Smells like ass.

1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artforz and coblee gpu mining litecoin since the start? on: March 13, 2012, 01:55:25 AM
Not even close,

RealClose.

But my challenge still stands, I will place a 1000 BTC in a mutually acceptable escrow and if I can't get on Skype and prove who I am, the money is yours. Notice I said place in an escrow as in ahead of time.

So to all you "Coinhunters" out there, put up or STFU.

~BCX~

We will place 100000 BTC in a mutually acceptable escrow just as soon as you do and we will prove CoinHunter is only one person. Time to put up or shutup BCX, bitchlemon.

Check out his own admission. He says "we" yet CH is "one" person.

Someone has multiple personality disorder. LOL
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Number of Distinct LTC clients running on: March 13, 2012, 01:16:34 AM
Are there any stats pages out there that show the number of distinct LTC clients that are currently running? Grin
1804  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoinwatch.com is for sale. on: March 13, 2012, 01:05:25 AM
Current best bid is about 1500 BTC.
I find that hard to believe. Why wouldn't that "bidder" just have paid the asking price of $2500?

Perhaps he was asking for bids?

Am I allowed to participate? Grin

LOL why not Wink

He's new to bitcoin (WINK)

How'd that Fedex delivery go down BCX?

In case you don't know, bitcoinexpress is a twice divorced loser named Daniel Maddox that has no money and has some sort of disability that we haven't been able to find out about yet. His ex wife, Lanie Grace, a bride brought from Thailand, dumped him soon after they had a kid together and she got a greencard.

He is broke, he is bitter. He spends his life on the internet playing games, posting/lying on forums and things like this, that's why it's so important to him.

He couldn't afford a US stamp let alone a Fedex.

Not even close,

But if you morons want to pull off looking like one person is posting as Coinhunter I suggest you use the same spellings of my user name and coordinate the grammar, syntax errors and American verses Aussie style of talking. The real CH always uses BCX and the lower case bitcoinexpress is consistent with ViperLemonBitch. Psytard can't communicate in complete sentences so I know it isn't him.

The multiple people posting is obvious.

But my challenge still stands, I will place a 1000 BTC in a mutually acceptable escrow and if I can't get on Skype and prove who I am, the money is yours. Notice I said place in an escrow as in ahead of time.

So to all you "Coinhunters" out there, put up or STFU.

Wait are the speeds being listed as actual speeds of running litecoin and its scrypt algorithm?

If so then the network hashrate should be jumpin sky high right now.

Please clarify...

thanks Grin

The price of LTC is comparable to the price of BTC based on per watt averages.  Mining LTC is slightly more profitable based on the average price of LTC right now, however most people would rather mine BTC as there is much greater liquidity and lower volatility (LTC price has been fluctuating on an order of magnitude for the past few months).

Thanks for the info, but you really didn't answer my question....so ...um no thanks? Huh
1808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should have a humongous party in December to celebrate block #210,000 on: March 13, 2012, 12:40:42 AM
Celebrate a major drop in profits to all the miners, in the same way we celebrate the darkest and dreariest days of the year with Yuletide/Christmas/New Years? Sounds reasonable  Wink

Well now that all depends on if the price of bitcoin is plumetting, staying stable, or skyrocketing huh......future will tell us this while you keep staring in your picture...
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should have a humongous party in December to celebrate block #210,000 on: March 13, 2012, 12:38:33 AM
A once-every-four-years party? That's bigger than new-years! Already people have counters up like at p2pmining.com counting down the days. Imagine the tension that would be in the room as we stare at a counter on the big screen knowing that at any second the block of the next era will be found. I think it would be exciting.

Six or eight blocks prior, two people can be assigned to stare at the counter (or a special program can be written) who yell "Block!" And everyone else yells back, "Hooray!"  Grin

Hopefully it will fall on a weekend. Culturally, if Bitcoin becomes very mainstream, everyone would take a de facto holiday.

