My miners are hashing good (1 TH each) but when I view the stats page they are only doing 800 GH/sec. And the speed rejected is like %2 to %4. When I've tried other pools I was always at at least 980-1TH/sec. Any idea what that could be? I'm just trying out this pool for the first time today.
Which miners are you using? A couple posts above I indicated I was using Antminer C1's. They are all hashing at 1005TH/sec locally, and I'm trying real hard to see if I can upgrade the cgminer to a more recent version. The version on there is 4.6.1, which doesn't support that #xnsub feature.

I'm looking to upgrade my cgminer version on my multiple C1's that I have. I saw the directions for the S3, but that was a patched/compiled file that you just needed to copy over, which I tried anyway and it didn't work on the C1. Is there a way to update or at least temporarily update the cgminer on the Antminer C1 or is this all through Bitmain? I don't think a new firmware is coming, and I like to keep the mining SW up to date. I'd even be willing to "donate" a little bit for a working pre-compiled/patched cgminer file if that can be done? Of course I know everytime I power off the unit I will need to copy the file back onto the system, but it is dooable.
Thanks

MFW BTCGuild has a higher hash rate than GHash.io, presently.
Any other pools out there that allow percentage distributions to various accounts ?
EDIT: Remember a time when there was so much concern about GHash.io 51%'ing the network ? Oh how the mighty have fallen...
That's all it was ever, just a bunch of talk and worried people. Hell, the paranoid talked constantly about a "takeover" for months and nothing ever happened. Once the paranoia sets in and you have that mindset you just can't relax.

Also, does the mining default to PPLNS? And I put D=1024 in the password, but it still cranks it up to 4096 by itself.
I'm strictly mining BTC, nothing special. The title of this thread says "higher profits than difect mining BTC", where are those higher profits coming from and how long after you start mining there you will see that?
I'm pretty familiar with settings up my pools, but this one seems a little confusing. I'm just a little more concerned with why the difficulty is jumping way up to 4096 when I set it at 1024 in the password field to 1024 using "D=1024" from help from a previous post.
Also why my hashing speeds on my miners here at home are going full blast but when I check the westhash site I have high speed rejected stats. Unless I'm just not understanding this pool and it's setup.
Thanks.

Such a strange incident. I switched over my coolant to Feser One, blue color which has been just fine. But on one miner the blue color started to go away and turn clear. My other miner still has the dark blue color. I'm wondering where the heck the color went?
Also, will there be a new firmware upgrade on these to support the new features in cgminer? The latest firmware is using 4.6.1 and I think cgminer is like at 4.8 or something.

Does this pool work with Antminer C1's? Unfortunately the latest firmware only has cgminer 4.6.1. What would be an example to setup a worker? I've actually connected to see what speeds I'm getting, but I can only find my miners by entering in my BTC address, but can't figure a way to add the worker name.
These are my current settings for the pool: URL: stratum.westhash.com:3334 Worker: my bitcoin address password: anything
Where would I add my worker in there? Unless the pool isn't really good with C1's or that version of cgminer.

So.. I've tried to search this, but I haven't seen anything on it. I have a new S5. It seems to run fine. Every once in awhile, though, maybe every day or two, I will see that it is running at half efficiency.. in the 500-600 GH/s rate. I go into to miner configuration and hit save and apply without changing the settings.. and it goes back to 1150-1200 GH/s. Sometimes it stays for a day or so.. sometimes it stays for an hour. Is this a faulty power supply or a firmware glitch..? Anyone else seeing this happen?
I'm seeing the same thing on my 1 S5. Frustrating. Sometimes a save and apply click in the configuration page works for a full day or two. Sometimes only a half hour.
Hoping there's a firmware fix coming to fix this. In the mean time is there any provision for a periodic reboot built in?
Yes, its a known issue and will get fixed soon TM. Current solutions are timers on the PSU to hard reboot [harsh], or software monitor's like M's to issue soft reboots on hashrate drop. Soft reboots won't always fix it depending on which exact issue you get though. Has this been fixed?

They should just pull the plug = shut down the pool completely, I have to go out to my remote location (which doesn't have external IP, and I couldn't be bothered to setup VPN since the computer there is a windows box) and CEX will be gone, forever. I'd rather have 24 hour blocks on slush than this crap.
Every pool at some point gets attacked. Every pool I have ever used has had an attack happen. It is how the pool responds to the attack. It is 4pm right now in China, and 8am in the UK. If they are UK based, hence the slow response. They are just waking up, maybe a little lazy. Not sure where their admins are.

And you process all payouts manually one by one?

I'm unable to connect for some reason. I signed up with my username opentoe. This is what is in my pool information:
stratum.kano.is:3333 -u opentoe worker: opentoe_kitchen password: x
My rig never connects. I know it's gotta be something stupid, right?
Yup, stupid mistake.

I heard these models were loud. Is there a way to make them quiet without compromising heat? Changing fans? Etc? Also, what are the watts at the wall?

Does the payout go right into the user's bitcoin address? Is it automatic? Does it accumulate where you can then make a manual payout?

This issue exactly started when I first posted it. 4:36PM EST. We are going on 8 hours. Someone really must hate Ghash to keep it up this long.

Thanks. I just downloaded the new "testing" version since I'm getting tired of rebuilding the DB all the time.

From their homepage: Dear users, some of you may experience connectivity issues at the moments. Unfortunately we are under a DDoS attack. Our tech team is on the issue and is reconfiguring our equipment at the moment. Full website productivity will be restored ASAP. We thank you for your patience i... That's kind of weird: Does the DDoS affect the pool or the website? I'd say that the pool is affected, not the website. So what exactly is going on? An attack can affect the pool significantly. If there are latency gaps between the pool and your miner that will either cause the miner to hash much lower or drop down to the secondary pool. DDoS attacks just suck all around. I'll wait for a little bit until I start switching all my gear to another pool.

At least? What other URL's do they have? Damn, that's a big drop. I noticed it right away soon as my rigs started beeping at me. Looks like the pool is having a hard time now....most likely all those that dropped off are not trying to connect again.
