2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 19, 2022, 12:56:51 PM
Altcoins always been underrated since the beginning. Even I did not like the altcoins and always commented in negative sense to them until the time when I started  with crypto mining. With the highe difficulty and huge cost involved, I literally put bitcoin to the second place. It was simply not affordable to me so I just cut it down the road and started building rigs which will profit through altcoin mining. The thing is I own more altcoins rather than I do bitcoin. Moreover, I never felt like converting them into bitcoin because they are already profiting me with the ups and downs they get from the bitcoin trail.

So indirectly, alts can also profit you if you gonna choose the selected coins. Just go with it. Most of them are also following the trails of bitcoin which means you can just understand how they might behave in future and thus you can invest accordingly.
2022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kraken CEO give a heads up to carefully use CEX on: February 19, 2022, 12:14:36 PM
Well this is one of the best example that no matter what, not your keys not your coins.
Yes, I know its about the CEX, but on the other hand just think about the tweet from CEO of exchanger itself. They know very well, if they are forced to freeze the assets then they wont be able to give it to the clients account. It would be their own liability if they loose it. So clear message, even if they are multi millionaire exchanger they can't help you whenever there is situation like this or even the hacking. You will always get suffered with this. I kinda started to think that Peer 2 Peer option is far better these days rather than keeping the assets on exchangers.
At the least they gave the notice to their followers, hope so everyone gets the lesson of not your keys!
2023  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia gives in and considers accepting bitcoin exchange on: February 19, 2022, 11:55:13 AM
We also know very well that though they ban it they can stop them using it. Same thing happened with their friendly nation India. The crypto had been ban so many times in the past and yet India is holding one of the largest crypto coins in the globe. With the legal tender passing the users are growing at alarming rate.

Now same thing will happen with the Russia as they passed the legalisation of same. Any technical guy can tell, blockchain environment is made in such that, the public ledger allows us to access it from anywhere with just an internet connection.

With VPN tunnels and back doors it’s nearly impossible to restrict the use of crypto. Better accept it and help contribute.
2024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Just Legalized Bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 11:41:27 AM
Seems to be rival competition. Since most of the countries are now starting to adopt the crypto currencies some way or other, its nothing new for Ukraine. Idk, with the time we are going to follow numerous such news that X country passed legal tender about bitcoin and so on. With the time and most preferably due to the pandemic, situation of financial burden is now lurking head in different countries.

The indirect effect is from crypto currency market. I mean, since many peeps are investing into crypto no matter what, government is loosing the taxes from it. Thus, they left with no choice but to enter the market with legalisation and try to get some profits out of it.
2025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New and emerging Cryptocurrencies? on: February 18, 2022, 08:22:57 PM
One of the toughest question asked in crypto space.  Tongue
There is seriously no right answer for this one but you can always invest in the routine coins. By routine I mean the coins which are already on the market and are being haunted by famous personalities or investors around the globe. Though it may look like stupid idea but believe me peeps are already making great deal of money out of it. If anyways it’s all about making money then it’s wise to follow the foot steps of those coins which are heavily talked about and invested.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador positions itself as the first Bitcoin city at Expo2020 in Dubai on: February 18, 2022, 08:00:13 PM
El Salvador seems to be doing everything they could to publish their name as bitcoin city. They are truly being very strong over and over again. Since the day they started legal adoption of the bitcoin I was little skeptical about the whole Bitcoin City story. But Sam we are here now, there is always name of El Salvador after every few talks. I think this is how one famous name keeps going on and sets an example for the rest.

They went into the richest country around the world and promoted bitcoin there is coolest thing here. I just hope they keep doing this ever and ever.
2027  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: February 18, 2022, 06:56:45 PM
I'm surprised that this topic only constantly talks about poker, I don't think that's the intention of this topic. Another topic has already been started in the past that is only about poker, the focus is mainly on gambling on sports and the casino should not only be poker because that's what it's all about now I would like to know if it is games are those that have recently been deposited and played at Noma's bed and what the results are.
There is nothing wrong discussing about poker because it becomes a tournament that is currently held by betnomi that gets a lot of attention from btt members, but surely soon there will be a discussion about VIP clubs here because they have just launched, many prizes provided one of them Tesla Model 3, I see this information in their telegram.
Lots of great items can be won from the VIP program. Not only is there a VIP program but there are also other added benefits on the site. They now offer rakeback. Rakeback is based off of your level, so the higher your level, the more you can earn. There is also cashback which also gets higher the higher your level.

So many exciting things are starting to happen on Betnomi. Hope to see you all there.

I am more than excited for this because betnomi already mentioned this couple of weeks ago. Honestly I am waiting for all the offers to go live so that we can see how much to spend. Rake back surely is amazing thing and most of the casinos are offering it as generous way of being the client for them.

I’m looking for the roadmap where betnomi said they will have TESLA offerings too. One had lambo and now here we get the chance to motivate ourselves to play for Tesla. Idk, its gonna be huge surprise ever for those who wins through VIP program.
2028  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 17, 2022, 04:07:42 PM
Well at the end of the day we still have to report our taxes to the nation where we breath. That’s the whole and sole problem living in this world. It’s free, but it’s not completely independent.

