VIP and other ranks are dependent on different factors in different platforms.
It could be based on turnover or GGR, and other metrics. Those tags were merely based on the user's game style on our old platform.
Mainly, a user's risk score, a newly registered user could be classified as a VIP by our automated system.

It is one of the reasons for the new platform.
Now, we are implementing a level up/ rank system based on the amount wagered/ turnover.
Spoiler alert, we will be giving away 5 Tesla model 3 out in our VIP competition which should be live sometime next week.

VIP rank has its own perks so questions about it. To become VIP based on wagering system would take us big amount of money and obviously patience since not everyone is able to wager huge amount in one go. But ranking up system makes us involved in the casino and can also give back big rakebacks and winning on the way.  Cheesy

Spoiler alert, we will be giving away 5 Tesla model 3 out in our VIP competition which should be live sometime next week.

This is crazy now. So betnomi is not giving perks, it's giving away whole chocolate factory to the winners. Lolz.
This is a insane promotion and I like the way Betnomi has up lifted this suddenly in the new year.

May 2 models would be for the Non-VIP players?

Since this is a spoiler I believe you not gonna tell us on what basis the winners will be chosen?  Grin Grin

2143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make $ 1,000,000 out of $ 30,000? on: January 11, 2022, 02:57:39 PM
You don't need to be contacted over telegram. You just need to improvise your methods and get most out of the crypto currency world. I dont know why everyone who is sinking always calls for telegram calls, what are they trying to achieve? Is it digital era where they seek donations through digital platforms? This isn't good, and it is leaving behind bad impression on the youngsters.

I am pretty much sure that this forum itself has crowd whose teen, youngsters with new career opportunities who are reading your post and that just gives them really bad idea.

You should be working your ass off to make the fortune, nothing is going to come in as free lunch box.

Yes, awful that you are in such situation but its not the way really. Stand up, even crypto will provide millions of dollars to you in bearish trend if you play well and skill-full.
2144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling isn't the end it's just the beginning to have more coins on: January 09, 2022, 04:49:40 PM
Now that’s called as psychological dilemma of investment. Your brain tricks you when it comes to spending something valuable and in this case it is the money. You are going to stake your money into something that’s way volatile and unpredictable in the cycle of investment. This is why most of the peeps are scared of such investments and when they do it the time slows down for them a lot. It goes down the sink so much that they think it’s being long since when their investment is stuck and they are not able to get out of the bearish trends. Same happens in the reverse psychology when they have to invest and they have money but the coins are at its peak.

Slots is more complicated because then you are talking game design and giving some revenue away to that 3rd party operation or thats how I imagine it mostly goes.     I think the crash game is fairly hilarious and is just a maths equation isnt it, not sure but slots would be another level of complexity.   Sports betting is the most viable highly promoted yet freely sourced sector of betting I reckon.

Yes obviously. More or less any slot is getting played by thousands of players at the same time and site wide. So the algorithm has to workout the chips in and out all the time, it has to look after the profitability of the casino and at the same time need to keep the clients happy so that they can keep playing. Definitely big time calculus goes into it. Who knows there might be small patches of AI in it to keep the program adoptive rather than just loop program that runs monotonously forever.

For sports betting, price prediction, or any other prediction based games which are entirely based on factual and real world data can not be hampered at all. They simply rely on the odds, game results, and distributes the reward fairly to everyone.
2146  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything you wanted to know about ES Volcano Bond and were afraid to ask! on: January 09, 2022, 09:44:15 AM
Cutting long story short: this bond is a financial disaster.

There is a very good analysis of this concept from a Bloomberg article. Basically, buying an El Salvador Bond and using the residual amount to buy bitcoin currently produces a superior result. And this holds true in pretty much every possible future scenario. Even in a very unpredictable scenario of bitcoin going to zero, the payoff would be better for the traditional finance bond. In an environment where Bitcoin would go to zero, we are left wondering why we should buy a Volcano Bond in the first place.

I run a few computations in the spreadsheet, and even if in the ultra bullish case illustrated by Samson Mow, the Volcano Bond is inferior to the strategy of buying a traditional bond and investing the change left after the bond purchase in Bitcoin.

The logic says this could even get worst if bitcoin mining load goes to EL Salvador and all the other countries revoke from the mining operations or lets say they completely ban the use of bitcoin. There would be only one country left to mine the coins and use them and thats El Salvador. The thing is, they are using it as the legal tender which means whole thing is official and by few years they will have almost all of the population of their country using it.

Imagine for a sec if other countries started to pull of from the crypto space for X reasons then the whole money that is invested into crypto will be sold off and El Salvador would be buying it as there would be no other buyer of the same.

What will happen to their bonds by then? The value will decrease dramatically causing huge inflation in the country.

Seems terrific idea to go to the sink.
2147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: January 08, 2022, 01:45:15 PM
Scams:

-High return claims
-Ideas straight out of the sci-fi world.
-Coins with too less minting. For example, availability of coins in thousands, claiming quick up surge in the price due to demand and less supply.
-Projects which has theoretical applications and products/services.
-Copied project, the ideas which are already on the market and being played fairly well by the aboriginal project.
-Projects with too much expenses in show casing, marketing, poorly handled social media's, over spent budgets on the campaigns, airdrops etc.

