To The Namecoin Community,

I have accomplished what I needed to do and attacking Namecoin at this point would only be for the malicious destruction of a viable alt-currency. Destruction is not what I was after. Namecoin's leadership was the real target here, not the miners, not the exchanges or the many registered domains.

The leadership of Namecoin has allowed it to stagnate into the weak state it was in. They own this and should take responsibility.

In the past 72 hours I have seen a coming together of people that produced more in this time than in the past four months combined. There has been a bigger collaboration between Bitcoin and Namecoin than anytime in recent memory. The chain is more secure now, with a better future than it was before this started.

I am sorry it took these drastic measures to get people's attention, but it wasn't until I had demonstrated lethality did anyone take me serious, again, The Namecoin Attack starting on block 19101 has been called off.

Namecoin should make Davinci an Honorary Ambassador and spokesman. My decision to withdraw is due in no small part to Davinci.

Peace
BCX

So this was for all of namecoin supporters' benefit?

Great...

Cast your votes.

Fixed the typos in your question perhaps an edit is called for.

Do you want BCX to destroy CH's Solidcoin 2.0?

I left the "if" in because I wanted to see the outcome before making a judgment.

So the SolidCoin network is going down because the person who started it up says so.

HAHAHAHAHHA

Geez people must be fools - why not just ignore him and keep running your current network?

I agree. Why stop just because one person says so. Sounds like centralization as opposed to decentralization.
1965  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 15, 2011, 06:30:10 AM
Where's CH?  Wasn't he just talkin smack?

Oh I think I see him

I wouldn't be surprised if he releases SC 2.0 in like a year after BCX forgets about all of this.
1966  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 15, 2011, 06:17:08 AM
I will vouch for his firepower. I watched him take down the GG network and throw blocks around like it was popcorn. Made difficulty go down to 0.06 for over an hour...he is serious.

Even if he has a lot of mining power (Unlikely as it is) it's irrelevant to new SC. He cannot do anything, wouldn't matter if he had 99% of mining power.

Believe the known liar as much as you want, he's clueless.

Well then for the third time, prove me a liar.

Setup a testnet, let's invite everyone and see who gets totally punk'd.

Then if what you say is true it wont matter if the community knows the solution you've found because you will be able to use it to ward off BCX.

What is your solution? Let's hear it!
1968  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 15, 2011, 06:11:41 AM
Setup your Testnet, let's invite the forum and see who is talking shit?

Setup the testnet of code you have no idea about and what are you going to do ? Use some Geforce2MX bitcoin attacks on it? Haha. Try to attack it when it's released script kiddy, I know it's secure and am not afraid of what you think you can do. The old network wasn't secure from mining attacks which is why I pulled it down to protect everyones investments, the new one is or it wouldn't be coming back. If I had no clue what I was doing the same thing that happened to I0/IX/NMC would have happened to SC.

So make sure you're watercooling those badboy nvidia chips for when it's released, I want to feel your full powah!

Read: I'm chicken.
1969  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 15, 2011, 06:10:16 AM
The fact you talked shit, got your ass kicked and ran like a scalded dog was public proof enough. Once again I don't have to have 51% to bring SC to a grinding halt. Setup another testnet, let's put on demonstration for the world.

Put up or shut the fuck up. I don't think it gets much more point blank than that.

Haha, seriously, anyone who believes this kid has more than 300MH is deluded. He is creating lies all over the place, and anyone who knows how can go check SC block history to see proof of his lies. You make artforz look like a trained professional. Everyone be afraid of bitcoinexpress and his Geforce2 MX mining rigs.

Thanks for advertising SC again, should have you on the CPF eh?

BTW it's not one million BLOCKS, it's one million coins will be generated in the genesis block. So you may want to get your handlers to proof read your statements before you release them. Smiley Also we aren't sure of the redistribution method yet, it may be that all addresses with a positive balance get sent their balance, hence all funds from the genesis block would be exhausted quickly.

Restarting with a new genesis block cleans the chain of the mess created by hackers and spammers and also allows the client to be easier to maintain due to not needing to support the old hackable protocol.

