2061  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex trash new layout on: April 17, 2018, 10:36:23 AM
who cares about the layout of the exchange website when the owners are scammers?
here is the link to the profile of the owner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=96390
follow the links and see for yourselves that it doesn't matter how their interface looks, your funds are at a serious risk. they may not scam you today but at any time in the future if they encounter another money problems they will scam you to cover their asses...
2062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should bitcoin rise and fall? on: April 17, 2018, 09:42:25 AM
It is true that money should be used in day-to-day needs to be stable, and I think that bitcoin is great for savings or investments.

wanting bitcoin price to be stable at this point is like wanting a toddler to run in the marathon!

bitcoin is still that toddler who is in its early stages of lifetime. it needs a lot of time and growth before being ready for that marathon and have a stable price. good news is that if you look at the past 9 years you can see that bitcoin has been on the correct path to become more stable and have less volatility and be prepared to be used as a day to day currency.
2063  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the Crypto market be next week? on: April 17, 2018, 09:27:13 AM
I think it depends on bitcoin price and how that will move in the following week! I am personally expecting a slow rise but if you are unlucky as an altcoin bag holder then bitcoin may start a big rally and break the $10k level with a big rise. in which case you will see a lot of altcoin dumps and you will lose a lot of money because of that since people tend to leave altcoins behind during bitcoin rises and focus all their money on bitcoin investment until bitcoin stabilizes.
2064  Economy / Speculation / Re: The weekly trading volume of bitcoin in Venezuela reached $ 55 million. on: April 17, 2018, 09:03:04 AM
They seem to be pushing Petro quite aggressively though, and them banning the competition in the future is quite a real possibility in my opinion. I guess we'll see though, as their government clearly believes that accepting crypto will help their economy improve.

I think it may actually be because of Petro that bitcoin adoption is growing this much in Venezuela!
whenever they are advertising their Petro coin they are also advertising the blockchain technology and the thing that started it all meaning bitcoin. also they have been educating people a lot over the past few months with a lot of programs in their country and that helps with the awareness and knowledge about blockchain technology and also bitcoin.
on top of it when people learn more and see the differences that a decentralized currency like bitcoin is offering they will surely want to get involved with it. as a result we have this kind of big surges in adoption.
2065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: samsung is riding the blockchain train on: April 17, 2018, 08:52:53 AM
People talk a lot of how archaic banks are, but I must say that the shipping industry is probably even worse. There are always a huge number of papers involved in each transaction (like clear payments, contracts, inventory, etc), so I'm sure the blockchain will make a huge difference for this business, and this move from Samsung doesn't surprise me. They are actually very committed to the blockchain, by first entering the asic industry, and will now actually use the blockchain technology to simplify their shipping department.

I don't think that much is going to change about this. there will still be a lot of paper being involved in shipping industry even if they all switch to the blockchain technology. the process is always the same too, the tools are changing and this change which would be usage of blockchain technology can make it so much faster and secure.
although depending on whether it is a distributed ledger or a centralized database it can be a very different approach. I am very interested to see how blockchain technology is going to be implemented by other areas other than currencies.
2066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese "Ebay" Bans listing of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Related Services on: April 17, 2018, 08:46:29 AM
Chinese news is no longer having the same effect as two years ago ever since they closed down their exchanges the first time and it became clear that they were reporting hugely fake volumes every day! and these bans will always continue to happen as long as things such as ICOs exist and they continue scamming people out of their money every day while there is nobody fighting them, not even the community!
this however has nothing to do with them being pro blockchain or bitcoin even.
2067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some good youtube channels for cryptocurrecy knowledge? on: April 17, 2018, 08:30:40 AM
the only decent Youtube channel out there belongs to Andreas Antonopoulos which i believe this is the link to: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJWCJCWOxBYSi5DhCieLOLQ

