2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More DeFi Drama: Wonderland co-founder turns out to be convict and scammer on: January 30, 2022, 11:43:51 AM
The founder knows about the scammy past and still went ahead to give this scammer a second chance? What do they take crypto space for? The founder should have know better that if this leaks out one day they will all go down together, what a stupid risk to take

Well, it seems that they were both having some sort of deal on this and loot the peeps in the manner with which they would say it was crypto space.
I cant believe it how the CEO's and founders could be such scammers in this world? He had his wealth built up with the previous firm and still he came in hot to scam everyone.

This makes me angry because peeps are sometimes very blind and know nothing about the investments however, they all invest money because they go have faith on someone or something that will one day turn their wealth into something.

Not everyone here is able to recover the losses. Many of us are here to achieve the dreams as well.

Such scammers make us go one foot back! All the time.
2082  Economy / Economics / Re: Jeremy Grantham predicts the US 'superbubble' will pop, wiping out $35 trillion on: January 30, 2022, 07:32:34 AM
Well it’s not China who relying on the USA, it’s actually USA who is relying on China to fulfill their needs.
China has cheap labour’s and mega production houses all over it and this is why they alone has power to feed the global supply chain.

I don’t usually take side and never talk positively about china (lolz) but when it comes to production then they are the leader.

USA is more or less silicone valley brain, but al the dirt work of producing to assembling is done by china at cheapest level possible.

So this truss is gonna be their forever.

I put the disclaimer but it doesn't mean the owner will lower the prize pool. If he did it would be a minimum 1k pool, but long as we see serious interest there are no worries. It's $11 buy in, I think it shouldn't be an issue to get 20-30 players easy. Top 9 in points after 8 games make it to the final game where everyone is paid out something. It's really a steal for all who want to try.

No biggie, was kinda clarifying the previous post that I quoted but yeah the new payout system is great. Everyone is going to get a piece of the prizepool just by making it to the grand finale

The only thing that feels weird to me is that rebuy is only available until the end of level 1. Kinda wonder if anyone would actually use after busted out somehow on lvl 1, thats literally 2500BB though. You gotta be so wild to actually busted out on lvl 1

This is new and I like it! I hope the new rule can attract more players, because, yeah, it's a steal, indeed.

Yeah its 2% on 7-9th, thats $20 minimum if the final prizepool is $1000. Pretty good compared to the last one

I see putting the barrier on level 1 is to avoid the entry of wilders into other levels getting them higher odds of winning. I mean the prizepool is 1000 bucks for example, so it wont be much for them to keep rebuying to get into tourney until the finish line. That would be well, what can I say; catastrophic for the soft players or for those who are just playing with real spine there!

Its more or less pass code to keep going on. May be thats why its for single level?

Definitely eye catchy offer to the players. This is what gonna keep them on the table. Its still win-win if they end up in that row. Plus fun along the way is another sweet treat for ya!
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show a newbie the way on: January 29, 2022, 06:44:20 PM
Now that bear market is slowly taking over the market what can a newbie do to make money in a bear market? Staking is a bad idea in bear market I heard, even mining coins are not profitable in bear market too so what's the way forward?

Mining coins is actually way profitable in the bear market than you think mate. You just have to brace yourself with the bills and utility maintenance with your pocket money. However this is only for the period of bearish trend. Once market takes off you can easily earn handsome money and get the charges back for your pocket money.

The fact that miners actually love the bearish trend as you everyone is dumping during this period however you would be mining fresh coins during this period which you can sell at higher prices in the later times.

I am myself mining RVN (Ravecoin) since couple of years now.

I have seen this coin trading at $0.15, $0.12, $0.05. These were the different levels of pricing and I mined through all of them.

The $0.05 was the time when I made most of the profit from RVN because your "mining" stays the same however only the price is lowered. Its like you are buying at the lowest prices and then you can easily sell at the higher rates in later times.
2085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any reputable exchange that lend DEFI tokens?? on: January 29, 2022, 06:02:13 PM
Good that someone is finding new ways of earning some passive income.

