1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 08, 2022, 11:10:02 AM
If they are not going to follow the roadmap then definitely they ran into some sort of trouble “genuinely or intentionally”.
If its genuine then they should be able to explain their investors and it better be justifiable. If this does not happens and its intentional then I am sure projects screwed and they wont be able to explain this to their investors.
1522  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Tesla's Electric Semi Resolve Shipping Issues Related To High Fuel Costs on: August 08, 2022, 10:40:56 AM
I just hope they will charge those monsters with green energy and not with electricity which was produced with coal burning.

If we keep this feature in mind then definitely it will have amazing effect on the economy as whole. It is one of those thing where you need only one successful launch and the whole world will follow it. Im hoping this would be turning point for whole world where all of them start using electric based vehicles.

If Tesla succeeds then other major companies will follow the norms and thus electric transportation era might just begin!!

If it happens then yup we will prosper perfectly.
1523  Economy / Economics / Re: Fashion Brands uses Blockchain Technology on: August 08, 2022, 09:56:58 AM
Immutability to copy of brand, im not able to think how is it possible with the use of blockchain? I mean we can register that brand or may be some design but there is no possible way that it will be cross verified when someone copies it?

I am sure we do not download clothes digitally in this universe (or parallel). All these technologies are good to keep the data integrity but brand protection and all seems way too stretched.
1524  Other / Meta / Re: How important are you on this forum? on: August 07, 2022, 02:23:15 PM
I think as long as I am contributing something to the forum, having fun with some members and having debates with few of them, I keep enjoy reading their posts and getting along with the conversation. I keep reporting posts all the time and surely seen effects on it from moderators which means somehow somewhere one of the staff is also noticing me and doesn’t matter if they reply to me someday.

The only thing that matters to me a lot is, keep surfing and reading through forum everyday without fail.

Its vital part of my life, and there is no single day I haven’t been on forum whether I type something or not but I would be at least reading some random posts on phone, work pc mow and then.

I believe we are part of bitcointalk family already!
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Long-Term Holders Are Increasing as Investors Shift Focus on: August 07, 2022, 09:58:07 AM
Yeah the coins somehow joking on the peeps who did not entered at the right time. But as a saying, its risky to invest in meme coins after DOGE really became doggy when its master Elon left it middle of nowhere. With the new meme coins launching again and again it became really funny but somehow many of them made millions of dollars out of it and became rich very quickly. Call it as their luck or being at right place at the right time. Its very attractive these days and there is feeling of want of having SHIB. May be there is no harm having fee million SHIB in wallet.
1526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe ? on: August 07, 2022, 08:36:21 AM
If you doing it on binance then it has good volume for exchange. There is no need to go for p2p unless and until you need the money to be coming from the bank account of another person and somehow show it as normal trade and not against the crypto. Most recently that’s viable option to avoid the government taxes, TDS and regulated stuff. You should really choose this option depending on your location. Like in case of India, you need to pay 30% straight up. Not only this, if you are going to go for p2p then also exchanger will have 1% TDS deduction plus they will notify on KYC you made that transaction. Ultimately you have to pay 30% in any scenario.
1527  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency an Alternative in Resisting Economy Hardship on: August 07, 2022, 08:05:59 AM
Seen pictures of Nigerian currencies being thrown away in bulk as if they are just piece of papers so its definitely worth a try for them to switch to the crypto currencies and get synchronised with the worlds rate of trade. I mean who would want to take out bag full of stash and ask shopkeeper to give a chocolate bar in exchange that. Obviously that is heart breaking for them and the Government itself to use their own fiat. Sadly, they can’t bring up the prices against dollar because it would take lot of development in the nation, business establishments, e-commerce going up and what not.

But Nigeria does not seem to be in position to do that. They are in hyper hyperinflation.

However, do not forget that we are talking about something that is special when we look at reward points since they are literally giving away free money. If you end up getting 100k of it that would be able to turn to cash and there is nothing wrong with that, it is literally free money and there is never anything better than free money in the world.

