1781  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine has launched a global initiative United24 to raise funds on: May 05, 2022, 01:32:40 PM
I hope they use the money from this donation to build their country,,, not to fund war with humanitarian donations.

You seem either confused, either implying some odd propaganda.
They have to defend/keep their country first, isn't it? Rebuilding the country makes sense only after the war is over.

Correct. Though these funds are being called humanitarian, we all know this will go for purchasing the weapons and armoury which is required during this war. There is no way Ukraine could keep fighting this war forever since they are loosing the money, central reserves and most importantly Ukraine has lost their daily income as no single business or corporate world is running?

This is but obvious, first stop the war, increase the deadly weapons in their country and set back Russian troops.

As they say everything is fair in love and war, so the donated money most probably will go here!
1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the fees aren't enough? on: May 05, 2022, 12:33:13 PM
That wont happen. Do you realise the final year of mining? 2140? So many things will happen during this much period and who knows bitcoin may or may not exist and moreover new tech could be injected by that time. Let's assume if nothing happens and we have bitcoin only option then imagine the value per bitcoin that will be during this period? Could be hundred to five hundred thousand a bitcoin which will easily compensate the mining profitability. Moreover, this is the main reason why we see increased prices of bitcoin after halving process is compensated.

The only way I see it, if miners are to be turned of forever, bitcoin will need to switch from PoW to PoS that too after 2140 since it would be impossible to switch to another tech at this time.
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trustable currency on: May 04, 2022, 09:59:43 AM
Understand the importance of bitcoin! If you are asking the question in alt section but everyone is talking about bitcoin as the preferred coin. It is truly the one you should be following if you are here for the first time. Basically you get secured with proper economic coin which is not going down any real soon or more or less will never die. However other coins well they have their own roadmaps and designs which may or may not work in the near future and they could go down easily. So it’s best practice to follow bitcoin first and then go for next.
1784  Economy / Economics / Re: Probability Failure of Central Africa Republic & El Salvador Bitcoin Adoption on: May 04, 2022, 04:59:51 AM
What I am  sensing in the world charters is that Countries are adopting bitcoin without a proper plan to execute the projects. The charter is that USA dollar is dominating other fiat currencies and bitcoin is high than dollar, so it is not allowed Countries to adopt it.

It does not matter if you are reading bitcoin's value in terms of USD or EUR or GBP? I assume everyone agrees that this is just measuring unit for the bitcoin or any thing that we basically buy, sell, trade in this market. Otherwise it would be confusing when trading 1 BTC vs 1 BTC isn't it?

This has nothing got to do with adoption of non-USD countries. In fact their currencies are also measured against USD for the sake of easiness. It's like English is international language because everyone agreed upon talking/using the same or it overpowered others, whatever you may assume.

Failure, is not going to be there because as long as BTC exists it will be used, circulated and will be embedded into blockchain until the end. As long as there is willingness to use it, it will exist successful.
1785  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 04, 2022, 04:24:30 AM
I cannot imagine someone investing $1000000 into FUN tokens just for 16 free WOFs Wink

I think that any number of spins of the wheel of fortune is not very interesting for those users who have 1 million dollars. At the same time, it's worth noting that freebitcoin is time-tested, and users have already locked more than 1.2 billion tokens on the site. So there is a possibility that someone might take the risk and invest $1 million in FUN tokens to lock it on the freebitcoin site. This might not be such a bad idea given that the annual interest is up to 25%.

I think he was meaning to create a new tier with 1 000 000 FUN tokens (which would be around 10,000$). The top tier currently is 500,000 FUN tokens but I don't think a lot of players have this amount of tokens. The maximum interest is, as said before, maximum 5.1 % (4.08 + 25%).

Yeah, thats huge interest as compared to my bank. Lolz.

So I think freebitco is already doing great job by spending this much interest rate on users holding. I mean bitcoin is volatile but irrespective of that Freebitco is giving this interest is really bold and daring.

Have you guys ever thought what if the bitcoin prices drop drastically? Imagine the level of management this has got.

I think 500K holding is enough and that much interest rate is also fine. What do we have to loose anyways.
1786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin teaching approach on: May 04, 2022, 03:43:25 AM
First of all you will have to create an excellent mindset for those students and then understand who is really interested in the technological stuff like blockchain and crypto space as whole.
I mean there wont be a point to keep the whole class engaged with the bitcoin lectures. There are students who love arts, who love history or geology! Not all of them are really into maths and coding stuff.

The choice is theres. There is no point in creating unwanted distractions to such students.
However, loving the way you working towards this. Hope so your management will also agree upon the same.
1787  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest "Easter & Spring" | $4950 Up for grabs! Ends April 25th on: May 03, 2022, 07:33:31 AM
Winners have been selected, please see below:

Also, this was one of the toughest art competitions to judge so far and unfortunately some entries had to be disqualified as there was a lack of mr. roo/roobet logo or something about roobet. I won't act like I'm some sort of art critic who knows best but making your own version of Mr. Roo and not adding the logo or something else makes it hard to link with roobet and moving forward we may have to be a bit mor strict on it. Either way, all of the artwork submitted in this contest was fantastic and I'm impressed by all of you!