Well I am currently testing out CakeDEFI for their lending and staking sections. Currently they are able to Lend for following coins:

Bitcoin Lending (Expected APY 6%)
ETH Lending (Expected APY 6%)
USDC Lending (Expected APY 7%)
USDT Lending (Expected APY 7%)

How the lending section works on the CAKE has been clearly sorted out for each of the above coins.
For example, if you gonna do it with the bitcoin then you can see the following illustration which I have quoted directly from website itself:

They have segregated the returns based on the market price change, the amount you invest with the tier at which you are and spot pricing factors. I advise you to go through the use case properly to understand what you gonna get in return for your money.

Quote
Illustrations
For illustrative purposes, say a Lending batch provides the following:

Guaranteed BTC return of 5% BTC p.a.
Bonus BTC return of 2.5% BTC p.a. if BTC spot price at batch expiry is US$12,500 or more.
E.g. Spot price at batch start date is US$10,000.

A user enters with 10 BTC.

Sample scenario 1: Bitcoin price stays relatively consistent throughout the batch period
Spot price at batch expiry is US$10,500 (+ US$500 compared to start price)

Return would thus be 5% p.a. in BTC.

Said user would thus be receiving:

10 BTC (entry amount)
0.0374982 BTC (BTC return at 5% p.a.)
Therefore, total amount received would be: 10.0374982 BTC

Sample scenario 2: Bitcoin is priced lower at batch expiry
Spot price at batch expiry is US$2,500 (- US$7,500 compared to start price)

As Lending provides a guaranteed base return, user return would still be 5% p.a. in BTC.

Said user would thus be receiving:

10 BTC (entry amount)
0.0374982 BTC (BTC return at 5% p.a.)
Therefore, total amount received would be: 10.0374982 BTC

Sample scenario 3: Bitcoin is priced higher and hits a bonus tier
Spot price at batch expiry is US$13,000 (+ US$3,000 compared to start price)

Base return would be 5% p.a. in BTC.
As BTC closes at US$13,000, which satisfies the condition for bonus tier (i.e. US$12,500 or higher) additional return would be 2.5% p.a. in BTC.

Total return would thus be: 7.5% p.a.

Said user would thus be receiving:

10 BTC (entry amount)
0.0374982 BTC (BTC return at 5% p.a.)
Bonus 0.01896023 BTC (Bonus BTC return at 2.5% p.a.)
Therefore, total amount received would be: 10.05645843 BTC

Now they do claim there is guaranteed returns on your lending amount however it is guaranteed for the base returns.
I have actually ended up with CAKE Defi because I am in need of money, so got to know about this lending services.

I would suggest you to learn the website before you go ahead. Though Trustpilot has claimed the service is legit, you are requested to have your own research.

KYC is mandatory on this project.
2086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 29, 2022, 12:07:46 PM
Thats crazy and thoughtful however, you could have sold them at ATH and they rebuy more bitcoins when we are surfing through the bearish movements right now. Courage and all is fine but have you ever thought of multiplying your own bitcoins with above strategy? Since you are already in enormous profits, you have nothign to loose.

I am not telling you to sell them because you have held them since decade+ but I am telling you to be proactive with your bitcoin which are literally valued a lot and you can simply keep on adding more bitcoins with this investment.

Your signature says 1 BTC = 1BTC, but what would you do when you are out of 1 BTC? You need more, sell, re-invest and keep growing.  Smiley
2087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the bitcoin's Moon boys ? on: January 29, 2022, 11:02:52 AM
Every time the market is green, we see a lot of youtube and social media influencers come out to guide people and to predict the targets for bitcoin and altcoins. But as the market dumps, we see no sign of these moon boys. Why don't they come to advise us in the these times.
Maybe they are unable to face the public because they have given too much unrealistic hopim to the people ?

Lolz. That is somehow true idk. Even twitter is always flooded with the same strategy. In the downtime twitter does show some good signs of buying in this dip sort of tweets however they are not as trendy as youtube video would be. So yup, missing out the moon boys is realistic here. In joke way I believe that they themselves might be helping to recover their own losses.

Anyways, getting influence by these peeps and then investing or trading your money is not that much rightful. Honestly, this market is not meant for that. Its free market, you should choose your own assets and goals here. Since this is off the chart unstable market the risk is truly ours, whether to put up the money in the market or not?
2088  Economy / Economics / Re: What If? on: January 28, 2022, 04:55:58 PM
USA is not on the right track to be honest. First the economical burden is rising all the time due to pandemic situation and secondly they are going towards inflationary world.

