1902  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Part II - [GUIDE - Personal Experience] How to get started with Mining Continued on: March 28, 2022, 05:52:45 AM
**UPDATES**

As the temperature in my country is rising, with heat waves hitting the city due to summer its impacting the mining performance a lot.

Over the period of time your machines start to cry. In my case Power Supply Unit, PSU-V1000 model has started to get some troubles.

With my experience its very common.....
1) PSU going dead
2) PSU going into cyclic reboot
3) PSU supplying undervoltage.

Due to overheating of the mining rig, one machine launched its auto stop program multiple times in a day which ultimately caused few shorts in the wirings. So my PSU is getting lot of shocks due to on-off process. Due to shorting of wires, PSU is getting into cyclic reboots as well.

The first instance started back in January.

It started to give error of 511C.
This means one of the GPU is getting overheated. But in reality its not. This happens when you wirings are not properly fixed, or you have short-circuit in the connect from GPU to riser and to motherboard.

However, another rig is completely fine and balancing the profitability since RVN is already trading at its lowest rate and I am not in hurry to sell them.

The healthy rig, running since 3 years with some on off months!

It feels good when you see dashboard like this:

The Solution for PSU?

Well I am thinking about running 2 GPU first by decreasing the power supply load. Will keep increasing one GPU at time so that it wont overload it and burst into flames.
This is one of the troubleshooting aspect.

Or else will have to replace the entire PSU too.

being unresponsive to issues like this won't reflect positively on their casino. I wonder what's going on inside their team. though they are inactive here in the forum(probably because of the scam accusations) they seem to be active on Twitter. they just posted a new twit 20 minutes ago.

Now that’s really weird about them. This forum being most important and concentric point of contact why are they being active elsewhere. I’m not sure why would such reputed casino would turn into inactive blasting bomb. That’s really not cool as they might just get into more trouble socially and get impacted in negative ways.

After reading the posts here it seems players are getting paid, casino is lively, social media is active but not responding to only the affiliate team?

May be there is some Cold War between you guys and casino? Just asking!
1905  Economy / Economics / Re: online skills in the face of war on: March 27, 2022, 11:45:02 AM
Internet is full of different ways, this includes scam ways and legit ways. As you would guess the later one which is legit is really really less in numbers. So answering to your title "online skills" we need huge efforts to be 100% active about it. You cant just go and adopt any skills as we are not bot! you need interest in the same otherwise it wont help in the long run. To be very active its better to choose your own field of study and increase the skills in the same so that we can freelance the work. For example, if you are an IT guy then surely you will have large number of opportunities on the internet. Like, in my field of biotechnology I can not do any freelancer work since I am bind with regulations and also I would need huge laboratory set up.

So everyone should analyse what they can do based on what we studied in our lives. Or else we can also choose to have online courses learning but again as I stated above that depends on your interest.
1906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask airdrop is coming on: March 27, 2022, 11:31:08 AM
Come on they can easily add new verification criteria to the wallet. Otherwise if you check the Gleam airdrops then they are the shittiest one and anyone can easily create multiple account and claim huge number of airdrops. Literally I have seen micro tasks on a website where I work and the advertiser ask you to perform the tasks and create airdrop using our social accounts but the BSC addresses are theres. So easy to screw the airdrop that way but unfortunately they just separate the accounts using email ID and social accounts which can be made easily.

However, company like MetaMask is huge now, they will surely add up additional step like OTP verification or may be Signing a message on the Device from where you are logged in. So I dont think this will be big deal for them.
1907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What have been your crypto trading experience on: March 27, 2022, 10:25:26 AM
Just the personal experience and nothing else. I have personally never tried any guide or lessons by attending somewhere. However I have taken great learning’s from the forum itself. If you just search trading in the current section then you will find huge number of threads which has trading lessons or personal experience from the other professional or regular traders. They at least let you know what to do and what not to do so that we can push forward our trades.

I think most of the poster here has the same story. Learning from the mistakes or lessons of the other. May be you should follow the same and could get feel for the same.
1908  Economy / Economics / Re: One Alternative To High Gas Prices, The Electric Scooter on: March 27, 2022, 09:39:08 AM
This option is already getting explored as we speak. In my country EV started to run like crazy and honestly the number is growing way faster. The problem is with the fuel costing in my country. It’s just growing and growing day by day and that’s pees are exploring new options.

The big group like TATA, they have launched Nexon EV, the efficiency is around 600 km in single charge which is way way enough to travel here.

They have taken successful step even though we don’t have proper charging stations around the city. I think this is need and passion of the future that’s why it’s getting success.

So yes this alternative is big stuff ahead.
1909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Carrot Courses: Earn bitcoin while learning about Bitcoin on: March 27, 2022, 04:05:06 AM
I am going to try this definitely. I just hope they don’t have geo location restriction for this app. I’m just wondering what’s in it for them to pay out like this in the first place? I mean does app collects any data in the background or works to earn some sats to spread little sats out of it?
Whatever it may be I just hope it’s straight in its ToS and free to use app.

I love micro earnings a lot and I’m always putting more and more ways in my portfolio so that collectively it would become good income source.

