521  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FS - KNC TITANS on: August 11, 2016, 09:51:56 AM
Been kicking tires with some users but I thought before proceeding I would put these out there to see if there are any solid bites.

I got 4 Titan cubes that, while have been in use for over a year, are about as mint as you can get on the outside.  They don't run particularly hot and all dies are perfect.  Hashing at a steady 322-326MH/s for one year now without any hiccups, with the exception of pool probs.

I'm not looking to sell the PSUs, but if required we can talk bundling.

Escrow is probably fine - I'd be more interested in using a reputable escrow agent from HardForums as that's where I have a lot more experience and more comfort.

Feel free to check my Heatware/eBay as well.

If I'm going to sell, I'd like to sell ASAP.  I'm not holding/reserving.

I can accept BTC and LTC at this time.  Possibly Paypal but that remains to be seen.

Price is 3.75BTC shipped to continental USA.
3.5BTC if you can pickup near Denver, CO.

I will take this - Price is 3.75BTC shipped to continental USA. - shipped to FL

Post here pictures from miner Advanced page.

523  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S7 & PSU with warranty for only $320/miner on: August 10, 2016, 04:55:40 PM
Legally in the U.S., if you pay for an item, you're supposed to get it working.  They are supposed to pay for shipping return if it arrives not working.  But since this is from China, it's a bit hard to get them to conform to U.S. laws.

As for warranty, I'm not sure of this but isn't a length of time not start from the purchase date but from the date it arrives when shipped?

Warranty:

1. A 90-day warranty is provided starting from the shipping date. To avail this warranty a Repair ticket must be generated by the customer on Bitmain's website. Overclocking the miner will void the warranty immediately.

524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Who has miners gathering dust and is willing to point them at a bitcoin spinoff? on: August 10, 2016, 11:36:38 AM
Single user hashrate cap? no one user can hash over 50TH/s on this proposed fork. Something like that to ensure that no huge farms mess everything up in your new Utopian society?

How do you guarantee that?  Ehe second user, the second address  and again 50 THs .

Me myself would have been necessary to 5 users for 250 THs home mining.
This of course does not mean that I will take part from this. I mine BTC not some "fork"coin.

526  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: ASIC miners on: August 10, 2016, 11:17:27 AM
I am interested in buying an ASIC miner but I do not know what is a good price to buy one that is used and what is the price of a new one. I also want to know where can I buy one online with shipping worldwide. I am considering buying with fiat, not Bitcoin, PayPal or stuff like that.

527  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S7 & PSU with warranty for only $320/miner on: August 10, 2016, 10:32:53 AM

Yes @BoblawBlaw, if the product returned by the customer is damaged or broken beyond repair, it is NOT covered by Bitmain's warranty policy.

BITMAIN- when a miner arrives with one board D.O.A.  and your servicer confirms it,  Why do I have to pay for the return D.O.A  item?

And I want real guarantees, not the 10% coupon instead of that.

I have bought a total of 21 x S9   from them 11xS9 from Batch1

Yesterday stopped working  again one miner center board from Batch5 miner.  This time fiirst from freq 600 miners, what I have total only 4 pcs.

In total from 21 miners I have 4 not working blades.

Three of them are midle(center) boards.   Pretty sure this is not normal.

The radiators are in their place and no burning marks.  Quite certainly, this is design flaw.

I do not think that downcloking helps. I do not have a warm room, and we are currently in outdoors of 17 degrees Celsius.

I have one not working center blade from 650, 600 and even 550 freg miner.
4 blade was not in center, but was D.O.A.

Bitmain- make from S9 normal product . Only 2 blades and long radiators like S7 LN has.

...They come with a one-month warranty from Bitmain ...

One month warranty from shipping date means only 23-25 days real warranty,  not one-month.
531  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: August 08, 2016, 09:13:03 AM
Does anyone know when Bitmain will be releasing new batches of the S9?  It has been about a month since they ran out.  Does anyone know what is going on?

Thanks!

I think he should be here soon with the new model.

S9 is dead for me.

Last week stopped working 2 x S9 miners center boards.  One from 650 model and one from 550 model. It was in the most cool place. The chips temperature was never above 95 degrees Celsius. At first, only xxxxxxxx After  restart board completely disappeared. This is not normal.

From 21 miners are three with broken boards.  This is too much.

I paid a total  for sending 3x S9 boards to  warranty  about 210 euro.

