2361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders always learn to leave when the ovation is loudest on: October 29, 2021, 12:58:07 PM
Oh my God, this is just best explanation for my current situation too. I was so confused until today that whether bitcoin is going to burst the next upward signal or not and made me think whether to sell and book the profits or wait for even more. Considering this is my greed it can end up pretty badly and I think it's really time I should be on the way to sell my coins.

Your expression of comedian with the trader is pretty similar and understandable to me. Makes my mind more clearer tbh. I think its better to understand the proper exit strategy in this market.

On top of this, one should always think of, how much applause we want? Or whether we are capable enough to face the criticism of down turn!
2362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The president of El Salvador just bout 420 BTC! on: October 29, 2021, 04:15:01 AM
Though it is admirable to see a dictator making efforts to put his country on a modern fortier, then also if I were citizen of this country I would have been terrified by this news. I would have been happy before, but this guy is buying many times now and not to forget this is nations money collected from the taxes and needs to be used for the funding of national development. I am not sure how daring they are to put it all in the bitcoin itself.

What if someone sees this as an opportunity and sell their btc and we see sharp fall in the prices? This would be terrifying tbh, you will loose the country's development fund and salaries of government employees. Not sure how they are playing this game.
2363  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins economic growth is enormous in India | Amazing Future ahead on: October 28, 2021, 03:26:50 PM
Good discussion until now.
Stompix must be very interested in economics subject, the way they are involved with this.  Grin

Well I envy the way everyone is studying this topic and it is giving some good reviews too. I think the survey that is done by finder is not much promising.

Though we got over this before there is another article published by The Hindu which mentions the number of account holders are pretty much in millions only. But let’s forget about it for now until we get some good strong sources for the same.

It would be amazing if someone can really get us authentic source on the stats.

2364  Economy / Economics / Re: $1 Billion Science Fund to Use Blockchain Projects to Extend Human Lifespan on: October 28, 2021, 02:06:52 PM
Well the fact that ICH and WHO has made this clear there should not be any research associated with DNA modification or any modification to biological matter which can cause threat to human species makes me think whether this will continue until the end or not.

I know the race to live for longer years (or forever) has been the topic of discussion in the scientific community. I have myself imagined living forever so yeah definitely I would vote up for this.

With technological advancement it’s actually possible.

Read one article in my biotech studies regarding Tortoise genome. They are the living things with life span of more than 3-5 hundred years. The genome sequencing is already established. However it would be tricky to imply the Histone proteins responsible for the increased lifespan into the human genome.

Either you will get teratogenic effects or you succeed.

At the end of we are talking about the Token fundraiser then this project needs to show us all the research approvals.
2365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not Bitcoin or Ethereum, it's a good cryptocurrency for the short term on: October 28, 2021, 11:58:15 AM
Shib Inu: Best way to loose your bank balance, home, car, and then finally your wife too. Lolz.

Shiba is just another coin with temporary hype. Yes, it is getting pumped pretty nicely however thats not how it works in the crypto world for the coins which are serious. Shiba Inu emits in trillions numbers man, even Elon would not dare to put his wealth in this coin because it's dangerous ratio to your investment and profits that you get.

I completely agree that there is high chance it will reach may be 10 cents in near future, but it will drain your balance so many times in between because it won't reach that high immediately.

Launching new products doe not guarantee the price hike. It needs to be invested in the first place.
2366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 28, 2021, 04:21:47 AM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

Playing DOGE with strategies and plenty of money can make you rich quickly.

Somehow DOGE has repeating pattern, could be small change but with the big effect on trading performance.

For example.
DOGE is having good amount of volume everyday. I have observed that DOGE at least go up by 3-4 cents and come down few cents below. This cycle keeps repeating itself over time. Just imagine if you holding 1000 DOGE then you are moving your assets up by 100-200 bucks easily. All you need to do is be patient, get DOGE for the day trading. High volume and less margin could be miracle with this asset.

