When you say down, what do you mean exactly?  They all appear to be up and people are mining on them... not sure what might be going on as far as that goes.

I just had to take 9009 offline briefly (as well as 8337).  I put up a new server in addition to the old one.

So here are the options:

us.eclipsemc.com:8337
us.eclipsemc.com:9009
us2.eclipsemc.com:8337

I think the problem/bottleneck may be in bitcoind and not the getwork server.  That being the case, I am going to have to poke at the source code for bitcoind.  Still investigating this possibility at the moment.

Is anyone still having connection problems?

Can't connect to:

us.eclipsemc.com:8337
us.eclipsemc.com:9009

Will try us2.//

All miners down... Port 8337... Will try 9009 for the first time...
1738  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: What is the best linux, amd driver and cgminer combo right now? on: January 19, 2012, 06:12:24 PM
Can you run ubuntu 11.10 amd catalyst 11.11 and cgminer 2.08 without cpu bug and stable?

I'm looking for a nice stable combo for a new rig and want to get everything down nice and clean. I've been using linuxcoin, but I'd like just a bare linux install with drivers and mining software only.

Is this over my head if I'm a linux noob?

Thanks.

* Ubuntu 11.10 - 64 bits
* Catalyst 11.12
* NO NEED FOR SDK! Or, SDK probably included...
* CGMiner 2.1.2 binary distribution

Run export the var "GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1" to CGminer to fix the "100% CPU usage BUG".

Cheers!
Thiago

This is CRAP!

Does not work for 2 x 5970.
1739  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMiner 2.1.1 binary + Ubuntu 11.10 64 bits + Catalyst ? on: January 19, 2012, 06:11:47 PM
Ohh CRAP!!

Catalyst 11.12 solves the 100% CPU BUG for my mining rig with 2 5870...

Now, I do the SAME thing at my 2 5970 box and... Huge shit...

CGMiner says:

"ADL found more devices than opencl"

Only one GPU core of four works... Slooow... Sometimes, the machine just halt immediately...

"Catalyst 11.6 + sdk v2.4 + cgminer 2.1.2" rules, there is no better combo available for mining.

I would love to see what Catalyst version ckolivas is using at his rigs powered by Ubuntu 11.10.
