2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this true that GOOGLE will ban the ICO and crypto related ads? on: March 11, 2018, 07:03:31 AM
no it is not true, these days price is dropping so everyone is coming up with weird reports of someone banning bitcoin LOL. and none of them are true.
besides there is no reason for Google to do such a thing anyways. bitcoin in US which Google is based in, is growing bigger and bigger every day ever since last year they started adding Futures trading in a couple of their big markets including CME group and NASDAQ.  while this is happening a company like Google is not going to ban bitcoin news.

what they may do is to ban anything related to ICOs because they are scam and the method of fund raising they use is illegal anyways but that has nothing to do with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your Worst losing streak at bitcoin dice with 1.5 payout? on: March 11, 2018, 06:49:06 AM
don't be fooled by any numbers when it comes to gambling.

as someone who has tried lots of 2x bets (which is similar to any other multiplier) and also asked others how much their losing streaks lasted, I have to tell you that no matter what number is the record, there can always be more.
for example if you figure out that the Guinness World Record of losing streak with 1.5 payout is 30 reds in a row, you can have 31 if you try it and the next round you can have 32 and so on.
2303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want ask about price bitcoin on: March 11, 2018, 06:32:53 AM
what is the lowest bitcoin at the moment?
go to a website that is reporting the price like http://preev.com and see what the price is at any moment!

if you want the lowest price to buy bitcoin at, then it depends on where you go to buy and what method you choose to buy. exchanges usually have the same price more or less in similar currencies, for example price is nearly the same in USD but in other currencies like INR it may be different and much higher (it reached to 40% higher than USD value!).
as for method using p2p methods usually costs more.

whether to return to the price as early as 2017?
nobody can tell for sure, but since nothing about bitcoin has changed and the adoption for it is still ongoing I'd say it will be at $20k and then rise even more beyond that eventually.
2304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in darknet on: March 11, 2018, 06:24:46 AM
Why don't you just purchase camera's on the clearweb though? Not sure if you still can, but I think you can still purchase items on Amazon using bitcoin through purse.io.

https://purse.io/

Only reason I could see is that he wanted to stay anonymous during the purchase of it, somrthing I wouldn't really understand but I mean if you really don't want people to know I'd go to a local electronics store and buy in cash. Bitcoin is going to be a bit of a nusisance when it comes to staying anon compared to cash.

If you want to just buy the item with Bitcoin, then yeah Purse'll work fine.

when purchasing a physical good which needs delivery online, you are not anonymous no matter where you buy that object from and what method of payment you use. you have to give them your address to receive that item that you bought and that is defeating the whole purpose of it!

what I don't get is why darknet?! nobody uses bitcoin on darknet anymore. and there are no legal things on there anyways.
2305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do you still support Bitcoin when it's technology is clearly inferior? on: March 11, 2018, 06:16:40 AM
because there is no "superior" technology than what bitcoin is using. altcoins are either exact or poorer copy of bitcoin which means they have the same problems or even worse problems because of the changes they did thinking they are improving.
or some altcoins are using different technologies which improve things but not by that much so to be called "superior".

and your whole argument is based on fees but the fees of altcoins can go up if they are used as much as bitcoin is used!
imagine bitcoin is a bridge with 2000 cars passing it every 10 minutes. the bridge is standing up and can handle the weight of these cars.
in this example altcoins with lower fees are like another bridge with a different structure which is saying it can handle 100000000 cars passing it but in reality only 1 car every hour passes it. so you think that bridge can handle the weight of that many cars.
2306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if bitcoin can be used in buying online game items ? on: March 10, 2018, 02:03:54 PM
when we are talking about bitcoin's usage in some thing, two things are required.
first which is the most important step is the users' willingness to use bitcoin in that "thing" (online games here). if people don't want to spend their bitcoin at all, then adding it to an online game or gaming platform changes nothing and it won't happen in first place because there is no "demand for it". so we have to first see if there demand or not. and I think there is because Steam and the reports from BitPay support this.