the rest of them are 90% idiots who are babbling on some nonsense that they don't understand themselves either. in fact the misinformation spread by them is the worst thing! I suggest staying away from them, most of them are trying to pump an altcoin anyways.
2068  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cpu mining and mobile mining bitcoins ? on: April 16, 2018, 02:29:34 PM
it is best no to try to mine anything on your smart phone (mobile). they are not designed to do something like that even though their GPUs may be strong enough to generate minimal hashpower for you to join a mining pool and get some dust out of it. you will also be risking overheating your device and your battery and reduce the life of both of them. the damage and the cost of it is not worth the amount you may or may not earn.
2069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The Market Cap Of Bitcoin Be Overtaken? If So When? And By Who? on: April 16, 2018, 01:57:02 PM
Will The Market Cap Of Bitcoin Be Overtaken?
Probably bitcoin won't be overtaken in terms of marketcap in the next few years, but it is quite possible for altcoins with a lot of supply to overtake bitcoin once majority of the people who are into crypto starts to seriously consider buying up altcoins too.

I believe it was overtaken twice already by some shitcoins that got pumped a lot. and it really doesn't need a lot of people to buy that shitcoin either. there are a lot of them with unbelievably huge supplies. I remember there was one shitcoin on yobit which had a huge pump and it went over bitcoin's market cap for a couple of hours last year and the funny thing was its volume was not even 10BTC! Cheesy
2070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next bull run predictions on: April 16, 2018, 05:43:48 AM
my prediction is that we are going to see a long phase of some sideways and slow but solid rises where price creeps up over a couple of months up to $10k-$15k while building a very solid, very strong buy support. this may even take up to end of the year.
then from there we will see the rallies build up and start rising next year and the ATH will be close to $100k this time within a year and fall will be to possibly $40-$50k.

another prediction would be the start of rally now but I wouldn't expect that ATH to be as big as the first one if it starts soon. it may be $40k-$50k tops then fall from there.
2071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why people think that bitcoin is buble coin ? on: April 16, 2018, 05:31:08 AM
after 10 years has been past of bitcoin but still people think bitcoin is bublecoin , why ?

the first and the most important question that you should ask and try to get to the bottom of it with these people is whether they Truly think bitcoin is in a bubble or are they just talking out of their asses.
if you do, you will be surprised how many of them are talking out of their asses! most of them are parrots repeating some bullshit they once heard somewhere. the others are just spreading FUD in a desperate attempt to see some lower price so that they can buy and make bigger profit or possibly make what they lost because of their idiocy.

otherwise bubbles do happen, bitcoin had at l east 6 major ones in its history, they come and go seamlessly but the drama lingers.
2072  Economy / Speculation / Re: People panics because the price goes down. on: April 16, 2018, 05:18:38 AM
yeah well, these things happen. you can not expect news not to affect people. in any market such as the big markets like gold,... the news always affects the price. a good news helps the rise of it and a bad one leads to a drop. this is not just specific to bitcoin.
the panic sells are also not specific to bitcoin! they do exist in any other market. the difference however is that when you panic sell bitcoin on exchanges the price will go down a lot more than if you panic sell gold because of the small size of bitcoin market.
hopefully as bitcoin adoption increases and the market grows this will be reduced.
2073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Under The Skin on: April 15, 2018, 06:51:01 AM
this is one of those technologies that are mostly interesting instead of being practical. at least not today, this technology is not at a point where it becomes easy to use and becomes popular. you spend a lot of money to do something like that while risking of having an external object inside of your body. and unless you are one of those people (like a businessman) who constantly moves around the world, you don't need such technologies and you don't need to have your bitcoin wallet inside of you at all times.
2074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anticipation from the future ? on: April 15, 2018, 05:46:43 AM
:)Countries are divided into 3 groups: those who ban bitcoin, those who will regulate it strongly and those who will give complete freedom to development. The second and the third groups us well be satisfied with. This majority. It's enough to survive. Therefore, it is not necessary to look for negative outside of us. ; Smiley Smiley

since we are talking about bitcoin (which is a decentralized currency) surviving is not what you think it is! it doesn't need countries to regulate it or not. it will exist and survive even if the whole world bans bitcoin! that is how it is designed to work.
of course the regulations and adoption of it (for example the regulations in Japan) can help the adoption of bitcoin by a lot and help improve the future by a lot but it is just speeding up the process and making it easy.
2075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting Trivia on Bitcoin fork on: April 15, 2018, 05:36:57 AM
Really there are these much bitcoin forks? Why are there forks anyway? Isnt one bitcoin enough?

