2261  Other / Off-topic / Re: Things of 2022. on: November 29, 2021, 03:27:37 PM
New goals, new opportunitites awaits in the 2022. As a matter of fact there are many companies who will set new goals for the upcoming years and lets just hope that crypto projects will boom in next year. Hopefully there will be great developments in top coins such ETH, ADA, XRP etc who are tangled up with either high fees, mining issues, court issues and much more. Hope that they will come out of that, will have new developments up front and would let us see ATH in terms of their value.

I just hope that Bitcoin as a king will get more adoptions world wide and let us cross the borders with more confidence with borderless payment system.

Most importantly bitcoin will complete its 13 years of journey with glorious past until now. Hope so whales will look after 130K price for the bitcoin as a surprise.  Tongue
2262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you spoken to Satoshi ? on: November 29, 2021, 02:17:48 PM
I’m just kind of curious how many people around here have been around long enough to have spoken to Satoshi, and what your experience was like.

If we take for example this thread from 2010 - Proof-of-work difficulty increasing ,only 4-5 people who then discussed with Satoshi are active today or were active this year.

I am just fascinated about the whole thing. It’s beyond amazing Satoshi is still anonymous, so it makes me wonder what he was like when speaking with them. I’m guessing not too many people here were around for those days. This is one thing I’ve always wanted to hear Theymos talk about. Imagine having helped Satoshi build bitcoin, having private messages etc…what an experience!

It would have been a special experience for sure, but Satoshi was just a man, not some supernatural being with special powers. If Satoshi is still alive and reading this forum, I think he is amazed that people are still so obsessed with him, even more than with Bitcoin sometimes.

Nice example. I was reading through the posts to see if someone has referenced it way back to the 2010's threads. It makes whole lot of sense since at the time only way to interact was through this forum. I am not sure whats the history here about "how the take-over took placed for the forum", but that might have been one of the instances when Satoshi had to speak with many qualified candidates so that they can run this ahead. Theymos obviously is one of those who might have been pretty close to them. Idk, may be staff members might have great deal of idea.

Who knows they might be partying every weekend with Satoshi and discussing how peeps are crazy about him and how they go nuts about him. Lolz.

2263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Strategies changes with time on: November 28, 2021, 05:45:36 PM
Oh yeah and when it is crypto space then it’s definitely shifting at the light speed. Idk, whenever you are working on a strategy then eventually you will find that there is big gap between your TA and the prediction that actually came out after that timeline. Lolz. Many times we have lost the bet over how bitcoin will perform in the coming season. Since couple of years there is great shift in how bear and bulls pop in which might be because crypto investors, institutional investors as well as billionaires are taking more interest in this space. So the manipulation is at its peak. May be this and many other reason are always there which keeps changing the market at alarming rates.
2264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saw my 1st 'hybrid' Bitcoin ATM this morning. on: November 28, 2021, 02:42:01 PM
Crazy hnn! While reading your experience I was like imagining the whole picture in front of me, like I was there itself. It’s so cool to have these machines around giving that very feeling of bitcoin existence around the globe. I mean it’s like the portal to feel the bitcoin you know?

Because everyday I come to forum or read an article somewhere I’m just like it’s usual day with bitcoin in all virtual or text format, no way to feel it. But when you physically visit the store, make actions like pressing few buttons, printing slips, exchanging money, yeah that alerts your senses we are having something real here.

Just wish that bitcoin becomes the normal thing of everyday life forever. Don’t wanna miss it.
2265  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins economic growth is enormous in India | Amazing Future ahead on: November 28, 2021, 12:47:21 PM
Many of them here started to think that the OP is incorrect after the incidence that happened last week in India. The bill that is generated is not clear at all. Moreover please note that it’s merely draft and there are hundreds of possibilities out there where this bill will come out as positive wave!!

There is bullet point in the bill by the way which states crypto which are completely private will be banned from trading however others won’t. As we all know bitcoin is not private currency it won’t have any major impact.

Just have patience and surely India will boom once the bill is out.
2266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bitcoin symbol going to be added to the keyboard? on: November 28, 2021, 11:19:12 AM
Insert Bitcoin Sign Shortcuts

Windows Shortcut - Alt + 8383
Word Shortcut - 20BF + Alt + X
Mac Shortcut - Option + 20BF

Link - Webnots

≠≠≠≠≠≠™º∫ƒ

Ae man whats this. It does not work for the mac. May be it does not support in the forum layout. Thats the gibberish thing that got typed after using your shortcuts.

Well, I don't think we really need any key on the board to type the bitcoin symbol because its known to everyone by its work, nature, and the way it is screaming out over the trading market.

The dominance is crazy one and I really do not think a simple shortcut would make lot of difference. Adoption is when peeps will by themselves start using it from phone to phone payment, merchandise processing, online shopping etc. Thats the adoption. Not just a little button. Lolz.

I still cant type it using those shortcut:
™∫ƒº

2267  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptocurrency trading. No risk. on: November 28, 2021, 09:08:56 AM
Funny. Because last time I checked the buy and sell process was the same as it was a year ago:- Tough!
The market is volatile, it can go negative at any given time when you buy some coins or it may go up and tangle you in the greed of profits and before you can checkout the market crashes.

