1861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex crypto stocks commodities wich one ? on: April 10, 2022, 04:58:04 AM
Forex crypto commodities stocks wich one of them are most easy to manipulate ?wich one of them can be not influenced by whales ? Or all of them influenced by whales?

Manipulation is literal by product of news media, what is being taught to peeps, global impacts, severity of factors directly involved with those commodities. I mean, if someone just pays off pretty handsome money to most popular media around the globe then they can easily manipulate the market for commodities. Where everyone see the forecasts? Well, news channel is the first place in the morning you tune and see the index’s.

Yes it is hard but I think it’s not impossible if planned properly. Because in the background a whale could be whole institution. What Belford did? If you know then you know, rest is history.
1862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are getting stronger, how are you contributing? on: April 09, 2022, 04:48:34 PM
That is so cool to see. Definitely there are big changes happening in the world of crypto. Even I can see how there are huge number of commercials running throughout different channel providers. This was not possible earlier due to stringent regulations and unclarity of bitcoin usage. After the bill was passed for the current financial year things changed rapidly. Lot of exchangers got released, they started promoting it every platform possible. Well in my country this change can be seen clearly as it is way different than last year.

Your company actually promoting the bitcoin in perfect way. There is always craze for such T shirt and caps these days. But from memes to bitcoin pictures on the T shirt is real maturity.  Tongue
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT Project on: April 08, 2022, 07:14:30 PM
I thought there will be some votes here. Unfortunately none of them really voting and even I did one of them just because I knew about it and nothing else. Its interesting how we seeing NFT as big market out there and how peeps are spending millions and billions on them. Not sure if the forum fellow members are into it but surely something is not right here. Lolz.  Grin

Well, you better go on open sea market and see whose the most favourite NFT maker. I think thats the best way to play around this market. You get to see the scale of bidding as well and ideally the more its bidding the more peeps are interested into it. Just hit click when you like that particular NFT.
1864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN SMART MONEY CONCEPT on: April 08, 2022, 06:55:35 PM
You may wanna improve your style of posting. I’m not even sure what do you want to achieve with this thread? Do you want to offer your technical analysis to every trader here or you just using that site to showcase the signals and it belongs to you?

There are already some good players around the forum who are continually giving information like this. However they are having understandable presentation of everything.

Try to write in proper way, use tables, graphs, picture to have proper thread. Peeps will surely come by.
1865  Economy / Economics / Re: Britain To Announce Its Crypto Regulatory Intentions Soon on: April 08, 2022, 06:29:35 PM
The main concern of illegal usage will always be there whether it is gold, fiat, crypto currency or centralised stable coin. It’s like nothing changes at that point. So all they have to do is just think about how they can introduce mainstream adoption of the crypto currency and not limited to stable coins alone. They should bring up legislation where other coins should be in use along with the stable coin. If they want tax it then tax it after conversion to fiat and getting credited into bank accounts. Because if they came up with the plan to track everything on chain then I’m pretty sure they will end up in wrong side of the judgement in public opinion. Tether had amazing chance, until they came up under juri radar. But definitely worthy with 80 billion dollar economy.
1866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the society matured enough to handle privacy? on: April 08, 2022, 05:27:00 PM
What to say about the history of humanity? Different phases, different ways to trade with or without privacy.
Our ancestors used to live free, hunt for their own foods, slowly started growing crops and mastered new technique for the same.

Slowly came the era when few were good at making weapons, few were good at farming and few were good at arts and so on.

So what they did? They wisely started sharing those things. They traded food for cloth, art for stones and pebbles, metals for food and so on.

Was there a system? I don’t think so. But they did it at “free will”. They set out their personal weightage to everything and traded. It was more or less decentralised system.

However, as the revolutions started hitting, came the King rules, systematic settlements where there was rule. Money starte printed on stones, metals and only that was valued and was traded.

They devalued the so called PRIVACY of personal stuff, no one cared about your art skills or foods or cloths. If you have Kings coin then only you can have trade.

This is what we doing today with fiat in more organised manner with clean prints and stamps.

Coming to your question of privacy:
Have you heard the news? Banks getting robbed, people getting robbed on streets, people buying Cocaine with fiat and criminals around the world getting their money ceased for illegal activities?

Why bitcoin is privacy concern if fiat was so much regulated and yet it can not stop the criminal involvement?

Bitcoin is perfect trading asset, similar to what our pre ancestors did.

I am able to send it at my will, whenever I want and how much I want. In addition to this the value is versatile and it my look out when to trade its and at what value. That’s my privacy bubble.
1867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Financial crimes against traders on: April 08, 2022, 11:02:09 AM
We have suspects of financial fraud against crypto traders:
-snip-
The SEC have to show us also the full details why they let those financial institutions to be active.

