1.  Previous orders were profitable by a large margin.

2.  A KNC miner is worth more after you get it, and can be sold for a profit.

3.  Mining is quickly becoming a commercial/professional affair.

4. It's time to stop whining and get serious... or shut up & forget about mining, because there is no better offers in the world than what KNC has right here.

-my 2 cents.  Wink

And that's where all the good times and fun get ripped right out of this "hobby" is when is becomes commercial/professional. And once BTC becomes profitable for the lazy politician they'll start slapping on the regulations, laws and policies like crazy and there won't be a damn thing we can do about it. You are either PRO commercialization or not. I guess you are. There are still people out here that hate big brother and how they slam down the control on everything once they start getting a piece of the pie. Right now there is probably a company building a small data center to hosting an entire pool by themselves. Our little 3Th/s rigs will be little plastic Hess trucks compared to the big ones in the real world. If you ordered a Neptune, you may as well sit back and relax and just watch things as they unfold and hope things go into your favor...and sabotage as many other companies as you can, cause that may be the only thing that could save your 10k.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 28, 2013, 07:56:33 AM
BTC10.71 spent on my Neptune order

ROI or no ROI - THAT is the question...

 Smiley

Here we go again!!!!

The issue I see here is KNC is kind of taking advantage of their little success from their Jupiter release (which to this day many people still have DIE issues and can't perform above 500Gh/s) and on the heels of that are presenting new hardware that's so far away the earth may not be here when the time comes for delivery. When I ordered my Saturn, I didn't have to wait long at all...and I wouldn't have ordered it if I had to wait long. Now if you want something you need to sell your kids college fund and iphone and then wait 6 months for miner that may or may not return what you paid already. I'm not a big risk taker, so this was an easy choice for me and the cost alone at $10k + shipping is straw on the camels back. Your talking small car prices here now....not miner prices. I can only guess the mass of people that are dumping out 10k so quickly just have the money from a great paying job, have no family and buy everything for themselves, or still live at home and let mommy and daddy pay all the bills. I wish everything the best of luck, but if you're making your mother wash your underwear and you are 40 years old, SHAME ON YOU! Get your ass out of the house you greedy bastard.

Anyone selling  a full functioning Jupiter please let me know. I don't want die 0 issues or anything like that. Have BTC immediate for payment. Please message me. Thanks.

Can you pay in cash

Yea, I can pay in cash.
Cash is tempting....but it would be alot.....

Cash/bitcoin/gold/women it's all the same, right? I'm just looking to see if someone wants to offload their Jupiter now while they still can....in a couple months they may be very hard to sell. Or I wouldn't be interested in that time. See ya at work!

how many coins do you guys think it will generate overall for 1 Neptune and how long will it take to break even when it delivers
Dude you are talking about like half a year away. Anything can happen and I can guarantee you there will be many delays. On the record!
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 27, 2013, 06:42:22 AM
I agree, 3Th for 10k in bitcoin is a joke. No idea when they will deliver those, Q1/Q2 can mean anything right now. could mean June for all i know, why would I throw so much money into that if the comeptition can deliver faster and cheaper?
Two batches, plus upgrade boards, before the competition has a chance to get a single machine out the door, Underpromise, Overdeliver.....and a PROVEN TRACK RECORD. You know of a safer/better deal?......No way!

Yea right now it's all bubble gum and candy but in 5/6 months there will be other manufacturers out there along side knc. The only reason knc released this news so early is because right at this moment there is no competition. In reality this news letter from knc should have come out in January 2014 not late this year. Knc is just trying to take advantage of the scenario and it is a tactical decision I think.

Did they inflate the price, hoping that the recent run-up would make people spend frivolously?  I was expecting about $6K, maybe $7K.

It's called greed my friend and knc is taking advantage of all who have the bitcoin "bug" right now raking in mega dollars. In the bitcoin world Q1/Q2 really means late late June even into July when summer starts to hit. There are just too many things that can happen in 6-7 months in this industry to lay down 10$k for a rig that is basically just an idea in someone's head right now. Kudos for those of you that have the money to burn, all knc is doing is using the "high" people have today because everyone is doing well that ordered a knc. I just can't loan some company in Sweden 10k and then wait half a year. Trust me, if anything is constant in this industry it is deadlines are never met and things take forever.