Thanks for sharing this. Will put up reviews once I finish.

There is a golden rule: when luck knocks on your door and you manage to buy only a few tickets and you win a lot of money with them, then take the prize and don't play again, because you don't have luck like that twice. unfortunately what has been seen is that most people who manage to buy a few tickets both in the real world and online lottery and win a big prize that gives them a lot of money they don't take long to play again and lose everything or else they don't manage their money properly and spend it unnecessarily. i hope the winners have successes
[...]
most people play for money, i had a time i also played for money, i won and stopped for a while and then went back to playing just for fun, the small amounts of money i play is something i don't expect to get back, i give like lost money
[...]
Some have initial plan on how much they can afford to gamble but when in middle of game and you enjoy so much you provably spend more what you can afford to lose and that is what majority of newbie experience. I also experience this before and from those I learn to control myself then put some limits on the amount used also have time limit upon playing.

Best way to do this is limit on how much money you deposit in the cashier! Always start a day or whatever session you do in the limited amount of money. Never give yourself too much choices while wagering the money on the Casino. Sometimes you could end up winning lot of amount of money while on the other day you might just keep loosing all the money you have. Its best to accept both the situations whole heartedly. I see it as win win situation.

To control myself, I often turn off the whole system, log out and keep myself involved in my chores. Never ever keep the lights of your room dim while playing the Casino this will make you forget the timing and you get more involved with it.

Have some homework on yourself on how you could do responsible gambling.  Wink
1911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH future on: March 26, 2022, 11:25:56 AM
Well just because we have fear does not mean the projects should not be upgraded to newer technology? This is much much needed becasue we all are stuck with huge fees and long wait of confirmations in PoW. I dont think Vitalik will ever regret his decision. They completely understand the current issues with the ETH and he can not just sit and do nothing about it?

I fear for ETH future, almost all smart contract projects are using the PoS staking algorithm but only ETH PoW stands alone, this makes ETH different and one of a kind smart contract project, I think vitalik buterin will regret is decision after ETH goes PoS.

POW is a problem nowadays, many countries are starting to question the environmental impact caused by crypto mining activities. the biggest one is china, they last year started banning all kinds of crypto mining activities in that country. and many say POS is the solution to the problems of the crypto ecosystem. there are no issues related to environmental impact and that might be the way for wider adoption.

moreover POS on ethereum network is also a solution for better scalability. and I think being different is not the only way to be superior. so you don't need to be afraid if later ethereum looks the same as other smart contract networks that use POS first. instead it is another reason for people to use ethereum again.

Correct. Though I dont agree that mining alone is causing issues with the environmental destruction ( Roll Eyes) but what we can do about those protestor and government bans? To overcome such challenges I am sure these kinda upgrades surely needed.

Beyond this, all the new coming projects have all their rights to create projects based on the PoS. In fact we are waiting for such projects which are more or less independent and staked one.
1912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade cryptocurrencies? on: March 26, 2022, 07:36:21 AM
Best way to get into real tutor available locally or the famous tuition in your area for that matter. I have always given example of my friends who were like noob earlier but now they are all equipped with heavy skills of plotting the graphs, predicting the futures of trend by doing so called technical analysis. I think if we have such live example then its best to invest in ourselves by paying those fees but at the end you could actually predict pretty good trends for the coins you are investing into. I am not sure how many of them are here with such experience but thats the best advice. Always avoid trading which is based on the factual analysis. Believe I have been victim of such analysis many times and failed always. Peeps with TA skills are so perfect they could also observe the future and options trends way accurately. So switch to real tutor, gets the required skills and run for the cool profits.
1913  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is a part of war now, like it or not on: March 26, 2022, 07:16:56 AM
I'm sorry, I personally think the words you use are not quite right, if you say crypto is part of the war I don't agree with your review, because Satoshi's goal of making crypto is not to help war, but to solve problems, and free us from intermediaries third person, donations given to countries affected by war are not to facilitate them to buy weapons, but to help people affected by war.
Yes, that's correct. Crypto is not related to war and crypto is just a tool like a fiat.
Whether those who wage war use crypto to buy weapons of war, it is up to them as they decide what to pay in and in what form, fiat or crypto.
If people want to donate as donations to war victims, they are also free to use crypto or fiat.
That will not be a problem either because having a crypto channel as a donation opens up opportunities to get help from many people.
We have to know that crypto is a tool we can use for transactions.

I dont think this is topic of argument since its entirely based on peeps choices and stuff. We are just over excited here because we are the community of crypto lovers and thats why our estimations go beyond the imagination if there is even small update regarding the crypto world. I think its entirely fine if OP is stating this out of the love towards crypto. There is nothing wrong as we can see crypto is actually part of it because the donations are being made in the crypto. Plus the news is already floating that Ukrianian president Zelensky has made it clear that they will start accepting the crypto currencies from now and onwards. This will help rebuild them the city which is into dusts and rocks now. Its real smart move towards the crypto and so in conclusion its more or less part of war.
1914  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hitting the world every year on: March 26, 2022, 03:47:04 AM
Prices going up for the things and we ending up in the inflation is entirely different aspect. If you saying xyz cost more than usual may be 3-4-5% hikes in the rates every year then I am not surprised because thats how the costs go up due to changes in the taxations, raw material costs going up etc. Now that is called as gain in the costs due to demand and pricey supply chain.