Anyone have evidence about suspects here then please contact with "lightgoverence"

Thats the point mate, ask SEC why are they still operational? You know why? Well because they are valid instituions with all the steps taken publcily and announced time to time. They are not brokers like Wolf of Wall street's Jordan Belford who gonna set a bribe for the SEC themselves or screw his clients when he is high on cocaine.

Come on man, what are you even talking about?

What evidences are you collecting. Second thing, why are you even posting it here anyways?
If it is that serious then just go to media and publish your evidences against Micro strategy out there. Tell you what, dont visit SEC because who knows they might be working under the table and hence could go against you.  Grin

Action will be taken right now we collecting evidence.

We will be waiting for your evidences.
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dormant Address Containing 100 BTC Activated After 12.4 Years When BTC Was $0.08 on: April 07, 2022, 05:10:28 PM
But is there any explanation on how the spam address is generated? Like you said they are just out of spammy intention!  Like what is exact purpose of all those addresses? Why anyone would want such addresses to send the coins. Or am I looking at it in wrong way?
Yes, someone's advertising for something that appears to be called memo dot sv.
You can just send a transaction with a small amount of BTC to '1Lets1xxxx1use1xxxxxxxxxxxy2EaMkJ', as well. It's some random string starting with 1 and then a valid checksum.

They want to do it because they know people are looking at that wallet (e.g. to see if whale transactions are happening) and then they see this ad and might visit the website. It happened on the forum donation addresses as well.

Forum funds: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=155000.0
Address: 3D9KJKMK6ff5Rtkj8nkMjuiTQ55GMAdHyj
Check spam transactions: https://mempool.space/address/3D9KJKMK6ff5Rtkj8nkMjuiTQ55GMAdHyj

Wow. You got answers to everything isn’t it. Knowledge is true power. Very impressive  Wink

Yes saw the second transaction on Forum donation, it’s reflecting exactly same addresses as mentioned in our discussion. So the valid checksum make sure the transaction is completed and it doesn’t fail.

Exactly what I was doing when I saw those addresses for the first time.
That’s why I went into detective mode as per @stompix.  Grin Grin
So it’s just way to advertise and attract the stalker of that address. Makes complete sense since I was doing the same until now.

Added to do list: learn about memo dot sv.

You can see there that the company is called No Inputs!  Wink

Above addresses uniquely have these words: Lets, Full, Of, See, Dot, Topic. Kinda interesting to see them in one batch.

Seems like the spammer should consider a different text, this one is too hard to read for some:

Ohh I see.
But is there any explanation on how the spam address is generated? Like you said they are just out of spammy intention!  Like what is exact purpose of all those addresses? Why anyone would want such addresses to send the coins. Or am I looking at it in wrong way?

No problem; just start with the learnmeabitcoin page, maybe Bitcoin Wiki; the coinbase transaction is not complicated, it is basically just a transaction without inputs. If there are questions, you probably can find your answers online or in this forum without even a new topic, since it's been discussed so much already.

I just had a look and in the first commit of the Bitcoin GitHub repo, these transactions were already called 'coinbase'.
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/4405b78d6059e536c36974088a8ed4d9f0f29898/main.h#L438
Code:
bool IsCoinBase() const
{
    return (vin.size() == 1 && vin[0].prevout.IsNull());
}

Ohk, that’s lot of learning to do before I can understand the same. Thanks for the share. This will surely help everyone reading through this thread. Smiley

You're trolling, aren't ya? Cheesy

In case you're not: The 'Coinbase' company was founded in 2012.
Ever wondered how they came up with their name?

A coinbase transaction is the transaction that grants a miner their block reward & the transaction fees.

[...]
A coinbase transaction is the first transaction in a block. Miners use it to collect the block reward, and any additional transaction fees.

It’s like putting your details on a self-addressed envelope so you can collect prize winnings.

Those tiny transactions going to what seem like Bitcoin addresses containing words, are just spam. Those UTXOs are unspendable since the addresses are actually invalid.

I was just making the story out of those clues. But its good to have detailed explanation above to understand what it is actually.
Yes, I knew that Coinbase was founded in 2012 and mentioned the same above. However, I was just trying to figure out whether they already had a plan to invest in future exchange and wallet program.  Smiley

Wow, I did not know about this! Thanks for sharing this. I will read more about it.

The fact that I myself mine, I never read in-depth to understand the first transaction in the block are called coinbase! But I am not a technical guy, I just read and build things. This is surely interesting topic to learn about. I think I will read in depth and also make topic about it in the beginners section. Nice idea! Thank you.
1871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dormant Address Containing 100 BTC Activated After 12.4 Years When BTC Was $0.08 on: April 07, 2022, 01:12:48 PM
Got some doubts on this one with big story going back of the mind. Like COINBASE was mining before and they were planning the foundation of same.

