2001  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's Stock Market Amidst War Against Ukraine on: February 25, 2022, 05:01:57 PM
That’s called as improvisation.

All the stock listed companies and their share holders might be selling the shares at alarming rate because they do not want to risk the assets and just want to have something in their hands before they can loose it all.

The stocks are not going up by the way. You mistyped in the OP I guess. It’s not up, it’s down.

These listed companies might be shutdown at this time due to war. There is also strong support from the peeps of Russia against the war and thus it could be mix action from both sides.
2002  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar rise and fall during the beginning of the Russia and Ukraine war on: February 25, 2022, 04:14:11 PM
This is very obvious that we will see lot of ups and downs in the dollar, rub, and even the crypto currency’s which is the only interest for us if we are here right now. At least guy like me is thinking about crypto only. Though it’s bad news that one nation is suffering from the brutal force of Russia, it has created black hole in the crypto universe which led us to the price chart of the past. It’s best to keep our asset secured on the crypto now as the war could grow even worse looking at the current situation.

Rest of the currencies will drop heavily, this is what happens in the War. That’s why the inflation goes beyond the limits and it devalues the money.

Remember, bitcoin still would be bitcoin now and forever.
2003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your freedom is taken, bitcoin and crypto is the solution! on: February 25, 2022, 02:19:30 PM
Though I like such kinda news and how we are able to relate the so called security of our independence through bitcoin, I’m not able to grasp one thing: Why government do not understand this?
I mean it’s been long since when they are taking such harsh actions, but one way or other we the users of crypto always find a way through it and keep faith kn crypto.

Instead of fighting for it, they should just work in collaboration with the blockchain and crypto space on it.

I just hope billionaires like Elon will push the human race towards the crypto space by taking Government along with it. May be by under the table work or straight on the face. They have the power, they should use it.

Don't flatter yourself too much... or have you forgotten how much the Sunday games are different from the final?  Cheesy

Although I have only 6 points, I will continue to use a chaotic style of play for the next four weeks, but in the final I will play at full strength as I played before.
[…]
-snip

Hey hey not sure if you missed this but I offered you a chance to join the next round as I will be paying for the buy-in. Hit me up through PM if you can make it to the game

Also another one for anyone interested in joining, I'll send the buy-in through Betnomi if I've seen you around here in gambling section. This is not limited to red trusted account but if you have a red trust on you then I might ask you to deposit and join with your own buy-in then I'll send it after the game ended  Smiley

Yes yes, I noticed it late today itself. I am very much interested in the tourney and I wanna get in this weekend. I have already PM you regarding my interest, I just hope that you will let me in. Apologies for noticing the same very late, as I was not reading through all the posts up here.

It’s amazing that you are also letting others to go for it. This will boost interest of others making this game interesting.

I will try my best to get best fight from my side on the table.  Tongue
2005  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: February 24, 2022, 06:18:08 PM
It's weird looking at your nick betwrong with another "t-shirt," i had to check twice Smiley

I think there are a lot of nlh cash tables, well 10-12 cash tables may not be many but that's what I usually see, it doesn't seem like bit to me, now in Omaha that's what I like to play at cash tables, if anything I have seen two or three complete tables.

in any case I have also been playing some sit & go and yesterday I got a 40x

I like those two versions during the week better because they are ideal for short periods of time.

See you anyway on Sunday. BTT , if there is time, join and even more so with that offer from the previous post, there are no excuses.  Cool

This is getting more and more exciting as we are nearing to the end game. I can’t believe that there are couple of players who are still enthusiastic to enter even at the bottom of all. Really interesting to see how it goes. I wish I had entered after first games itself but due to timeline I’m not able to catch up. But I just wish they will make proper timeline where we all can sit over a beet and join from both the hemisphere at one place.
Also I’m not sure if they have already started the blast competition or not. I was hoping an announcement last week. :-D
2006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Get average price of cryptocurrency for given timeframe on: February 24, 2022, 06:00:32 PM
Any idea on how you would use it? Would it be like a baseline towards what you could make a support/resistance on a specific timeframe? Or probably correlating it with data that could've caused a drastic change and made the significant market turn around or something like that?

Would it be something similar to that?

