1761  Economy / Economics / Re: Constant defamation of crypto on: May 12, 2022, 08:51:42 AM
Have you seen and listened Warren buffet talking about crypto ever? And have you ever compared Elon musk talking about crypto? You see both of them are billionaires however both of them support crypto currency in entirely different way. One hates it and Call it bubble whole other one wants to expand it, want it go green, accept it in real world application and what not.

Im pretty sure defaming and fame crypto currencies is tug of war. We as common earner and user of crypto shall not get dragged into this. If we have the chance then just keep earning it and using it.
1762  Economy / Economics / Re: Difficulty in regularizing cryptocurrencies in current governments on: May 12, 2022, 07:46:59 AM
The trend of hacker attacks on cryptos and why many governments don't accept cryptos?

Having crypto currencies into custodial wallet with your own private keys is most secure financial locker I have ever seen to be honest. I agree that banking has existed since many many decades now however, the system is still traditional, so many bank accounts are hacked and I don’t think we hear too many compromises in the crypto currency.

Let me stress one more time, if it’s private keys and custodial then no one can have your coins at any cost. The system is irreversible, can’t be hacked!!

On the bright side the claim is exactly opposite as what you think.
1763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who’s itching to buy? on: May 11, 2022, 05:39:25 PM
Well with the current bearish trend everyone can grab an opportunity to buy any coin they want. However, for me bitcoin remains the king and in fact I am planning on buying it with such huge discounted rate. I mean definitely this crazy down at this point and peeps might be worried about it however they should not be, it’s just freaky situation but with more advantage than disadvantages. For sure, those who are selling gonna regret it and those whose buying will end up with coolest profit charts ever.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bukele's Bitcoin City view. {Gallery} on: May 11, 2022, 05:02:48 PM
That is beautiful plan but is it going to be a reality sooner or later? Because I’m concerned that this is gonna be huge investment, and who will be joining this venture if it’s all idea and you have to move into it someday ? I have seen Dubai’s man made island becoming success over the time however did not hear a thing about any other project which got total success. Even we had Akon city concepts but they remained that way only - “concepts”.
Just hope that this one would be miraculous.

Finally, the statement addressed the Covid outbreak in China and the government’s attempts to address the situation.

“In addition, Covid-related lockdowns in China are likely to exacerbate supply chain disruptions. The Committee is highly attentive to inflation risks,” the statement said.

“No surprises on our end,” said Collin Martin, fixed income strategist at Charles Schwab. “We’re a little bit less aggressive on our expectations than the markets are. We do think another 50 basis point increase in June seems likely. … We think inflation is close to peaking. If that shows some signs of peaking and declines later in the year, that gives the Fed a little leeway to slow down on such an aggressive pace.”

This was actual point of initiation where everything went down to hell for US. Honestly they were too aggressive in giving away the stimulus package to the residents and in the process they initiated the bumpy ride of printing money. That was first instance where US first got into debts actually. They over spent on the health care system.

Many of you would say health concerns were SOS at the time, true agreed. However there are other nations with enormous population and less money available but they managed to get out of the outbreak.

US, failed in its plan and execution. They driven the whole thing in political manner - by giving free stuff they were like attracting the votes!

The whole thing turned into disturbed supply chain, less money for spending and limitless money printing.

What US doing today is their own fault. They already need huge supplies from the China and some other countries which is now interrupted as we speak and whole business thing is turned into inflation today.

But in reality, fiat money is a debt-based asset. Numbers, on the other hand, just represent asset quantity.  Meaning, when people hold banknotes or deposits, the borrowers owe them economic benefits in the form of goods, services and labor. The holders invested these benefits in banknotes or deposits, that were put in circulation with loans. And that is why, borrowers are forced (via mortgages and other liens) to trade goods, services or labor with the holders, to be able to repay the loans.

Bitcoin is mined, miners use the energy, miners pay the electricity bills, miners do the proof of work to embed the transactions on blockchain. Mined coins are used in monetary system for the circulation, that includes trading, lending, staking, exchange of different coins using bitcoin and even withdrawing that money to the bank account.

This is where the bitcoin world is merged / linked with the real world banking system and therefore I see no difference in using bitcoin or fiat?

Though I read through the arguments up here, I just could not resist but had to explain how I look at the bitcoin and how its not a "paradox". Peeps became 10 year old trying to explain themselves the bitcoin bubble which will burst soon but it was never a bubble and things are still pretty perfect.
1767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading - experience and tipps on: May 08, 2022, 05:17:48 PM
I have a very small copy-trading portfolio on eToro just for fun, and I really don't expect to make a significant amount of money. In fact, I expect the traders I copy to totally mess it up at some point.

