I predict Weili wins strongly. I suspect undetectable Chinese steroids hehehehe.

This might sound rude, but according to current situation in Chinese, there are no steroids left there Roll Eyes
Everything is used to find a cure against coronavirus. But she will win anyway.

Question to all - how do you feel about women participate in UFC? Personally, I prefer to switch to other channel or do not pay much attention to such fight. I must confess, that I haven't seen at least 1 full women mma fight. I count it like something "wrong".

I like women in MMA. Who would not want to watch Claudia Gadhela, Alexa Grasso, Angela Lee, Megan Anderson, Paige Van Zant in the octagon hehehe?

Watch Weili versus Joanna. It might be more exciting than the main event, I reckon.

@Saint-loup. Yes they are making Khabib angry again hehehehe.
5542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: March 07, 2020, 02:51:17 AM
@Synaesthesia. I predict many Ethereum 2.0 dead skeleton from waiting memes to appear on 2021 after many delays of its release by Ethereum's development team hehehe.

5543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Did Binance just help Justin Sun take over the Steem network? on: March 07, 2020, 02:16:25 AM
It appears the real scammer on this issue is really Ned Scott, the former ceo of the Steemit foundation. He sold all the premined steemcoins to Justin without telling him the history and the verbal agreement of those coins have on the community. Those coins were never for the intention of voting. They are for marketing and development.

Also, the votes to freeze Justin's coins were only to freeze it only from voting. There were not stolen or locked.
5544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus & quarantine & effect on BTC Difficulty. How Bad/Likely? Poll! on: March 07, 2020, 01:25:06 AM
I reckon they should use bitcoin to fix this hehehe. They will hit 2 birds with 1 stone. They can report more than healthy electricity consumption and activity, however, they can also produce bitcoins as grounds for the fraudulent behavior hehehehe.

Local companies and officials are fraudulently boosting electricity consumption and other metrics in order to meet tough new back-to-work targets as the spread of the new coronavirus in China wanes, a Caixin investigation has found.

Leaving lights and air conditioners on all day in empty offices, turning on equipment, faking staff rosters and even coaching factory workers to deceive inspectors are just some of the ways companies fabricate rosy statistics for local governments to report up the chain.

5545  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-03] Bitcoin Too Young to Be Predictable But it Has a Major Advantage on: March 07, 2020, 01:02:44 AM
@Kemarit. Agreed. However, everything you said is speculative based on maybe and what might occur or not. A safe haven should be stable and most certain to be safe on the future.

I can tell you that a safe haven for the cryptospace bear market is fiat hehehe.
5546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 06, 2020, 01:00:15 AM
How are the Clippers on the road presently? It appears their game versus the Rockets is good to bet against them hehehe. The Rockets beat the Celtics in both their home stadium and away in 1 month.
5547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 06, 2020, 12:45:23 AM
We might be neglecting that Weili Zhang versus Joanna will be a good fight also, I reckon. The China girl appears to be strong in striking. It did not show in her fight versus Tecia Torres, however, she knocked out Jessica Andrade to win the championship.

I predict Weili wins strongly. I suspect undetectable Chinese steroids hehehehe.
5548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Did Binance just help Justin Sun take over the Steem network? on: March 06, 2020, 12:02:27 AM
the nerve that they used their customers coins in the first place... i wonder what they were thinking?  Huh
sure they can pull a "sorry, changed my mind" like politicians when they get caught with something naughty.
and taking over a whole community looks like politics to me...

Agreed! However, the Steem witnesses made the first attack by voting on a softfork that would freeze the coins in the wallets owned by Justin Sun. Justin responded by asking his friends on the exchanges to use the coins under their control to vote against the witnesses' softfork.

Is that right? Why would the witnesses vote to freeze someone's coins?

In any case, this makes it appear that proof of stake cryptocoins should be avoided.a
5549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: March 05, 2020, 04:12:53 AM
Soon ETH will have 2 important changes, which will change ETH very much. 1) ETH will be updated to ETH 2.0. 2) ETH will switch to PoS mining.