I would have not agreed to this strategy if this pattern wasn't repeating one, but it seems DOGE is getting played everyday. For sure not a joke coin anymore.
2367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For those who think that they caught the moment when it's late to buy on: October 27, 2021, 03:55:30 PM
Futures trading is amazing instrument however its the most risky type of trading. Yes it can give you enormous amount of cashback but it can take all of it once the timelines has passed and your prediction turns out to be wrong. Most of the times its the second one because futures in crypto market is almost next to unpredictable With the amount of volatility and liquidation it has, you are literally giving away your money to the profit earner in that window. Dont push yourself towards the greed if you did not buy in time. Moreover, its never late in the crypto, as you can see from the decades of data. BTC is rising ever since. So no need to be on FOMO train.
2368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best thing you bought with Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2021, 06:37:54 AM
Those gold-colored metal bitcoin coins on Purse.io. Why? Because I was really intoxicated one Saturday night and for some reason decided to buy a physical bitcoin because why the heck not. It was something like $12 each so no biggie, but bitcoin at that time was like $1k so..

Lolz. Thats really funny. I have seen this and experienced many times with myself. We do annoying things when we are intoxicated like hell. I am pretty sure you might have been surprised after you received them had reaction what the heck is this. Lolz.  Grin Good one though.

I dont remember myself buying anything physical as of now. However in my case I have sold my Pencil Artworks in bitcoin payments many times. So yeah there are peeps who use bitcoin to buy stuff around.

Even roobet bought my artwork 2-3 times this year, also got generous fees for the delivery charges and stuff. So these kinda transactions happening everywhere.  Smiley
2369  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins economic growth is enormous in India | Amazing Future ahead on: October 27, 2021, 04:19:04 AM

@stompix

Here are some great results from the Finder.
They carried out surveys throughout 27 countries with 47k peeps. The methodology used is explained in the report. The report states % involvement of the crypto currency user; whether it is bitcoin or other top most coins.

According to the source, different countries have been ranked as per shown in the following image.

Amongst all, India stands at 3rd number, with 30% adopters throughout the nation. From this, 16% contributes to the Bitcoin holder.
If considered by age group, then also India lists in the top column.
Assuming the youngsters are more involved this will pass on to more college students, part time workers very quickly and more peeps could on board the crypto.

There is amazing report which you can read here: Crypto Currency Adoption Rates
*Above images also taken from this report itself.

With the given sample set at least India stands a chance in the top most holder. The 30% of Indian population is definitely very high index. Idk looks to me logical to think India could be one of the largest holder of crypto.

Let us hope that most of the facts are at least close to what the article says. Just passing the positive vibes!
2371  Economy / Economics / Bitcoins economic growth is enormous in India | Amazing Future ahead on: October 26, 2021, 03:43:46 PM
There is an amazing article that was recently published by news network - The Hindu. They have explained some good points on how bitcoin is taking off in Indian economy and in the hearts of Indian peeps.

The very first thing the price that’s increasing all the time. Every year we have seen huge up surge in the bitcoin prices.

However, there is always little higher price difference in USD and INR. Even I have observed that for all the coins including bitcoin the price is little higher as compared to USD-INR-Fiat pair.

Second largest point is regulatory stuff.

Until 2019-2020, RBI which is Reserve Bank of India had ban all the crypto related transactions. This led to stiff drop in crypto users for temporary period since mega exchange like Zebpay, WazirX and others started facing issues with banking partners.

However, soon in the 2021 bill Supreme Court of India passed the judgement that RBI should not be banning such transactions which can contribute to the Indian economics.

Well well well, when it’s regulations no one can go against it. When highest court is from your side then it’s just most amusing thing for India.

Good Facts from Articles:

1) There are 100 million plus bitcoin holders in the India.
2) India is now of the largest bitcoin holder by its number of users and value.
3) India is witnessing largest growing exchangers and wallets. Viz., WazirX, CoinSwitch Kuber, CoinDCX, Zebpay and BuyUCoin.
4) CoinDCX alone has crossed $1 billion milestone.
5) Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bacchan, Salman Khan are set to create NFT based digital autographs to sell and they will be the first one to do.

And many more amazing facts about India and it’s growing relationship with the crypto currencies.

I believe that suddenly India will be one of the top 2nd or 3rd country to trade, mine, exchange the crypto currencies and specifically Bitcoin.

