets that were already built and months ahead in work.