Will no.2 be a change for the better? Before your answer, I reckon that you should read about the situation that occured between Tron founder Justin Sun and his power friends the exchange owners versus the Steemit community hehehe.
5550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Did Binance just help Justin Sun take over the Steem network? on: March 05, 2020, 03:20:54 AM
CZ said on twitter they will most "likely" remove the vote after receiving a lot of negative feedback:
Quote
Re: Steem, read my “tweets and comments” about our position and thoughts on the issue. We will likely remove the vote, based on your feedback. The op requires people in several different geographic locations to coordinate, may take a little time.

hopefully huobi and poloniex will follow the same example. reading the comments on twitter give you a bit more of a perspective of how long this should take to undo...

Huobi and Binance have removed their votes after some pressure from Steemit's community hehehe. However, the occurrence made it appear how weak a proof of stake system is versus the exchanges that do not hold a stake of the coin themselves.
5551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency intelligence program targetting P2P, darknet marketd and forums on: March 05, 2020, 02:24:10 AM
Since when does ICE have any jurisdiction over MSBs? This is simply bureaucratic empire building.

this was news to me: the ICE enforces narcotics trafficking/distribution laws and even leads inter-agency money laundering investigations.
https://www.ice.gov/narcotics
https://www.ice.gov/money-laundering

the mention of "online forums" is odd but this may be getting blown out of proportion. the entire budget proposal mentions "cryptocurrency" twice, both in that one paragraph. the emphasis seems to be on narcotics-related money laundering associated with darknet marketplaces.

It might be, however, your friendly old neighborhood forum money transmitter might have its own uses for our tormentors for intelligence gathering and double crossing hehehehe.

I reckon their supreme court knew the laws that the Indian central bank wanted the ban to be founded on might begin a terrible precedent on other networks for internet communication and message passing.

@LeGaulois. It is not assured as a safe haven. I speculate that in an event similar to the great depression, bitcoin would also dump together with stocks because more people use bitcoin like stocks. As a speculative investment.

In a world war 3 event, it is also hard for bitcoin to be a safe haven because hashrate security might always be threatened.

In a corona virus zombie apocalypse event, it might be similar. I reckon food, medical supplies, guns would be valued and bartered. Currencies might not hold value.

@smooth. Are you maintaining your status as a Steemit witness up to now? I heard there was a takeover of the project by Justin Sun and his friends the exchanges hehehe. I want to know what are your opinions on the issue.

I reckon this shows that the exchanges might the real powers behind the cryptospace.
5555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 04, 2020, 01:12:12 AM
Yes he denies that he has staph infection, however, what is that hole on his arm? That is not a scrape. It appears infected and this might require antibiotics to cure.

Fight fans grew nervous when watching an interview Combat TV did with Adesanya just ahead of UFC 248. Speculation ran rampant of Adesanya possibly having a staph infection.

Speaking to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, Adesanya shut down those rumors (h/t BJPenn.com).

“It’s just a little something, a little scrape of myself,” Israel Adesanya said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “That s**t happens, but whatever. A little something. I’ve never had staph. I never will,” he said.

5556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: March 04, 2020, 12:39:01 AM
It would be a big upset if Kubrat Pulev would win this fight.

per one of the sportsbook betting odds, Joshua is clearly the heavy favorites here with .

Give Anthony Joshua the most upset boxer of 2019 - 2020 award if he loses hehehe. However, I reckon that he has certainly learned a good lesson versus Andy Ruiz 1.
5557  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-02] Mike Novogratz Explains Why Bitcoin (BTC) Is Failing as Safe Haven on: March 04, 2020, 12:00:58 AM
Bitcoin is falling as safe haven at the moment because it is still quite complicated and extremely volatile asset. When I say too complicated, I mean on the average person who knows some basics on a computer and uses ATM cards, but nothing more that. On the other hand, big players also have problems how to quickly and efficiently transfer value from, say, stocks/gold to Bitcoin.

If such a crisis wiped out literally over $5 trillion from the stock market overnight, and even affect gold why does anyone think that Bitcoin can be immune to such a disorder? Especially when we consider the total market value of Bitcoin and very likely less than 1% of the world population that is somehow involved with the crypto market.

