2401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top on the list of your portfolio on: October 17, 2021, 05:36:37 AM
I am currently focusing on ADA, MATIC, FUN, and RVN tokens. The best thing about the first two is they are way more popular and has market cap surging upwards everyday. Plus they do posses various utilities so are safe investment for me.

In the later part, FUN and RVN are on top of the list because FUN is big part of locked coin on freebitcoin so reduced supply over the time and increase price for the same. Apart from this, RVN is best choice because it is undervalued for now, has over billion dollar market cap, and is project to get more mining power by 2022. The target price of the project itself is $1 so I am gonna be long holder of this coin.
2402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba is worth the risk on: October 16, 2021, 05:39:41 PM
Buying Shiba at this position is same as buying bitcoin at today’s rate but you HD chance to buy bitcoin when it was couple of hundreds dollars worth. So it’s really hard to say if Shiba would do anything better than the current rates. It’s too much to ask from this meme coin now. Doge is completely different story tbh and can not be compared with Shiba. Doge had once in million chance where a dreamer billionaire stepped in and pushed it with all his power.
I don’t think the history will repeat with any other coin.
2403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: October 16, 2021, 03:57:50 PM
If Tesla (EM) did not sell all that BTC, then it would be more accurate to say that it is an unrealized profit - and EM has stated that it has no intention of selling that BTC, although this may change at any time.

This lol. Technically, it really isn't considered as "profits" if the assets haven't been sold yet in the first place. It's quite misleading, but I guess Cointelegraph's goal was to make it misleading enough to trick people into talking about it, and here we are. 🤷‍♂️

I think it’s best for us.  Grin
Know why? Because we are talking about this and spreading the word about two things here, one the Crypto space and second the Tesla. Both of them are getting famous here.
Well, let’s talk about crypto for that matter. From this news we at least have confidence that there is around 2+ billion dollars as fixed amount in it and is one of the many resistance for the same.
Moreover by reading this many users do think about crypto in different angles as we are long here.
This also brings another lot of peeps to crypto world.
2404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Don't easily lend out money. on: October 16, 2021, 01:19:40 PM
Hm, I am not sure if this reference is really necessary but on an average every person has their priorities. When it comes to money each of us will be little worried or overprotective about it. The main reason is, we know that we have it because we earned it and we also have various expenses rather than just “trading” or “investing” the money.

Yes, traders do need money all the time but everyone can actually have a break and spend some money on other stuff too. Also, that’s the whole point of earning the money whether it’s trading or by some other means.
2405  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Dark Side of the Art Industry Foretell NFTs Future on: October 16, 2021, 10:11:39 AM
I think I have made many comments on the NFT and how they are actually helping the wealthy peeps to launder their money. Though no conclusive proof have been found for this one, then also one can simply tell, rich peeps were using the art exchanges since very long under the name of perseverance and what not so that they can smoothly launder the money and show government a token of favour. This way they can also exempt the taxation for the particular value. They know very well they get to keep rare form of the art which can be easily auctioned out after few years by gaining capital on the same.

Some of them are also into art restoration and donate heavily for this particular thing. I think slowly NFT's will be best home to all riches so that they can also make this transaction more confident and save more money by hiding the tax.

Might look broad to read this but I think that's what NFT's will actually do. No one care if they own a art or not, all they want is good price in exchange!
2406  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 16, 2021, 05:33:38 AM
Yeah but its definitely not poker and launching their own sportsbook was good enough already
[...]
[...]
I don't see a point why wouldn't a business didn't hearing their user inputs, which if it happens, it surely they will miss what the user demand and many opportunities. As you said, it's a good indicator that Roobet taking the consideration what the user wants. I believe every decision they made has already been going through every consideration to make themselves gaining more userbase.

It is ultimate casino for many reasons! How many of you see live contests, live Roobet parties, daily to weekly jackpots on any other casino's? Honestly there are reasonable good casino's around but standing out of the crowd is mastery of Roobet Casino. I still remeber when Roobet was first published here on the forum I saw slot games, roowards, live casino etc. But soon after they started to pick up all the demands by their fan base and added sportsbook. Sooner or later their live parties are taking bold shape these days and I see thousands of users attending the same everyday friday or on the hosting day.
Obviously they have more number of slots to choose from as compared to others. It's actually becoming lightening fast to create the all rounder casino and sports gaming site.
2407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Just a piece of advice needed here folks on: October 15, 2021, 03:44:33 PM
Ahhh, thats very good question. I have this huge burden whenever my crypto portfolio is in bullish trend and I also start loosing my mind many times whether to keep, sell it or wait for the price to hike even more. The thing is I have started to be very strategic and firm about my trading ways. For ex, you must set out a goal. How much profit you should book? Does your BEP has reached for all the portfolio or just few coins? Once you think that or see the values in your favour you start selling those coins which are above BEP and also made you good fortune.
But at this point you should not be thinking about the another price hike. Moreover, even if it does hike, that should not be your problem anymore since you achieved your goal already.