The whole article here:- Explained | Why many investors rallying behind bitcoins?
2372  Economy / Economics / Re: eNaira launched in Nigeria as a digital currency on: October 26, 2021, 12:07:13 PM
I have like very very big confusion about the whole thing these countries are doing now and then. Many countries are thinking of and some of them like China, Russia, and now Nigeria are trying to create their own digital currency.

The big question is why now? What changed suddenly which is making them do these acts?
I can only think of one reason and that’s peeps going from Fiat system to crypto system because they love the freedom that the crypto is giving. Okay, whatever that reason is that was out of many facts and pros over the traditional Fiat system.

They don’t understand peeps won’t switch to national digital coins because at the end they are nothing but regulated coins and more or less they are Fiat only.

Anyways, congrats to Nigeria upon stepping forward for this.
2373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TV Commercials & How they attracting more clients in crypto industry. on: October 26, 2021, 07:52:41 AM
its not going to make every viewer suddenly want bitcoin.

many businesses of many industries find that their average customer acquisition costs can be $40 whilst spending $40 to reach 15,000 viewers

basically for every 15,000 viewers they may acquire 1 customer.
so on that bases. rounding the 13mill to 15mill for easy viewer maths. equals only 1000 customers deciding to use the wallet app advertised

so with bitcoin having now millions of people.. thats not even a 0.1% uptick in new bitcoin users.

Oops.

Then it means its just way to introduce them to the term bitcoin. They may or may not even get involved with the crypto directly. I am not sure how they take the statistics from the TV industry on how many users viewed but soon will be looking into how much growth that particular ad gave to coin switch. If they somehow publish this data then we can know for sure how much impact TV commercials has on the bitcoin or crypto as whole.

But I think there is no solid study on the math that you did right? Like its too less ratio of 0.1% getting turned into crypto users from that ad views. Hell low!  Shocked
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / TV Commercials & How they attracting more clients in crypto industry. on: October 26, 2021, 05:47:45 AM
We live in the era where digital platform plays amazing role in attracting your clients.
Well, things are changing at alarming rate in the country like India. Recently we had biggest game of T20 World Cup 2021, Ind vs Pak, considering their cricket battle is most popular it had enormous amount of viewers that day.

In this match the most interesting fact was the commercial advertisement that was getting flashed in between every over was about the Crypto Wallets and exchangers.

One of such companies which hosted the ads was CoinSwitch Kuber.  Reference

I am wondering how this helping the crypto space since, with millions of peeps watching this ad some of them must have searched for it, started using after it and what not.
Even in the Indian New Channels crypto market is discussed many times, they do show the ads too.

Since there is no ban on such ads yet, I believe Indian Government is not on the strict side yet.
Does your country has such commercials, what do you think how it is helping us?

Guess how many users watched this match (thus the crypto coin advertisement)

As per one article, online streaming partner HotStar alone recorded 13 millions viewers.  Reference
One of the former cricketer Shane Warne projected that, there will be at least 1 billion viewers for this match. Reference

How do you see they impact the viewer?
2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is thinking about unbanning bitcoin mining after price rise on: October 26, 2021, 03:12:20 AM
[...]
According to CoinTelegraph, China’s National Development and Reform Commission (CNDRM) is now seeking public opinion on the inclusion of crypto mining in its list of “phased-out” industries, after seeing that the ban helped the U.S. to become the world’s dominant crypto mining nation.

Read in full https://digesttime.com/2021/10/24/china-is-thinking-about-unbanning-bitcoin-and-started-a-new-research/

"...is now seeking public opinion", what the hell China. Are you joking or are you a joke yourself? Grin
I gotta say they have put 14 year old on the national development body and he is not able to make the mind on how to develop the nation!

Whatever this CNDRM is, they should have been clever enough to take this opinion before they banned the crypto industry from their nation. Not after the damage has been done dude. Imagine how much crypto money chinese lost already and how they might have sold off their hardware, leased contracts might have been forfeited, employment gone and what not.

This is a serious joke now, that they are asking the same peeps, whether to bring back the crypto or not. I mean who is going to believe on them now?
2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help sent usdt to smart contract instead of wallet on: October 24, 2021, 06:19:41 PM
The tokens have likely lost forever.

