Exactly. I am a developer. Money is not the issue. I've started a big project, now it is on hold for several month already. Reasons? Total mess and lack of clear leadership of BitCoin (not that I pretend), uncertain BitCoin fate with all the scandals, hacks, legal problems, scalability issues, and again - the general mess and the amount of morons, nobody can do anything about. It's just a mess now. I guess we have to let it sort of die out, the price to drop to 1-2 dollars, morons get tired and move to new online "adventures" and then this project can quietly and slowly begin to evolve into something usable... FINALLY!!! Lets talk about your projects! About the Bitcoin development... Do not be discouraged now because of the apparent mess, it's easy to rearrange and, maybe this is just a cloud of dust in front of a great thing... The Bitcoin itself... It is there, shining, but we only can see it through the Hubble Space Telescope infrared cams... lol The Bitcoin development needs of nontechnical people involved. And this asks for a kind of "Interface" to the Bitcoin future, where everybody can participate. The Bitcoin-Development mailing list as a few messages per day... The Bitcoin needs more developers!! Disagree. Who will pay to developers, if miners are not willing to pay them? We need Enterpreneurs (to plan the development and to persuade miners) I am a miner (only 5GHash now) and I would like to pay for the Bitcoin development. In fact, I'm already doing this, but for my exchange site... So I can get more money, to pay for the Bitcoin development soon as possible... BTW, who pay for the Linux development?! There is a LOT of volunteers that would like to make something useful for mankind. Don't you know about Nikola Tesla?! He did all he did, not for money. We have global electricity, he develop and built the first hidroelectric power plant FOR US! For no money. He was a real human being. Money is a false incentive. But we are still living on this kind of society, so, lets do our best! Even if it is for free! For the health of people, you and me. Because at the end of the day, we all win! Think about it... Guys!!
I see a lot of discussion about the price of Bitcoin... Desperate people, thinking that is the end of the world the price of Bitcoin fall and fall but... What intrigues me is over:
Why is the price rise so quickly in the first place ?!?!?
The only answer I have in mind: The price of Bitcoin rise because the two U.S. senators have discovered about it and about Silkroad and they decided to try crack down the network... All parrot stuff... Media etc and etc... BOOM! The price went up... But in fact, the price was not worth much and, apparently still is not.
So my curiosity is: What would it cost the Bitcoin today if this had not happened a few months ago?!
That is, the trend should be the price of Bitcoin go back to the levels before this news, since the Bitcoin economy is not really prepared to be as valuable as they say it is worth.
Thus, the Bitcoin value will going back to be more valuable in the future, maybe in a couple of years, or before, but everything will depend on the reformulation Bitcoin client, so it should be much more friendly and safe (backups, automatic wallet encryption and etc.) and especially , in global acceptance of Bitcoins for goods and services.
We still have a LOT of work to do!!
This is just the beginning. We shouldn't fear the Bitcoin price these days...
Lets work more and talk less fellas!! COME ON!!
The Bitcoin needs more developers!! C coders, Python coders, GUI design builders, a libbitcoin detached from the GUI, wallet encryption per default and automatic, more rich and user friendly interface, a web panel to your local bitcoind... And most important, a democratic development. Not this democratic we have in politics... A REAL open source democracy.

Vejo muita, mas muita discussão sobre o preço do Bitcoin... Gente desesperada, achando que é o fim do mundo o preço do Bitcoin cair e cair mas... O que mais de deixa intrigado é: Por que é que o preço subiu tão rapidamente em primeiro lugar?!?!?
A única resposta que eu tenho em mente é: O preço do Bitcoin subiu porque dois senadores norte americanos descobriram sobre ele e sobre o Silkroad e resolveram tentar derrubar a rede... Aquela papagaida toda... Mídia, etc e etc... BOOM! O preço subiu... Mas de fato, o preço do Bitcoin não valia tanto assim e, pelo visto, ainda não vale.
Então a minha curiosidade é: Qual seria o preço do Bitcoin hoje, se isso não tivesse acontecido alguns meses atrás?!
Ou seja, a tendência deve ser o preço do Bitcoin ir voltando aos patamares de antes destas notícias, uma vez que a economia Bitcoin não está de fato, preparada para ser tão valiosa quanto dizem que ela vale.
Sendo assim, o Bitcoin vai voltar sim a ser mais valioso no futuro, talvez daqui uns dois anos, ou antes, mas tudo dependerá de reformulações no Bitcoin client, para que ele fiquei muito mais amigável e seguro (backups e etc) e, principalmente, na aceitação de Bitcoins por produtos e serviços.
O que vocês acham?!

Outro dia ví os caras no #btcguild falando sobre umas rodadas boas que rolaram lá em uma semana, mas depois ficou "ruim" novamente... E eles estavam falando sobre "a sorte"...
Estou pensando em dividir o meu garimpo de bitcoins em partes iguais, por exemplo, 25% em cada pool, como Deepbit, BTCGuild, Mineco.in e eligius.st... Assim, posso pegar a onda da sorte de cada pool...

Sobre o teu rendimento é isso mesmo que o Peao falou, isso varia conforme tua participação naquele momento, e isso não se trata apenas de sorte, mais de internet naquele momento, hardware, tudo um pouco. Procura maximizar em uma pool estavel, logo estarei trazendo meus outros miners pro Deepbit também, dai o bixo vai pegar. Quero só ver hein!!! Quem vai me passar no Deepbit?!?!! heheheheh |

I did a lot of research and reading about Solidcoin... It not bring any improvement to Bitcoin, it is just a clone of it... Plus a lot of Bitcoin defamations.
I prefer Bitcoin 100000 times than any other Shitcoin out there... Only if a new cryptocurrency brings a entire new code, new approaches, new interfaces, new markets, new miners, from scratch, I'll be interested about it... Any Bitcoin fork is just a SCAM for now...
Maybe, just maybe, in the future, a Bitcoin fork can be awesome! But not today. This is totally crap.
If you guys want to mining for Solidcoins, well, GO AHEAD!!
The Bitcoin can also be much more improved, much more safer against lose of mining power... We just do not need this feature right now...

Amanha eu vejo isso to saindo agora mais tenho que desinstala as coisas pq eu to com o cata e o msi para mexer nos clocks Crazynp, Instala o Ubuntu 11.04 (prefiro o CD ALTERNATE) na sua máquina, se tiver até 3G de RAM, instala o 32 bits, se tiver mais de 3G de RAM instala o 64 bits. Após a instalação, instala os pacotes: sudo aptitude install ssh screen Me passe o IP da sua máquina que eu conecto ae e configuro TUDO pra ti.. E você poderá acompanhar cada passo meu através do screen. Será bem melhor se você tiver dois computadores, este que vou instalar pra ti deve ficar sem monitor e ser acessado por nós dois apenas por SSH. Abx! Thiago |

Amigos, Alguém sabe me dizer porque os MHash mostrados pelos pools variam tanto?! Por exemplo, sei que tenho 3075MHash, fico monitorando o tempo inteiro os meus garimpeiros... Mas no Deepbit ou no BTCGuild, vão de 3200 a 2500 no average... Esta informação não deveria, ou não teria como, ser mais precisa não?! Pois isso acaba de deixando preocupado, quando está baixo, corro logo para ver se algum garimpeiro está quente... O que toma muito tempo... E tempo é Bitcoin!  Valeu! Thiago |