Would like to tell management that, its very hard to do Micro Artworks like Pencil and Chalk carving.

Though it is possible to carve figures, faces, and micro themes on it, its next to impossible to carve a name on it. That is why in my art type its not viable to imprint the name of "Roobet" or "logo" on the art material itself (i.e. Pencil and Chalk). The whole art itself is sitting on 1 to 3 mm area!! Still had it printed within the frame.

Hope Juri's will understand the challenges and consider facts like this!

Thank you.
The team did acknowledged your work, and even choose you to win TWICE on the last art contest so I don’t see any problem here and they can really change the rules any time they want, so chill because you can’t always win and this is a competition anyway so let’s just accept the result.

If you think that pencil art is not ok anymore, then try something else.
Let’s just be happy for all the winners and of course try our best next time.

I am more than happy.
I just made the point regarding where to put name on such tiny scale.  Smiley

Will think of something. Thanks.

Congratulations to all the winners!

Easter did gave me big surprise by "not" winning any of the position this time! Lolz.

Hope so everyone liked it anyways.

Thanks @Hhampuz and @Roobet. As always waiting for next competition.

I love the color gradient on the text.   Im here for five minutes trying to figure out is it a picture of the items framed or the actual items behind glass.    Great work either way, looks good.

1789  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Wallet Confidence? on: May 02, 2022, 11:29:59 AM
Another is Ledger Live which you might prefer as it supports many coins but does not support customers' privacy

Ledger Live Liars Data Collection

Just a heads up for OP here that you don't necessarily need to use the Ledger Live software. You can connect your Ledger device to Electrum/MetaMask/Phantom and most non-mobile wallet software.

Actually you can connect with the non-mobile wallet software using the Ledger Live itself.

In the new firmware that I have installed and reviewed, you get the option to fetch whole data onto your phone by scanning the QR code. This is just an additional step you need to follow by clicking synch with phone.

It will show up the QR code and this has to be scanned with Live Mobile software. You are good to go and synch up the Hardware wallet with your phone too!

1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin become the new BTC? on: May 01, 2022, 10:32:14 AM
That’s too much exaggeration of the DOGE. The ecosystem for both the coins is completely different and incomparable. Bitcoin Will always stay up due to its limited supply and so called first point of contact when investing into crypto currencies. No one new usually comes into crypto space due to DOGE or ETH etc. But most of the time it’s bitcoin only.

Moreover, DOGE does not really fit into criteria of perfect coin. It’s just gonna be a joke all the time.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good for crypto community having more Tokens & Coins as well on: May 01, 2022, 09:19:57 AM
There is no need at all. In fact bitcoin itself could have fulfilled the worlds hunger of having free flowing money. Let’s not get into the argument that bitcoin is limited in number and how everyone can benefit. Actually this is one of the pillar of bitcoin which will make it highly rare and valuable in the near future. We have already divisions of bitcoin down to the Satoshi and more over no one ever decided how much far one satoshi could go. Could be hundred thousand etc. So there was virtually enough money for everyone.

However the projects started coming up as an ideology of oneself. Many of them just out of making money and most of them are some high tech trying to be billionaire through their coins or tokens.
1793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: May 01, 2022, 08:38:04 AM
This is the very same stunt that different questionable trades use, they draw beginners by saying that they have commissions that are a lot of lower than those of huge trades. We generally to realize that no one knows where the market will move to in the following candle hour so having this on a basic level will let you know you need to figure out the exchange yourself.

No man, it does not really work in that sense. I agree crypto market is drastically volatile and unpredictable but it’s not impossible to workout the math behind it. This is why we have technical analysis support. Moreover, these days fundamentals are also influencing it a lot. Whether it’s war donations, school to college fees acceptance or some country accepting it as legal tender or Elon musk buying Twitter anything can literally change the course of bitcoin these days.
It’s needed to study in all the senses.
1794  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Exchange Bans Relatives of Top Russian Figures on: May 01, 2022, 08:25:49 AM
That’s really bad for all Russians. If such big personalities are not able to get hold on to their own accounts then think about the common users of binance. Since most of them might have done the KYC already they all will be busted one by one as per new binance announcement. Similar goes for the IP based account access via Russian territory.

However, I feel like there is no mistake of the common users who might never have imagined that their leader would break a war against any country. Poor peeps might just loose all the funds for nothing.
1795  Economy / Economics / Re: India Exploring Commercial Uses for CBDC, Says Finance Minister !!! on: May 01, 2022, 08:02:49 AM
That is just another attempt to attract peeps towards the local fiat currency to which they are converting into digital format. It really does not matter if they form multiple partnership with USA or any other countries but at the end it would be to take attention away from the crypto currency’s and put into their own digital currency.