Oh yeah this is some real shit that Keeps happening all the time in crypto market and it’s not advisable to join the public groups who pump and dump the market willingly. It’s even more harmful than individual trading. It’s better to go solo once you acquire good intel on the project, or the coin in which you are investing.
2268  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: November 28, 2021, 05:22:29 AM
Simple rule is, While you are making profits, it means someone has made a loss. It's how markets are. Not everybody is going to make profits. The smartest win while the dumb ones lose.

For example the current bull run favours the smart ones who bought during the market. The dumb ones who are buying now due to FOMO might make losses should the market reverse for long periods of time.

Well, its tricky market I would say. Because many of them are actually thinking about this as excellent opportunity to buy whether it is FOMO or whether it is just another correction from those thousands which already happened. Moreover it even does not matter if it is because of some big billionaire playboy is dumping while he sniffs the cocaine from the table.

So obviously its not safe, it's just the way it is. Since the market was initiated a decade ago peeps are talking about this ponzi schemes all the time. First bitcoin was also declared as the Ponzi scheme and everyone is looting the buyers in first place.

Turns out that it was not ponzi as the whole world wants bitcoin and wanna bag as much as they could in short period of time.

Yup its not safe, but it works; you just need to be careful where you donate your money.  Wink
2269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: November 28, 2021, 03:09:31 AM
Correct. A playground of investments and fun way to race against each other’s to see who makes the most money out there. It’s really sad to see this happening in the market like crypto currency’s which were supposed to be excellent hallmark for the Payment System around the globe. Bunch of idiots now making their safe heaven to earn extra by creating the tokens, publishing them over social networks and showing literal hopes other investors.

The sad part is peeps around the crypto space are also enjoying this kinda investment because they just wanna make the quick bucks. So market is always manipulated, those who got the profits are actually the one who know the projects from beginning and make their way towards quick wealth. Such a scam-grim-reality.
2270  Economy / Economics / Re: 2.5 million US truckers say they'll quit over vaccine mandate on: November 27, 2021, 07:21:48 PM
Though Elons example was little slick here I think it’s serious that it will eat our jobs of 2.5 million workers. I think this is very very sad thing to happen because imagine 2.5 million families getting fed on that job, their dreams, their education and what not. This will cause series of chain reaction and making it difficult for the supply chain as well. We do not know the application of auto trucks yet and we always need human touch for any job to do it perfectly. Tuckers are the important part of logistic industry and they should never be replaced or vacated on any terms tbh. Dam, this is such bad news just because they are against the vaccines.

Yes I get it, vaccines are the needful in the current worst times but they need to be educated and then must be shown with right direction.
2271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekly FLIP on: November 27, 2021, 06:29:54 PM
It’s very confusing in the crypto many times to trade or select a proper portfolio. Whether it is short term or whether it is long term in anyways you have to take a few breath and admit yourself that proper selection is the step towards perfect trade.

You are true that there are many coins every day or every week which will go off the chart but let’s not forget that sometime they are also manipulated by group of whales to attract the new investors.

I wouldn’t call it flip straight away but it’s more or less based on developments, intentional pumps, or may be just lucky flip. That’s why everyone suggest it’s better to invest in the coins which are usual one and way developed.
2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Is the bubble about to burst?" on: November 27, 2021, 11:06:40 AM
This article is an example of how system is disrupted when it is perfect and is about to give you freedom. Bitcoin is that bubble which is so big that the whole universe is sitting inside it and no one would ever care if it exists or it is going to burst because its just making the progression in right direction. I have thought this through many times, year by year bitcoin is anyways going upwards as the emission keeps going on and on. With the 2024 we will have next bitcoin halving cycle, before that we will see massive dump in the bitcoin to overcome the miners rewards, profits, so that they can earn some handsome fortune after the halving is complete and reward is reduced.
Obviously today there are many rivals that are taking birth who will keep blaming the system whenever bitcoin literally falls in price. Thats the idiotic expression of these guys, they are the kind who will say yes I like the bitcoin when its going up and they will hate it when its dumping. Lolz.
2273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Storage related alt coins? on: November 27, 2021, 04:26:10 AM
Not aware of these storage-related altcoins but in a quick view, are they really a big deal? Dropbox, Google Drive, Mega, Asus are already dominating the cloud-storage. What's the advantage and benefits that these coins will bring in terms of cloud storage?

I will follow this thread for more references.

First I also had same impression as you did however if we think a bit more then we are in crypto which means these projects might be rewarding their users in terms of tokenised payment, by spending these tokens fir their services and products. Mostly these are the kinds of ways where we spend them and use it. That’s why it’s preferred over Google, Amazon etc. Plus you get sort of anonymous structure to which may not be 100% anonymous but could be one step more than Google at least. 😂

I see no difference in storage coins or coin which are used for Exchangers. I mean we have share market then why use crypto exchanges? So there you go same story for the storage coins or any other utility project out there.
2274  Economy / Economics / Re: Prospective retailer on: November 26, 2021, 12:48:27 PM
I think that is more or less broker kinda thing and peeps are already doing that since long time now. If I’m not mistaken you let theory then this is definitely the old business which is also followed in the real world with share market. Moreover some countries also consider the exchangers as their retailer itself. So that could be little misleading in their territory.

