1961  Other / Archival / Re: [Table] Annual and monthly profitability of bitcoin on: March 10, 2022, 06:30:52 PM
This is crazy, bitcoin averaged 4000+ in percent hike over the five years. That’s just crazy asset anyone ever created. Now just tell me why should we be selling our coins at this point. This table just made me more enthusiastic about the future of crypto currencies. If we skip to the good part then this is gonna go up and we could simply bag 4K May be 2k percent profit in the coming five years. Though with the time more crypto investors will hop in but let’s just say the count stays the same then also thousand percent hike is not a big deal over next 5-6 years. If they still think it’s a bubble then they should just check this comparison.
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Update on my hardware store which accepts Bitcoin on: March 10, 2022, 05:58:47 PM
I kinda feeling your geo location must be with less bitcoiners and more cash loving peeps. You should do that survey so that you can execute this payment processor in proper ways.

If you really wanna push them to accept the bitcoin then you must go find some exclusive offers for the same. For example, create promos for bitcoin payments and keep the prices non discounted for the cash payment or credit cards.

Show them how you do not need to lay extra surcharges on the bitcoin as compared to the CC payments. Keep some free giveaways for the bitcoins.

This could form your private promo ecosystem to make them think about it and go for that option.

If they are anyways not interested then they won’t try it.
1963  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 09, 2022, 01:16:45 PM
Have you rolled up your sleeves for the Metaverse Adventure?

I know there are heavy players out there who are wagering huge amount of money everyday at Roobet casino. However, I am really trying hard to get as much entries as I could in this contest.
I have received around 106 Tickets so far and still continuing to manage the game. Its really hard to keep playing with balance going up and down but Im keeping up the motivation anyways.

Though in between 40-50 bucks get swiped away in single click, its just fantastic to be in the ender game.
Just hope that I win this raffle!
Whats your story guys. You having the fun already?  Tongue

1964  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia has attacked nuclear power plant in Ukraine on: March 09, 2022, 11:48:14 AM
Russia might be stupid but not that as to evade the country to destroy nuclear plants, disable it or blow it. Nuclear power is the next big thing for the Russia and it can simply become the power house of Russia. It could be to reuse the palladium from the nuclear core for weaponising it or may be simply to use the electricity.

Whatever might be the use, it’s bad for rest of the world. Obviously stocks and shares are gonna have bumpy ride these days as the war is uncertain and it can destroy many industrial areas with direct/indirect impact.

Crypto however will bounce back pretty fast as people starts to know it’s independence lies there.
1965  Economy / Economics / Re: Master card, Paypal, America express suspending services to Russians on: March 09, 2022, 11:35:33 AM
Well one thing can stop bitcoin from being traded in the Russia. It’s p2p failure when Russian people will start trading person to person because they won’t be having anyone within Russia to do as they all have their fiat options turned off. No cards, wallets and bank restrictions etc oh man they are screwed right there.

Plus if they start p2p overseas then that is also not useful because if major companies are taking such bold steps by blocking them then it can’t be done with other peeps too.

So for example I won’t be helping them in rage of war and won’t accept the p2p trade. Not sure what happens now, they can’t do cryptos as well.
1966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Ladies League Organizes Her First Online Blockchain Event on: March 09, 2022, 10:38:49 AM
That is just lovely. I hope that more and more such acceptance will come forward throughout the world. There are still many countries who are not in the favour of women and work or giving them freedom to get into outer world rather than home. Im just so happy to see such event being hosted somewhere and crypto space is helping them to showcase that "limitless" nature true to the mark.

Crypto space is symbol of freedom anyways. When Mr. Satoshi did invent it, they had thought of free economy, free and limitless exchanges with ownership of an individual.

So let just consider that this even has made more liberations with the women empowerment through this event and more to come.
1967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments that accept Bitcoin for public services on: March 06, 2022, 07:14:04 PM
Amazing. I think one of the influential post I have ever read most recently which involves Government and Positivity!

Otherwise all the time forum use to hate government and how they are not accepting the crypto currencies at all. Well these are the government who are at least accepting the bitcoin for some reason. Everyone of them might have different agenda associated with the bitcoin acceptance but I am pretty sure its good one as they are straight forward in accepting it.