Even I’m confused why would anyone need that info. Moreover it’s simple to plot the graph against timeline to take an average estimate of the highest and lowest cost of the asset. Though it’s useless if you wanna buy based on the average price because cryptos are never stable on eccentricity prices. They are always fluctuating and I don’t think anyone need to understand this after all these years. Anyways interesting to see the new discussion as it also sparked me one thing, average price could be used to calculate nett income and gross income for thr given time point.
2007  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 24, 2022, 02:45:24 PM
I don't believe the comparison between Bitcoin and Fiat should be continued because Bitcoin is fully decentralized; it was created to give us proper control over our entire wealth in order to avoid any third parties while spending our wealth, whereas fiat is always centralized, and I can refer to fiat as CBDCs because all transactions are monitored by governments.

How it can’t be compared? It’s literally intermittently connected with each other, whether it’s fiat or bitcoin they will have correlation of unit measurement. We can value bitcoin or understand the bitcoin valuation by fiat measures only. Moreover, though crypto currencies are decentralised that’s just related to its salient features. Without fiat you can not buy crypto currency’s neither you can trade it with others. We know very well we can not understand one bitcoin equals one bitcoin math right now. We have to value different products and services in fiat unit only. So that’s it, they are connected and have to compared for the sake of measuring.
2008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and international conflict on: February 24, 2022, 02:26:22 PM
Honestly, in such conflicted situation human mind can not bend to the extreme dimension. For example one May think that lets transfer the money into bitcoin, flee the country and get settle somewhere else safe and free. However these thing does not work as simple as that ? With such conflict thing Ukraine may halt the crypto operations, may not give visa to flee the country. In addition to this they simply can’t live in other countries as they will need to start over. It’s very bad situation though. It’s example of failed economic system. Moreover, it’s peeps who should really fight back by implications of crypto currency.
2009  Economy / Economics / Re: computer capable of breaking elliptical curve encryption algorithms on: February 23, 2022, 03:29:49 PM
Oh come on, I tried this thinking way before this OP. Even tried to convince many forum legends how one can break the code with simple machine learning! The thing is everyone is ending at the dead end where there is no way but to turn back. We even tried to feed the Artificial Intelligence code with all the data that is available on the interent today, where as, i = infinite character who always captured the Seed for any action that has been taken in the past. By this it will understand A = X seed, B= Y Seed and same goes for the letter.

However, there are trillions and trillions of combinations considering all the letters, numbers, special character and even space!

You know what, the computer will go hot enough to explode before it could crack the code!

This should be fun reading it: SHA-256 All Possible Combination & Breaking the code Hypothesis
2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Frozen' Bitcoin Tied to Canadian Protests Lands at Coinbase, Crypto.Com on: February 23, 2022, 02:07:16 PM
This is a lesson for us. We should be taking great notes from this as not to use any exchanger or service which can expose us to the final destination and vice versa. Just how easily the police tracked it by sending few notices to the banks and back tracing the whole coin trigonometry.

Best to avoid this and use private wallet on your mobile phone, desktop or hardware wallets to both send and receive and cold store the same. It’s mind wobbling to see how it’s not all anonymous or even pseudo anonymous.
2011  Economy / Economics / Re: Measuring crisis effects on: February 22, 2022, 06:40:32 PM
The assumption is not flawed as long as it fits in the definition of inflation itself. Economist talk about the inflation or depriving situation based on national development in terms of money inflow and outflow from the central treasury. There is always incubator which takes care of back up money in the emergency situation however in the pandemic the timespan led to worst possible down turns to few of the countries. One of the most powerful country like USA itself is example of this. Pandemic has really hit us hard, so I don’t think any assumptions are flawed here.
2012  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: February 22, 2022, 06:27:55 PM
It is a pity that the last time  betnomi has never responded to this topic in this topic. Are they the founder of this topic? Maybe they can provide some more information as the website has undergone drastic changes. How do the users like this Have there been people who have played and deposited and got paid? That seems to us to be more pertinent questions than all that crap talking about poker. and there is no need to say that about VIP. There have been a lot of issues with the site in the issue, I would like to read some more player experiences here in this section.

Relax there are not many changes in the site mate. Plus if you are regular user of the site then why you should be worried about them explaining to us. We can just notice few things here and there on any gambling site all the time.

All the major changes like rewards, new rake back style and VIP program has already been discussed many times by the betnomi.

Plus poker is what they are known for, so just sit back and enjoy the table if you are one of the player. Otherwise choose from thousands of slots sitewide.
2013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 29 Year Old Legend In Crypto Trading on: February 20, 2022, 01:14:11 PM
I am not sure if I follow this right. The guy owns the company already and I thought he was solo legend whose working with his own strategies in the crypto trading.

