I'm going to ask on this thread because I asked in the promo one and received no reply: Hi, does anyone know when the giveaway gets deposited?
I wasnt too bothered but I've just checked that the first time I wrote on this thread was August 7 and I haven't been deposited any satoshi in my 777coin account .
I think it's too long.
I wasn't too worried about this and wasn't even bumping the thread every day but recently I realized that no giveaway had been deposited. Can anyone help?

I think the issue here is that mass adoption is not going to go hand in hand with anonymity. If crypto is to be mass adopted, most users are going to be identified by governments. There always be some people using decentralised exchanges and escaping from Governments' control but just the same way as most cash transactions are declared and there are a percentage of them that escape from Governments' hands.

This analysis confirms the increasing trend of the bitcoin price. In my opinion we will see an ATH in the coming months, but I wish I could already assure it. Past performance does not guarantee future performance. We don't know if any future events, will bring the price down, as happened with COVID in March.

Hi @CryptopreneurBrainboss, could you check if everything is correct on the spreadsheet regarding me?
As I joined in the middle of the week I wasn't sure if I was going to be paid on this round.
When I look at the spreadsheet I see: "new 25/9" and 0 posts counted. So I've thought that the posts I've written since I joined would count for the next round.
But then I see another fellow member who joined on the same date and he has posts counted. I'm referring to Bagiira.
So, I think something is wrong with me. I wrote more than 15 posts since I joined till Sunday.
I'm not too bothered, as it's just pennies, but please have a look.

If you stupid enough to believe people are going to give money away then you deserve to be scammed I am sorry. This doesn't make crypto look bad at all. All the crypto scams have fiat versions too. Investments and some banks also scam people and then go under. This happens in the fiat world too. It's almost like some people think scams never existed until bitcoin.
I agree. I've just said something similar in another post. As for victims of scams, some of them may just be naive people so I fell sorry for them. In many other cases they are greedy people who believe they are very smart so I don't feel sorry at all and I think, like you, that they got what they deserved.

Here everything is regulated by the "The Pharmacist's mafia" & Foxpup's Gangs. All ranks & merit are selling at private channels.
Sometimes it seems that the forum was created by these same scammers to deceive people. I chase away this thought every day with varying degrees of success
I'd like to try that weed/LSD you are taking. I'd like to have hallucinations like that.

Strong regulation may help a bit but there are also many scams with fiat, so I don't think it's going to solve the problem. The same would happen with linking an identity.
I don't know about Concordium but some of us want cryptocurrencies that have a certain degree of anonimity. I can do electronic payments with fiat money, even central banks are planning to create fiat cryptocurrencies.
If cryptos are to succeed it is because they are essentially different from fiat electronic payments.

Economy / Speculation / Re: $1 Billion in Bitcoin Options Expire Friday.
|
on: September 26, 2020, 10:22:45 AM

Sooo friday passed. Nothing happened. This options expiration was a big nothing.
The media writes articles to attract attention and cause emotions, so you read an article like that and the first thing you think is: will the price of bitcoin go down? will it go up? If you read it right, it didn't say anything. It's funny beause at first it seems that it could have an impact on bitcoin price but then it says it could make the price go up, or down or " could also have very little impact at all".
LOL
So, we have no idea where bitcoin price it's going to go, at least in the short-term.

I don't think the real problem here is gambling. People like OP's friend, if gambling didn't exist, they would develop that compulsive behavior with another addiction. Those people have a problem within themselves and their gambling behavior (or another kind of problematic behavior) is the effect of the problem they have. Although gambling (or taking drugs) can worsen that problem.

Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto?
|
on: September 26, 2020, 02:30:56 AM

They do not prefer cash in all cases. I have seen cases of kidnapping for ransom in bitcoin. For those cases I understand that bitcoin is superior, because the kidnappers don't have to physically go anywhere to collect the ransom and can move the money much more easily.
For retail drug sales, for example, cash is better.

They are right then. Has anyone ever tried a lottery simulator? Try this one: https://www.cuandomevaatocar.com/en/You can really see there how lottery is a EV- game. You'd better put your money somewhere else. The only thing that can be positive about the lottery is the big prizes, which if you win can change your life. But the odds are so low that it's easier to get hit by lightning a couple of times on the same day.

It saddens my soul anytime I get to read or experience suicide incident. My believe is that regardless of any situation or condition we might find ourselves, suicide should never be an option. Many people had been in a condition worst than what we could be passing through. I once read a story of a man that lost his wife and three kids to ghastly accident, still he stayed strong, only few conditions could be worst than that. Suicide is never an option and it won't be an option regardless of what we are going through. In my local dialect, there is an adage that says ' a fowl that is not dead could still peck grains'
It takes a lot more bravery to fight instinct and kill yourself then it does to rob someone because you are hungry. I would not call it bravery but despair in most cases. I have had two close cases of people committing suicide and from what I know of their circumstances it was despair that led them to it.
