I've been watching the depth to $7... it's gone down from about 25k to 16.7k. We saw something similar with depth to $6 yesterday.
20k to 7.35, 40k to 9.90.
We just broke a major resistance line... a spike to $6.4 will touch off another run up.

I anticipate bringing tons of them to keep them stocked up just in case. I will probably bring several dozen 1000 BTC bars, and numerous 25 and 100 BTC items. Who knows what'll sell, but everything that sells is going to see an offsetting transaction on MtGox.

After a large and rapid increase in price it would be natural, almost expected to see quite a few people take profits off the table and dump the price to somewhere in the low to mid $5 range.
For those traders who anticipate higher prices in the very near future, I would ask why that is so? What's happened to bitcoin in the last week to make it rise so far and so quickly? Apart from change in sentiment, was any new product or service announced? Did the fundamentals change?
After a gigantic correction from June prices, it would be natural, almost expected, to see a rally that retraces some of the correction, if not all of it. For those traders who anticipate lower prices: did the fundamentals change since June? What's happened to bitcoin to make it fall so far? Answer: scammers and hackers. However, I think speculators are beginning to realize that incompetent exchanges, scammers or mybitcoin are not the end of bitcoin, and that the bitcoin technology is sound. There are many new services since June and media exposure is rising again. |

The last screenshot is showing someone who shorted for 14150 BTC.
Anybody want to squeeze him up ? Nicely shaped ascending triangle at $6.25 plus shrinking ask depth. I hope he closed that position. With decreasing ask depth to 7 (only 16k atm) and an ascending triangle, this situation is getting interesting. |

Seriously?! Wow, that's one of the best spots I can image to bring this technology to the media and to more people. Loads of smart and technically inclined people, who will definitely understand this much faster and see the benefits it can bring. Kudos to Bit-Pay! Let's hope the media coverage will be good  +1... that's amazing :O this is as early and best signal as anyone could have - get on board now till it's too late current exchange rates will look ridiculously low in a few months With the TV show and the CES booth, I think we are heading in the direction of new highs.