It’s true that as long as you trade and invest from bitcoin to bitcoin or bitcoin to other coins then no one knows you hold it. However at some point if you wanna buy bitcoin then you have to star with fiat.

So we can’t help it, as we are part of the system.
2029  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 17, 2022, 11:28:06 AM
I consider bitcoin is anonymous. KYC maybe be a normal thing in the days to come and maybe more casinos will implement KYC for their members.

I doubt it is anonymous where there's a public lists of transactions and can track it from the very start. I agree with the KYC particularly that most of the gambling sites are regulated and it should be done at some point, if the users don't want to verify their identity through KYC they can either move to other gambling site or play to gambling site that doesn't ask KYC but I'm sure that it is not regulated and operating illegally which is way more riskier than playing on a regulated gambling sites that ask KYC.

If the big casino require this and they move to smaller one well they are taking the risk for getting scam by small ones since some of scam casino offer no KYC plus huge deposit bonus and feel pity for those guys who fall on this schemes. That's why choose what's the best casino and think positively on what they require especially doing Kyc since they adding layer of protection to its users for some regulations happened to them.

Ahh, again the same KYC stuff. I dont understand what is wrong in doing that? Well, when we go and make KYC verifications with lets say Experion Scoring company or any life insurance agent, do we ask they so many questions regarding whether they gonna keep the privacy of our documents or not? They are the one literally getting physical copies of our KYC's and could actually sell to third part. Self attested copies etc is even more riskier to trade in the real world.
If reputed Casino's are being questioned for the privacy of KYC's then dam, its gonna be difficulty in the future. I mean Roobet is definitely making more money than anyone of us could imagine. Why the heck they would go and risk the business for KYC in-secure non sense.
2030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter adds ethereum for tipping and receiving on: February 17, 2022, 10:23:48 AM
Lolz, I am so behind of everything. I did not even know that there exists such feature? What is the history behind this and whats the use. I mean why the hell I would go on the twitter and spend my tip on something as rubbish as lets say Elon manipulating tweets.  Grin

If they really want to care about the twitter community then they need to add some good features along with it. Just having tip button means nothing. Its kinda started feeling like "STEEMIT" blog where different users would come and up vote the liked post and in return they used to get the power up or STEEMS / SBD.

However, Twitter does not seem to be promoting it in commercial aspect, so not sure how successful it is?
2031  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin failed to fulfill the purpose it was created for ? on: February 16, 2022, 12:33:36 PM
May be we are on the verge of something like this. Though we know the fact that it can not be fully controlled by the government of any nation, there is still little aggression that all the banks, govtm. etc are trying to intercept bitcoin. Obviously they know very well, if crypto gonna overcome the settlement then they are done with their dirty business!

I am also little doubtful about government. If they wished then they would have formed an international committee on this and would have banned it long ago.

Know why they did not do it? Well, they have their personal interests and they know they can benefit from its use if it bended in right way and right direction. Thats what happening at the moment.
2032  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK banks issuing bonus on: February 16, 2022, 12:13:43 PM
This amount of money is still recoverable by UK with its UK Trade and Investment sectors who deals with international businesses and how to get their money deposited into the UK accounts. The fact that UK is also one of the best trade centre since long time, its gonna have proportionate amount of money in the taxation.

UK is very hard on the Tax system. They incur highest amount of Tax, that is 20%, 30% and 45% and in addition to this they also get National Insurance Collection of 12% on top of this.

Just imagine the amount of money being pulled out in the reserves. Moreover UK also benefit from less populated demography so its not really surprising they are giving away the stimulus one more time.

And one of the most attractive things for Bitcointalk users is, of course, Betnomi/Bitcointalk forum poker series($2500 GRAND FINAL Whole field gets paid ). Join up, guys, and thank me later. Smiley

Yeah the Grand Finale. I am sure most of the forum members already came to know about this promotion. Hope so they will take out time for “fun and earn” finale.

And yet very few forum members are participating. There were only 17 players at the tables yesterday. I really don't understand why poker players are reluctant to join in.

Look at the spreadsheet, guys, and you'll see that that there is still a good chance of playing in the Grand Finale if you'll start playing next Sunday. I have only 4 points myself, but I don't lose hope. Smiley And, dig this:

~
Every player who joined at least 4 of the 8 qualifying tournaments, will be eligible to play in the Small Final, no matter how many points they accumulated. You will receive a password for this tournament and don't have to pay an entry fee.  ~

And the Small Final means $500 prize pool with no entry fee. Still not convinced? Smiley

Congrats on taking down the tournament for the second time in a row, @arallmuus! Smiley

Yes I know few of them are participating because of timezone issues. I discussed this earlier and also there was some discussion by other forum members that due to late night poker games and flip over night time most of them are unable to join. Still there are huge part of peeps in western side, I’m not sure why are they not enrolling. They should while they have such great poker game up front.

