2521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: September 10, 2021, 04:38:32 PM
Wow so many positive reviewers about the matic. Never thought this project will have this much buzz in the future. I think such project are handy these days and better repayer considering the long term positions. I see that peeps are talking about DOGE and MATIC altogether as competitive coins but it’s exactly opposite case. I have myself invested in DOGE but I know very well why I did that and it’s because of the Elon guy. That’s all, that was the basis for it and nothing else. For MATIC the applications are wide and I kinda need to think about it’s portion in my portfolio. Definitely, after reading through all the above post you become inclined to it. I think I will see more news site wide reviews too and gonna put it on the list. Thanks guys for the amazing feedback’s. It helps.
2522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading VS investing: pros & cons you should know on: September 10, 2021, 01:25:15 PM
For the trading view, one point has to be mentioned all the time, it is very risky and you need extensive knowledge. Actually you have portrayed the trading more easy as compared to the investing. However, I think holding for longer period for some profit is the game changer here. Yes, long term holding could be risky in terms of market crashes, loss in the down trend of the market however, the situation is never permanent in that scenario. You need to understand that market is volatile here and could take bigger pumps at any given time and you have to be smart one to sell at right time and then invest again once in a while.  Cheesy

In case of trading you could be making as high as 500 bucks a day but someday you may end up loosing thousands of bucks in few minutes of time! This is just an example but yeah this is the reality in crypto trading considering the highly diluted market.
2523  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador Bitcoin payment option on: September 10, 2021, 11:58:26 AM
I think it is best decision by the government. Let’s not forget that it’s really big move for the Government to change their entire monetary system. I mean it’s question of how they would understand whose income what and whose paying how much taxes? The taxation is really important for the government as it is their income source to run the whole country. They bought huge number of bitcoin ATM and for which they will need money to maintain and keep the system running.

Now why the Fiat ? Well, everyone needs to be given the choice and in the current era we can’t force peeps to choose something. In terms Fiat it’s being used since ages and many of them may not accept bitcoin suddenly. So it’s for the best both parties (User and Government).
2524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Trending on Twitter on: September 10, 2021, 09:36:28 AM
No surprises, in fact BTC is trending every day. Twitter users are presented with hot topics around you (by region) and match your interest keywords when registering. If you change the settings of the "Trend" panel feature, maybe BTC will not appear on your homepage.

True that. Seen Bitcoin getting the upper hand many times in the past and this is actually not new coz every here and then bitcoin is being mentioned throughout the world. Even on the thread of Elon Musk, people are talking about the bitcoin just because they want him to accept the bitcoin for tesla payment.  Grin

There are so many local and international fans like that who would keep discussing about the bitcoin and its tech related stuff. In fact these days social network is all about the crypto currency projects and their advertising. I am pretty sure this will continue and might have positive impact on the bitcoin.  Smiley
2525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you scared? on: September 09, 2021, 08:21:50 PM
Come on man, not even close.  Grin
I was on my vacation and did not even check the trades closely. Suddenly saw the buzz on the forum regarding the dump then I came to know about market crash. However it was the movement when I had extra beer because I knew I can buy more coins which I always desired including bitcoin obviously. This is how everyone must think in the bitcoin industry. Look for the opportunity to buy more in this industry rather than getting crazy about it. There have been so many instances like this, so many crazy crashes like this? Just be strong and invest more which you don’t need in real world.
2526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to spot accumulation zones after a pump? on: September 09, 2021, 07:26:00 PM
I have noticed this one with cardano. I am not sure if I’m reading your thoughts correct but ADA seems to behave like this a lot of times now. It is nicely pumping all the time even though we had a crash a day ago. Then also ADA is standing clear and moving upwards with just little down trend (your micro accumulation zone). Obviously i am speaking about ADA because I am focusing on that trade these days but this change can be observed on many other coins too.

This could only be spotted by undertaking the bolinger band for getting the next candle stick move. The data might not be very promising in the volatile environment but it should at least predict the desired pump.
2527  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you notice how corporations took over the internet ? on: September 09, 2021, 06:44:49 PM
I don’t know, it’s the way the world is now May be? I mean the digital advertising is something that keeping those business up and alive. Let’s not forget that people earn from the advertising and others get published with it and consumers get connected with it. That’s the Internet today we have and I think it’s for the best. Today, same internet is home fir the crypto currency projects and for their publications. We are transmitting the data from the same internet which is being run by these suits! But I think it’s for the good, because we don’t want it controlled by someone with suspicion eye on it.
2528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use the word CRASH instead of LOSSES on BTC? on: September 09, 2021, 05:46:32 PM
I am not sure why this much confusion with you but me and my friends are using this word all the time. Market has crashed, this is also used in the normal share market. I have never seen such mass confusion with single word because same has been used and applied in the movies too! whether they are hollywood or bollywood they also use the same word. The market crash word has been used in the movie "Wolf of wall street" and bollywood series "Scam: 1992" in Indian version.

