1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dr Bitcoin - The Man Who Wasn't Satoshi Nakamoto - Podcast on: June 08, 2022, 03:12:55 PM
Interesting, there is podcast for whole Craig story and I’m pretty sure it’s all about hatred and fun.  Tongue
Though we already know Craig is whole lie, having these podcasted is perfect way to let everyone understand what’s his story. There are new gen z peeps who doesn’t understand the whole thing at first and start believing what’s shown to them in first impression.

These podcast can help them a lot to learn about this fake guy and hope so it gets publicised a lot. Thanks for sharing.
1682  Economy / Economics / Re: Block Report: Bitcoin: Knowledge and Perceptions on: June 07, 2022, 10:53:45 AM
Seriously mate? 51% do not know anything about crypto currency? That got my attention. In the world where bitcoin or bitcoin related stuff is always in talks, whether it’s our friends, schools and colleges, news, share market world the bitcoin word occurs everywhere these days.

Who are these peeps who does not know anything about bitcoin at all. I’m really surprised about this. Or does the peeps who fall in 51% are all from the worlds those corner where digitalisation is still unattended or awareness is still far from Internet. Definitely interesting topic to discuss further.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, you put your money in your luna if it gets forked? on: June 07, 2022, 10:23:59 AM
So the recovery plan is to make another dumb coin when the whole world witnessed it failing it to zero in the first place. Do you really think Whatever that guy says now and do you think everyone will ever believe in it? Whether it’s fork or whether he is giving away free dollars, LUNA is done forever. There is no coming back for it because that’s the impression it had made in the first place. Moreover reading through the thread itself gives clear idea on how it’s not trustable any further.
1684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: June 05, 2022, 07:10:45 PM
This is why self awareness is biggest life saver when we work on trading strategies. In addition to this crypto market is way different than shared and stocks that we experience in real world. The later is based on various factors which can be sensed or read and understood somewhere while crypto market stays completely anonymous and has lot of surprises on the way. Depending on someone else’s prediction could be risky and you don’t know what method and factors they considered. They could be wrong they could be right.
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 05, 2022, 02:54:03 PM
I feel nothing these days. It’s the new normal, whenever bitcoin is going down trend I would just keep doing what I am doing in the ordinary day. It’s pointless thinking about it’s downtrend and getting suffered with your work. Right now I just keep putting few bucks now and then into it as this is good opportunity for me to buy. So coming down to the emotions I’m happy that it is in Down trend, it’s new opportunity and it’s upto us whether to grab it or be fearful about it. As long as I’m not selling I know very well I’m not loosing anything. Smiley
1686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: June 05, 2022, 02:28:56 PM
Unfortunately, mistakes in trading are quite common. But do not forget that in the end this leads to quite positive results, because the trader thus gains experience.

I’m not entirely positive about this statement. The problem is, this is not something where you should keep doing mistakes and learn from it. It’s trading, it’s all about money. The market is hugely mistaken for giving a lot but the thing is it takes from someone and gives to someone. The money does not just comes to your account when you make right trading but it’s because someone is selling or loosing at that particular time. Obviously there are different types of trades and each of them has there own inputs and outputs. But, it’s better to jump into trading once you learn analysis properly.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: Trouble in paradise for India? on: June 05, 2022, 01:58:36 PM
The problem started kick in when they gave state to state authorities on imposing the taxes. There is at least few cents of difference between petrol and diesel prices itself within the country. This is because India's Central government and State Government incurs the taxes on the basis of GST structure. This further divides into CGST and SGST meaning (Central & State Service Tax). This is not the bad part, the bad part is this tax is entirely different from the Import duty, which gets CESS added up.

It's mind wobbling when you see the tax structure in here.

Now, further to the case, after pandemic hit hard, India's economy was hampered too as the case with entire world. With Russia Ukraine war, India being friendly nation is now in ambiguity to whom to support.

Though Russia has decreased a little charges on crude oil, government continues to recover the funds through taxes and thus everything is becoming very very costly in India.