It's gonna be hard, but you will understand eventually that its better to sell on time rather after crushed market!
2408  Economy / Economics / Re: Simple reason why crypto is preferred over fiats on: October 15, 2021, 01:54:51 PM
I dont think that anyone can monitor the funds that are being transferred to and received from! I mean yes, you can literally type any garbage address which would be valid one most of the time by just changing few letters in random address. That much transparency is there. However, you don't know exactly who the user is?

There is no way to find the trail which goes way close to the parent user and thus identity can not be explored.

Obviously there needs to be some precautions for higher anonymity! For ex, you can use mixer services and the hell no one ever gonna find to whom those funds belong.
2409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After a few months of China crackdown on mining. Check it out! on: October 15, 2021, 07:42:48 AM
Finally something good about China. Lolz. I mean in perspective of rest of the world or non-China who always thought China could manipulate the market severely and destroy the decentralisation any time soon. The whole thing has turned upside down for the China if above values are accurate.

One thing is clear, China will see great amount of reduced income in their country. Just imagine almost 30+ % of mining power and at the current rate the bitcoin income could have been enormous!! It’s literally shut off for China in blink of an eye. Plus I’m not sure what are they gonna do about the hardware, rented mining places, and what not. This is serious damage to them.
2410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Movies. on: October 15, 2021, 04:30:40 AM
It is so funny that the movie actually showing up the way out to everyone, bitcoin is escape pod for us if you are in financial trouble mostly govt raids, wanna hide money and taxes etc.
I mean that scene does have many point of views. For example, another dimension could be that, bitcoin is giving you power to hold your own money, the same thing which we keep saying if your keys then its your bitcoin / you are the own bank.

Bitcoin / crypto currency has appeared in many many movies and series until now. They are mostly referred for the criminal activities or also for the good funding sources. I saw first mention of crypto in Big Bang Theory by Chuck Lorre, then recently it also appeared in the Netflix Seris BlackList. The crypto trail was also used to find out who was behind the activity and it was literally Government who funded the terror activities with this.

I think Bitcoin is slowly making its way through various platforms and soon peeps will at least search about it after hearing it from their star.
2411  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com |Sporty Roo Art Comp. ~$5000 up for grabs! | 10 Winners - 1 Month! on: October 15, 2021, 04:06:14 AM
Lovely!
I gotta say Roobet is hosting this event graciously all the time and we get to see great number of entries which are very very competitive. It's beautiful to see we get new artists and new type of artworks for every contest.

Thank you for very much for great opportunities @Roobet and @Hhampuz.

Hearty Congratulations to all the winner and all the artists who entered!
2412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: October 14, 2021, 05:29:08 PM
Neither of these projects have a valid use-case. They are meme-coins. Speculative gambling at best.
I’d be lying if I said I never owned any. But just a few dollars here or there. These aren’t serious projects for real investors. And they probably won’t be around in the next 10 years.

Well you talking about the DOGE which is already celebrating a decade of life and also had break through in the prices after Elon played some games with it. This has actually brought some serious investors over the time out of curiosity or out of the good timing of everything. Now just look at it, whenever the bitcoin market is making good bullish moves, DOGE also follows just like those projects which are pre existing and working with higher pace than DOGE plus utilities function.

I think its worth noticing that it will exist for very long time no matter what. I am not sure about the Shiba Inu, its serious joke to the community. One can buy million of coins with few bucks. Thats insane.
2413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Putin believes Bitcoin has value on: October 14, 2021, 04:27:09 PM
All about the oil. Well he is mostly thinking how they can overpower the US dollar or other modes of payment so that they can sell out their Oil in different ways than the traditional. This is surely out of one important thing, they need BTC to be used as charmer payment to help attract more and more investors for it. Crypto adoption is under discussion since long in russia. They could be in the set point, where exactly the BTC will play the role.

Let us not forget that Russia is the reason for 12% global supply of oil and securing the third position in the world to do so.

Imagine that much being paid in BTC will be put Russia in the top 2 or 3rd position by its BTC use.

Only not sure about one thing, except the different mode of payment what is achievable through this?
2414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical aspect in trading on: October 14, 2021, 04:14:35 PM
You should have started learning the crypto trading before you started trading and leaving behind only $200! That's a risky business dude.