His company Alameda actually owns 100 million worth FTX coins and the project itself is backed by Alameda whose founder is this guy. No trace whether he himself founded it or not but it’s growing in right direction.

Lovely to see they have started it in 2017 and it got to big heights in short time.
2014  Economy / Economics / Re: Nice job Justin! on: February 20, 2022, 11:48:26 AM
Oh actually thanks to Justin, he just made everyone aware that banking systems are forceful organisations who could out run your part of money when situation like this come underway. This is so bad, I mean they literally did not even think about it for one minute before freezing the accounts. I’m sure this gonna turn the whole user into crypto enthusiasts. That’s just one good thing about this awful story. May be everything happened for good. I just hope they will get back the accounts and will get into crypto sooner or later. Lolz
2015  Economy / Economics / Re: US Government! You are Welcome to the Bitcoin Age. on: February 20, 2022, 10:51:23 AM
What I understand from the above article is US is doing what any other country shall be doing to clean the mess from their land. It’s very simple they are just working on their different agenda so that crypto currencies do not become weed in the coming days. What I mean by this is real simple: they want the crypto to survive but they just want it more regularised, more under control rather than too free for criminals, robbers etc.

I don’t think they gonna go very hard on the crypto as the time will pass on. It’s just about the time period when crypto gonna go bloom in the USA. It’s IT hub, the least we could expect from them.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD seems to be majorly targeted towards well perfoming assets like Bitcoin. on: February 20, 2022, 09:58:41 AM
Definitely. Crypto currency’s always been cursed with the FUD all the time. It’s so funny to watch that whenever market is going bear all the humanity would be following the bad news like sheep’s, yes it going down; oh my god crypto has fallen, bitcoin is bubble which is bursting and whatever it may be they will be all like publishing the same thing.

The funny part is, when the bitcoin is going up still peeps would be afraid because they will keep asking how far it will go and should I be selling my bitcoin or not? Dam in anyways they are spreading the FUD.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin recovery agent on: February 20, 2022, 09:35:55 AM
If they have already lost it to the scammer then how come it’s gonna be recoverable? Do you really think they might just have it just lying in their wallets? That’s just insane and I don’t think even if any agent or someone come by then the cost of recovery and his fees would be heavy. It’s gonna be crazy deal and no one willingly go first without payments. Believe me, if you still get someone to recover the keys or whatever it may be it’s gonna need escrow and it will cost you big bucks.

Moreover, must know that the coins may not be there anymore, better keep checking the address from where it got stolen and if it’s not there anymore then leave it.
2018  Economy / Economics / Re: The Problem with Mainstream Banks and a New Alternative | Fluid on: February 19, 2022, 03:11:26 PM
The project seems interesting however I see many glitches in the implementation and execution with the traditional banking system. What is the first reason banks will accept this coalition with the rival technology that is blockchain?

If this would have been middle way then isn’t we are already doing the same with the stablecoins like USDT, though they are more or less centralised. But we did it already?

May be someone just explain in brief what’s the principle behind this project?
2019  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Time Machine - Mining bitcoin with Pentium processor on: February 19, 2022, 02:28:17 PM
Not sure what's the best way to celebrate it other than altering the personal text field on my profile.
It looks like I am still time traveling as we speak so mistakes are possible, but I couldn't reach 2010 and speak to my old self with instructions to mine (or buy) Bitcoin Tongue
Thanks for correction.

Don't have pc to mine nor money to purchase but have Nokia n70 with gprs connection, probably could use some faucets but doubt if there were web wallets then Undecided

At least you had Nokia N70, come to India in 2010; smartphone were dream device back then. I still remember I was in my High School back in 2010 and all I had Nokia XpressMusic 5300 model. It was keypad phone with EDGE connection.

So bitcoin mining was out of question for us.

If anyone was mining in India during 2010 then I would say they were from future. Lolz.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: February 19, 2022, 01:50:24 PM
It only makes you rich if you are at the right time at the right coin!!
Meme and along with it NFT, is the world class booming market. Meme coins do not have any basis at all. They are just well known for one fact that they are priced very very low and you can buy them in bulk. Once they go up few % your bulk holdings can multiply the amount of fiat largely. So I’m pretty sure it still makes you rich and until you hold correct coin, you could be millionaire too. Let’s not forget the examples from DOGE and SHIBA and recently FLOKI.