If you create another door to the existing exchanger then that will just cost the user more than what they are paying for direct purchases and sells over the exchanger itself. With the exchangers becoming available globally and establishing their offices all over the world it does not seem that they need retailers anymore. But surely there are many opportunities in the crypto world for different ways and sources of earnings.
2275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Target Price Methodology on: November 26, 2021, 11:04:36 AM
Honestly I have seen different story on the forum. Peeps here actually never tell to set the target price and dont advice them to hodl until they reach that particular prices. I think it's dangerous to do that because one can get stuck forever in the bear and bull loop if the price was too high at which they bought and if the coins are not doing pretty good in the bullish trend.

Most often users are seen giving advice to do the technical and fundamental analysis and based on that enter the market and make the exit strategy. Setting target prices is good thing as we know when to stop, but there should be a limit at which we set it. Investors has seen going crazy about the profit booking and instead they have ended up with loses than profits because they were too greedy.

Just enter the market at bear, make your mind clear that you have to reach your BEP, get few % in profits and exit it before your mind gets corrupted with greediness. Thats all mate.
2276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO..India is NOT Banning Bitcoin on: November 25, 2021, 01:40:33 PM
I wish everyone should understand by now there is no such thing as banning the crypto because you can anyways buy it any other means such transferring funds to your overseas friends and families or simply by means of using local P2P programs.

This was the whole point in making the blockchain and running the bitcoin train on that irreversible track. So what if Indian government banned the crypto? You can still buy and sell it by the above methods. Are we really under the impression that a Chinese don’t trade crypto today ? Lolz, let’s get over it they are the biggest soul takers in this field.

It’s good to understand from the OP article that it’s anyways not banned though it does not matter.  Smiley
2277  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think does this Cities have that we dont? on: November 25, 2021, 12:09:15 PM
I see most of the countries listed here are small, both demographic way and by population except the China country. The benefit of being small has got big relationship with the countries development and also how they spend the money on innovations. The fact that they have less population and more industrial revolution bring more money to the country and less expenses for government too for developing the nation. This very much burden increase the chances of adopting automising of country at low budget or they just have so much money to adopt the tech that it feels like cheap for them.

Now for country like India where there is huge population and big demography to develop its very hard one to do. Before you could even fulfill the basic need of one population there arises another demand from other activists ans what not. This has led to under developed systems, bad educations out reach and ultimately less adoption of tech stuf. This is big topic to discuss and I think I have just spoken drop from the ocean as to why some of them are so adaptive for tech and some of them are not.
2278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take stock or hodl ? on: November 25, 2021, 10:49:40 AM
So with the current peak on Bitcon, Ethereum (and nearly all of my alt coins) is it wise to:

1) Take out the profit to either bank or reinvest when there is another dip
2) HODL in the hope that it keeps rising and rising

Responding again since the market is dipping now. I hope you have already booked the profit and did not wait for the answer from us whether to sell or keeping holding. The selling period was over couple of days ago and its not amazing chance to invest your principle amount + your profits. I think you will have more bitcoins than before which you should be focused on so that you can get good break even point next time the bitcoin starts pumping up wards. It seems good chance if you have not already booked the profits. Still you can invest your money into bitcoin at todays rates and this will pull your BEP to lesser value as compared to what you had earlier. Always remember that you should be more focused on less losses rather than more profits. So first step is to reach to the BEP, then book the profits which you think are enough for you. Dont be greedy above that point or else nothing is gonna come in your bags.  Wink
2279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of SHIBA Inu, is this the end of the Road? on: November 25, 2021, 10:07:12 AM
This is called as profit booking by whales. Obviously SHIBA had its good time few weeks back when it jumped way hard than it could actually. This led more investors to invest their money into Shiba because it was rising and given everyone the missing train feeling. Out of no where big exchangers like Binance, WazirX and gecko started to host the SHIBA trading challenge worth 15 million USD which was crazy one by the way and lured more peeps into the project. The power of all these steps literally put Shiba to ATH. Now that the market as whole is at down turn including the King btc, everyone is trying to book profits and get away from it. It may not be the end of road, it’s just little pause for buying, and more focus on selling.

Wow, peeps here talking about 100 and 250 spins in one go. Might have awaited for very long to accumulate that much spins in one go. It must be fun to see them rolling and getting adrenaline rush to see if we hit the jackpot tickets or Lamborghini. That’s just way exciting to even think. Well I am also on the verge of accumulating more and more spins. My current level gives benefits of 6 spins everyday. And also try to spin the free mail version too without forgetting. With little luck I have managed 3200 rps but it seems the luck is diminishing these days.  Tongue
I can’t really accumulate more than 50 though because I can’t control myself and go spin it anyways. Lolz. Good luck to all of us.