Its fuel, then causes cost appreciation in transport, logistics, products and services. The whole circle keeps rising.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good for future hold? on: June 05, 2022, 01:28:24 PM
You can not match up the price prediction with the current whole market correction. The market correction as whole is entirely different from single coin and it’s own project development. On larger scale this coin would be no where due to its alternate existence. You will have to rely on the project development, road map follow ups and how team is effectively marketing the product or service that they offer through this coin.

Definitely over the time crypto space will get valued a lot due to appreciation value of assets and thus it will get higher fiat value all the time.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had 50k and it was life or death situation to triple that money to pay... on: June 05, 2022, 01:02:36 PM
That’s completely insane. You should not be putting those 50k in danger with any of the investment. There is no thing that can get your money tripled overnight. In this you will risk your money and could get into trouble with the whole medical services. You better visit nearest bank or relatives who can help you with the insurance or emergency medical services. I barely think anyone should be asking this question in the crypto where they want to make their investment triple and help for medical reasons. Just hope he will be alright.
1690  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 04, 2022, 05:15:50 PM
Oh, how I regret I did not bet on men's Roland Garros results!
Today Zverev (odds 48.72) lost half-final not with Nadal (6.35) but with his health. And in few moments we will know the second player for the final, Ruud (43.07) plays against Cilic (76.28, Other!).
Even if Nadal win the main prize, odds >6 make a big win for everyone who placed the bet.
I cannot imagine that Rolland Garros would be won by someone with odds >40, but it would be really really great. 183 people who bet on Ruud or 251 who bet on "Other" will remember it for long.

The odd for Nadal is really nice and chances are pretty high that he will win a new title tomorrow ! A lot of people expected that Djokovic or Alcaraz with win the title as Nadal was also struggling with a foot injury.
Congrats by the win with winning the bet on Swiatek, she dominated the whole tournament and also the final was an easy win for her.

I am not sure if Im on time to bet on this tournament since the time wager is not much now and odds are fluctuating lot. Irrespective what type of tournament and opponent it is but I would always bet on Nadal just because of fan following inertia for this guy.  Tongue

I am more active on multiplier, btc interest and price betting rather than games but I am seeing lot of discussion on games and also saw huge thread for grand prix last to last week. Looks like I should start betting on the sports too, they have higher odds too!
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Price Up & Down is normal be patient All Crypto Holders on: June 04, 2022, 04:57:42 PM
Great, I am the follower of this particular formula. You can not win the crypto market if you are not patient enough to wait for an opporunit like this. Most of them call this as blood bath, crypto going to hell and what not. But thats completely non sense, they forget that this is the real opportunity and one should not be bending it over. Many of them cried when bitcoin went from 3k to 60k in the past, they did not even try to buy it when it was slowly moving towards new high. Always kept asking question like when bitcoin movement will stop, is this opportunity to buy and what not! That's completely insane, they should buy and keep buying when such bear trend is on the way.
1692  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Legal Tender in El Salvador, Here’s How It’s Going on: June 04, 2022, 04:15:21 PM
Those figures man, never expected it after the buzz they got for us when they declared El Salvador having legal tender for bitcoin. If you foresee the conditions in other countries where bitcoin is not even legal tender then also they have higher adoption of the bitcoin. Surprisingly the craze increased in Nigeria when they stated we are working on the bitcoin legalities even though their currency is not doing so well.

The reason seems to be very odd, but it must be studied as to why adoption is failing in that country? This study can help boost the future adoptions in other countries and avoid mistakes that were done by the El Salvador. May be its peeps choice??
1693  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 04, 2022, 01:05:47 PM
I like the idea but I am little concerned about the age group which falls above their 50-60’s. These are mostly the generations who has seen their 60-80’s century and they just Love the cash a lot. In my country this group counts in for huge number. I think similar is the case in some part of America. We should not be implementing cashless structure immediately right out because there is sometime for that timeline. Moreover there is also shortage of proper infrastructure throughout the world where digital transactions aren’t possible. Some countries are facing challenges like demonetisation of their currencies and thus cost of maintaining it over digital network is far costly than printing it. If we come out of these problems then yeah, we are good to go for the same.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trace hacked bitcoins on: June 04, 2022, 11:42:00 AM
I see no point in tracing down such accounts where we have either lost the keys or entire wallet is hacked. I mean the cost does not make sense. One thing is sure, person with huge amount of money in their bitcoin account would never loose their keys so easily and secondly they will always keep multiple copies of the same secured smartly.

