For anything related to politics, that was pretty interesting.

Basically, they don't want bitcoin to be used to fund terrorism or buy drugs.

Otherwise, they seemed quite interested in it's potential for innovation.

You need to read between the lines.   What i took from it was..  It's fine as long as we have a the right to cease funds, and every exchange muh collect personal details, same as a bank.

I guess people only heard what they wanted to here!  crypto will carry on regardless
What I got "Between the lines" Is that they want traceability, and identity; they were promised that....end of story.
Look for a huge jump in BTC price now! Wow.

The price is actually dropping.

How is everyone doing on this pool?

Are there any settings for this pool? I hear people changing their payout level, but don't see such settings anywhere on the site.

Are lawsuits liable in situations like this? I've never seen a company sued for not coming through on deadlines or coming up with a product. Now if they refuse to give you a refund then I suggest start your lawsuit right away. I try to follow this thread just to keep up with things, but what is the major issue? HF is having problems getting their product out the door, that I understand, but are they refusing to refund people or something?

1325  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 20, 2013, 12:03:26 AM
Whats up with their new call center? Every time I call they take my info down and say they will have someone call me back.

I asked, and the call center isn't even physically located at HF. They are outsourced.

Lots of small get rich quick companies outsource contractors for their call centers. They don't have to worry about anything. Just give the customer some phone number and that's it.

Phoenix told me to relax and and chill and they should arrive as expected, but it's hard to plan your whole day when you don't know what's going on. So I call the main people involved who are supposed to know what's going on UPS. I give them my tracking numbers and I hear, ummm, errrr, derrrr, errrrr, ummmmm, hmmmmmmm, errrrrrr, then I just cut in and say you have no idea what's going on do you? And their typical response well there was an exception (yes, that's what I told you when I called and calling about) but it doesn't say when they will be delivered. I confirmed with them. You are the shipping company that has my shipments and are telling me out right you don't know when they will be delivered? Yes, I don't know. Man, does that instill confidence in that company or what. Original delivery day was Wednesday, November 20th. By the end of the day. UPS can now deny or confirm any delivery date at all and has no additional information on the packages. I have been told if I want to put an "investigation" on it would need to come from the shipper. Soon as I heard that I knew I had a better chance of winning the pick 6 lotto here, so I just hung up the phone and went back to being pissed off.

I have KNC a little over 11 bitcoin for 4 modules. Hardware worth $2850. Right now, according to bitcoin that is worth over $7500. Damn what a little profit you got over there KNC. I wonder how they knew bitcoin was going to rise? I don't see KNC taking a chance on $190,000 worth of orders and not knowing if bitcoin was going to rise or drop or not. They must of knew somehow. So they basically have an extra $5000 from my order....damn, we are on the wrong end here. Money is NOT in the mining, it's in the mining hardware and mining pools! All you need to do is bullshit your way through a few interview, register a company name and hire contractors to make your gear. You can tell your customer's whatever you want...cause apparently that's what's been going on since this all started and nothing has ever happened. This is something I may try.

I'm running the Corsair RM850 power supply and love it. Adding an additional two modules should be fine since I'm pulling 320 watts at the outlet and that's with the controller board and all the fans. Not sure why people are getting 1200W PSU's when they really don't need them. I thought straight out efficiency is better than anything.

Also, I don't know if it's the .99 firmware or not but all my cores have stayed on %100 since applied and I've been hashing at 283Gh/s consistently with very low hardware error rate now. I'm not touching a thing.
1328  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 19, 2013, 06:25:06 AM
The only success story out of any of this is the Avalon's. When first users of those units, even though were only like 50Gh/s were raking in like $500/day I believe. Even more...for several months. Then I heard about shipping problems, overheating, etc....you name it. It doesn't seem like any of these bitcoin companies are a success and it is quite embarrassing for the bitcoin industry. While there is big news when a new rig is announced, that doesn't mean anything. If you can't deliver it  no matter how nice the miner is it is all useless bullshit that no one wants to hear.

What I have noticed is there are too many up tight people in the bitcoin industry. Most of bitcoin using populating is men and they all need to get laid and relax. Stop making your mom wash your underwear and make your food, get off your ass and do it yourself.