Most of the smart contracts don't have a function for sending tokens.
Even if the smart contract address you sent the tokens to has such a function, due to security issues, it's very very unlikely that the owner sends back the tokens to you.

That’s really bad one. These kinda matter happens all the time in the crypto space and it’s always good to learn from others. It’s not bad thing really because what’s done is done forever in the crypto space which is always irreversible.

Moreover, the owner of the project always mentions in pretty bold heading that you should not be sending the coins to contract address or you will loose it.

So it’s simple, follow the instructions!!
2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some entrepreneurs harvesting biometric data for free crypto on: October 24, 2021, 11:12:24 AM
Could be serious matter. More than billion peeps work in the sector where you can find different biometric punches are applied. In my industry itself we have options for the finger scanner or face scanner. Imagine the whol face being scanned and the data is transmitted to server with all the personal information right away.

For an AI based company this data could be gold mine. They could end up studying our expressions on daily basis, use it study behavioural and periodic changes in the human expressions. Studies like, how the environment affects the body over the period and what not.

Obviously beyond this, they could have access to HD scans of our fingerprints and iris.

This is critical information for the countries where Government ID's are linked.

For example, In India, Aadhaar Card is official Govt. ID which has users information like: Name, Address, Phone Number, PAN Card linked which can let you know all the financial status of user and finally all this linked to the "Finger scans (All fingers), Both eyes and whole face photo".

From the biometric systems if someone got this info then can use it to activate and deactivate different operations. Even if you want to purchase a mobile number then you need to submit your Aadhaar Card along with the Finger print scan. Or if you wanna authorize some steps in banks then you need to do the same.

Now a days that should be counted as sensitive information.

In the future, that's going to be CRITICAL.
2378  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalising would give a chance to Latin America on: October 24, 2021, 10:19:26 AM
If you have seen the breaking bad then you will come to know the truth about whole story. I mean though just a series then also it is perfect replica of real life drug peddlers and manufacturers who are running these illegal businesses under their white collar business. There is billion dollar industry which runs on the drugs and this actually converts the white money into black money over the period of time. I mean whenever the money is used in millions of dollars to buy the drugs its obvious that this would be left out as cash form and also would be hidden from government by not paying the taxes on it.

Truly, if it gets converted into the ethical way of dealing it, then industry would boom like crazy.

However, the question still remains: How would you stop the aftermath that will occur after heavy drug consumption and increased diseases and disorders due to them.

Over the years it can also cause genetic disorders which would be irreversible. So ethical or not, comes later, first think about the after math at the cost of recovering taxes.
2379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we coming to the 5th wave? on: October 24, 2021, 09:14:33 AM
About 10 years ago I took an interest in EW. Bought ebooks, courses, autobots, looked at previous back testing and see how reliable EW was and my conclusion is this.

EW works great in hindsight however if you want to put it into practice then it’s another story. The issue is that most of the time you think you are in one wave but you are really in another, you won’t know this until it’s too late. Maybe it works for some but for me I found it to be very unreliable indicator.

Good to know that EW does not work all the time.  Grin

The intensity with which bitcoin and other markets are moving in the bullish trend I believe we shall ignore the above mentioned theory. I mean I did not even know about this theory until I read your post and done some googling about it. Moreover, I was under the impression that I am going to pump my wallet with more coins once bitcoin drops a little more than the current rates so that I could just grab some quick profits in few weeks. Lolz, after your post you made me little nervous. However, I do not believe this is true if you look after the fundamental side of the bitcoin. Lot of good news in the market with interest in millionaires around the globe.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 24, 2021, 08:18:08 AM
Come on, they are not doing it. It's just another flag of binance over their website. They are doing it with multiple coins all the time. They keep coming with such ideas and promotions with different different coins all the time. Moreover, I actually invested in SHIB INU when I saw their contest banner few months ago. So it is not the first time they have done this. Also there is nothing special about the SHIB INU, so dont get any special ideas out of this. It's just the way binance promote different contest now and then to attract more and more clients to trade those coins and ultimately use binance. For example, this competition can lead to heavy traffic on the exchanger, driving more volume etc.