There are hundreds of topics in the Trading Discussion section which you can read and learn from them. There are also topics which tells about the traders story, how they lost money, how they recovered their money. These are some of the good search terms you can insert and get amazing topics.

Note: Some of the OP's might not be good, so you better read through the thread and see good replies on the topic. That would be important learning for you.

Topics:
Traders who never bother to learn how to trade
What is the Best Time to sell ? *Go through replies
Ruined my account through multiple mistakes
I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month
Rather learn to trade by yourself *replies
2415  Economy / Economics / Re: Simple reason why crypto is preferred over fiats on: October 14, 2021, 01:00:08 PM
That's because no single person or group of persons is or are in control of Cryptos, it's called Blockchain technology

Not really. Most of the time(like, Bitcoin is the only exception), a single development team controls the entire codebase of a certain cryptocurrency project. "Blockchain technology" doesn't automatically fix the centralization problem. Very very common misconception.

Oh yeah, I just started thinking more about this problem now. I was like, if everything is decentralised and no one controls it then "who runs it?"
That is a good discussion point. Unlike bitcoin which has public development sources that gives it somewhat decentralisation and I still think it is not 100% isnt it?

For the alts they literally manipulated by the developers and that is why we have huge amount of scam cases on going everyday. That's the prime reason why peeps keep talking about the projects where money was collected in ICO token sales, airdrops and later on the team was flee away with unattended tokens over the blockchain.
2416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Choosing best Crypto-Exchange? (For Newbie) on: October 14, 2021, 05:17:23 AM
More or less always go for the popular exchangers who has good number of users and volume which they can easily liquidate. The liquidity is power of any exchanger which defines how capable the exchanger is to sell and buy large transactions at once. This is very important because I have seen and traded on few of the exchangers because the coins were not listed anywhere else. The coin had so less volume and even the exchanger lacked number of users who would buy it.

This is why you will also see various exchanger shown in descending order on CMC. Depicts the power of exchanger for particular coins.

Well rest of the things are already mentioned by OP and others.
2417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 13, 2021, 06:09:05 PM
For now it looks on the verge of success however soon things could pan out in different sense. I mean with increasing doubts in the NFT Based transactions which are being done against art selling has been under radar of SEC and different government authorities. This is not just out of thin air but has great relation with the digital painting that’s sold for 69 mln dollars. The two were related and could be part of money laundering. So question have been raised for the current projects too. Though there are many genuine artist who are willing to go popular with the NFT then also chances are high that there is money laundering is being done.
2418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the internet is down in the future on: October 12, 2021, 09:29:48 AM
Well if we have projects like star link under built and almost many of the countries has already approved for the star link project by Elon musk I see low chances of internet going down. In fact the productivity over internet has grown way more than 2019 because of one thing and that’s COVID. During COVID when the whole world was shut down and everyone was forced to stay at home, Internet was the big escape for everyone. Like crazy big. Many big information tech companies actually started to opt out for work from home strategies and this need of internet increased and it kept everyone connected.

In this scenario I highly doubt, Internet will go down in the future.

If it does then we are on the sinking ship with no captain. Welcome to dark ages!
2419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 12, 2021, 09:24:35 AM
That’s funny because last time I checked day trading is income source of many peeps in the stock market as well as newly emerged crypto space too. I don’t see that as a problem though article has counted it as problem. I mean if that’s the thing in crypto then why no one argued on the same in case of share market day trading. In fact many peeps are switching the day trading in share market to day trading in crypto space. This is because of volatility of the market which has been great essence for a day trader in terms of quick profits (losses too). If played carefully then it’s not a addiction but it’s whole new stream to learn about.
2420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you miss Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2021, 05:30:19 AM
Honestly when I came to know about bitcoin for the first time I always wanted to buy more and more coins. However, I did not because there was major factor behind this and might be very common for most of the investors: The Capital. I was just student at biotech college and more or less the field of crypto was completely new for me. With the time, I started loving the idea of bitcoin and saw it as an opportunity. But the major thing that was missing is Capital itself. As student had no part time work or other way of funding the desires. In my country parents won't give away money to college student for things like crypto (!)
So not the pocket money neither other sources of investment. I believe that is why I missed the bitcoin and it's worst feeling when you have known bitcoin since it was trading around 200-500 bucks. Today, I am trying so so hard to invest in the bitcoin and not to sell any bits whatsoever. Whether the money is from mining, campaign works, art contest etc, everything goes to wallet and locked until the desired value is achieved.