1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 19, 2013, 06:02:34 AM
Alright, I'll chill until Wednesday the 20th, which was the expected delivery date. If they don't come that day then I'll get my panties all bunched up. KNC would never request refunds from UPS. If they told UPS what they actually charged for a tiny little box the weighed as much as a pack of gum they would be put in jail.

$100 I paid for each little box. That is a %200 markup. Damn, this bitcoin industry is just loaded with greedy ass people.

1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 19, 2013, 04:58:28 AM
From the very beginning I wished they used FedEx. There are much less mistakes with FedEx and if you pay $300 for shipping on anything with FedEx they'll buy lunch for you that day. I want my god damn shipping charges refunded back to me. Pathetic.
1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 19, 2013, 04:10:36 AM
What do you do to get your upgrade modules cooled when they have no place to mount?

That is awesome! Interesting to see the mounting holes line up. Is that an intel fit or AMD?

And what about temps?

Well done that man! Smiley

I have a corsair h100 for my intel cpu. the brackets are much more forgiving if you guys are looking for one that fits.\\

I use this to cool my Intel 3930k 12 core processor. Works pretty well, but wouldn't do such a good job with many modules. Since you would need to cover every module chip itself.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 19, 2013, 03:57:26 AM
Got my tracking numbers from UPS this morning EST USA and tonight now say "EXCEPTION". "Packages are being held at a UPS FACILITY". Whatever that means. I called UPS and believe it or not they don't even know where exactly the modules are and told me to just keep checking the website. It did say delivery date November 20th which would of been nice, but that's gone now and there is no more delivery date. Feels like I'm getting the run around on the most expensive shipping charges ever.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 17, 2013, 07:55:48 PM
In case anyone is curious as to where my miner sits....excuse the mess.

Seems like KNC is hiring people, does this mean they will have better customer service?

There is nothing wrong with customer service, they work their socks off above and beyond the call of duty to answer all the emails. Sure they don't know every answer, but they're as new to the hardware as you are. There's a hell of a lot more happy customers, than unhappy.

Actually I'm only going by what I've read on the forums and even KNC's own forum. I'm baffled they don't even participate in their own forums daily. I don't get that at all. We know they can post just fine, because when Sam has something to say he posts it in the announcements area. I'm wondering who takes care of their forum? It has to be maintained by someone, right? Unless they just released it and let it go and don't monitor it all. Yea, I can't anything negative about their customer service, wrong choice of words...I think I just would like to see more presence of them here or at least in their own forums. For someone that spent $11k, I think they could at least chime in and say hello, no?

Is having no rewards at all normal? I've been connected and mining for over 36 hours now.

Looks like your miner stopped recently.  Did you switch to a backup pool, or did you switch to PPS?

It was switched to PPS temporarily. I thought I would have a reward no matter what with PPS. As it says, "The PPS method offers the lowest possible variance of any pool payment system. With PPS, you are paid a guaranteed rate for every valid share you submit. ". I've submitted many shares, but never received any rewards for them while on PPS. Unless I'm not understanding it. I'm aware the reward could be very low...but seeing no reward at all is what prompted me to ask the question. I was using PPS for about 36 hours or more.

Did you include the PERFORMANCE INCREASE in that chart? for Nov. Jupiters....  doesn't look like it....
but nice chart still

Not for the First batch. The first batch is at 550Gh/s we will have to wait and see what the 2nd Batch will give as per GH/s per watt.

Edit: it is important to note that the shares you submit to a pool that is accepted is what pays. duplicates or hardware errors are not always factored into the hardwares true return.

The good news is KNC and Bitfury are the best chips to date to give the closes return for GH/s reported by the miner.

Here is a screen shot of 4 Jupiters with firmware v0.9.9

Is that a custom screen/firmware you have there?
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 17, 2013, 07:03:05 PM
Damn, I hate when everyone talks about difficulty and throws out the charts. It just shows us how little time we all have. I probably won't be able to afford buying new mining hardware since I haven't even broke even with my Saturn and then just spent $2k on modules. I'd love to stay in the game, but it doesn't take a brainer to realize more money going out then coming in.

I guess eventually I will sell my Jupiter for something. The sooner the better I feel. Sad