Although many may think that the price of BTC has fallen solely because of the crisis with COVID-19, I think it had only a small share, and that a fairly normal correction followed after the price reached $10 500.

It was never the safe haven in the way the bitcoin maximalists are hyping it. It might never be if it is forever pegged to the supreme military backed American dollar hehehe.

@hatshepsut93. Down versus what? The versus what might be the safe heaven hehehe.
5558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: March 03, 2020, 03:37:44 AM
@sniveling. It might take more than 2 years, I reckon. I predict delays and more delays added on more delays. Also, Ethereum 2.0 has been invented already. There are multiple forms of it. EOS, Tezos, Chainlink, Cardano, Tron, Neo, Cosmos hehehe.

EOS is ETH 2.0? Tezos? I'm no ETH fanboy no matter what but you seriously can't say that EOS or Tezos have been through a shred of what ETH has in terms of complex testing, development and even real case use. Maturity can't be bought or created, it has to go through huge amount of testing and trials. EOS wow. Some people really love their magiccoins.

Complex testing and real use case? What complex testing? Did they do compex testing when Parity locked its own coins? Also, what real use case is there? Ethereum cannot scale. All the projects made in there are projects like in a science fair hehehe.

Maturity? Is that why they are rebooting their project into Ethereum 2.0?
5559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III on: March 03, 2020, 02:57:01 AM
I like to share some prediction on the odds of the Fury vs Wilder 3, from https://www.oddsshark.com/boxing/fury-wilder-3-odds-and-prediction

That would be :

Quote
Deontay Wilder Vs Tyson Fury Betting Odds
Boxer   Odds
Deontay Wilder   +185
Tyson Fury   -215

Therefore for Wilder Fans, you got a good betting odds here, in case Wilder would bounce back with a win.

I don't think those Wilder odds are good at all.

He probably got concussed in the first fight and we heard stories that he broke his hand before the second Luis Ortiz fight. With all the injuries Wilder is racking up I really don't think he has much of a chance of winning either.

He's too stupid to realize that a 40lb suit might tire him out before the fight, then fires the trainer who saved him from a devastating knockout, I doubt he's smart enough to adapt to Fury in the third fight.

I think Fury will smother him once again in the third, and win even more convincingly, this time by a full-fledged KO.

Deontay's Wilder's odds on Nitrogensports is 3.143 or +214 in American odds. It might be a good bet. Teddy Atlas calls his right hand the eraser because it erases past mistakes hehehhe.

Also, Wilder's excuses about injuries or the heavy suit are not real. He is only giving us something to doubt to make it easier for him and his team to sell the next fight.

5560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [NEWS] Did Binance just help Justin Sun take over the Steem network? on: March 03, 2020, 02:33:41 AM
If your cryptocoin is a proof of stake or delegated proof of stake coin, I reckon that you should withdraw them from the exchanges immediately. You do not want your favorite exchange to become your own tormentor hehe.

Also, the Steemit community's softfork to protect itself was acted hastily and got another softfork act that was also hastily given by the threat hehehehehe.

Have centralized exchanges used customer funds to help Tron CEO Justin Sun regain control over the Steem blockchain network?

That appears to be the case, according to crypto industry observers, Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, and the CEO of one of biggest exchanges on the planet, Binance—who confirmed his exchange’s involvement in a tweet.

Sun recently bought Steemit.com, essentially a decentralized Reddit that runs on the Steem blockchain. With the purchase, he also got access to a large amount of pre-mined Steem. But eight days ago, the community voted in favor of a soft-fork that would prevent Sun from accessing these tokens until he provided more detail about his plans for Steemit.

“So Justin reacts by getting more Steem from his friends to regain control over the platform he just purchased,” a developer who’s worked on apps on Steemit, Jason Stallings of BlockArcade, told Decrypt. “We're at the start of the Steem/Tron war of 2020,” he said.

“They tried to wrestle control from Justin and he outplayed them by utilizing his influence just the same as he will for the platform going forward,” Alexander Klein, a blockchain developer and Steemit contributor, told Decrypt.