And when the SC network restarts it won't be vulnerable to 51% exploits and you'll be unable to do anything..... Probably has to hurt your ego that SC will be the only viable chain soon.... Smiley Keep up with the attacks, you're doing a good job destroying bitcoin.

Newsflash for you Coinhunter, 51% isn't necessary. I have a feeling you'll be hitting the "Kill Switch" on SC 2.0 a lot sooner than you did SC 1.10 LOL...

Just waiting for you to launch.

~BCX~

Did you actually attack SC 1.10?

I like how Realsolid keeps not discussing his solution to the 51% problem.

And is the relaunch 2 weeks out? Seems like with your coding skills this should take no more than 3 days tops.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New alternate cryptocurrency - Geist Geld on: September 15, 2011, 05:51:57 AM
Am I doing this right?  I copied the bitcoin.conf to \appdata\roaming\geistgeld\ and \appdata\roaming\ (wasn't sure where to copy it so I just put a copy in both directories), ran geistd.exe and then started Phoenix like this:

phoenix.exe -u http://username:password@localhost:8777

But it never connects.  Am I using the wrong port?  I put portsend=7769 into the .conf file too.

I put the conf file into my bitcoin folder in roaming and it worked just fine.

Wait a year.

Why not a decade?

Why not call it the Apple attack?

"Rotten Apple Attack"
1976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is more arrogant? BitcoinEXpress or CoinHunter? on: September 15, 2011, 02:59:58 AM
BEX is by far the bigger c**t but he's got way more style than CH...

What style is that?
1977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New alternate cryptocurrency - Geist Geld on: September 15, 2011, 02:59:21 AM
This alt didn't even change the name of anything from bitcoin? Even the addresses are still bitcoin addresses? Redo!

That can be done in a future update release. The exploits are the important learning curves we are getting from this.
1978  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What would it take to make a 51% attack on the whole bitcoin network? on: September 15, 2011, 12:54:35 AM
Not sure if someone could get their hands on that many gpus.
1979  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 15, 2011, 12:51:26 AM
I should have linked at least one comment that really highlights his bipolar attitude.

from here

Quote
1) What effect would this have on exchanges especially Bitparking, DoubleC has been really cool and don't want to cause undue trouble for him.

except forcing him to close his exchanges down and have to deal with emails of angry people wanting their coins back.

then here

Quote
I'm not looking to do damage, just test.

Double spend to the wallets would be cool. I also guess you could double spend at the exchanges too, not so cool.

trust me I wont do anything malicious, even though I could have used the testnet.. You could get a raging clue from the name.. TESTNET.

and then this one.. bolding mine

Quote
Goals
1) Developing protection for Bitcoin against exploits
2) Developing a lethal alt chain killer.
3) Making developers aware that when the "bad guys" make you aware of an exploit, FIX IT!

but really he's not trying to make anyone lose money.. just if you got coins trade them now

Quote
You have until block 19100 to withdraw, trade or do whatever you like. We will not launch until then.

of course if you are someone not following the forums currently, thinking your from jerks testing theories on the live chain rather than the testnet, perhaps you wont get this message.. BUT DONT WORRY HE ISNT TRYING TO GET ANYONE TO LOSE MONEY, EXCEPT HE IS GOING TO MAKE A LOT OF PEOPLE LOSE MONEY.

who do we believe? the slightly less douchey bitcoinexpress, or the megadouche douchebagexpress? they seem to be totally different people.

1980  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 15, 2011, 12:40:43 AM
I love how you try to step back from your douchedum. Getting a little blowback? are we doucheexpress?
You get all the exchanges closed down and want people to take your word for it you wont use this power to steal.
"hey I'm going to break into your home when you are out but dont worry I just want to show you your locks are shit, I wont take nothing, trust me I am a douche"

claims he wants to do no harm, only testing but refuses to use the testnets set up for that.

Claims he isnt being malacious but then later claims he is developing an alt chain killer.

Nice try at dedouching yourself, but you are still a douche.

JB has a point BCX. You need to consider that what comments you've made these past few days has been taken very seriously. Given the extreme circumstances of these alt chains being completely obliterated is cause enough for people to have their doubts.

I'm still stunned you are going to still move forward on attacking the namecoin network given all that has unfolded.