Already 7 in the above list and this will definitely motivate others to join in soon. Thats how bitcoin gonna survive forever.  Smiley
1968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2022, 12:17:51 PM
I Don't support borrowing money from others source and invest into cryptocurrencies because cryptocurrencies market always uncertain in nature and don't realize how the cryptocurrencies market be stabled? So if I get losses in borrow money, then how can pay my borrow money?
This question you should have mainly on your mind on how you would repay those loan money? If you do have other source on which you could able to do so then its normal that you would really get confident on getting

one since you do know that you could able to repay those things not on waiting for your crypto earnings. So its very situational because not all people are the same in speaking with financial conditions.

If you do tend to invest on crypto then never ever anticipate nor conclude into yourself that you could make guaranteed profits.

Yeah, it would be like loan on loan and interest on interest situation. This is very bad move to be honest. Not recommended at all. May be you can borrow money and give it out with higher interest rate to your local people which is being practiced in real world also. However, borrowing to invest in highly volatile asset Like bitcoin? Man that’s shit risk and you would never know what’s bitcoins next move.

Only borrow and invest if you are sure about the returns that you gonna get from the market. Even though assets like oil, gold are safe then also I would think twice. But bitcoin? Never. It’s volatile.
1969  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold is the new gold... or the old gold... or both on: March 06, 2022, 11:00:42 AM
I wonder if bitcoin can still be considered a reserve of value when is following and correlating this much with stocks markets.

If still somebody says that BTC price is not correlated with stocks even after the April episode, I'm really going to virtually slap that guy...

This is a graph from a previous discussion

[...]

SP, NASDAQ  and Bitcoin today:
[...]

The same bouncing, from the start of the day bitcoin is up 2.4 %, S&P 500 1.5%, NASDAQ  3.4% and Dow 0.3%.
I don't know where it got this tight up to the stocks but right now is swinging the same way around, of course, it has better gains than it and it's pretty normal for it but it will take the same hits.
On the bright side, that means being a global currency or asset, it comes with pros and cons.

So does it mean now bitcoin is also nothing more but the stocks and shares that we used to trade in the real world market. I am definitely more into bitcoin these days than I was into buying shares of company or even trying out mutual funds, SIP's. The reason for me was bitcoin's independent nature from the real world. I mean yes its volatile, crazy ups and down but it was something to trade with when you are into swing or day trade. If it starts to follow the patterns of share market, then thats gonna be end of fun ride isnt it?

Over the period, big fortune 500 would be comparable with the bitcoin or other coins for example. So its like brokers will jump in, and institutional investors would be one of the leaders in the market for same thing.

Bitcoin has to be independent. It must be that way so that we can escape the shares and stocks when they are bleeding out. But not the other way around.
1970  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics on: March 06, 2022, 10:36:07 AM
A lot of countries are releasing/ contemplating to release their own digital currencies. EU is contemplating digital euro, Jamaica is thinking of digital Jamaican dollar.. India has already launched digital rupee..
How these currencies will affect the bitcoin/crypto ecosystem?
I think later what distinguishes bitcoin and digital currencies from those countries is a clear supply. they will only adopt blockchain for their transaction system. but I don't think it's completely decentralized like bitcoin, so I don't think this will interfere with the development of bitcoin itself

There is no need to think about it, if they are forming the digital currencies then obviously it will have proper protocol and thus it will be completely controlled currency. The control however would be on the investment, how much being transacted and from to where to would be the prime thing. So definitely it would be just the normal local currency only in the digital format and will be accessed for its integration and usage over the blockchain.

I dont think it will be much of interest to the common man or even to the peeps like us who are playing in the crypto verse. I mean why would I go and publish the available assets in my wallet to these guys? They will wreck my earnings if it does not fit in their criteria. Lolz.
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss City of Lugano to Make Bitcoin Legal Tender on: March 06, 2022, 09:09:12 AM
[...]As for the impact, I would have thought that this will be the piece of news that will propel us to over 50k but, again, that's why I don't daily trade, we're going down 4%

Never mind, bitcoin is more or less impacted by the war news rather than the sparks in green field. As far as war is concerned I am sure Russians and Ukrainians are pulling off the bitcoin market, so there is possibility we are loosing the value on that side. Anyways, its hard to state that but bitcoin has misbehaved multiple times since the war broke out.