I think this is really bad to see USA is sanctioning proposals which are more threats to them. I’m surprised to see that USA has made multi billion business deals with china and if they loose the china deal then GOD knows what USA could turn into?

Inflated country which is having lowered economic growth. Can’t imagine this with USA.
2089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trezor implements Address Ownership Proof Protocol, more regulation less privacy on: January 28, 2022, 10:07:30 AM
Oh man and I thought putting the bitcoin into your wallet is itself the ownership for us.

So what will happen to the “not your keys not your bitcoins” pledge ? Is it not what we always learnt on this forum. I always knew government will some way another gonna let down the whole crypto ecosystem this way.

Don’t know after this I have started to think that government could just go and hire private companies to take down the whole privacy chain with them. You know like connecting with the wallet companies and paying them to option out for this KYC address stuff.

This is crazy rude.
2090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be wiser than the market on: January 27, 2022, 06:28:54 PM
It may seem easy to follow up with the trend however it is not that simple as it seems.
Crypto trading is complete game and if you wanna go with the trend then huge amount of trust is needed when you are choosing the assets.

If we gonna get wiser than market then this needs to be buckled up pretty well. Immense study, proper execution from bearish to bill trend is indeed needed while working on these methods.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 27, 2022, 06:13:19 PM
I think airdrop is just way of marketing the project. So I think you got confused with airdrop and bounties. If I remember correctly then airdrop is part of bounty itself or it’s just another campaign running elsewhere and you are still getting paid in the tokens in either ways.

Also your question about relying on the bounties and airdrop does not make sense. Both of them same. Secondly, when you are doing a bounty we never know what’s up ahead.

You can just enrol, get tokens, wait for the listing and project development. That’s all.
2092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: January 27, 2022, 05:02:58 PM
This pretty world of trading is as crazy as I’m drunk on the Friday night. Lolz. It has taught me how to not screw our finances due to zero patience and worst greed of monetary system.

Surely trading can make you very patient over the time only if you really do it after learning the skills, and perfect analysis of market.

It has taught me to “study”, “read” and “implement”.
2093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor has Acquired 121,044 BTC at $3.57 Billion on: January 27, 2022, 03:15:13 PM
Im Hm, Michael is not at all doing well in this bearish trend.

Man, just look at the figures at this very moment. I mean he bought at 59K USD, which is worth some billion and its now cut down into half directly.

If he would have waited little bit then he could have had double the number of bitcoins in his wallet. The thing is everything is uncertain in the crypto world and this is the best example of it.

I always say, examples like these are million to billion dollar LESSONS for us. Even if you have pennies or billions, its all about the timing and analysis at which you trade your money.

Be smart, patient and visionary when you are going into bitcoin world. Dam!
2094  Economy / Economics / Re: Cannabis company in Colombia using blockchain for their crops. on: January 27, 2022, 12:39:36 PM
This is good because of one thing; it’s something that is regulated stuff and it will ultimately make the government to look into it. Since the product is highly foreseen by regulatory authorities for its legal use they will have to have the collaborative working with the Cannabis sale company so that they can see if things are not going under the table.

Moreover, with the point of view of data integration in blockchain no one can hold the hand for its data integrity. So yup they are on the right path.

Since it’s mega project both financially and legally it’s gonna benefit a lot.
2095  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bulls Are Coming Back Soon, Are You Ready To Ride? on: January 26, 2022, 04:14:58 PM
Haha,

I lover the way you drew a bull over the candle chart, good imagination power and nice correlation between the two. Since the market is more or less gone viral with the bearish trend lately, I see it as completely normal behaviour of the market. This winter trend always there if you compare the chart from last 5-6 years. I mean before that there are too many ups and downs but within the last two halving cycles things are pretty steady in terms of going up and coming down charts.

I am seeing completely safe entry point here because with the time bitcoins gonna go up along with the small bikes and cars that are riding with it (alts).

So traders, definitely pull yourself together for long cold war here.  Wink
2096  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: January 26, 2022, 04:00:37 PM
Very cheap this time with bigger prize pool. So don’t worry you have another chance at biggest award of 2500 bucks.  Tongue

Well actually we might get lower than that, Yahoo added the disclaimer that Betnomi has the right to reduce the grand final prizepool if we have less than 20 players on average on the series. Pretty sure we are going to get max 15 on average for sure

this is going to be an exciting event as the minimum gets in is $10 which is quite flexible for many that want to take part in the tournament.