second is the platforms willingness to add bitcoin. sometimes these places resist change and don't want to change what is good and working. their mind can change if they see the demand is high enough. again like Steam where the demand for bitcoin payment was pretty high so they gave in and started accepting bitcoin.
2307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about bitcoin's dominance over whole crypto market? on: March 10, 2018, 01:52:33 PM
1. over 40% now, do you think this percentage will keep going?
2. what will happen if % drops, is this a positive or negative sign for you?

only the altcoin pumpers care and advertise the market cap and call it "dominance". and this started with the biggest premine altcoin of our time called Ethereum. they premined it and then pumped it to get the first position not they are abusing market capitalization to say they are "number 2" (pun intended)

nobody who matters, cares about this so called "dominance" because they understand that market capitalization is completely meaningless and is this way because of thousands of shitcoins and many high value shitcoins among the "top 10".
2308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your Trading process? Tips and anything? on: March 10, 2018, 08:10:23 AM
I rarely trade bitcoin. I usually only buy bitcoin and hold, try buying it in the major dips. but sometimes when there is a huge rise or I fear a big drop thanks to lots of FUD and things like that I sell all my coins and bitcoins to have money ready to buy the dip so that I can increase the amount of bitcoin that I hold.

but I mostly trade altcoins, and for that I only invest in those that are good candidates for a good pump. and there always are at least a couple that can be chosen for short term investment before their pumps come and I will dump them just as fast to get the profit out.
2309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is There Any Cyclicality in BTC Prices on: March 10, 2018, 07:17:10 AM
good question and I have also been thinking about this myself for a while.
my conclusion is that there are patterns out there but they are not reliable and also they may not be repeated. for example the first months of every year are known to be slower and we see drops in those months but at the same time it doesn't mean every year it has to be repeated.
same with short term and weekends. for a long time people have been saying price drops during weekends but that is not always t rue. so it is not reliable.
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are banned? on: March 10, 2018, 06:36:52 AM
Some banks and corporations said they’re halting purchases of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on their credit cards.
this does NOT mean bitcoin is banned!
the only thing this means is that some company or bank decided they don't want to offer certain services. you can simply stop using those companies or banks and switch to some other places!

Quote
Some says that allowing purchases of cryptocurrencies can create big headaches for lenders, which can be left on the hook if a borrower bets wrong and can’t repay.
this is 100% pure bullshit because that is why credit cards exist in first place and the credit card companies know this and are doing it because it is very profitable for them, specially if you can't repay on time.
they are pretending it is because of this to hide the fact that they are scared of bitcoin.
2311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All bitcoin private keys listed. But it's just for fun. on: March 10, 2018, 06:26:46 AM
Is this real though? Don't know how this would work if it is.

define "real"? Cheesy
the way it works is that you give it a number or a series of numbers for example on page 1 the numbers are from 1 to 20 and on page 2 the numbers are from 21 to 40. then the page simply takes these numbers and converts them into base58 private key with a very simply code.

the  code is this one: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Wallet_import_format
the number #1 step in the link above is that number in hex format! instead of clicking on this link you can write a simple script that does that for you if you are so interested in wasting time Wink
2312  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 09, 2018, 01:16:54 PM
the house edge of the multiply BTC hi-lo games is just too high that
i lost my around 23.000 satoshi
the good side is that those are from free claim and from playing the game.
the bad thing is I lost about two months effort Grin Grin

it is true that the house edge is higher than other dice gambling sites, but 5% is not really that big. and besides you would have lost your 23,000 satoshi even if there were no house edge (meaning 0%) because that is how dice works, you sometimes get unlucky and get on a losing streak and all your efforts will be gone in a fast swoop!
2313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you..? on: March 09, 2018, 01:07:42 PM
When the crypto market collapses and loses most of it's value, then will you probably:

based on the things you have in your signature and also this question alone, you are either an idiot who never understood what is going on and have been losing money in cryptocurrency market or you are simply an idiot who is bored and wants to troll.

in any case when you lose money it is your own fault.
and when you see a price drop and the first thing you think of is "collapse" it shows that you should not be involved in this market because you will continue to lose money.
2314  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason behind the current crash? on: March 09, 2018, 12:32:32 PM

Yes, it is true!
IMO in the next month we will be back as usual and the price will look back to normal.
we just need to fix small mistakes, so that we always be given a profit.
this situation makes traders panic, but this is very profitable for investors.