Talking about the news, I am not sure why only taxes?

Whats in the taxes that is not in the day today usage of the bitcoin? I mean if they wanna make it legal tender then hell go replenish the whole economic circle with the bitcoin use. Like that of EL Salvador. May be we can have up surge after that news.
1972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin where there's rush on: March 06, 2022, 06:53:00 AM
There are ways to overcome these things. May be a good synch software that can catch up the broadcasted transaction immediately. I am not sure how many of you used Roobet casino, but whenever I press send button from my wallet within 20-30 seconds Roobet picks up the transaction right away. Its like instant deposit to the account.

I'm sure it won't be impossible thing to do in the supermarket store where millions of transactions goes on every month.

Surely, infra can be built for that so no need to be in line for this. Apart from this you can just get crypto currency debit or credit card and workout whole thing.
1973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there interested in a Virtual Visa Debit Card ? | Opinion asked on: March 05, 2022, 05:06:02 PM
Product #2 looks pretty amazing deal for me. No KYC is the thing these days that everyone accepts. When it comes to the crypto cards then it definitely needs to be more anonymous and give added security for the identity. The data integrity issue is gonna be there all the time.

This card is steal deal only for the sake of no KYC step. Moreover prefunding is not bad option. We can also have limits on our spend by using such option and won't just drain ourselves a lot. So this could be better one.
1974  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade cryptocurrencies? on: March 05, 2022, 11:08:40 AM
Honestly my ground zero was my friends when first started with the crypto currencies trading. However, that was really stupid idea. Friends you know?  Grin
They gave me lot of ideas and I followed everything however with the least success. So yep its better to have lessons first before we can even enter into the crypto currencies market trading. The first lesson I got is, market is highly volatile and we can not trust the next move with logics or copy professional traders. That is really noob thing to do. So, highly recommended to go for long term hodling of the crypto and then only make your move. Secondly, you can always have good trades if you are putting lot of time in learning day trading. For this one, you particularly need volatility so that you can quickly buy and sell the assets. So this is one of the my learnings and one could take it as lesson at their own pace and experiments.
1975  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits Russia on: March 05, 2022, 10:47:15 AM
I believed that in the worst case, Russia would intervene in eastern Ukraine and perhaps only expand the occupied territories to create a larger pro-Russian zone - and that this would take several days due to the military strength of the Russian army. Unfortunately, this is no longer a military conflict but an open war aimed at occupying Ukraine, and according to their leader, some other countries will be next in line if they try to join NATO.

The EU depends on Russia, especially for gas - but will have to look for an alternative if it wants to be consistent in the sanctions against it. It is a bit hypocritical that it was announced a few days ago that the amount of gas will even be increased towards the EU, which means that the money is going in the opposite direction - on the one hand, we have sanctions, on the other hand, the EU finances Russian military machinery by buying Russian gas.
That could probably work but Ukraine will definitely mention it as a part of the negotiation that the invaded territories be returned to Ukraine. The best course of action here is to piss off the Russian bear by having all the countries mobilize their military, we are a hopeless species so why not go all out and insure a mutually assured destruction. Regarding the oil, can't the whole Europe just switch to Middle East? I'm assuming that they don't want to because it's going to make the oil much more expensive.

You wish that would have been so easy. Well as far as news are concerned I see that NATO is abandoning the Jelensky's SOS call. They even did not agree for the restriction of Ukrainian Air Space and neither any of them are supplying the arms and weapons as of this time. They did show some hope at the initial point however, its gone to the sink now and no one is stepping further.

They know very well if they try anything stupid in hurry then European countries would be hit as well. Russia has become madhouse now and they are not thinking straight.

The more the financial burden will increase the higher they will go rogue and east or south they gonna start to drop the bomb.

So I am not surprised by the USDT gaining inflation. This was supposed to happen in war circle.

