You can see the market is going down, question is when will it stop.

It's time to start buying

Anyone remember the time when you could buy below $3 and sell above $3 and always make a profit?
It's back... except now it's buy at $6.25 and sell at $7.2. I wonder how long this will last...

I think we're stuck in the $6 range because someone huge is cashing out. Eventually they'll run out of money and we'll keep going up again.

mpr = monthly percentage rate? (i.e., compound monthly)?
This is correct.

I bought physical Bitcoins from Memory Dealers in early December to give as gifts to co-workers. I paid via credit card. Because of the CC fees, shipping, etc (all of which is fair for MD) they cost about $6.10 each. Bitcoin at the time was about $3 (my memory may well be wrong).
But it was awfully cool to pass out those coins and say "Bitcoin was $3 when I bought this, but now it's $6".
I see that many of those co-workers still have that coin on their desk. But we're a software shop, they know what cryptography is, what peer to peer means, and we use LOTS of open source, so I hope that at least 1 or 2 of them will "see the light".
As far as MY workplace goes, if we could get some Magic The Gathering tie in, we'd get them all!
oh nice! Glad to see people doing this.

That's from Nov 27th, 2011. This was the same clip that was on my DVR from today's show. I guess it was a re-run. oh, ok. Publicity, but not too exciting

I think I'll stop watching the price. I saw it sliding back to 6.7 for the 9001st time today and it's really getting old. Fucking DO SOMETHING!

Today I made a new little update of the Tool. - containing the calculator which is far away from being perfect, but could help - now input-fields are restricted to only that kind of data which should be placed into them - you can jump now from field to field (top to bottom and then next column) by using tabulator-key - minor bugfixes - some layout-changes
This is still really far away from my spreadsheet, but that one would not fit into this window. I think I would make a seperate Tool for that.
Some things still need improvements: - the calculator is still synchronized with the data-update. This would be better if synchronizing instantly during changing the data AND during updates. Working on this... - also the second field, which allows to calculate the $ ammount back to BTC instead of the static $ output. Working on this... - still missing the preferences for sound - ok. I saw the comment about the refresh timer and this could be a good Idea. IŽll what I can do next time.
Hope you like it! ;-)
Does the calculator take depth into account?

Relax guys. I'm the biggest long-term bull around, but I don't want to call a rally right now... it's a bit precarious.

There's been a fair bit of commentary on the lack of interest from the housewives who make up the majority of the show's audience. Some people have quoted these people talking about superficial things and completely ignoring the point of the episode.
Despite this, we must realize that although nobody could expect interest from all of the show's viewers, new attention did materialize... a Google/Wikipedia spike actually happened, and the episode garnered a fair bit of publicity (including a mention on Fox Business) and business as well (BitPay's new client). The episode was a good bit more effective than I and many others thought it would be, and has definitely been a good thing for Bitcoin.

I say what you should do is create an extremely simple forum that can be created in 20 minutes, and then add functionality every day until it is perfect and secure. Like look at this tutorial: http://phpeasystep.com/phptu/12.htmlI can probably set that up for you guys, and then having the code simple and easy to work on, you could add all types of functionality. If you're building this custom forum spec based on a tutorial, you're not the right person for this job. Just putting my two cents in as a professional web applications developer. that post had me cracking up