So if anyone wants to buy my knc account or buy your Neptune for you, for a small fee, let me know. KNC's greed is rubbing off on me.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 26, 2013, 03:46:22 AM
day 1/2 customers should have no advantage over the rest of October customers, in my opinion. Day 1/2 customers were compensated enough by receiving their miners early and mining more bitcoin.

We weren't compensated...that's just when the delivery dates were announced.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 26, 2013, 03:45:04 AM
The order book will likely open either tomorrow, or in the coming days.

Not sure what you mean by what kind of refusal? In any case wait and see at the point of announcement.

Dare say it will be first come first served to previous customers for a designated period of time. I have no idea of there is a limit, or whether there's a reseller program. Though of there is please use the reseller link in my sig. Ta v.much Wink

Order book for what? We have zero tech specs on the devices, how many there will be and other companies are coming quicker and quicker to release all their hardware. One another competitor throw out his 1TG rig for $5k, KNC will have to tqake ALOT of money off their asking price of $7,000 or even higher. Once greed sets it it's almost impossible to control.

Eligius us having problems I think. That round shares number that very quickly increases is moving at a snails pace. And my hash rate averages aren't moving at all. Ongoing issue?

Can the operator then help a brother out? I only have 25 NMC set my NMC address and set the auto payout to be .1. I've waited several hours and those aren't moving. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Not big on patience are you?

I know, right?  the fucker sleeps like 2 hours at a time, take a chill pill he'll be in shortly

Why everybody got to be dick? I'm asking questions and I'm not up the operators ass knowing his sleeping habits. Jesus man. If you panties get so bunched up from people asking questions then just use the ignore feature will ya?

Thank you eleuthria.

Pools yesterday 21. of nov. 2013

GHASH.io = 21 Blocks with avg. 1.250 Th/s
Eligius = 17 Blocks with avg. 600 Th/s
Bitminter = 7 Blocks with avg. 300 Th/s
BTCGulde = 38 Blocks with avg. 1.350 Th/s

Fee or not to fee, this is the question? Or not?! I say i will pay an fee but i can earn
some more with 38 found blocks as with 17 found blocks. I´m on btcguilde since yesterday evening 09:30 pm.

I will post my stats (1 x Jupiter) this night.

I have an other question, what is better:

a) delivering shares with an diff of 1024 (on my Jupiter) or shares with an lower diff (on eligius my shares mixed 128 / 256 / 512 but no 1024)
    Will the shares with higher diff paid better?

Everyone tells me to pool at Eligius because I'll make more return but I feel more comfortable at BTC Guild, even with the higher fees compared to the others.

Small automatic payouts (payouts under 0.10 get processed in a separate batch) got stuck a little earlier today.  A few runs of the automatic payout script were run to clear up any backlog that was caused by the delay.  Larger auto payouts and manual payouts were unaffected.

I have over 25 NMC, so it wasn't a small payout. It is still not paying out and I don't have a manual payout button for NMC.

RED HERRING TIME  Embarrassed

Found that the ping time to my wireless access point that serviced it was also slow. I disabled some of the fancier features (WMM and short GI) and the ping times improved (though it might have just been rebooting it a few times that did it), and along with it the connectivity to the saturn. Thanks for those that tried to help. Sometimes it's just not the hardware at fault at all :blush:
I had my power go out on me last night for some reason and it took out a brand new Netgear switch I've been running for quite some time. Just killed it. Thank god my miner is going through a power conditioner which takes the hits, surges and spikes for me. Glad you got it sorted. And on those home routers, disable all that extra crap that's in there. Nothing is needed.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 23, 2013, 12:54:01 PM
Calm down folks. I just posted it to let people know it happens even to developers, and have read what people suggested, but none of those fixed my particular issue. Every time I try one of those fixes things seem to just get a little worse so I'm afraid to touch it now...

Conman - did you try the hard reset - 5 times + 5secs + 5 times?
Yep, didn't make a difference.

Could it be at all in the programming you are doing to it? That's what you are doing to it, right? Changing it trying to make it better?  Maybe flash to and old firmware?
1300  Bitcoin / Pools / Not paying out NMC on: November 23, 2013, 12:51:09 PM
I've accumulated a lot of NMC and set my NMC address a few hours ago with a .01 payout. It has been a few hours and they all are still there.  How do payout my NMC at BTC guild?
