Hi!!

For Intel CPU, what should be the CFLAGS options?!

 CFLAGS = -g -O3

 --

 And for AMD?

 CFLAGS = -mtune=amdfam10 -O3 -ffast-math -mabm -msse4a -pipe

Thanks!

I love my wife!  Tongue
1905  Economy / Lending / Re: 200 BTC loan request on: December 19, 2011, 12:50:00 PM
I can pay back 210 BTC in 30 days.

sure hope you aren't counting on the btc/usd exchange rate not going up significantly.  there's already a history of borrowers who simply could not repay the loan because of exchange rate fluctuations.   we haven't heard of that over the past half year because the exchange rate direction was in the borrower's favor but the direction appears to show the rate rising once again.

Hi!

Honestly, I don't care too much about the exchange rate in the near future (i.e. next month). Because I have a 10GHash mining rig, so, I'm sure I'll pay back. Right?!   Wink

But I need the money now, my wife is about to kill me!! lol

I think that if I loan 200 BTCs, I MUST pay back at least 200 BTCs, no matter what the exchange rate is.

Thank you so much for answer my request!

Best Regards,
Thiago

Why the idea of FPGA Bitcoin Mining is stupid:

1909  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: are there speed-differences between Pools? on: December 18, 2011, 11:24:16 PM
All my mining rigs slows down if I connect to BTCGuild. I have no idea why that happens.

I'm mining at EclipseMC now. Best pool out there!  Wink

I'm using CGMiner 2.0.8, Ubuntu 11.04 64 bits, Catalyst 11.6 and SDK v2.4.

Cheers,
Thiago
1910  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Non Merged Mining Pools ? on: December 18, 2011, 11:20:11 PM
At Eclipse, you have the option of turning off your Merged Mining if you want.  https://eclipsemc.com

I think that, if somebody turn off merged mining, the pool can turn it on for itself.
So, for every user with NMC off, the pool will in fact, not disable the merged mining and stay with that namecoins.
1911  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ponto para o Linux, ponto para o Bitcoin! E ponto para o Ubuntu!!! on: December 17, 2011, 05:06:28 PM
Opa! Linux é foda!!  lol

Para atualizar o Bitcoin do 0.5.0 para o 0.5.1, basta digitar:

sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude safe-upgrade

ou:

Abrir o programa Update Manager e atualizar o sistema.

Abx!

1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which CPU blockchain should I mine, and why? on: December 17, 2011, 03:28:44 AM
Lightcoin!

Its open, has strong community support, and diversified ownership for newcomers. Mining a CPU chain for profit at this point is silly- there isn't enough volume to really make any (serious) money. The idea is to mine and participate in the community to help build the project so that one day down the road your investment will return to you. Litecoin would appreciate your interest and support.

+1

BTW, there is no reason in mining SC, since that thing is totally centralized, miners don't do nothing to protect the network... So, there is no meaning in SC mining.

I'm sorry for say what I'll say but, the fact the SC have any value, means that a lot of people are dumb. (The fact that wars exists in our world, proves that too - Most people are crazy!).

Please, I really sorry to say that and I do not want to point anybody. But this is how I see those things (SC believers)...

Do not waste your time with SC!

Best Regards!

1913  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [200 GH/s] EMC: 0 Fee/DGM/Merged Mining/PayPal Payout/SMS/US/EU/AU/More on: December 16, 2011, 02:18:53 AM
I can add income over the past 24 hours with a sliding window... I'm not sure there's any useful way to estimate future income, though, except what's there now.

Wait, why won't this simple formula work?

btc_per_day = 86400.0 * (hash_rate / 2^32) * (50.0 / difficulty)

Of course, it's subject to variance, but maybe the expected BTC per day is what Thiago is looking for? IMO, this would be more useful than seeing what I earned in the previous 24 hours.

Maybe?!?! Where that came from?!?!  LOL

^_^

Inaba,

I'm in!!! Just pointed all my rigs to this pool, looking forward to finding some blocks for all of us. I just pointed about 2.8 GH/s and will be doubling that within a few weeks.

WELCOME!!  :-D

I think that if people start to pay for pirate items, alongside with gambling and drugs, with Bitcoins, the Bitcoin price will just increase...

Sorry to run out of the topic...
1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which CPU blockchain should I mine, and why? on: December 16, 2011, 12:41:41 AM
That is right!

And, with the world's governments trying to create more and more taxes, the CryptoCurrencies will have more and more adoption.

They [govs] don't know how much they're helping us!!  lol

I hope to see MORE taxes between countries money transfers in EuroZone next year... So, more people will be here.

They [govs] are trying, more and more, besiege and control us, but, like atoms, we do not like pressure and tight places. They are desperate now. It is easy to see that. Because the status quo is about to change.

Best,
Thiago
1919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which CPU blockchain should I mine, and why? on: December 16, 2011, 12:23:38 AM
Litecoin since first day of it!!

Thanks Thiago... Litecoin it is.  SC isn't for me.  I was wondering if TBX would catch on, I guess I have my answer.

I dabbled in NMC during the summer and am holding a few for fun, but regard the DNS aspect as doa.  My primary income comes from domains (of the ICANN sort).  We can already work around any particular govt using cctld's.  If the UN gets in on the act, then NMC could be worthwhile.

I have a LTC wallet set up now and have signed up to lc.ozco.in.  Mainly because I think graet seems like a stand up guy.  Not sure which (if any) other LTC pools I should check out.  Opinions?

That leaves...

What's everyone's favorite scrypt mining program?

I am testing ArtForz's mod of cpuminer and plan to try minerd-amdfam10 too.  I've got quite a range of cpus.  Mostly 1-3 years old, sempron and core2duo.

And finally, what to do with the LTC?  I see a market on BTC-E... anywhere else?

I'm using Pool-X.eu for Litecoin mining... I never saw it offline. I am UltraX there!  :-P

The EclipseMC Bitcoin pool have BTC/NMC merge mining enabled, so, if you mine at EclipseMC and Pool-X.eu... You're with the best!  ;-)

Anyway, if you are able to earn +100 LTCs a day, you can solo mining easily... That's the reason I think that a major portion of the Litecoin hash-rate are "unknown"... Not to worry about 51% Litecoin attack... I guess...  Smiley

Cheers!

1920  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [200 GH/s] EMC: 0 Fee/DGM/Merged Mining/PayPal Payout/SMS/US/EU/AU/More on: December 15, 2011, 11:02:05 PM
Hey!! I think about this a lots of times... lol

And now, I think I know how to add the "24H Est. Reward" to "QUICK STATISTICS"!

My "24H Est. Reward" should show: 6.35489397

Which is the sum of my earn (Prop Diff) of the last day...

So, next day (00:00:01), the site updates quick statistics menu...

What do you think Inaba?!

I know that the simplecoin have this feature... You think it is hard to copy it?! If you guys don't like my suggestion...

Best!
Thiago

Never mind... This isn't a estimation... It is actually, how much I earn last day...