Well actually 10 euro ( $11.32) because the site seems to use euro as for their main currency in poker. Small differences there, no biggie

Anyway the first round has been listed, feel free to check and register on it if you are planning to play this weekend. The password is series1 and currently we have 3 players registered so far

I still find it fair. Because if players are lesser than what is expected then finale price should be in equal ratio's. After all we will have to average based on that strategy itself. I am not sure what the latest number of enrolment but I just hope that we will get to higher side and have 2500 price at the finale.

I think most of the peeps are not reaching out the poker series thread yet in the Games and Rounds. May be betnomi should publish about this on the social media's 2-3 times a day to get others to join.

Idk, but forum members are enthusiastic and they always have last minute call all the time.  Cheesy Cheesy
2097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Busking to promote Bitcoin on: January 25, 2022, 11:42:58 AM
We are with you just host live concert with most popular band and peeps would be crazy enough to follow their rock or pop star. Considering the electric guitar best to put it at work in Rock band.

Have some big LCD behind the stage show casing bitcoin everywhere. May be we can also throw or shower the biggest balloon over peeps attending the show.

The tickets of concert should have bitcoin printed all over it.

May be this will do some gaga movement !!  Grin

Well today I finally raked in some money (ITM).
Are you saying that I missed the tournament?  Shocked
I kind of subscribed to all the threads in which the announcement could be published but I did not see a single mention.

Betnomi poker freeroll #6 FINAL FREEROLL
Well, just in case, although it was also published on Telegram, but I understand you, it happened to me on Monday, I didn't see it, I didn't hear it, anything.

BPS 2022
BBFPS
The betnomi tournament is going to start from the 30th of this month and if you follow the link posted and it takes you to the announcement thread created by yahoo, so get your bag and skills on to play some poker and make money with the freeroll minimum amount $10 so it's kind of easy and friendly to everyone to get in the tournament.
it has being long i have not entered betnomi announcement thread to check the level of what they have, i know very well that betnomi that time have to deal with poker game even casino, i think am right? Because it was last two years i encounter betnomi signature campaign when I recently joined the community, i will check their announcement thread to get update of the platform

Somehow many peeps missed it out. May be there was communication gap with the promos and stuff or some other casinos might have been more in the talks.

However betnomi being the older one most of the users are in telegram where you can easily get the updates.

You can always join the tourney I guess. Very cheap this time with bigger prize pool. So don’t worry you have another chance at biggest award of 2500 bucks.  Tongue

@Betnomi, I was wondering how mobile view and website view has few different features/contents. Like I was looking at the affiliate program today as I wanted to start a campaign. I was surfing this through my phone and noticed that there are like Four types of Affiliate Commissions provided by you.

  • Wager System
  • Revenue Share
  • Hybrid
  • Sub Affiliate

Checkout the screenshots from mobile version of the Betnomi. The representation is entirely different as compared to the website version.
Or may be I am looking at the wrong place in the WEB version?

Many of them may not even get to know these kinds comission schemes are present as most of us use WEB version of the BETNOMI.

2100  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook Diem on the run for launch on: January 23, 2022, 12:17:37 PM
I do not think that Facebook in its best condition to start a new war, which is launching a digital currency and urging its huge community to do so. There are many problems they face:

  • Cambridge Analytica scandal and privacy protection.
  • Data manipulation and extremist content control scandal.
  • Problems of monopoly and their possession of evidence bases.
  • Privacy issues in WhatsApp.
  • The recent problems that led to the freezing of all its applications for more than 4 hours.

the society is now not ready to launch digital currencies or start spending, especially with supply chain problems.

If anyway somehow facebook manages to launch the Diem I dont think that its anyways different concept than what we have today?

Same over and over again, the payment system, self control, this governance that governance, I am really disappointed as to what is new in that one? I am simply happy with the way bitcoin is or any shit coin that offers me lightening transaction over blockchain.

If they gonna convince me that I will be able to use the Diem over real world applications or using the fb services then no thanks, it all got covered with the current projects (N-number of them).