I see it exactly like you wrote. It means that WOF is (for me) worthless only in 1/3 of cases, as I do not have any big hopes that one day I will be in top 10 of lottery winners. Sats are obvious - you receive them instantly, you may spend (on gambling or not ) or keep and collect extra % daily. RPs are like sats, just you must give them time to grow, like plants ;-)

I feel you brother. I am on the same path, I have told myself not to touch that exchange button for RP's because once they are in my account they are either going to be spent on the gambling, lottery tickets or betting. Once I start that I can't control it and its greedy nature of ours to have more and more money. I treat RP as long term investment which I am supposed to cashout only after its worth something. I am not interested in withdrawal of 100K RP's. Meanwhile market will also flourish with the time and once the prices high enough then sweet fruits can be eaten.  Cheesy
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to BTC if China attack on Taiwan? on: August 06, 2022, 04:47:31 AM
The independent role of the bitcoin prices and war out there is already proven. There is no firm relation bewteen the two but it could be associated with the facts such as war suffered country getting donated in bitcoin and thus large sum of bitcoin getting bought, traded, exchanged for the same?
May be there is zero to no effect on the bitcoin once china and taiwan go into the war.

The fact that we have independent investors in the bitcoin overcomes the war situation. For example, consider big institutional investors with millions of bitcoin in their wallet, how on the earth would they be affected with the news that they will sell, buy more, or do anything about it? and why would it affect the prices anyways.
1530  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyundai rolls out 27 heavy-duty hydrogen trucks in Germany on: August 06, 2022, 03:19:12 AM
Fun reading how we talk about green applications of something but then when we are going back to the basic science of it, there is always that one step involved which is creating green house gases. Lolz. One energy to another energy, no destruction. We are either converting the energy to more powerful or more cleaner form but it seems there is no way it's 100% green!
Whether you go for electrolysis or other forms of chemical reaction there always one element and step involved which is making it less uncomfortable with the goal. Like use of methane, which is done with steam-methane electrolysis but in the process it does releases the carbon.

This is similar to: Charging your Tesla from the electricity which was generated far on hilly station power plant running on charcoal burning.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Billion Bitcoin users by 2024 is possible with increased access to electricity on: August 05, 2022, 12:57:07 PM
Ever seen pictures from refugee camps? Sadly its not about electricity and access to technology rather its all about how every person living on the earth can get quality food and water daily at least for one time! That’s the area of major concern in the Africa. Saw some documentaries based on Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which shown whats the situation out there. You can not really crunch this data and expect some high tech stuff goes boom. There are many who has access to the mobile phone, electricity and Internet but not everyone is capable to be user of the same. This could be due to poverty, family needs, daily survival struggle and what not.
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: Crude Oil drops below $100 on: August 05, 2022, 05:09:23 AM
Every government is unique in the way they control the prices for their nations gas. Unfortunately, some governments are managing it poorly such as India. Though westerners suffered with Russia Ukraine war and gas cut offs and Russia increased the export to India at lowered prices, India seen no change in the gas prices. The fuel is enormously higher than other nations around. With the current price drop, there is no change at all.

Problem is with central tax and state tax system. You will literally find different taxes and thus prices from one state to another state within same country.

Its managed in most horrible way you can have.
1533  Economy / Economics / Re: Congress' push to regulate Big Tech is fizzling out on: August 04, 2022, 12:51:28 PM
Does anyone smell jealousy here amongst the big corporations and even down to the international governments? The composition of article stating how big fintech are getting compromised just because they have out grown expectation of their own governments and now those corporations are trying to build up their own ecosystem, different softwares now and then, to overcome the integration of other companies into them.

Though there are many applications which always need open end source so that integrations of two program can be done without hassle, there are now monopolies where all in all solutions are being provided.

Just like Apple and Microsoft example in the article.

