2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 22, 2014, 05:16:30 AM

This is just like starting a real business.  You do need to get licenses and file for LLC sometimes.  That costs money.  It keeps the noise out.  For anyone not willing to put their money where their mouth with.  Then they don't deserve to be starting a coin/business anyhow.  I'm sure the more serious people will find a way to put up the money.  Which is exactly the effect we want.

If people don't follow the rules, then it's time to come down hard on them.. multi pool attack, DDOS, and even hacking their sites.

Except LLCs and business licenses are handed out by government regulatory bodies fielded by an army of lawyers and a century of legal precedent behind them.

You are just clowns on a message board, who made you judge and jury?

Again, this is like the Bitcoin Foundation all over again, where those criminals Charlie Shrem and Karpeles voted themselves into a position of power and abused it for their own end.

Also no business license costs thousands of dollars to acquire either. I can file for an LLC tomorrow for practically little to no cost.

I respect that choice, now GTFO  Grin

~BCX~

So Captain America, will you be going after Darkcoin too because its proceeds will no doubt go to fund drug dealers, killers and child pornographers?

Maybe you should GTFO with your false sense of heroism.

Remember, the SEC only does what is in the interest to make everything "fair" too  Roll Eyes

Personally what attracted to me to crypto is the complete absence of regulation, if I want nannies getting in the middle of me and my buying decisions, well sorry guys, I'm leaving crypto and going back to selling antiques, buying precious metals or maybe getting into pot stocks.

Arguing over whether there is a premine or not is a philosophical difference, it doesn't change the fact Litecoin is being pushed more like a product than a currency and the creator is profiting off its popularity. Do I begrudge Lee? No, but let's tell the truth, it is a money making opportunity for him just as much as any other alleged scam coin. What difference does it make how a dev profits from his own creation? Is it the fact they are making money that upsets you or the fact they didn't mine it the "fair" way (even though everyone with half a brain knows mining has never been truly fair when it comes to having the best equipment, the best power supply, multipool access, being on the inside or in the know when the coin first launches etc.)

2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 22, 2014, 03:59:48 AM
For those on the sidelines, don't loose your head. Btw 3200 - 3400 is good entry. This run needs to be capped its climbing too quick.

yes I bought this midday at 3150

Yeh, bought most of mine before that, but figured that BC was the only coin that was consistently increasing in price over the past week. That along with the awesome devs and community, makes it a coin to go all-in on.

It's kind of concerning investing everything in one coin, but having read most things about the coin, including every page in this thread; I have a decent amount of confidence.

I'm all in making my last crypto stand in BC, I've lost alot of money to mining inflation and pump schemes I hope to find some stability, it's also nice for a change to in essence have the miners working to help make me money for a change (no offense to any miners reading this!)

31 pages in and nobody has even decided what counts as a scam coin lmao

I clearly stated a definition earlier, its not rocket science.

Premine is almost always a sign of scamcoin (e.g. Wolong's PandaCoin). IPO is also another big reg flag (e.g. the likes of StackCoin)

But let me guess, Charlie Lee working to sell his coin like it were a product through his brother at Bitcoin China and no doubt soon to come at Coinbase is not a scam, amirite?

There seems to be a ridiculous double standard on who is allowed to profit from their creation...

"I have here a list of known scam coins!"

Joe McCarthey all over again. 10 btc to create a coin? The ones behind this lame brain idea truly are delusional, most people don't even have more than 1 btc to their name and they expect developers to come up with this kind of cash?

The Oglala Nation in South Dakota did not return calls or emails from APTN National News.

Ok I know a lot of people keep demanding answers from Payu but it is the tribe itself that is pissing me off, first they say they know nothing about it, now they aren't returning calls or emails on the subject, why won't they just come out and say if it is a scam or not? They could put all this drama to rest once and for all.

For a tribe that claims to know nothing about it they seem to not want to talk about it or even outright say it's a scam...

2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin sCrypt | new Client v1.2 | NOW ON MINTPAL! on: March 21, 2014, 01:37:19 PM
If you look at the order books too, except for the occasional panic seller (or manipulator) people aren't exactly eager to hand over their coins, most are sales of just a few dozen coins at a time, a lot of hodlers. Where is this dump of hundreds of thousands of coins out in the wild? Nowhere to be seen.
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin sCrypt | new Client v1.2 | NOW ON MINTPAL! on: March 21, 2014, 12:55:02 PM
A lot of members of Bitcointalk has generally hated alts anyway, no big surprise that BTCs would have been banned here lol.
2113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin sCrypt | new Client v1.2 | NOW ON MINTPAL! on: March 21, 2014, 11:54:23 AM
hate to say it guys but what exactly makes this coin unique? a look at how fast it's sinking on mintpal suggests it's dying fast.

It wouldn't be dying if idiots didn't fall for all those stacks of low 1-10 sell orders unfortunately, this is why I hate Mintpal it doesn't have a real order book that shows you a full spread of asking prices, only the last few sell orders.
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin sCrypt | new Client v1.2 | NOW ON MINTPAL! on: March 21, 2014, 02:08:32 AM
VERY thin sell walls between .0007 and .0009 looks like supply is drying up fast, also rumor is a big whale crashed crush with a huge order earlier today. Don't sell, this coin is going places.

This thread reminds me of old Vietnam war quote

"We had to destroy the village in order to save it!"

Look at the crash on Rush in positive terms, it shows there is some serious demand for the coin and may not  be just another P&D scheme.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin sCrypt | new Client v1.2 | FIRST PLACE ON MINTPAL VOTES! on: March 20, 2014, 06:03:59 PM
Someone was saying because the Diff is so high he doubts we will see any mass dumping on Mintpal but people holding onto their coins as if it were a real Bitcoin or Litecoin.
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 20, 2014, 01:58:56 PM
People are dumb, the point of Blackcoin was not to avoid big sales of coins but to avoid mining dumping. It has already been established ages ago that if you have an anti-inflationary coin that continuously grows in value, people will dump eventually for profit, no one buys something to not sell eventually. The point is though that the great majority will recognize the value of the coin and over time dumps from 1 big investor will effect the price less and less, no different than if someone decided to one day sell 10k Bitcoins, its market cap is too strong for one big sale like that to tank half the market.

Anyone notice the charts on MINT? Been almost dead for a few hours now, no buying OR selling. Is something brewing?

R3wt keep hocking your failed exchange in your signature, how many coins did you run off with? See how accusations without proof work? I can make up whatever bullshit I like too.