This is why its not a confusion, rather its expression of the market and it's current state. Loss is like loosing the materialistic value from the whole trade. For example market loss means your money was taken away by other trader and did not come to you again. The crash is loosing the money temporarily but it returns once the market gains the money.
2529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network? on: September 08, 2021, 03:59:00 PM
Oh my God, this project again? This is one of the idiotic project I have seen around the crypto market. The thing is I’m very frustrated if I even hear the name pi network because that has been said to me many many times in my circles and other chat groups. I just hate it how people are mining the coin by installing the app and that too with just a hope they will get the money for it after they launch it on the exchanger.

That’s seriously dumbest lie and still peeps believe in them. Too many peeps asked me to be their referral but I would donate to poor rather than be their referral lolz.

I have seen the values crunching on their app and I was so laughing at it because they think they are actually mining and helping with something. If there are no exchanges for the Pi then wtf it’s being mined for? Lolzzz!!

It’s as fake as it looks and sounds.
2530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Age will you introduce your child to trading on: September 08, 2021, 01:18:19 PM
Though I am not married yet and kids stuff is far for me this is question worth discussing. I see many of the replies state that they would do it as early as possible and I think that’s really fair thing to do. I have myself always thought why I would have on-off with the crypto thing and why I did not got involved with it as earliest as I could have been. I won’t make this mistake with my children and will let them know about it as soon as they start learning maths and codes in the school time. You never know how they might turn out to be best crypto player in the future. Moreover, would also teach them about the bitcointalk forum and will ask them to work here and know more about the community. So yeah that’s gonna be fastest decision no doubt about it.
2531  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yesterday's drop in prices, was it natural or man made? on: September 08, 2021, 12:56:41 PM
Definitely whales action. Correction do not happen with such strong / sharp drop in market capitalisation and thus the value. The first thing first, bitcoin crossed 50k for this reason only and it was just FOMO kinda plot so that everyone can start thinking that it is next level ATH thing. However it turns out it wasn’t that kinda pump after all. Now that whoever planned this pump is satisfied with the value and might have sold millions altogether. Naturally all the altcoins will always follow which we have seen the case all the time.

I am not surprised nor curious as to why this dump? Since this has happened so many times and since we know the volatility process of crypto one should not be worried about it.
2532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana breakout on: September 08, 2021, 09:02:31 AM
The ability to process hundreds of thousands of transactions per second is part of Solana's creation. In addition, Solana's focus is on making decentralized finance accessible in large numbers. That is the main focus of the Solana Foundation that I read about, so it is not surprising that many investors believe in Solana.
This is the most promising L2 that leading the race. Im not a solana hodler but clearly they won the competition here. Im a solid fantom and avalanche hodler but cant argue that solana keeps it steady while the two I mentioned somehow lag but ofcourse Im faithful with that. Cant just deny that solana did a great job on this.

If we are talking about the lightening network replacement then this could be in the race. Considering how the fees and daily transaction are growing on the erc20 network this will be just an alternative to them. However, I also think about it in different way if compared with LTC. They are the oldest player in the field and also has lowest gas fees and speedy transaction but they are not being as popular as they should have been. Being one of the victim of high fees of BTC and ETH I would always prefer those alternatives and would pay little fees and do the job. If they can do it then they will be popular and will see good days.
2533  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the wrong statements about bitcoin again but from Nigerian EFCC Chairman on: September 08, 2021, 07:45:48 AM
That’s neither good nor bad news considering we are talking about the country where financial system is literally broken one and they are not able to follow up the proper guidelines to run the country. Nigerian currency is the living proof for the same. The statement won’t matter today or tomorrow from the lm because they failed to improvise their own currency which is also Fiat in nature and would have been far easier than crypto currency. If they start the crypto adoption then new investors can walk in their, get some businesses running if not at least pay the locals in crypto and change the Fiat to crypto infra. I think this is the close case that can ever happen if they understand that they failed for their country.
2534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs with intrinsic value, is it possible on: September 07, 2021, 09:59:34 AM
Thing is even with the artists and commercial people NFTs not being prepared in right sense. I have myself tried to make NFT with my pencil artwork but the fees and listing on their site is way too difficult. I mean let’s say I don’t have much knowledge about NFT so I need to hire their services where I can list my artwork and then they will market the same. They will sell it for me and will take huge share out of it. The problem is I am not fine with it since there is big portion that is taken by the service who offers me the listing. Over the time NFT will loose value if artists get frustrated with such services.  Embarrassed