However, they forgetting one thing in the decision making: “We the end users”. We need all type payment solutions handy and every user is comfortable with something but not with everything. There needs multiple choice for sure.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need Advice on Purchasing Bitcoin (not financial advice) on: August 04, 2022, 12:05:39 PM
Its interesting how she has not earned any interest in the bitcoin yet after you have given her so much. May be you should talk to her one to one regarding this whether she is really interested in bitcoin or not? It could happen that she might be just keeping your excitement in the crypto space by agreeing to all the yes’s of yours. Sometimes that happens in the good relationship. She might be a keeper for you mate.

There is no harm if she doesn’t want to save money at all if she is spending it on the wanted stuff. All she might be thinking about is her child and boyfriend so that she can get on to track one more time. Smiley So advice is to talk through this.

1536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical analysts be like.. on: August 03, 2022, 12:51:24 PM
Hilarious!  Cheesy
Most recently the market is more often factual basis and not TA based. Don’t know why but things are panning out entirely different as to what indicators are stating. I am watching so many insta reels these days where pro traders with enormous Multi screen set up of trading show what would be next step and end up investing charming amounts when they see it might burst upwards but happens something else. Its really really funny man.
1537  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 03, 2022, 08:08:57 AM

Well said, it really is just a matter of individual's point of view. By the way, what sort of mining activities do you do ?

Also, I wish there was a feature in freebitco.in where a user can send or receive RP from another freebitco.in user.
This way, if a person has friends on freebitco.in then he can help the other guy reach the target of 100k RP.
But at the same time this would also increase spamming since many people would start using alt accounts and keep transferring RP.

Yeah that's interesting feature they can introduce. May be they can have some restricted limit or they could add it into the premium feature list so that the spamming can be avoided by that way. Peeps will always find a way to spam system but I believe in case of RP this could leave out bad effect on the freebitco site stability. Reaching the goal of 100K is really big task and only those who are with premium memberships and WOF can dream of reaching it faster. I did it last month but when I started with the freebitco, I calculated the time period to reach to 100K was around 5 years of time with lowest free rolls, promotions of 2x, 3x, 4x RP etc. I am not sure if they read this or not, but feature like that would be God's Gift. Tongue
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we've gone from 1 meme coin to one hundred now ? on: August 02, 2022, 12:52:37 PM
I think the whole meme coin generation is joke itself. It’s too overextended and overdone everywhere. It was all fun up to the DOGE but after that they started coming one by one and flooded the whole market. Literally now they are having mergers with metaverse too and thus following the path of getting NFT’s of their own meme coin. Whats all this going on! It really sucks and making the crypto look like a joke. This is getting horrible day by day with meme coins and its way confusing over the period of time because we can’t really rely on one ( though its funny investing in them)
1539  Economy / Economics / Re: A Secret to financial breakthrough on: August 02, 2022, 07:37:44 AM
This kind of dilemma is highly observed in the Asians rather than Western Hemisphere. The cultural differences are huge and that can impact financial stability vastly. For example, westerners learn to split from their parents or joint families at very young age and they start to earn their own money via part time jobs, internships and starting own business at very very young age etc. However, this can not be achieved in the Asians. The whole joint family concept and “No-independent” decision making criteria makes it harder for youngsters to choose their own career path and financial freedom.

The secrete to financial breakthrough is to work hard and smart based on your situation. For above two categories one would get it sooner and other would get it later based on the situations.
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: August 02, 2022, 06:18:48 AM
The capital gains on bitcoin is huge, my country levies taxation around 30% and not only this if you own a business then you have to pay additional 18% export tax on the bitcoin sold against fiat. This is very very layered structure from Indian government so that we can not freely use the bitcoin.

If this continued I am afraid there is no way Indians can get into bitcoin freely unless and until they fly to tax feee country sell the assets there and wire it with fiat to get only capita gains as personal passive income. Idk, but it sucks.
