1741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has now gone 173 days without a new high. on: June 08, 2018, 05:29:35 AM
(always DYOR haha)

doing your own research also needs experience. you need to know what to search and what to look for!

for instance in this case what you should have done was to search about ALL the other times we had a bear market after a huge ATH. and there are at least 5 or 6 other times other than the Mt Gox 2013 ATH. but unfortunately people don't  care about that, they just stick to the last time and analyze everything based on that!
for instance there was much shorter bear markets (2-3 months) in the past.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the crypto-currency market become mature? on: June 08, 2018, 05:15:25 AM
first we need real altcoins that are actual crypto currencies not bullshit copy projects that focus on how they can gain the most amount of hype so that they can use that to pump their useless tokens and earn the most amount of money. we need real open projects that work based on contribution and we need developers that believe in their own project not developers who work for money. in other words if you saw a developer who was asking for money (ICO, premine,...) that means his project is not worth it.

then we need the market to grow a lot bigger than it is right now. but that will happen with time and if the first step is done properly. for example you can see how huge the bitcoin market is compared to altcoins combined. that is because bitcoin has real usages apart from being an investment.
1743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin after rendering services. on: June 08, 2018, 05:07:29 AM
if you want to pay for services in bitcoin then pay more. like paying 10% more with bitcoin (or if it is a large payment then 1%). that should be more than enough incentive for them to encourage then to accept bitcoin payment.

if you are the receiver then give a discount again something like 10% for small payments or 1% for large ones.
1744  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 08, 2018, 05:01:30 AM
I finally reached 0.01BTC profit today after about 6 months of having fluctuating balance there. next goal 0.1BTC.
wow... impressive!
if my math is correct, your average balance ~0.5 BTC Shocked and earn ~5450 satoshi daily
do you claim your free roll? and how do you manage to stay away from multiply btc all this time?

you are correct. as I said my balance goes up and down but I tis about 0.5BTC on average. for example currently it is at 0.8BTC and if my latest deposit confirms I will have about 1.2BTC there. I usually withdraw when I reach the 1+ mark and then start from a lower amount. I usually receive my micro payments there.
I do claim the free coins because it is just one click without needing captcha thanks to my balance.
as for multiplier it is all about discipline and the fact that I have played a lot of dice games in early years and I am kind of fulfilled!

So you are an active gambler, hoe can you manage to keep your winning then? You said you have 0.5 btc balance there and you keep on raising it until 1++ btc right and after that you are going to withdraw it, so means that you keep on gambling it or you just claim it? I know it is impossible to get until that amount just by using your freerolls. And bte congrats on getting 0.01 btc amount from daily investment

I no longer gamble, you can say I have had my share of gambling that I  no longer want to bet anything. nowadays I may make less than 10 tiny bets per 6 months Cheesy

the way I increase my balance is by deposits. it usually is my earnings like if I do some micro job online and get paid a small amount I receive it in my freebitco.in account to save on fees (keep my own wallet free of dust) and also receive profit on it. sometimes I transfer my trading profit there too. and sometimes I just transfer my signature campaign earning there which works as mixing and some sort of cleanup (smaller number of transaction output).

ps. some more stats: free roll earning = 0.0004+ REFERRAL COMMISSIONS: 0.0009+

one of the things I like about this site is the investment part of it, unlike other gambling sites this investment has nothing to do with gambling so it is risk-free, you only have to trust the website with your bitcoin. which is possible since there is a very long history for them.

1747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would BTC shake off an ICO shite implosion? on: June 07, 2018, 11:37:50 AM
Most of the money is extracted through bitcoin, when the time to cash out comes...

I'm not so sure about that these days.

I won't bother running the numbers, but given the multitude of altcoin/BTC markets (and the fact that even alts with significant fiat pairs have liquid BTC pairs too) I'd assume it's true.