Nothing like a halving of block reward to get you to orgasm on the INTERNETS. LOL Grin

1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Letter to a company about Bitcoin on: March 12, 2012, 11:08:43 PM
I haven't sent it yet, please critique. Also feel free to adapt and use.
-------------------------------------------------------

Maybe you're already familiar with Bitcoin, but just in case I want to give you a quick overview. You'll probably find it interesting at least even if you decide not to use it now.

Bitcoin is peer to peer money. No banks are required, any user can send bitcoins directly to another user without permission and without restriction. No one at all has special privilege with regards to Bitcoin or the Bitcoin network. Bitcoin is code that people run on their computers. It is also the name of the network that emerges when those computers are connected.

Bitcoin is a different currency, not another form of dollars like PayPal or Dwolla. It's value is set only by what people are willing to pay for it. Recently it's been fairly stable around $4.90/BTC, but historically it fluctuates a lot.

MtGox.com is the largest exchange, in the last day people traded about $200,000 worth of Bitcoins there.

Bit-Pay.com helps businesses integrate bitcoin and if desired sell them automatically upon receipt to avoid exchange rate risk.

Bitcoin.org is the 'official' site and has links to more information.

I'm not an expert, just an enthusiast but I'm more than happy to help you find answers to any questions you have.

honestly, i think we should refrain from actively PUSHING bitcoin

let them finger it out by themselves, it has more of an effect.

if you happen to be their, and bitcoin happens to pop in your head. then ya feel free to share. but go spamming bitcoin

Fixed for you!

Now you ruined it! I saw that, but opt to not fix it, thus creating a little titillation to hopefully spark their interest. Now, upon seeing the word 'figure', they'll correctly surmise that Bitcoin is some type of geek money, whereas the word 'finger' would get them excited.

Why don't you go and help Gavin fix some code or something, and leave well enough alone?  Grin

~Bruno~

EIDT: Oops! I was in reference to the second draft. Nevermind! Carry on.

Hahaha nice response! LOOOOOOL

Since when does anyone start a "letter" out with "Maybe you're already familiar with..."?

How about starting it with "Hey Suckah!"? At least then they know what your intentions are.  Grin

1814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: March 12, 2012, 10:22:10 PM
We will know who Satoshi Nakamoto is the day he chooses to reveal himself (for example, by revealing the private key that can redeem the generation transaction from the genesis block). Until that happens, all we can do is guess - and we won't know if we are right.

somehow i think the percieved value of those first 50 bitcoins is much higher than $5 per btc.

Just a thought. Grin

Wow....now let's get some bums to advertise bitcoin! lol

Duh! Sure as hell wasn't twunkin' 'bout "coinvertising" (thought you'll like) them delicious Girl Scouts cookies (price increased to $.20 USD per cookie this year).

To make it truly more profitable for these less fortunate souls, they can put their FirstBit addresses on their signs, thereby allowing them to amass a nest egg for their retirement.

They can go from this:

To this:

In the matter of a couple short years, all thanks to Bitcoin.

1816  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Any sites accept BitCoins for bullion GOLD/SILVER coins? on: March 12, 2012, 10:00:21 PM

You still short, Oldminer? Smiley

Just ask Oldminer how well his ixcoin investment is doing. =)

1818  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we're in a bull trap after all on: March 12, 2012, 09:55:28 PM
The shorts below 5 $ are a great bait for bulls, if they decide to take it...

Perhaps you are right but then...let's wait and see.... Roll Eyes
1819  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we're in a bull trap after all on: March 12, 2012, 09:54:36 PM
Your analysis is based on four previous bull runs up. That is hardly a "standard" to be using as a measuring stick of what should happen with the price. Remember that when those to previous moves happened the bitcoin community was about 1/5 of what it is now.

Fair enough, why is it flat then?

Same reason it was relatively flat on first blue up arrow a first?

Just be patient bro.
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC GPU Miner Source Code Reward Thread on: March 12, 2012, 09:45:03 PM
The hashrate is pretty decent on my 6870, I get 320Mh/s with agression on 14 but for my computer to be usable I need to go to  130Mh/s. I guess with a rig dedicated to mining it could be profitable but not if you want to use your computer also.

MH/s? I think you mean KH/s.