Think about it — if I was a totally successful trader, I'd take advantqage of my strategies on my own and make money myself.

Pretty fair. I also read and followed copy trading on the eToro itself. It did not convince me and neither I tried it since it felt too much at the time. I literally laughed on how they had portrayed different peeps on the marketing pages where you can select one of them and start copying.

The fun fact was, you had range from highly recommended to lowest recommended. Tell me why would they even keep that range and lowest performer? Looked way funny so ignored it and never tried.
1768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 08, 2022, 09:23:11 AM
Let me add one more

Do not trade with shitcoins

If you trade with shitcoins, it can be the beginning of losses, if the trade does not favour you, you could have lost most of your trading funds until you realize what shitcoins are.

Some coins are also just like not rising during bull run but continue to be stagnant or fall, until the bear crypto begin and the shitcoin continue to fall more than others. That would indeed be a pain in the ass.

Well with OP stated (mastering and stuff) I dont think any type of coin could make us loose the money? I mean thats the whole point here, you master yourself with proper trading analysis theory and practices and then jump into the market.

In fact peeps are literally using shitcoins as the best way to earn money as they are easy to buy and sell if the volumes good and price is tiny! Such coins are easy to drop off.

At that trade bulk buys matter a lot rather than more money and less coins.

However, at the end of day its up to the trader how they perform and whats the status of market.

Anyone is betting on the Bitcoin and ETH price in may month? I stated betting on 29th actually just to get highest time wedge multiplier. At the time it was around 86x however, suddenly the whole stuff got turned into opposite direction as we see the prices dropping due to bearish trend.

Basically I was expecting the market to go up but since its bearish, Im having dual mind right now. Like due to early month bearish trend it is possible that market will get invested heavily now and the prices might just go beyond 40k by the end of month. As of now, my bets are in loss for sure. How you doing with your bets?
1770  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Mortgages Let Homebuyers Keep Bitcoin, Put Down Nothing on: May 08, 2022, 09:03:24 AM
Volatility is going to be very big issue in this regard. The problem is, they may accept the crypto down payments at the given rate of exchange value but the value could be drastically going up and down and may create problems in the contract. The valuation either will be needed to lock at certain costs and then send the bitcoin or in other way the whole payment will need to be transferred directly to the banks as soon as real estate owner or broker takes it.

Using bitcoin as collateral has the same risk as above due to its volatility. Return / Repayments could be little problems. What if the price at which it was lend is much lower but recurrent is higher? Either party would be in loss based on this math.
1771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin A global and free currency through the Lightning network. on: May 08, 2022, 08:29:46 AM
There are pros and cons using lightning network and a lot of this is being descused in this thread:

The Lightning Network FAQ

Many specialists that know every inch of this technology watch this thread so if anyone have any question its the best place to find good answer.

Interesting article, thanks for sharing. Although we keep discussing that how lightening network could ease the process of sending money which is almost instantaneous and borderless then also there are few roadblocks! The process still seeks for inter and intranet to send over the money and get confirmation within nodes.

Peeps keep saying it does not matter in which country are they, where they reside etc, we can send over the money easily. True, that can be done with SWIFT too, the real question is when we will have offline nodes?

For example, send the money over cellular network, get the nodes generated offline, and once whenever connected to the network the transactions could be synch and master node formed.

This is what they do with the VISA and MasterCard actually. They rely on the third party services who will clear the payments in real time in fraction of seconds and then synch the data with former companies.

I just see it as another network in crypto space with same limitations as using bitcoin or eth or any coin.
1772  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: May 07, 2022, 09:43:50 AM
Definitely bad. Commodities like lentils, herbs, wheat, chicken eggs or even hard commodities are getting at its peak. Even the vegetables in the local markets are 2-3x pricey so no we are not doing good at all.

The problem is our society is not perfectly circled. The jobs we are doing well what they care about daily lives and how things are working up? The salaries are not at all getting hiked. That remains constant all the time so how we gonna tackle the inflation at all?

The average families here rely on each others wagers and we have no hourly wagering system which means a fixed salary is credited every month and have to work the finance based on that.

Its bad, its calamity!
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "NFTs are overrated, over valued and nothing but useless tech fetishism" on: May 07, 2022, 07:30:40 AM
Well you have written it correctly. The market is opted with too much over rating. What was dreamt for artist is now become land of garbage with whatever that comes to existence is converted into NFT. I mean peeps are so much over excited towards NFT they are like find it interesting even if I’m posting picture of my inverted TV. (Just funny expression) but that’s the reality right now.

If you leave out few of the interesting arts out there, rest has become rush race of whose getting how much money for the garbage?
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT development on: May 07, 2022, 07:04:47 AM
NFT story is all over the web and this time what got my interest is a story of a young guy who sold a picture as an NFT, how are they transform an ordinary picture into NFT and sell them for a good price. I need help to know how to make this happen.