I also think BTC is the first flight to safety, but in a long term bear market, those who flocked to it for safety will sell too. That spells downward pressure all around.

I believe he is only talking about ICOs here and as far as they go, there is mainly ICO_token/ETH markets available for majority of them, specially the big crappy ones that distribute a lot of useless tokens among people who participate in their scheme. in which case if they want to dump their coins and get out they have to sell it for ETH and then sell ETH for fiat.
1748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 51% attack is very unlikely on: June 07, 2018, 11:13:50 AM
If it happens, the confidence and price of the coin will collapse. People holding the largest amount will suffer the most. Therefore it wont happen.

with that logic 51% attacks should not have happened in all these small altcoins that experienced multiple attacks throughout the years! but they did. it doesn't matter if someone holds a lot of the coin or if the price collapses or not, 51% attacks are a plausible one when it comes to small altcoins with little hashrate to secure the network.
in the end it will all come down to cost of such attacks. for example it is extremely high for bitcoin which makes it impossible to pull off but it is super easy in altcoins such as BTG and Verge both of which had 51% attacks recently.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accounting Firms celebrating blockchain as if they invented it! on: June 07, 2018, 11:05:17 AM
we all know that the blockchain technology is currently hyped up a lot and all these crappy ICOs that raise millions of dollars out of nowhere without even being legit is a proof of that. so everyone who sees this wants a piece of the hype for themselves including all these firms that get involved with the technology one way or another, not that they are doing any useful but they surely know how to abuse the current ongoing hype and lots of gullible newbies in the market.
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto/blockchain overrated? Are we in echo chamber? on: June 07, 2018, 08:42:57 AM
Crypto is a game changer which is the reason why they hate it. They are used to the age of SJW that they think these crazies will rule this epoch.

it is true about the technology not the ones that are using it.
when bitcoin introduced the blockchain technology and the idea of having a decentralized currency it started a revolution in the world that could never exist before. but unfortunately nowadays the only usage that this technology is getting in name of altcoins or tokens is for pump and dump purposes.
1751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia 2018, another turning-point to the Crypto-community? on: June 07, 2018, 07:59:46 AM
I honestly find it strange that people keep on talking about Russia World Cup and bitcoin since there is absolutely no relationship between the two. Russia is not one of those countries with that much bitcoin adoption, specially not as a currency. bitcoin is legal over there and there are a lot of investors from Russia but that doesn't mean there will be some effects on bitcoin just because World Cup is there. it could have been true only if there were merchants over there accepting bitcoin payment. for example if the hotels, the airlines, the tickets to the games,... were being sold for bitcoin but since that is not the case here then there is no relationship either.
1752  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think there is institutional manipulation of the Bitcoin price? on: June 07, 2018, 07:51:40 AM
I wouldn't be that surprised if I found out that this was all a publicity stunt to calm the public since there has been a lot of talk about manipulation in the cryptocurrency market. I mean there is no way they can detect manipulation unless the exchanges are placing fake orders which is highly unlikely because there are a lot of them around and they are not connected to each other in any ways. and when individual whales manipulate the price by their huge orders (such as planned dumping) then that is not exactly a manipulation that you can put your finger on.
1753  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anybody know's How To Invest in HYIP's And Not Lose Money? on: June 07, 2018, 07:31:10 AM
you are basically asking how you can give your money to a scammer and not have him scam you!!
that doesn't even make any sense. HYIPs are scams whether you believe it or not and when you are "investing" in them in reality you are giving your money away to a clear scam. there is no way of escaping your doom, they will run away with it.
1754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver Apology Video - Give Him Some Credit Please on: June 07, 2018, 07:28:13 AM
Regardless of specific grievances with the Bitcoin devs apparently being 'fees, transaction times and block size' even if things were 100% perfect he'd still be against them at this point. Even now things are pretty great right now and the scaling is going well. But Roger is more interested in his own personal power, ego, and wealth