1976  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: March 05, 2022, 09:37:08 AM
If Africa do have a lot of oil reserves then it'll probably come from them. There were rumours of building a rail way under the sea between Gibraltar and Morocco a while ago, pipes for carrying gas would be easier to place and if the EU are serious on sanctioning Russia then it'd probably be worthwhile to sponsor those countries and provide them infrastructure.

There might also be attempts to increase the number of rigs there are for companies like bp and Shell to be able to extract more oil (the UK government has a habit of nationalising/buying things when the private sector makes them too expensive too which might be another thing that happens).

That is so screwed. So now world will be fighting for the gas supply hnn? And we did not think a bit before pressing the button against Russia. Lolz. Well, I am pretty sure the whole thing is just little part of big picture. NATO and USA might have thought something. They will surely choose alternate like Africa, although its stated that African project was stopped because of Putin's word. Well, if he can bribe then surely USA and NATO can go beyond this to work the math. Imagine stopping the gas supply will halt the major operations throughout the world and it would be worst decision not to put-forth exact agenda for the African sources.

Coal, Idk, the requirement of the world has increased a lot. We not only talking about energy product but also fuel for the cars, ships, airlines and much more. Without proper sources whole nations can collapse.
1977  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 04, 2022, 06:23:13 PM
That's really funny. Just double verify the news man, Russia is already cut off from the SWIFT, there are long waits for the Russians to get cash money from machines and banks. They have their currency devalued in the international market and most importantly they are loosing money like hell everyday on their war acts.

Russia is now segregated badly as ground X continent. They gonna suffer. Many businesses will pull back from their land and they will see economic downturn soon.

After war, they will be bankrupt continent with no man's land.
1978  Economy / Economics / Re: More destruction of Ukraine territory and economy going on on: March 04, 2022, 05:43:17 PM
From the history it is well known, if you going on a war then you destroy enemies economic sources, cut off the power houses and food, water etc. That's what happening here. The movement of Russian troops is slower because Ukraine is also fighting back at an alarming rate. However with the economic outburst Ukraine is way behind.

But who knows the dices can turn to six for Ukraine soon. Considering the fact that NATO is funding Ukraine with billions of dollars and also world has cut off Russia from SWIFT. So anything can go south in Economic situation.
1979  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: March 04, 2022, 11:32:03 AM
Okay guys gentle reminder for the weekend Tournament. If you guys have not registered yet then just hop in and start the same. You can find the password and other details on their official Games and Round thread. With the time less peeps are interested and there could be million reasons for the same. However, the game runs for 1 hour to 2 hour and there is no way we dont have that much time on the weekends. So I motivate everyone to get into the game.

The grand finale is just 3 weeks away including the upcoming one. If you even play the games, you can earn handsome money if landed in top 3. Initially I also missed the tournament but Im all in now.

I have to say that Betnomi is legit and have fast withdrawals but i got scammed with the cards bet and they know their own rule is wrong and thats something i wont forget

I think you should contact the betnomi support staff directly from the chat window or support ticket from your account. Nothing is clear from your statement here.
1980  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: March 03, 2022, 07:53:29 PM
Two weeks ago I learned that the oil that was dispatched across my country Nigeria is mixed, and since some of the petrol stations have stopped selling, so due to this the available ones are filled up. Before now a liter is 162Naira, it increased to 165 Naira and at present, some filling station sells at 250 Naira and even with the surge in the price you will wait for nothing less than 2 hours if you are lucky to get fuel early but we still have some which sell at 162 Naira but be ready to spend the whole day at the filling station because of the queue. Some people get to the filling station as early as 6 am just to avoid the queue.

God save you guys! The under developing countries are worst hit as always. I mean even the developed countries and developing one are having issues with the petrol and diesele price hike issues and this is all because of the crude oil getting pitty heavy to extract and also distribute. The rumours are now spreading that with the Russia and Ukraine war, things gonna get pretty heated up across the globe. As a result of war, they will need fuel, inflation will rise and thus ultimately the cost will be seen rising for the common man like you and me. Since we not talking about county, or country, we talking about whole continent getting separated out from the national economy. So yup, whether its fuel or other sources, everything is going to be diamond costly!  Roll Eyes