This is why I remember there was one discussion recently where you should always split your bitcoin into multiple wallets and preferably keep decent amount on the hardware wallet.

If it’s tiny amount then just forget about it, you will exhaust yourself recovering them. That’s because bitcoin is built on the ideology of security, and anonymous nature.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins made you 100x returns in last 6 years ? on: June 03, 2022, 08:38:23 PM
Did you make 100x your money ? What coins did you invest in that made you huge amounts of returns in the last 4-6 years. Would be curious to see what you guys took a chance and made a lot of money

Why did you choose that coin ?
Everyone who buys coins before 2018 and hold it for long-term they definitely get good profit of 100x or more. The current market is relatively lower position, investing your assets for the next bull run have the possibility to get such type of return.

That’s not just 100x but more than that. I would say some made over 1000% hikes while others went even more than that. Crypto is crazy place. Like someone buying SHIBA and getting 4K percent hike was possible few months back. So I would not be surprised if someone says I have made profits like that. Well, let’s not talk about those who bought bitcoins at cents worth prices because that’s insane amount of multiplication even with the current bearish market. So let’s make sure we keep buying and holding for next ten years minimum.
1696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: June 03, 2022, 07:59:52 PM
@Dave1, correct that’s the idea here. Most of them loose hopes to faith everything at once in the bearish market because they are not sure if they will ever recover the money they have invested into it. The problem with the current situation is similar to what it was Back in 2017 or before that; only the reason for drop is completely different. That will always keep changing, bitcoin will always keep falling and rising so why worry and go sell our portfolio. Like you said, bagging more portfolio is ideal rather than sitting and frustrating for sell off. If we are in the crypto and purchased something then there should be long term thinking that should go in.
1697  Economy / Economics / Re: The effect of the 100 day war on Russia economically on: June 03, 2022, 07:28:49 PM
To me its economic suicide and thats also blind one! Im not sure what they are still trying to achieve. They don't understand that Ukraine being very small country in front of the Russia has given toughest fight ever. No matter what, NATO and US will keep supporting Ukraine and giving the armoury to fight with them. Russia will definitely go in huge unrecoverable debts once all the business starts to go off the grid from Russia. The process is slow because all the businesses has to plan their journey out of Russia very smoothly so that they wont hamper their revenue. Most of them might be making deals with their banks for settlement overseas, some of them might be selling off their properties so that they could at least recover the property valuations towards their businesses. This however is applicable to the businesses who had off shore chains in Russia. In bigger picture Russia is not doing well, they will collapse.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kenyan energy company entices Bitcoin miners with geothermal power on: June 03, 2022, 06:58:48 PM
That’s wonderful. Renewable energy usage is at its best so this country is doing best at producing it. This is good for bitcoin mining as well as nature itself. Even I saw one interview of Elon musk where he clearly mentioned whole USA can be lighten up with the renewable energy and pointing out the usage of solar panels for the purpose.  The only thing is it’s cost and how each country look at it in building up the infrastructure for the same. They should really learn many things from the Kenya. Imagine all the cold wars regarding power consumption and high green house effects due to bitcoin mining would vanish up with this source.
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paid the birth fee using bitcoin at the clinic, by accident. on: June 02, 2022, 12:12:44 PM
Hey man congratulations to you and your wife. It's good to see you ended up into a professional who was ready to deal in bitcoins. Reminds me old age when peeps use to trade anything valuable for their services and goods. Like gold! Bitcoin in that sense is becoming way popular and helping peeps to trade freely almost anywhere. Definitely no one can deny the payments in bitcoin and this will even change further in few years when everybody will carry bitcoin wallet. Just scan the QR and send the payment. After all its all about how much we educate everyone slowly. In developed countries mostly in western side I see the bitcoin has injected a lot into ecosystem and one can get help with it easily! It's he accepted it, very nice! story to share with fellow colleagues.