people like Roger Ver only care about their pockets and how they can fill it with more money. there is no being against or for anything here. he is against everything but his own interest. if bitcoin cash stops giving him profit then he will dump that just as fast and moves on to something that he can milk more and make more money from. even this "apology video" is so fucked up, it is only an apology in title.
1755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Indicators for Cryptotrading on: June 06, 2018, 10:43:27 AM
if you are using these indicators for altcoins then don't waste your time you will never find any relationship and in the end you won't make any profit from it and that is mainly because altcoin market is basically a fake manipulation market with lots of pump and dumps. you need to learn about new indicators: the pump indicators!

in case of bitcoin things are a lot better but not quite there yet. bitcoin market is also small and prone to manipulation but not as serious as altcoins. MACD and RSI should give you a pretty good idea what you are doing.
1756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tired of checking charts on: June 06, 2018, 10:33:54 AM
it is a well known fact that if you feel the need to check the price, look at the charts, look at your orders, look at the news,.... constantly and multiple times a day then it means that you have no idea what you are doing. and also probably you have invested more than you can afford to lose.
this is very common among newcomers who think a couple of trades that made them profit during the pumping season has made them traders. the keep checking the market because they don't have a clear plan and the decisions they make are not based on logic but based on pure luck. in other words you can call this attitude a gamblers habit.
1757  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin down again below $ 10000 on: June 06, 2018, 10:07:54 AM
this topic and this other one here: bitcoin $50K by 2018, $100K by 2019 are equally bullshit and neither of them have any valid arguments for the guess that they are sharing here. but both of them are trying so hard to look legit and pretend their "guess" is a valid one that is going to come to pass.
I am willing to bet that both of them are new to short term trading bitcoin...

I also love how people saw right through OP and the altcoin he is bag holding Cheesy
1758  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the actual reasons that Bitcoin prices may go up or down this year? on: June 06, 2018, 09:39:31 AM
I watch the whales' wallets. Now they are emptying and I can assume that demand for bitcoin this year will increase, which will affect the growth rate of bitcoin.

Whales will have a harder time influencing the CryptoCurrency market every year

there is no such thing as "whale wallet" that you watch or not. there are only addresses on the blockchain and there are transactions between these addresses and unless you are 100% sure that the destination address does not belong to the same person you can not claim that the "wallet" is emptying.
and transactions like that are happening every minute of every day you just happened to catch one of many!
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba's Jack Ma Calls Bitcoin a Bubble (BTC) - Do you care? on: June 06, 2018, 09:32:42 AM
Bubbles are not a bad thing.
When the bubble bursts, the rest is truly useful.
Many economies have really ushered in their golden period after a bubble.

the argument has never been about whether bubbles are good or bad. although your statement is absolutely right. the argument has always been about some idiots who keep on insisting that bitcoin is a bubble no matter what.
for example there has been a lot of chatter about how bitcoin is a bubble when price went to $1000+ in 2017. practically the same people who are calling bitcoin a bubble were calling it a bubble back then too. and even if price fell down to $1 today they would still call it a bubble!
1760  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Rewards From Mining - Still Economically Viable? on: June 06, 2018, 05:40:23 AM
The proof is really in the fact that it is still happening. Mining must still be financially viable or else people would pull the plug because otherwise they are acting irrationally (or derive benefit from continuing the bitcoin fight at their own detriment, but that is hard to quantify). Maybe for small scale home miners you are priced out of the market.

this I agree with. and about small scale home miners I have to say most of them won't go out of the mining market because as a small scale miner you don't have such a high cost and you don't need to cover those costs by selling bitcoin as a result many of them can just mine and hold bitcoin while paying their bills from pocket. something like an investment.

additionally there is always improvement in mining scene. for example Japan is now producing better mining chips which they claim is going to top Bitmain https://bitnewstoday.com/news/technology/gmo-introduces-new-mining-chip-ceo-reportedly-vows/