Don’t fall for the traps. There might be peeps around the internet who would be selling you services to make NFT like that and show you million dollar dreams! That guy who had his selfies sold just got viral out of no where. Once this trend is done it’s done! There is no way you can copy the same and try to get millions of dollars for it. Most of the copied NFT are getting cents worth likes ok OpenSea.

If you really want to create something then creat unique arts, something that’s not been posted yet. Go through proper channels like opensea without third party involvement.
1775  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 07, 2022, 06:46:27 AM
Save money- To save money is good, another popular opinion to support this is that , the money you save today will save you tomorrow.
The problem however results when you just keep saving money pointlessly without any plans on how what to do with it, The worse of all is saving money in fiat banks, that money will loose value in no time at all.

This one is literally should be excluded from the plan of execution. Any money that is sitting in your bank account is just going to make bank richer and richer everyday. With the inflations at its peak and central banks imposing higher business interest rates in rebate, we gonna make them rich and our money is going to be slaved.

All we get back is 4% or max 5.xx% if person is senior citizen and he has no idea what the heck he is going to do with that much interest money. Lolz.

The worlds changing faster, we need money to work for us and create multiple income sources. Share markets, stocks, bonds, MF's, there are so many things really! Wanna save? Save into them!
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russians collectively hold about $130b in crypto on: May 07, 2022, 06:22:12 AM
Wow that is lot of rubles actually. I’m not surprised with the numbers considering the bitcoins trend. Since ruble is falling badly against USD the number could be different at the time of publication or calculation. Most of them might have identified with exchangers and bank transfer to the crypto accounts.

I don’t think their government has any issues with such amount being invested in the crypto. After war situations even escalated to another level, like we have crypto we have secured funds (May be?). Like we do Gold in the crisis.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Looks like markets are crashing ! this is it ...it's the big one ! on: May 06, 2022, 01:53:35 PM
This is called as improvisation of investments which were made for the hard times. Considering global set back of financial management this was supposed to happen. On one side we have inflation peaking the highs and investors are just flogging the dead horse. In these situation peeps really need their money and most importantly they need to break even by re-entering the market at lows. I’m sure this is temporary situation with everyone just correcting the portfolios. Health breakdowns, wars, fud so many factors to consider really.
1778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American University, Bentley now accepts crypto's for tuition payments. on: May 06, 2022, 10:31:18 AM
Accepting payments in terms of bitcoin is amazing however, those universities who are welcoming the grounds for bitcoin acceptance should also upgrade their Tuitions with Blockchain Tech courses and whatever programming stuff etc. Now that would be next level acceptance of crypto as whole. That would be awareness of blockchain. If they start to learn it from universities then different sort of seeds get sown in their minds. This ultimately develops career directions and permanent user of crypto world. Anyways this is cool to know. Slowly this will impact all the educational systems too.
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Look what I've found on: May 05, 2022, 05:03:48 PM
Lolz, something unique from grandpa’s junkyard notebook. Very funny. This is like the whole story of average crypto owner These days or at least person whose new into the market and trying his hardest way. In fact I have read similar comments (pro tips) from many users which were more or less arguments as to why they were not able to understand the crypto or earn enough. They had junk coins, short waits, government issues, this ban, that legislation and what not. Basically you have everything in your diary which was already asked and which will be always asked by members.
1780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I think its time to start my crypto trading lessons on: May 05, 2022, 04:18:01 PM
I believe no one can learn everything about crypto in one day so there is no giving up on the part, always learning every day,  now I think its time I move into crypto trading, not in rush but i am less busy this days, I want something I can slowly learn about so is there any books or video about crypto trading? A genuine stuff that has almost all answers to trading, candles and other stuffs that a newbie needs to learn first?..
There are lots of books you can read about crypto that will keep you one step ahead of your friends. I can't recommend a book for you know cause I don't know your prospect and what books you had read before now. My suggestion for you now is to make some research on the net, you can go to Amazon and search for trading books. There are more than enough trading books on Amazon you can read about trading that will help your trading career. You can also join telegram crypto trading group so you can broaden your learning.

In the world of audio-visual its worthless to go through heavy loaded theories of trading. I know even if he goes for any tutor he will be provided with certain amount of books to go through but main vision starts when op starts playing with the graphs in demo mode. Even tutor these days start with demo account learnings. That is way easier as compared to reading books and then applying the strategies. However, I can recommend one holy book of traders these days! You can search for trading signal and their meanings. You will get little handbook which contains all the possible signal combination and they exactly mean, you can just compare them with the current live data and predict the TA. However, it is still recommended to use own logics, gut intentions etc.
