Big problem I have in life is trying to figure out what the components on these boards *are*. I can make assumptions based on signal input/output, size, and overall position in the communications chain (for example the U204 components at the top left of the board. They are signal level converters, but finding them with a 3 character ID is a damn bitch). Likewise the crystals, the numbers on them don't seem to make much sense.
Anyone got good pointers to identifying these various components? I've pretty much fuzzed out the board, so we don't need the schematic so much as the bill of parts.

'qberty' put wrong crystals so Lightfoot can't fix that.
Where it is in the picture ?

So no one says something about 'qberty' This guy literally ate me 0.40 btc for 2 crap titan bridges. Put him a negative trust, if it makes you feel better. I lost 2 BTC with him, becoming 10 not working product. Mistakes happen. I still believe that it is repairable.

Actually, Bitmain is planning to release a miner that will make home mining profitable again due to its low power consumption. Why does OP want to buy S9 when Bitmain just released the new R4? It has a higher hashing power and consumes less electricity - you will make more profit that way.

Nowadays, mining is not as profitable as it used to be at the beginning, still it is sort of like a passive income to earn some money along the way. So I'm just curious to know if you're making decent profit mining Bitcoin or altcoins. By the way, HashFlare will be adding Dash mining soon so I think it wil be pretty great to buy some hashrate (although, I'm not pretty sure if the service is a scam though) HashFlare is scam from Russian thugs living in Estonia and the use of registered compani in Estonia. theirs is HashCoins Read Mo dre about HashCoins https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=417623.0

So is the PSU included?
Power supply is extra. Best estimates are $1000 for the miner and $300 for PSU (may change.) Kudos to you bringing the news up first! Does anyone know if the A2 terminator can be used with the newer Model B+ raspberry pi? My model A PI has stopped working but I have a PI B+ sitting around. However the older PI's have 26 GPIO pins and the newer ones have a lot more....
We can change. I send you Pi you send me PI+ Shipping from EU (estonia)

... would someone on here want them? Can I pull out the PSU's and use them on other units? ...
Thank you
It this from Batch1 , than Yes. 9x PCI-E I use one with PCI-E splitter for testing last S7 Antminers. I bought this with S4 miner back for 20 euro. It was with Bitmain sent replacements PSU. Thank Bitmain , at one time i payd only for PSU 60 euro VAT to get it from Custom. I wish that I could use this displey with controller for some more recent Antminer

I get that - everyone has their comfort zones.
I'll sell for best offer. I need these sold soon.
It does not have anything to do with comfort. If you sell in Bitcointalk forum, then we use escrow from this forum. If you sell in own "home" forum , and I find a sales advertisement, then we use your forum rules. My offer is still valid. But before I still want to see images. Post here pictures from miner Advanced page. After that I can make best or better offer.

About the pics of the replacement boards they sent you... What's with 2 of them having a very deliberate looking pattern of no heatsinks on the PCB side? Related to if they are supposed to be center or outside boards?
Also note that that lil' ferrite I mentioned earlier is properly placed on all the replacements.
I do not have those before. I think it's just a new design. Is in the ferrite somewhere in S7 hashchboard too? I have some S7 hashboards with fallen radiators with chips.

So you have 4 bad hash boards, three have been successfully replaced. Just out of curiosity, what batch of S9's are these bad boards coming from?
I total have/had 6 not working and one half working S9 Hashboard. 1. 650 Mhz miner From Batch 1 0012016053100149 (arrived one board D.O.A.) shipping costs to china 70 euro. It took about 43 days to get it back Replaced. 2. 550 Mhz miner - order 0012016070100165 First only xxxxx for this board, after restart board disappeared. Replaced, shipped Back 3. 600 Mhz miner - order 0012016061800111 First all xxx after restart less xxx , Blade not working. Replaced, shipped back 4. 650 Mhz miner - order 0012016053100149 Bach1 Hash board not working , Repaired, Replaced shipped Back 5. 650 Mhz from B1 - order 0012016053100169 Bach1 Center board first xxxx after restart no board in web , board just disappeared. Bitmain refused to repair , missed PIN 6. From 600Mhz miner First all 3 boards wit xxxx , after restart one board simply disappeared Not shipped yet 7. From 600Mhz miner only 1 x X Hashboard is from the same miner as above Not shipped yet it would be nice to know what "PIN is lost in circuit board" actually means.
Barring knowing this, and considering that this is most likely the correct board here is a thought: is it possible that some all thumbs guy at HK customs was the one who did it? I see this as a possibility considering that @Tupsu took pictures and packed it well. This, or the tech at HK repair shop dropped it. They will never admit it, though. What a disaster!
EDIT: four boards out of 69? This is about 6%. Way too high a number for a miner that can breakeven in a year, maybe.
Make a new estimate. Not 6% "only" 6 hashboards from 23 miner + one bord with one X