So I am not sure if gold and other digital assets would be point of interest to list with NFT Value. The bath doesn’t fit really.
2535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you consider living on crypto? on: September 07, 2021, 09:37:29 AM
Always been interested in crypto and ways to spend it in the real world. I just want that everyone start accepting it and make an infra which would allow easy expenditure of the same. Last week was on leisure trip in Goa and there were so many foreigners around me who are ready to spend as much money as they want in hotels, beach side leisure, sea foods and shopping and what not! If they start to accept the crypto then the day is not far everyone would be happy.  Cheesy
This is just out of imagination that how crypto could start to be accepted as international come local current. No barriers at all  for any type of country or person. I wanna have such type of experience and for which crypto needs deep rooted adoption for sure.
2536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 77% of Russian investors prefer Bitcoin to Gold and Forex on: September 06, 2021, 05:02:25 AM
That is new learning for me. Considering 77% is huge number in any country at this point. So the day won’t be far from this point where Russia will be 100% in the crypto ventures and the infrastructure will be developed full fledged. May be this will make America to think about the crypto adoption and gain the power in a race of developments. I am saying this from the past experience where America always wanted to be ahead of Russia when there was time to reach the moon and launch the first manned mission. This race and urge to be ahead of that country made America go crazy about space programmes. Let’s be honest this can be true with the crypto adoption too and overall effect? Well rest of the countries get to enjoy the portion of infra because of their developments.
2537  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: September 04, 2021, 05:53:50 AM
We study because we want to be something that interests us and the interest is nothing but our work where we want achieve something and in the process gain money/capital for the same. So knowledge is something we wanna have before we could think of generating some capital. Moreover, based on your skills you earn more or less. For example a research scientist in giant biotech company will always have more gains as compared to someone who has small course based skills working in garage shop (!). I mean this is the reality of current world and I don’t wanna offend by this. Obviously everyone loves what they do. But technically knowledge is seriously important.
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They do not want the great riches... on: September 04, 2021, 04:53:53 AM
There are many examples like this but when it comes to investing your hard earned money you can not force anyone to invest into something. The main reason is way simpler, people want to put few bucks and turn it into giant gain quickly, they don’t wanna wait. In addition to this there are also people who wish to invest money for longer period of time but they do not want it to be risked on “unknown” or “newbie” projects.

Now that you have shown this project, peeps might go and invest into it because it has “proven” then point that it’s best in terms of market cap and other investors are there to back it up.

This is how crypto investment cycle works really.
2539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's wrong with uniswap? on: September 04, 2021, 02:23:27 AM
It's not only about Uniswap. In general, ETH network is congested, and the new fee algorithm (EIP-1559) is shit. ETH is practically useless with the average fee of $30 (source)
Just use other chains with similar dex, like BSC-Pancakeswap, Matic-Quickswap, etc.

That’s really bad for the ETH network and it’s economical environment. Actually it’s even wrong to use the word economical, since it literally misfits with the same. I still remember the days when ERC was so amazing they had almost instant confirmation of transaction with few cents worth fees. Today, as the price is increasing the gas fee is rising at an alarming rate.

Though price is high it does not mean everyone can afford it. It’s about the way we used to transact! For example, if I used to pay for X-thing costing me $7 in the old days, then same thing now costs me over $37 which includes 90% dumb fees.

Rise in the price is also useless because I will have to buy the ETH or Swap the coins at current rate. What exactly are they developing is big question.
2540  Economy / Economics / Re: New York Mayoral Candidates Turn to Crypto for Votes on: September 03, 2021, 03:47:23 PM
New York City mayoral candidates have turned to cryptocurrencies as part of their campaign promises.
Republican candidate Curtis Silwa wrote on Twitter yesterday: "As mayor of New York City, I will make New York the Crypto-friendly city in the country. "Property taxes, fines, and commissions will be payable with cryptocurrencies."
“We will open more crypto ATMs and incentivize businesses to accept crypto. We must modernize our economy and make it accessible for all,” he added.
Silwa’s tweet, which featured graphics from Dogecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin and Ripple ATMs, is not the first time a New York City mayoral candidate has used cryptocurrencies to the campaign.

Ahh, I would love to pay my taxes to EMI's with crypto currencies because that will literally weigh out my burden from crypto earnings. I am saying the context that, today I literally have to think twice whether I should convert my crypto earnings into fiat or not because in my country it is still illegal and the decision is yet to be made. This makes my crypto asset virtually inaccessible to be used in the real world. If they are okay with it, then dam, I am gonna scan the address.  Grin

New York Democratic nominee Eric Adams has vowed to make New York City the "center of bitcoin."
[...]

That is an eye catchy statement and as far as I know New York is pretty great economic country and can bring more attention to the crypto usage. Being the costly its gonna make crypto enthusiast more happy about the investments. It won't be far when they will reach out to wall street as well.  Tongue