But what is "normal", some people seem to think it is around $400.

when it comes to speculating about bitcoin price, "thinking" and a "saying what you think" are two very different things in most cases.
most people think something else and that is how they are trading but they say something completely different which is usually an exaggerated version of what they are really thinking. for example when someone things price will fall to $9000 and he actually places buy orders at $9000, he will then tell everyone how bitcoin is going to drop to $5000 because he wants his order to be filled.
and that works the other way around too, when they want to sell they say how it is going to $500k!
2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world? on: March 09, 2018, 12:12:53 PM
the answer to your long wall of text and all the numbers without reference is a very simple question:
what do you think bitcoin does?

all the talk about how much bitcoin is consuming energy and all the FUD that you added in your title about the "works destroying" is meaningless when you think about the things that this decentralized cryptocurrency known as bitcoin is providing us.

what you said is like you going to a bank and shouting at them that they are destroying the world with one of those signs on a stick saying "the end is nigh" because they have lamps, computers,... on in their branch and they are using electricity...
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 the best year for bitcoin and 2018 the worst ?? on: March 09, 2018, 12:05:31 PM
it is true that so far (meaning in past 2 months LOL) 2018 didn't have a huge rise and no moon was seen until now but that still doesn't make 2018 the worst year, it is not even a bad year for bitcoin either. it is just a normal year so far where the start of the year is a little slow with some downward drop specially since 2017 had one of the biggest rises in history of bitcoin.
other than that, the year is still young and the price is still high and it will start rising at some point making you happy!
2317  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN AND ITS ENDING? on: March 09, 2018, 12:00:32 PM
everything comes to an end, even Gold will some day become useless when we can find a way to substitute it in different usages (jewelries, electronics, medical,...) with something else with better characteristics.
but the question is how long will it take until that day comes? 100 years? 1000 years? so why should you even ask such a question about the "end" where things are just getting started?
2318  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling with faucet on: March 08, 2018, 08:39:21 AM
you will have an easier time and a much smaller list if you find gambling sites that do not have a faucet because almost all of them have a faucet specially if you are looking for dice sites which they definitely have a faucet for you.

What is the largest amount you gained from these faucets? To me they do not appear worthwhile.
faucets are only worthwhile for those who farm them, well not exactly worthwhile sine most of them get caught and their accounts will be blocked but the reason why most people are using faucets is to farm them otherwise it is only for testing some strategy or testing the platform and see how things work and if there is a bug or something like that.
2319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let me tell you exactly what's gonna happen on: March 08, 2018, 07:51:04 AM
I think your target for ETH is way too high. If it is to do like litecoin in 2014, then it will bottom around $30

but the difference is that litecoin's supply is a lot more logical than ethereum's. it has less supply which is all distributed without any premine while ETH had a 72 million coins premined. additionally litecoin has a cap and with each halving there will be less and less new coins created. while ETH not only has no cap but also has a huge supply already!
I say it has to drop below $10.
2320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why this panic selling is good on: March 08, 2018, 07:24:24 AM
to be honest I don't think we can call this a "panic sell" anymore because price is still between the same two price levels that it has been all this time after the massive initial real "panic sell" to the bottom. and the lowest that price went was $9400ish which has been the bottom for the past (nearly) 1 month.

if price dropped to $8k range then you could have called it a panic sell. so far I call this the same as before and the reason is because price couldn't break $12k resistance so everyone cashed out to get ready for it again.