Is it from the Coinbase owners or something like that?

Coinbase was founded in 2012. However the sending party is COINBASE which include comment like (Newly Generated Coins).

The very first unspent transaction came to the parent address: 1CUe12WDAo1DadWj1Y7XMXV2J8PiGsn2F1 surprisingly from COINBASE.  Dated and time stamp 2009-11-23 08:02

That Newly Generated Coins supposed to mean they were freshly mined I guess?

If you checkout the total transaction that happened in this address then you will find some interesting addresses involved.

Above addresses uniquely have these words: Lets, Full, Of, See, Dot, Topic. Kinda interesting to see them in one batch. Actually this is the batch where this address received more bitcoins. Afterwards they spent small amount in 2020 and now they have sent BTC 50.

Probably they are from Coinbase pre-party coins or may be some big players out there.

This is just hypothesis. Could be right could be really wrong. But it's fun to link such dots. Idk, while linking them found interesting addresses at least.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie Q/A on: April 06, 2022, 01:05:12 PM
How to avoid easy scams?
Just invest your money in bitcoin and ether and there you go, you can keep yourself away from the scams. I think being new person on the forum you should head over to beginners section where you will have amazing topics to learn from. I don’t know how much faster you can gain the topics but there are versatile topics. Whether it’s trading, buying coins, mining, understanding blockchain and more you can gain everything.

But don’t just fall for the other coins just as of now. Learn, then invest.
1873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Financial crimes against traders on: April 06, 2022, 11:31:37 AM
So you're saying that Saylor announcing that MicroStrategy purchasing bitcoin and GrayScale posting metrics are considered "pump and dumps"? You do realize that these companies are public and are required to publicly announce their balance sheets right.

He is surely chilling out while posting that. Lolz. If any such news comes out in the market then remember they are top Most holders of the bitcoin and if investors decide to sell off to safeguard their money then this will create chaos in the market.

I means we will have to see bitcoin literally getting traded at 3-4K USD after this FUD news. Anyways, they are big boys they surely have protection policies regarding such acts. SEC might be their right hand how knows.
1874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of bitcoin transfers on: April 06, 2022, 10:56:20 AM
The cost of bitcoin transfers has increased. Do you think this is trivial? Is it worth transferring money with bitcoin? Why transfer money with Bitcoin if the transfer cost is high?
like i have 100$ in one of my old wallet but i cant transfer it because of transfer fee is more than my asset !

The fees are currently not that high: https://mempool.space/

You didn't mention which wallet you're using but assuming it's a non-custodial one and not an exchange, then its likely one of the two:

- Since the fees are based on the transaction size, you probably received too many small payments.
- The wallet you're using is overestimating the fees.

Exactly. The wallet can give exact idea about the fees. Just checked mycelium wallet does not have significant fees at all. Whether you choose low speed, economy or fastest transfer speed the fees are all same at the moment. You should always have wallet for which you hold your own keys otherwise you get such problems, high fees, fear of loosing the coins etc.

You can go for bitcoin core wallet. You will find official download links in header news. Or else you can download mycelium android app for easy install and usage if you don’t want to go into much of set up.

Applauds for this guy! He is just legend man and must be futuristic thinker. He is coming so clean without any greed for money and no stress feeling regarding future asset management. He truly understand what world needs and behaving like that. It’s impressive to see that he still drives average car even though he is a billion dollar owner. Moreover he has achieved so much in such short span of time. He is 30, he thinking like 70 yrs old experienced man, wants nothing but peace. I hope world appreciate him with noble prize.
1876  Economy / Economics / Re: New Financial Year Begins | Are you ready? on: April 06, 2022, 05:39:32 AM
@so98nn, I have to admit that you have planned everything very well, and I hope that you will be able to achieve good results in everything (or at least in most). I have to admit that I do not have such detailed plans, but I always strive to be as less dependent on the system as possible, and this especially includes banks and any kind of loans. I understand that loans are inevitable in some cases, but fortunately I don't need them.

I can't say that I am 100% ready for everything that is coming, but I consider myself a very flexible person who can very easily adapt to most changes. Given the increase in the price of everything, I focus on buying only what I really need, as much as possible the use of bicycles and public transport, and the beginning of the season of work in my garden where I hope to produce healthy fruits and vegetables this year.