these are altcoins and altcoins are being created every day.
the reason for it is because it is easy to create one, specially when you are forking an existing cryptocurrency which is practically copy pasting the code (which is open source and free to use) and creating your own coin.
the purpose of them is to make money! most of these have added a premine to their coin which means as soon as the new blocks on that altcoin (the forked coin) started being created the developer got his hands on a large number of his own coin which then he could dump on the market and make a large amount of money out of thin air.
2076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All you need to know about trading bots on: April 14, 2018, 09:45:08 AM
Why use a bot at all?
Maybe you are an inexperienced trader and are looking for a way to get into trading,

this is not a reason to use a bot at all. in fact this is the worst reason that anyone would want to buy and use a bot. it is common knowledge that you first need to learn how to trade on your own, gain that mandatory experience in trading and then to improve your successful outcome which you already have, you use a bot. you see the bot is for the improvement and making things easier, or enhance everything you were already doing not to do what you had no idea about!
2077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 STEPS FOR BEGINNER IN COIN TRADING on: April 14, 2018, 09:34:33 AM
1.Where to buy Bitcoin
There are many Bitcoin Exchange and each has its own pros and cons.  Bitcoin price is also different for each exchange depending on its traders as well as the number of coin their traders holding and want to hold. Therefore, choose the cheapest Bitcoin price to buy.
bitcoin price on different exchanges is pretty much the same at all times, small differences are normal since they are not directly normal. if you found a big difference it means there is something wrong with one or both exchanges!
the thing you need to check is the fees these exchanges charge for fiat deposit and withdrawals and bitcoin withdrawals.

2. Which Coin to buy
Go to coinmarketcap.com - A market capitalization site, and look up for information of the Coin you want to buy, such as  Market Identifier Code, price chart in observation, quantity, transactional volume in 24h or 1 week, ...
There are about 700 Coins to choose. Therefore, think twice before putting your bet in one or else you will lose it all.
there are about 1500 coins listed on coinmarketcap.com!
and it is not a place to go to choose which coin to buy, that doesn't give you any information for that.

3. Which Exchange to trade
One coin can be listed on various Exchange. Priority Exchange that has a high reputation, many strong Coin listed and high trading volume. Also, You can buy from one and sell in another. Here is what I recommend: Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance, Kucoin ...
basically the same as thing as 1. you need to check their fees and trustworthiness. most exchanges like bittrex are scams.

4. Which price to buy at and How many
The art of trading is to buy as lowest as possible. Go for the cheapest and If you can’t, them simply looking for others or trade back to cash.
repetition of 2!

Quote
5.Which price to sell at and How many
Predictions and technical analysis are what you need to know which sell price would bring the most profit.
I'd argue that technical analysis doesn't work at all when it comes to altcoins. what you need to learn is how to spot pumps when you want to trade altcoins.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: April 14, 2018, 09:22:27 AM
the point of playing on an online gambling site and doing it with bitcoin is to escape all the regulations and possible restrictions, taxes, and all the headache of that. so in case some casino decided to become regulated they will just be killing their own business, it would be like shooting yourself in the foot while others are running ahead of you with a big distance between you and them!

not to mention that online gambling is not legal in many jurisdictions!
2079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s Hype Vanishes Just Like That: ‘We’re in the Boring Phase’ on: April 14, 2018, 05:51:22 AM
this article is written for the newbies by a newbie!

only a newbie sees hype and jumps in, head first. and more importantly only a newbie thinks "hype" is gone just because price has been going down. the real hype is only starting with each drop as everyone buys more and more bitcoin to add to their pockets. it is actually a pretty exciting period in bitcoin history that you can see all the big buys from wise investors while a bunch of newbies run around and cry!
2080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be late for the run-up! These things go real fucking fast. $10000 soon. on: April 14, 2018, 05:38:17 AM
what changed about you?
not so long ago you were talking about how bitcoin is going to die soon (the end is near FUD 2 months ago) and now all of a sudden you are making new bullshit topics saying it will go up?
did your shorts fail and you decided to buy bitcoin at a higher price that you sold?