These are all attempts to keep peeps away from the crypto space. The same way she also imposed 30% taxes on the crypto transactions. So this is what it means.
1796  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 30, 2022, 01:06:39 PM
Roobet may or may not start another competition in near future. If anyone was interested he should have participated in the given time period. If he / she can't meet the deadline, i am afraid they will miss again if roobet decided on another competition.
Those who are serious, would not let go of competition and would not breach the deadline either.  Cool
Can't exactly say they will take long or not for another art contest but seeking the past trends they will soon have another one for the members to provide the artist roobet community engagement prizes and their way to be creative. As you see last two contest were not too far from each other and as soon as results are out @Hhampuz may announce another one.But yes if you are really interested in participating you should submit it on time as you have one month timeline which is enough so be prepared in next one whosoever wants.

I’m not sure why many of them keep skipping the art contest? Considering the fact that Roobet has timeline of around one month for the submission everyone should know about the contest. I am so excited about the art contest that I will always go through service section or @Hhampuz posts if he has posted about the contest or not. It’s really very easy to keep track of it. Moreover, they are the one who keep posting art contests every other month so not a big deal really. Hope everyone enters in the next one. Good luck.
1797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $75 million Seized Bitcoin to be used for donations on: April 30, 2022, 09:37:16 AM
That is good one. I am not sure how they gonna donate it to the peeps because since this one is in the crypto format! They might have to convert that much money into the fiat and then go for the donations isn't it unless and until it is crypto free country. Plus if they are going to pay in the crypto then they will need to collect the addresses or generate one with private keys in their possession. Has someone got these questions on how they are going to do that?

For fiat usually the donations goes directly into the bank accounts of affected peeps. So just having normal thoughts about it. But apart from this its really good gesture.
1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No condition is permanent in crypto on: April 30, 2022, 09:10:29 AM
That is a cycle that we will encounter from time to time, even when we see the market is going to be bull, the opposite happens, And when we think a bear market is coming, suddenly the market moves in the opposite direction. Our knowledge of the market is tested here, not only that, our mentality will also be very depressed.
Indeed, our ability to market analysis needs to be improved through this experience which I'm sure everyone has experienced.

It is not what happens when we think about it and opposite happens. Its just that we do not do the analysis based on technical aspects but only fundamentals. That is where our thinking is always wrong. Most of the peeps think its always opposite of what they think but its just that market is always in cyclic mode. Whether you take example of share market or crypto market the cyclic changes are happening in both places but only one major difference of "timeline" + "Volatility". In the crypto it is way way aggressive as compared to the other market. This is why there is high chance we end up in that thinking where market is behaving in wrong direction etc. In reality we must go through versatile factors affecting the market and then forecast its direction.
1799  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentinian Government Ready to Take Advantage of Crypto Holder on: April 30, 2022, 08:50:33 AM
Nothing new as what other countries are doing right now. These days all of them copying each other. The taxation report is also compulsory in India. Finance minister Sitaraman did the same when they revised the bill for India-22-23 goals. The tax is not 2,5,10% but its whopping 30% on every crypto transaction which includes buying or selling of the assets in the crypto forms.

How they're going to know that a citizen is a holder? Unless that citizen declares and tells that he's a holder then they should know. But otherwise, the government will never know that someone is a holder unless being declared and proclaimed.
Well, this is where things are going for the governments to take advantage of the people that are into crypto, they should also regulate the local exchanges.

It is simply based on the bank records. When you buy and sell the crypto then your local exchanger will have to decalre the asset holdings with your KYC. Plus whenever you will be withdrawing the amount into your bank account or sending money to crypto exchanger, that's gonna be on record as crypto profits. So there you go, they know it.
1800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Investing Myths vs Crypto Investor Reality on: April 30, 2022, 07:10:08 AM
Don’t Need to Invest Outside Retirement Account
Investing for retirement is incredibly important and should be a priority in our world. But retirement savings may not be the only investment and you may find you want more choices when targeting financial goals.
The investor reality is people may find more opportunities outside of your retirement account.
Crypto investing can offer many more investment choices and flexibility over a retirement portfolio.
Pro-tip: Understand your risk tolerance and identify your financial goals to invest in crypto.

I am not sure how crypto can be good investment for the retirement. Yes, I have myself made some crypto retirement investment just by keeping some % of my income in bitcoin with the thoughts that it may be equal to million worth in the future and my money will just multiply like that. However, there is no solid plan for this or there is real proof that bitcoin will stay for that long or it will value the same in the future or might be just zero who knows!

I mean take example of Government Pension Schemes, tell me on reason why I should choose 100% crypto as my retirement plan rather these schemes who guarantee me my money + interest after retirement.