Luckily, I've invested wisely over the years, so Bitcoin can always jump in to help me if needed Smiley

Thanks for your gesture. Well planning is very important when it comes to the finances. Plus, it has to be stronger in my case where I am going to focus on my business which will need hard capital to grow. So definitely need extreme plans and finance management for the same. I wish you goof luck too and nice to hear that you already had excellent management of the money over the years. Stability is always good.

2) Keep low to null dependency on the loans.
3) Keep debts out of the chart!
Eh, happy financial new year to you as well I guess(?).

Those two points above are key strategies for anyone if they want to make any money, or to preserve what money they have.  I see way too many folks living way beyond their means, maxing out their credit cards and re-mortgaging their houses to get cash and so forth, and interest rates will kill you.  Even crypto traders trading on margin are crazy to do so IMO.

It's great that you've got a good job in the biotech industry and do crypto mining as what sounds like a part-time hobby.  I don't frequent the B&H section, but I'm going to check out that thread of yours you linked to.  There's tons of money to be made from mining various coins, and I wish I'd gotten into that when I could afford the hardware.  Dammit, I'm always five hours late to any party.

A lot of peeps actually!
Even within my friend circle there is big craze for the Credit Card usage. Here the pay cycle is mostly 45 days. Peeps here use it and try to repay with salary but once they do they get nothing in their hands. I have told them many times, to have Mutual Funds, SIP's or at least small recurring deposit to save something for yourself.

Thats why dependency is very harmful if you do not have contingency plans!

Impressive plan that you have. A few hours ago, I'm with my cousin and coincidentally, we both talked about investments and businesses. My cousin got a good career and high salary with the current job while having other investments through partners and networks(commissions).
I've told her my plan about having more real estate to have it on rent and earn passively through it and as well ideas that are good at these times like related to petrol and food business. Honestly, the one that you have right now which is mining, it's part of my plan but I cannot execute it for a long time, it's not that I don't want to but many things have to be considered such as the area and the cost and consumption of electricity. It's good to have other source of income while letting your bitcoin and other cryptos on the seat if you're holding for long.

You can definitely mine. If you are expert in the field then thats way easy. If you are not then just the hit tutorial that I have made for the beginners.
Believe me once you will start the mining, you will have great feeling out of it. The first payment hitting your wallet is something cool.  Cheesy

I think this is not new site and they have already appeared on the forum before. I found one more thread stating it’s complete scam. Not sure why this guy came up suddenly out of no where with newbie account.
Link to the previous discussion : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4786889.0

No wonder why Op Just posted picture of the site. That is also not visible to me, may be he removed it from the source place?

Whatever it may be, it’s proven scam. Better search more discussion on the forum about sicodice before investing.

Edit: the link is already posted above I guess. So Yup stay careful about this casino.
1878  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to accept deposits/payments in 100+ coins ? on: April 03, 2022, 08:34:11 AM
Anything i'm missing over the space ?

How about custodial payment prcoessor/gateway such as https://www.coinpayments.net/? While you don't have control over the token, it's far cheaper than setting nodes/wallet for each altcoin.

I would honestly recommend using BTCPayServer, but it's Bitcoin-only.

There's community modification to support some altcoin though, https://docs.btcpayserver.org/FAQ/Altcoin/#which-coins-does-btcpay-server-support.

Though they won’t be having any control over the coins they can just easily withdraw the accumulated payment everyday. I don’t think that will be much trouble. If coinpayments is making it this much easier then surely e-commerce has to tackel the rest.

I’m very much interested in such service but yet far from developing the e-commerce place for my artwork. I’m jumbled in between whether to go for NFT selling of pencil artwork or just open up doors for e-commerce and get the order in versatile coins like the OP.

The more interesting fact is, they also have solution for POS (point of sale). I think based on your business nature this can also be added advantage.
1879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new bitcoin documentary on: April 03, 2022, 07:31:16 AM
Definitely worth watching. Today itself I saw the title and was about to post about it and saw yours. That mans whole life savings goes to the sink in blink of an eye. The 500,000 CAD, Dam it was terrific to watch the trailer too. I am very excited to watch it and hope there won’t be any sort of spoilers in this thread.  Tongue

I know this one is based on bad experience and it could lead to little negative marketing about it but at the end it’s commercial sort of marketing. So hope this brings attention worldwide. Excited!
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 03, 2022, 04:21:12 AM
I am not planning on selling yet but yes planning on grabbing more as we are way below the previous ATH. There is only one time when I will sell the crypto, if it’s emergency or family requirement where there is nothing left but only crypto.

However, I did mistake of selling in the earlier days. Whenever I used to get crypto payments then I used to cash out immediately irrespective of prices.

But when I look back to those transaction it hurts, as the price has increased a lot for those coins which I received at lowest prices Back in time. So no I’m not selling real soon.