However, inflation is like things getting flooded with heavy cost. May be price hike of more than 10-20 or higher % gain in EA. This is not because of raw material getting costly but this is because money getting devalued for unit prices.

I think thats simplest explanation of it. Moreover, in the first case, our salaries, business capital gains etc also rise. We call it as Salary hikes, to compensate the financial balance.  Smiley
1915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency Awareness Campaign on: March 26, 2022, 03:06:45 AM
I think all of them great ways to promote the bitcoin and educate others for the same. Honestly, in today’s world we are already following all the above methodologies to promote it. Consider it direct or indirect it is already happening.

For example, When Ukraine Russia war broke the first thing we started to hear about crypto space is that there donations flooding throughout the whole world in the form of “Crypto Currency”.

News like, ABC exchanger donated $25 per individual in crypto currency’s.

This is nothing but the indirect promotion of crypto currency. More or less it is also educating everyone to rethink about the capabilities of crypto.

So Yup everything is going seamlessly. It’s the question of who comes in and who stays out.
1916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing the previous bear run of Market on: March 25, 2022, 06:19:29 PM
All I have followed is that bitcoin will be down by the start of any new year, then it will behave based on the world factors, whats happening around etc. In between the quarters there might be some whales playing their chase games so that they can bag it for the year end trivia. If you notice carefully then by the time of September to October things start to kick off with little hunches in the trading pattern. However, this is the start where you should not be selling but focusing on the holding methodology. But by this time you have already missed the point to enter into the market. So those who already bought at the start of year, for example take current bearish market then you are lucky enough to make more than 40-60% by the year end without any hesitation. It's Christmas and new year eve timings, the period where uncertain hikes can occur.  Smiley
1917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a start of bull rally in ALTCOIN? on: March 25, 2022, 05:56:20 PM
The rise is the result of bitcoin getting pumped very nicely. I am not sure how much relevance this has got with the current war with ukraine but the presedential order of sanctioning crypto usage to secure the country's asset made great deal of news. This was almost all of the money in the Ukraine would go to the crypto space. With Biden's visit and plans on giving away securities to the Ukraine, well they will win the war and thus the money which is in the crypto will be used for the future development. Could be start of big chapter ahead for the Crypto.

The whole news is impacting Bitcoin. As far as history is known, all the altcoins will always follow bitcoin no matter what. The bull is just started, there is still long journey to go ahead. But this is the start of new ATH journey for sure.
1918  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine has legalized the cryptosector on: March 25, 2022, 02:27:50 PM
Considering the current sympathy for the Ukrainian I think it’s best move. Unlike Russia which is completely doomed with sanctions and economic burdens Ukraine will have huge support with crypto currency’s. I am thinking Zelensky is taking this step to further escalate the economic situation in the country so that they can have enough money when War is over and they will have debts to pay. As of now most of the banks are looted, grounded and destroyed so money is not getting printed in the country neither accounts are tracked.
Best way to take everything in the virtual world that is Crypto Currency. So this really sounds best to me taking into consideration all the conditions of Ukraine and it’s economic warfare.
1919  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia considers accepting Bitcoin for oil and gas on: March 25, 2022, 01:24:00 PM
That might not get them anywhere because Russia is ready for the acceptance of bitcoin as payment BUT, are the other nations ready to pay in bitcoins? I don’t think. Why would any other government go beyond their countries set out rules and regulations if they have already regulated the bitcoin in their country or if they don’t wanna promote the bitcoin?

For example, any bitcoin transaction in India would cost 30% taxes at the end of financial year. This means the same taxes will be recovered by Indian government by imposing them on the fuel purchases by common man.

Do you really think they gonna like it?
1920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Bitcoin Secret Revealed on: March 25, 2022, 07:48:00 AM
It's adorable when someone completely misunderstands something and then tries to convince others that their flawed comprehension is some sort of revelatory truth.  Particularly when they're on their umpteenth username and their spiel still doesn't sound convincing.

Possession of a private key which allows you to spend a sum of BTC is very much a manifestation of ownership rights.  BTC cannot be duplicated like the types of message you have described.  I look forward to your next moniker and subsequent failed attempt to insinuate that there is no value in what Bitcoin offers.  People immeasurably smarter than you see the value in it.

.... Otherwise we would have been doomed by the time I write this post! I am also so surprised as how peeps are not able to see or agree upon bitcoin's existence until now and how are they not able to digest that words like memonic phrases, private keys, wallets, blockchain, nodes etc, everything is actually real? Why are they not able to understand how Mr. Satoshi visioned it for the humanity or at least for those who wanted to have their ownership with the funds they earn. Then we have these peeps who are literally questioning the existence of whole crypto space. How can they not see the day to day happenings of bitcoin or altcoins? The whole community talks about it, the government is accepting it and how can anyone be so ignorant.