Legits:

-Roadmap with clear vision of products/services being offered.
-Ideas which seems realistic
-Proper circulation of coins, tokens, proof of mining, fair liquidation of the coins.
-Classical social presence, enormous support
-Projects with obvious, first glance acceptance.
2148  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro zone inflation hit a new record high of 5% in December on: January 08, 2022, 12:37:02 PM
There is possibility of higher inflation as the covid is acting at its best in the current period. With the wave of omicron the hospitals are filling up fast and thus most of the workers, job holders, labours, to professionals are getting bed ridden. This affects directly on the business for which they are working. This disturbs the way things are working for them and ultimately the income is not getting circulated. Most of the money is getting diverted into hospitals which is not really an income source for the nation as they have to payback the health care infra.

On bigger picture scale, I see this is one more wave of covid and nothing else. With the cases rising all over the world fears starting to begin and peeps are numb at what they are doing. The inflation is going hot because whole economic chain is getting disturbed again and again.
2149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 08, 2022, 12:01:46 PM
[...]
What do you think? Is it really possible to become rich with 0.01 BTC in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

I would open up conversation by saying that nothing is impossible. The fact that bitcoin went from few cents to 50K USD in decade of time, its way easy for me to imagine bitcoin going to hundred k or million per btc coin is not that difficult. With the time bitcoin is gonna get deep routed into all the countries with proper infra structure. A time will come when bitcoin would be needed by everyone in a decades time.

Peeps right now are from the crypto generation. The students to teenage to adults to corporates everyone knows bitcoin and they use it or earn it by some means and other.

This is future force will keep the bitcoin going on and will make our dream of 0.01 worth millions.
2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 07, 2022, 05:10:32 PM
It’s not scary at all. It’s just that the projects are coming as a result of new opportunities. Do not forget that it’s the blockchain and erc20 tech chain which is making it new ideas to bloom in this era. This is the generation of crypto space for sure and its making its way towards the new future.  Wink

Yes there is high chance that the quality of the projects that is being listed may not be of high standard but it gives us opportunity to explore what peeps has to develop. We surely get many projects turned into classic examples to invest and go upright with it.

So nothing to worry about it but make sure to look through the genuine projects only.
2151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell a little bitcoin now to get into alts when it all drops soon? on: January 07, 2022, 04:50:53 PM
It depends entirely on how much money you got in the bitcoin. I think selling bitcoin is bad idea though because it is prime investment which you should not touch. It comes under elite investment which can grow and go boom at any time. If you wanna invest in altcoins then simply keep that portfolio segregated from the bitcoin.

Moreover, selling bitcoin for altcoins is stupidity as you can loose value in the transactions made due to volatility, transaction fees, maker-taker fees etc. Better get it with Fiat and have proper entry point for the same.

Also, ever thought how much it would cost you to sell little bitcoin? Think.
2152  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 07, 2022, 01:15:15 PM
Yup skills! There you are. There is no point in playing blind in the crypto market. As far as my financial condition is considered for the last year cycle it was not that good as did not look after the crypto trades at all. The market and its cycles were way out of my head and so far I did not risk anything. The knowledge is very important to trade in bitcoin in commercial sense. It’s worst gamble ever but with hugest returns you can imagine.

In the skills, I’m also trying to adopt new kinds of artwork apart from Pencil Carving. I’m gonna explore digital paintings, chalk arts etc.

Technically speaking I’m keeping vision to expand my mining rigs. Currently only two machines running but slowly I have learnt huge lessons so far and using which I am going to develop it further.
2153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A quick reminder from Eric Adams, mayor of the City of New York. on: January 07, 2022, 03:40:17 AM
Oh yeah, the bargain sale has come like a Christmas gift for all of us. I’m not surprised at all with the prices going down. Pick up the history chapter from any year and you will see that at the beginning of any year the crypto would be bathing in red and making its way to ATL (All to Low) of that year or marginal space.

This is an immensely great opportunity for all of us to bag more coins.

I salute to the Mayor that he is sticking to his words and also motivating all of us that he is still positive no matter how much the price has dropped for the bitcoin.
2154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULDN'T THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOKENS BE MORE SUPERVISED ? on: January 06, 2022, 06:41:45 PM
Impossible.

You are suggesting to confiscate the decentralised operations and still use it as decentralised asset.
You can’t control anything that is being made on the blockchain or crypto environment more precisely. These projects and involved teams might control the process, structure and flow of the project as whole but unfortunately we can’t control them on how it should be done.

That’s the whole point of crypto projects. They are free, publicly accessible to develop and manage.
2155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Comparison of Bitcoin price fluctuations with other coins. on: January 06, 2022, 03:25:46 PM
I think bitcoin price fluctuations have a deep relationship with other coin price fluctuations, what do you think about this?

This relationship have been studied many times but without any particular references no one knows why this happens. I mean this keeps happening without fail and only few coins were able to break this relation in the past or currently.

