sure hope you aren't counting on the btc/usd exchange rate not going up significantly. there's already a history of borrowers who simply could not repay the loan because of exchange rate fluctuations. we haven't heard of that over the past half year because the exchange rate direction was in the borrower's favor but the direction appears to show the rate rising once again. Hi! Honestly, I don't care too much about the exchange rate in the near future (i.e. next month). Because I have a 10GHash mining rig, so, I'm sure I'll pay back. Right?!  But I need the money now, my wife is about to kill me!! lol I think that if I loan 200 BTCs, I MUST pay back at least 200 BTCs, no matter what the exchange rate is. Fui eu que fiz esse site De facto é importante saber o custo de produção de cada bitcoin para não se vender abaixo disso. Em princípio irei adicionar mais umas coisas à calculadora. Agora que as FPGAs estão aí a chegar ando a pensar em maneiras de prever o aumento da dificuldade e de estimar melhor os ganhos futuros, mas não é nada simples. Há demasiadas variáveis em jogo... De qualquer maneira estou aberto a sugestões para o site  EEE mundinho pequeno!!! LOL Parabéns pelo desenvolvimento!! Já lí algumas coisas sobre o Garimpo de Bitcoins utilizando-se FPGAs e, não estou tão certo se isso irá acontecer assim tão rápido... Acredito que ainda irá demorar mais de um ano para isso se tornar realidade. E se você investe em FPGA para o garimpo e, resolve desistir e vender tudo!?? As placas de vídeo são muito mais fáceis de vender... Tem também o lance da energia renovável... Dá para instalar geradores eólicos e boas... O que você acha do seguinte post? All my mining rigs slows down if I connect to BTCGuild. I have no idea why that happens. I'm mining at EclipseMC now. Best pool out there! I'm using CGMiner 2.0.8, Ubuntu 11.04 64 bits, Catalyst 11.6 and SDK v2.4. Cheers, Thiago |

I think that, if somebody turn off merged mining, the pool can turn it on for itself. So, for every user with NMC off, the pool will in fact, not disable the merged mining and stay with that namecoins. |

Lightcoin!
Its open, has strong community support, and diversified ownership for newcomers. Mining a CPU chain for profit at this point is silly- there isn't enough volume to really make any (serious) money. The idea is to mine and participate in the community to help build the project so that one day down the road your investment will return to you. Litecoin would appreciate your interest and support.
+1 BTW, there is no reason in mining SC, since that thing is totally centralized, miners don't do nothing to protect the network... So, there is no meaning in SC mining. I'm sorry for say what I'll say but, the fact the SC have any value, means that a lot of people are dumb. (The fact that wars exists in our world, proves that too - Most people are crazy!). I can add income over the past 24 hours with a sliding window... I'm not sure there's any useful way to estimate future income, though, except what's there now.
Wait, why won't this simple formula work? btc_per_day = 86400.0 * (hash_rate / 2^32) * (50.0 / difficulty) Of course, it's subject to variance, but maybe the expected BTC per day is what Thiago is looking for? IMO, this would be more useful than seeing what I earned in the previous 24 hours. Maybe?!?! Where that came from?!?! LOL ^_^ |

Litecoin since first day of it!!
Thanks Thiago... Litecoin it is. SC isn't for me. I was wondering if TBX would catch on, I guess I have my answer. I dabbled in NMC during the summer and am holding a few for fun, but regard the DNS aspect as doa. My primary income comes from domains (of the ICANN sort). We can already work around any particular govt using cctld's. If the UN gets in on the act, then NMC could be worthwhile. I have a LTC wallet set up now and have signed up to lc.ozco.in. Mainly because I think graet seems like a stand up guy. Not sure which (if any) other LTC pools I should check out. Opinions? That leaves... What's everyone's favorite scrypt mining program? I am testing ArtForz's mod of cpuminer and plan to try minerd-amdfam10 too. I've got quite a range of cpus. Mostly 1-3 years old, sempron and core2duo. And finally, what to do with the LTC? I see a market on BTC-E... anywhere else? I'm using Pool-X.eu for Litecoin mining... I never saw it offline. I am UltraX there! :-P The EclipseMC Bitcoin pool have BTC/NMC merge mining enabled, so, if you mine at EclipseMC and Pool-X.eu... You're with the best! ;-) Anyway, if you are able to earn +100 LTCs a day, you can solo mining easily... That's the reason I think that a major portion of the Litecoin hash-rate are "unknown"...