Batch 1 miner's warranty will be over soon .  What happens next ? How much does a repair charge after warranty ?

If Bitmain does not change its warranty policy, then I will not buy more S9.

Why do I have to pay for sending the miner parts, when it arrived with D.O.A. board ?

Why it took 45 days for  repair and  shipping one board?

Finally, they never sent me back  my board. I got back board with another serial number, and other design.
532  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: August 07, 2016, 03:50:18 PM
Well as it seems 0 have been sold ... now I can elaborate, we have bought more than 300 S3, S3+, S5, S5+, S7, in total since we started buying for Bitmaintech, we have sent back countless machines for repair, we never got any of them repaired under warranty excuses are so many that we didn't ever bother replying to them.  The only time we did get our machines back is when we were buying throw cybtc.com and they were taking care of running after Bitmain.  We have stopped mining because of them, in the end we NEVER got our money back.

Reasons:

- Delay in Delivery and as we all know in mining time is money.

- Price always way too expensive for logical ROI and raise of difficulty.

- Many machine broken way before ROI was reached.

- Communication with tech support is really bad, no matter what is always our fault.

- We cannot test machines in China because if they ship into China before we ship out, we must pay 17% Tax.

- When machines reach our destination it costs a fortune to ship back.

It is true we do not have choice but to buy from them, Avalon doesn't compete we all know that, there are no other ASIC miners except them.

When speaking with them they simply act like "THE ALL MIGHTY" is simple from my point of view, we know they mine with those machines before they ship them is obvious, so please at least respect us when is perfectly known that those machines are not new.

If you do not want to sell simply do not sell, but selling and having a complete lack of respect for fellow customer is not Honorable.

Chinese can buy but please price is almost 30% more expensive than export price be serious, they know no one buys in China also please pay attention that 12.7T was completely unstable and not sold in China due to buring boards and high temp.

So those of you who are criticizing what is said here, let me know who didn't have those kind of issues???

What the hell do you posting the same text  in two different thread ?
First  first read about posting rules.

534  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: hi guys i have electric 3 phase how much can i put each 1 phase take miners s9 on: August 07, 2016, 11:01:23 AM
thanks everyone for the help

i have 3 phase each with 80A switch for each phase
the street fuse has 100A for Each phase
in this case how many miner can i load for each phase

thanks

13 miners (1300W) on each phase (230V)

Total 39 miners . But the 80A main fuse can begin to turn off , without extra cooling. I recommend  a separate cooling fan for main fuse or less miners.

What's interesting is that if you shop for "Bitmain on Google", no S9 miners are sold.
..

Are you sure you know how  use Google ?

https://www.google.ee/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=wFymV_LGA4vZ8AengorwAg&gws_rd=ssl#q=antminer+S9+bitmaintech

Sorry, I had the make it clear to retards option, off.

To clearly elucidate this thought: https://support.google.com/trustedstores/answer/1669901?hl=en

For example, if you purchase stuff from Newegg, at the very end of the order, Google offers this free purchase protection.

Bitmain is not a google trusted store, thus no Google purchase protection.

The meta point is that unlike many retailers, BITMAIN doesn't appear to sell the S9 directly on ebay or amazon and neither are they a Google trusted store. This is a customer unfriendly indicator.

Not the whole world does not orbit around the big companies of America.
I do not have a Google Account and have never had a Facebook account.

Maybe you know some Google trusted store where the only payment options is BTC and USD transfer ?
Bitmain not want credit cards and PayPal payments.
As some eBay sellers BITMAIN say :
1.Order cancellation or refund request will not be entertained by Bitmain. We advise you to make any payment only after careful consideration.
2. All sales are final. No refunds will be granted. Defective miners can be repaired for free if they fall under the Bitmain warranty policy.

Why should Bitmain  need some  google "trust" ?
If the Bitmaintech store  does not fit, do not buy it.

You can buy at a higher price from "trusted store" , However, this trust does not give by Bitmain,  because Bitmain  does not have official dealers.

I know only this link

Yesterday I sent back one not working S9 Batch1  blade.

Good luck - they will tell you that YOU broke it when sending it back - that's what they said to me.

Maybe we can start a class action suit against them if they pull this stunt to lots of people.
Want to join in a lawsuit against them?

I f**king can't stand people who steal my money. I will get them somehow.

Do you find it difficult to post the picture of the blade here ?
This link can only you open.