Moreover, look closely not all the coins are doing this. I mean those with ranking above 100+ or those with new adoptions will not correlate to the bitcoin and would act normally even if bitcoin is going up or down.

Could be parallel relation due to after effects of price movement.
2156  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 50% of the college Class of 2020 had full-time jobs 6 months post grad on: January 06, 2022, 02:02:18 PM
It is but obvious to see this sharp fall in jobs. The unemployment is not because of freshers but could be added number from those who lost the job due to businesses running out and getting into sinks. The whole and sole reason as we know is COVID situation. No wonder they had to do it as the financial crisis was at its peak level.

So if the peeps were loosing the jobs then it’s big question mark how the freshers from the 20’S class would get any job ?

This is not only in America or Europe but all the continent and countries in it. Most hit is American only followed by some major Asian countries.
2157  Economy / Economics / Re: Indiana life insurance CEO says deaths are up 40% among people ages 18-64 on: January 06, 2022, 12:42:51 PM
That’s ridiculously high number considering the scientific advances that we have made in the field of medicines and technology as well. We live in the era where robots are also able to support the complex surgeries and already living the sci-fi lives on the earth in the 21st century.

I suspect the numbers are growing because of sudden deaths from N-number of causes. For example, accidents, drowning, deadly disorders, diseases, wars etc.

More or less this surely puts burden on the insurance companies however they are smarter to exclude the above reasons as they might have pay over the shoulders to cover all of them.

Anyways, COVID is main reason during this period which has been discussed already.
2158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is down on Kazahstan, Bitcoin Hashrate drooped, Price affected? on: January 06, 2022, 07:30:20 AM
I see this as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin or even other crypto currencies which has blown off for now. The thing is nothing is permanent in the crypto. Such kind of failures, drops, shuts has happened many times in the past and they have somehow affected the bitcoin prices. This may not be effect of hash rate drop but it’s just after effect of the news. In other words many millionaires see it as an opportunity to buy more crypto. They know it for real that crypto will restructure its base no matter what. Moreover, there is possibility that currently peeps will buy more this gaining huge liquidity in the market and pumping the price even higher.
2159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Part II - [GUIDE - Personal Experience] How to get started with Mining Continued on: January 05, 2022, 02:39:44 PM
BURNING ROOM

Okay guys my Rig had some bad patch last month, thats December 2021. Things are now under control however this is lesson for everyone who is mining in their houses or nearby residential zones.

I have set up the rig on top of house, in a room which is not connected with any other fire catching stuff around it. So I had this fear all the time what if machines go rogue and burn down everything. This is very common in the Crypto Mining world and thats why I had this hunch.

So luckily this hunch got me in safety protocols first way before setting up the mining rig.

Now what really happened?

Well, there were crazy commands going on by the mining rig's Auto Reboot program.

In my OS I have set up safe fail mechanism for the mining machines.

This has some features like:
1) If mining rig has problems with GPU then it will reload or reboot based on the issue that is fetched.
2) Mining rig turns itself completely off if any GPU goes nuts, for example aggressive undervolt or any other electricity issues.
3) If any single GPU is making stuff harder then rig will command it to stop or go in standby mode.

In my case, it was second one. This was found in the crash log of my machine. This happened due poor connection of riser with one of the GPU. This was siganling that GPU is overheated and due to which rig was rebooting itself multiple times.

This fluctuated the electricity flow and fuse blown off. Sadly it also caught the fire and whole room was filled with smoke.

This was very very horrible experience. Due to breaker and additional metering there was no harm to the machines, air conditioner, Internet router, PC etc. However it would have been bad one if all the safety measures would not have been taken earlier.

So guys,

SAFETY GUIDELINES

1) Make sure all the electricity cables are in good conditions
2) Make sure the set up which has been done is in the place where there is no connectivity with residence. If yes then have plenty fire safety standards.
3) The room must be painted with fire proof paints.
4) Have at least two Fuse Breakers in line with stabiliser.
5) Load the mining rig with Automatic Fail Safe programs all the time.

ACTUAL IMAGES FROM SITE

All the machines are up and running one more time.

2160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fees wtf airdrop on: January 05, 2022, 01:47:10 PM
Has anyone noticed this? Or anyone have seen their eth gas fee spend on wtf dapp? I think you will be delighted to know that it will be compensated via airdrop on feeswtf however this is likely to be the same with gasdao that you need to claim and spend gas fee again. Check the metrics of the airdrops.

https://twitter.com/feeswtf/status/1478186679609401348?t=yc4F3LPqdb8oIbAfSdwwrA&s=19

Not sure if this will recover the gas fee value we spend on the past years on trading but if they do then that's good.

I dont think they will recover the gas fees as it is spent already and its so volatile in terms of pricing that they cant catch the fee value which was established previous year. This is applicable to all of the assets in the crypto space market. So any services that claim to have fee returns would have to be very rich backing or either another interest programs running on their platforms which will give them security of funds so that they can spare it over their users as claim backs.

Imagine a simple gambling site which gives us rakebacks, but these rake backs are very less or small % which is lesser than what we spend or deposit thus its like giving back from what we deposited.

Similarly gas fees would need fund assurance first to have charge back.