Congratulations to @arallmuus. You doing great with the game and setting good hard example for others on the table. GG with 400k chips in your pocket. That’s the game actually, you either show them whose the boss or you act like you don’t care whose the boss.  Grin Grin
2034  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: February 13, 2022, 11:57:02 AM
I don’t want to comment on whether it’s called as side job or not, it’s just a job which pays you. The worlds changing at alarming rate and things are getting costly. With inflation on the verge in USA, rest of them gonna pay for the same. It’s better to have more than 2 side incomes and enjoy the benefits of same.

Today’s world is all about making huge loads of money. If your wallet is gonna be empty then all you left with is your home and four walls of it.

So always remember, whether it is side income or main income source; at the end of day it pays you the green bill.
2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About USDT on: February 13, 2022, 10:50:11 AM
then why DAI ( decentralized stable coin) haven't grow over USDT all this while?
Let me use bitcoin as an example, it is decentralized, but why are people preferring centralized exchanges over decentralized exchanges? It is just because people like what is trending and they like what others are using, they do not care about having in-depth knowledge about it and how their privacy are easily invaded.

But this is what I thought about it, almost all exchanges are paring bitcoin and other unstable decentralized coins with USDT, that is one of the reasons more people are using it. Exchanges will also like a coin that is so centralized to the extent it can easily be freezed by the developer behind it.

USDT can easily be freezed, be it on exchanges or noncustodial wallets, it is very centralized.

That is the insecurity for many of us. If I’m every getting paid in USDT then I’m completely fine with it however I’m  only believing it’s true stable value. Obviously things won’t change for USDT overnight. It’s completely fine to use it but it’s not fine to hold it forever or have it as secure place to store your coins when crypto is crashing. Though it’s volume is enormous, it still has legal issues and devalued trust for the same reasons. DAI, on the other hand came with traditional roadmap. There is still time when peeps start using it. More or less there are many more options than before so the investments are getting scattered.
2036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where comes and how exchanges gets the bitcoins that I buy? on: February 13, 2022, 09:42:46 AM
Though all the above answers are true and up to the mark, I would like to add up that today’s exchanges have evolved a lot and now they have started to have own back up deposits by means of “holding” the coins and giving our APY% to the users for this staking or hodling activity. Though this might be one of the ways to earn money for us but this is actual forms the liquidity pool for the Exchangers so that they can stabilise the exchanger, it’s earning and pool requirements.

It’s really big stuff that goes around it so in modern exchanger it’s more than just peer to peer exchange!
2037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lies and critics about bitcoins on: February 13, 2022, 08:39:41 AM
What do you mean by USA banned the gold few years back. Why I’m still seeing the Gold Rush show from history channel till today? Was it a lie too!

I don’t think we should be believing piece of paragraph that is being published in the news articles like this. Even the reputed sites like medium, word press etc can be easily manipulated by the writers. It’s either fake publicity, more attention seeking attitude via negative news or simply paid news.

There are genuine podcasts, TV news channels and also science based channels which can tell the reality.

Better always confirm with multiple channels.

Bitcoin is still gonna be part of our lives forever. Like forever!
2038  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 13, 2022, 05:44:15 AM
Most of the crowd is not in the game yet. We think that worlds most population is using the bitcoin in first place but they are not really. There is still long journey for bitcoin. Government is also majorly disturbing the flow of bitcoin usage by their schemes like national digital currency and confusing peeps.

However, this will change. This will be a gradual change and once it goes to next stage you will be asking how the heck bitcoin got this much price.  So stay tuned and stick to it!

~Poker is anyways going good for the players, they are enjoying the beer at last every weekend.  Cheesy
More than excited to see the new developments in the betnomi promotions.

Poker on Betnomi is real fun. Hundreds of people are playing there at any given time, and there are free rolls attracting more than 1,500 players! Basically, almost every hour there's  a free roll of a kind, but that's not all. Lots of attractive GTD tournaments with various buy-ins can be found there too, and many players are playing in them, so it's not like only freerollers are hanging out on the site.

Yes different GTD is always an option we are not into the current sessions. Since the community is coming from all over the globe, the timelines not same. Most of the Asian side it comes after middle of night so they may not enrol all the time. However these different GTD are the reason for availability of the games to everyone of us. There are also locally hosted GTD as seen with number of players. Like you know friends coming altogether.  Tongue

2040  Economy / Economics / Re: US national debt exceeds $30 trillion on: February 12, 2022, 05:19:30 PM
This is example of developed country with poor ecosystem management. It’s ridiculous how they went into $30 trillion in debt. It’s seriously not a joke for Americans. The inflation is on one side and the rising debt on another; this could be damaging in further development of the country. This is the point where healthy relationship between government and peeps start to break apart.

Government will go rogue and impose unimaginable charge backs through taxes, reduced facilities, defaulters with high penalties and much more. When this happens Americans won’t be able to understand what is happening because they would have already been very dependent on government schemes and shoulders.

I hear they spend $3-4 trillion on defence system. Man, 10 years budget right there!!
